Antony is the best. We are very pleased with our Outback. At first we werent planning to purchase right away. He wasnt pushy, just showed us all the great features, and when I contacted him sooner than we had planned he was more than accommodating. He is very knowledgeable and friendly and we appreciate that.
First Team Auto is a great place to buy a car and then have it serviced, albeit a bit more expensive than your neighborhood mechanic. I started bringing my Subaru outback into the dealership in 2008. I bought a Subaru Impreza from them in 2018. I am impressed with the courtesy and knowledge that employees, from salesmen, to service personnel, and shuttle van drivers show to customers and each other. I ask many questions about what I drive and have never been belittled or felt stupid. I received good sound information to add to auto knowledge.
Quick and easy! They are very helpful but they do not try to push unwanted services on you but they do advise you of the maintenance you need and let you know the importance of each item. The waiting room is comfy with great basic amenities. The pricing is also reasonable.
Awesome team! Sales Rep. Steven Waskey has helped me Multiple times over the past 3 years with 2 different vehicle purchases, deliveries, and much more. This was my fastest experience purchasing a car outright with cash. No issues with any service or team member. Everything was extraordinary from finding the car, to test driving, signing documents, available information on parts, services, other vehicles in the area, and any other information given almost instantly . Took about 45 mins in person to sign everything, order parts wanted, services, etc... Big thanks to Steven Waskey for all the dedication to helping me find what I wanted and make my purchase. Also want to thank First Team Subaru for awesome customer service and team members!
Come to get my oil changed they have good service and they also are dog friendly!!
On August 5th 2021 my 18 year old daughter brought her 2013 Subaru Legacy into First Team Subaru on Peters Creek Road for servicing, which she worked and saved to pay the 807.47 bill. The servicing included a multi-point inspection that was supposed provide an inspection of the battery terminals/cables/ mounting as well as battery condition i.e storage capacity. This morning 8/25/2021, less than 3 weeks later, while traveling between college classes she could not get her car started because the battery terminals were almost broken and actually did break as my husband cleaned the mound of corrosion that could be seen at a glance. Technician Greg Jennings took advantage of a young teenage girl because he knew she would not know if the work was done or not. Now my question is was the oil change, tire rotation, throttle service brake fluid, brake pads and rotors, air filters and cabin filters actually serviced ? When the dealership was visited this morning to show the mechanic the broken terminal and inform them an 18 year old girl was left stranded in a parking lot the reply was “Greg is not here today, sorry” I wonder if the Subaru manufacturing office will be as flippant when they see pictures of the battery terminals. Shame on Greg and First Team for tolerating such disregard for quality not to mention lack of safety for a child.
Our experience with First Team Subaru could be summed up in one word: Awesome. Jason Garner understood what we were looking for. He went above and beyond what he needed to do to make sure that we were happy with our purchase. The whole staff is amazing to work with and I definitely will be coming back to find our next car.
Great first time Subaru buyers experience, Antony wasn’t pushy or upselling anything I didn’t need, super professional and helpful during the whole process. Impressed with the whole first team staff.
Best car buying experience ever. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our salesperson Anthony Reynolds was and is the best. Never any sales pressure, it was like youre buying from a neighbor and not a dealership. Highly recommended.
Prior to my visit at First Team Subaru, I had done research on the car I was interested in - the Forester. My salesman, Jason Garner, explained its features and let me take it on a test drive. He also arranged for me to test drive a Hyundai SUV, so I could compare the ride and features. When I picked up the car, Mr Gardner went over the features a second time, so I could drive the car home safely. While I am still learning about this car, I appreciate the follow up calls and willingness of the team to answer my questions. I owned a First Team bought 2009 Sonata before this car and have always been very pleased with the customer care and vehicle service that the First Team center provided.
They are always the best...this is a company you should spend your money with they are very polite and they for sure work with you...Mark is so nice i really love how professional he is...Always
Middle of my trip home to Alabama, screen on the Outback going crazy. Controls A/C and radio. Had it fixed and on my way in hour and a half. Everyone very nice and helpful. They saved the day. 10 stars if I could.
Seemed like a great place to buy my next Subaru at first, so I went in to see what they could do with financing. I was unaware that they were going to shotgun my credit report with over 10 inquiries. While I get that the damage is *less* since theyre all in the same day, that is still damage that will take 2 years to clear up and looks like serious red flag credit-seeking behavior. Went to Shelor Subaru right after and got an excellent interest rate with only two hard pulls to my report, they even matched the price First Team was offering, thats the difference between taking a shot in the dark and going to someone with experience in auto loans. Avoid this place if you value your credit reports and scores.
Alyse Allen greeted me with a smile and explained the process to me. It was my first time there. She was very professional and friendly!
I warned my husband if First Team had the car I wanted I was going to buy it period. Rick Burke met us at the door. We sat at a table, I told him what I wanted, gave him my two choices of color. He took us to see a 2021 Forester the exact color I asked for with all the safety features. We were trading in our 2015 Forester for which they gave us a fair trade in value. So we bought the car. The next day I came back with a check and picked up my new car with which I am thrilled.
I personally would give 2.5 stars if I could given the experience I had with this dealer. Now please note I am an out of state buyer so do not compare an in person shopping experience with this one.Found the vehicle I wanted on a Sunday evening so I sent an inquiry asking if still available. Monday morning I received a call from a Internet sales rep Kim. She was very nice, walked me through the car specs and answered all of my questions. I initially wanted to trade in my current vehicle but after discussing with her decided that putting a down payment would be the best route for me. I explained to Kim that I reside in another state and want to get the paperwork done before arriving to avoid delays at the dealer. She agreed saying that would not be a problem, explaining that they work with many military families so they do out of state purchases all the time. We talked through the estimated payments and costs out the door. Everything seemed to be going to plan. Great! I thought, I immediately started my prequalification sent over the information and asked them if they have any in house or partnered lenders they feel would offer me a better rate I am open to applying with them. She sent me the application for me to fill out which I did within the hour.My assumption was that I would get a call back from Kim with some information on other rates offered by their preferred lenders... 2 1/2 hours later I get a response via text from a Dominique, a Sales manager with the dealer asking additional questions regarding the down payment and then said he would be checking with other lenders for a better rate. It was 7 pm by that time so I did not anticipate a response until the next day. Given the way we ended the discussion I assumed he would be getting back to me with more details on the lenders.Next morning (Tuesday) I get a random text no introductions or anything just sayingdue to historically low inventory levels we are unable to hold this vehicle. We still have to offer it for sale, but while you are on the way to see us I can hold the key... When are you planning on flying in?I was completely thrown off considering my intention was to complete all of the paperwork and pay the down payment right away. I was pretty irritated so I called to ask for confirmation. Dominique was very dry what sounded like a scripted response. I told him I understand the shortage of inventory but I plan on paying the down payment and finalizing paper work prior to arrival. I even told him if arriving that Friday or Saturday was a problem I am okay with heading out within the next day or two. He kept repeating himself then said he would check back with the other lenders but will not commit to holding the car for my purchase.Quite honestly it felt like he was dragging feet after that was beyond slow to reply. You could tell he did not value our purchase nor did he want to put in the work. By the time he got me the information on the loan me and my husband were wondering if it was even worth flying up to be treated so poorly. We were about to purchase a $40k car and yet were treated like an inconvenience. Dominique never even followed up to see if we wanted to proceed or anything a couple of hours later I got a text from him telling me it sold.To be honest Kim was great, and had given me hope of an amazing start to a purchase. I also factored in all of the amazing reviews customers left too but unfortunately Dominiques service was so disappointing I could not get over it. We have purchased two other Subarus straight from Subaru dealers and I have to say the standards we are use to receiving were certainly not met.We ended up purchasing at another Subaru dealer, closed the deal within a day no issues or hiccups! Just transparent, effective, respectful salesmanship.
The car is great, but our experience with the details of the purchase were completely unsatisfactory. We were led to believe financing at 0.9% was available by Mr. Scott, only to find out as we were signing the last documents that financing would be at 3.9%. At that point we should have left the dealership, but we had been there all afternoon and were worn down. We have complained to management to no avail. To add insult to injury, the dealership did not provide the title/registration for the car we purchased on February 28 until March 28. Leaving us only two days to renew the registration. Of course, the people at First Team blamed that on the DOT. We will never purchase another vehicle from First Team and will never recommend that anyone we know go there.
Excellent in every way...honest, reliable, always gives appropriate advice and costs...no hyper sales techniques and service is impeccable.
Our experience at First Team with sale person, Mel Dobbs, was excellent in every respect. Mel was great to work with - he was always the gentleman, knowledgeable, patient, never hesitated to answer our questions ( and we had many).
Great people. Took care of me timely.
Let me say that Mel D is wonderful, this was my first time at a dealership an he was great! If I could give him more stars I would. Thanks Mel!
I took my 2013 Subaru outback there for a safety airbag recall. From the moment I arrived until the job was finished the staff was polite and quick to answer all of my questions. I was met outside in the parking lot when I pulled in and directed to pull into the garage bay. I was provided a loaner vehicle (2021 Subaru Forester) while they performed the airbag recall. My vehicle was also making some pinging or rattling noises when accelerating but only happened between 1.3 and 1.8 RPMs and the the staff at first team Subaru were accommodating and actually had a technician ride in the passenger seat while I went down the block so that he could hear the noise. The facility was extremely clean in fact there was a guy walking around sanitizing as I was standing in the lobby. I look forward to working with them in the future with any and all of my other needs in fact Im already considering purchasing a new Subaru now that I had the chance to drive a 2021 Subaru Forester as my loaner vehicle. Thinking about getting a new Subaru Crosstrek or Subaru outback.
Richard Burke was an awesome salesman. He worked with me through the entire process of purchasing a new vehicle. He did a fantastic job with suiting me with the perfect SUV with everything I wanted and at a good deal. I highly recommend First Team Subaru.
The FirstTeam Subaru were not only professional, their customer service and sales were welcoming. Mr. Rick Burke made sure I got a worthy deal and took care of everything, was available to answer all my concerns and addressed them. I hope they continue to do so. Mr. Kevin explained everything we asked. I would recommend FirstTeam Subaru to everyone!
Cant speak on the business but I came by late but not at close specifically asking to test drive a Crosstrek. Even told the guy I totaled my car...Dude didnt get my license, slapped the tag on, good thing I was licensed! & sent me on my way.Car was nice (minus the sketch new engine feature). When I got back I had questions & then asked for pricing. He took me inside, only to show me how to look up stuff on my own & blew me off.....I have drooled over those cars for a couple years now & just had my old car totaled... When I sold phones and somebody came in with a busted one it was the easiest & most guaranteed sale. Dude didnt even try. Maybe he was over it that day, dunno but he was the least involved salesperson I came across. I didnt even need full print outs, I just do better with someone breaking down options, math & monthly estimates. SOME kind of effort & interest was all I needed.I went and got a used one from Shelor, they were a lot more helpful.
Just purchased my 4th Subaru and it was a totally smooth experience working with Mel Dobbs! Mr Dobbs helped me get the best deal on my trade in and very patiently explained all of the new features on my Subaru Outback. Thanks First Team!!
First Team is the best! This review is for Subaru Service and Parts. While I do most of my own work I buy a lot of parts from Dwight to keep the Subaru a Subaru! Eric in Service does a great job when I do need help with my Legacy! I know some of the technicians and they are the best!
Went very well. Mark and Eric did an outstanding job.Would give the highest rating for my visit.
Steve Waskey was so easy to work with. Great experience.
I’m very pleased with the car buying experience I had at First Team Subaru. Steve Waskey helped me in every possible way, and I appreciate the great service. My Crosstrek is a great car. I highly recommend First Team Subaru.
Another GREAT experience at FIRST TEAM SUBARU !!!! Thanks going out to JASON GARNER 🙂for finding me Exactly what I wanted ....and helping me negotiate all the new “ Bell’s and Whistles “ on these new cars. Also, thanks to Mark Hardin for working me through the Financial aspects 🙂. This is the Only place I would deal with when buying a car. Thanks to you all very much
Everyone was very friendly and helpful . our salesman Jamal Terry was great
I have been to this Subaru dealership for service 3 times, and every experience has been exceptional. Todays visit was for a flat tire. I was a walk-in after being advised that it was my best option since they were booked solid for the next 10 days. Eric took care of my servicing today and alleviated my concerns that one irreparable tire would lead to the hefty expense of four new tires. He was very professional like all other team members that I have encountered. The new tire was installed and tires were balanced, all within one hour.
Chris Martin and the rest of First Team Used Cars were wonderful to work with! My girlfriend and I will definitely be back if we need a vehicle in the future.
I had my subaru towed in. The next day Eric called and said it was the transmission and that subaru had extended their warranty on the transmission and it was covered under the warranty. Two days later Eric called back and said it was the differential and it would be $7,200.00 They should have checked it out before telling me it was the transmission and that it was covered by the warranty. This was very wrong.
Not inexpensive, but do a great job.
Went for an oil change. Excellent customer service. They text you so that if you need anything you dont have to get up. Water available while you wait in the comfy lounge. They even washed my car afterwards!🚗
We have purchased our last twelve vehicles from First Team between our family members. Wayne Lewis always gives us outstanding service! We cannot thank First Team enough for always going that extra mile to make sure we are taken care of and are satisfied. Wayne is accurate and efficient. We will recommend Wayne, Lisa, and Don to anyone who is looking for a vehicle. Thank you for your outstanding service and we will never shop anywhere else! You all rock!!!
*Unfortunately, I can’t delete this, but I am editing to add the following:Just minutes after posting this review, I received a phone call from a very sweet woman who was understanding and apologetic. She said should would talk to the staff about the incident. Shortly after, I received another call from a man who explained exactly how he handled the situation and apologized several times for my experience. He explained that this was not the norm and that if a customer refuses to wear a mask, they are asked to wait outside. He assured me this would never happen again. He was very kind, understanding and felt very bad for what happened- so bad that I felt bad for causing such an upset. He even offered free services on my car, but I was so blown away by their response and felt that was above and beyond as it was. I greatly appreciate how this was handled, with the staff and with their phone calls to me. Thank you!I want to preface by saying I’ve never written a review of any establishment, so I must have really been rubbed the wrong way to go to the trouble of writing one. I bought my brand new Crosstrek in 2016 from First Team and have gone to them for every service appointment that I have needed. I’d guess I’ve spent around $40,000 there. I will never go back after today.I get it- the mask issue is controversial (although it shouldn’t be- if it makes people comfortable and helps them feel safe, just wear one). I’m a single mother of a 5 month old. We haven’t been anywhere besides our monthly grocery trip and this service appointment. We are overly cautious because you just don’t know and I will do whatever it takes to protect my baby. Wearing a piece of cloth over your face is not a lot to ask. I brought a blanket so we could sit outside, but there was no grass or shaded area. We went inside and there was just one woman in there, so I felt safe enough to stay inside. We sat on the other side of the room. The room filled up with other guests, but everyone was respectful and kept their distance. Until one man came in and wasn’t wearing a mask. He came right up to me, moved a chair closer to my area and parked himself in front of the TV, sprawled out like he owned the place. I gathered my belongings and went to the front desk to ask about their mask rule. The man at the far left desk said “well it’s not a law, so we can’t do anything.” It’s a government mandated rule. It can also be a rule in YOUR establishment that you have to wear a mask to sit inside. It is a small waiting area. One person shouldn’t be able to make the area unsafe and uncomfortable. As an employee, you can say “you don’t have to wear a mask, but you can’t sit inside.” HE should have been the one standing outside, instead of me trying to protect my baby from the sun while I got burned myself. You also closed off the children’s area, which could have been either a safe place for me and my child to wait, or a place for the maskless to be.On top of the issue, the employee ended the conversation by arguing with me. No “I agree with you”, but an argument. Rude and disrespectful. It’s really a shame, because I’ve always had a wonderful experience there, especially with the man at the far right desk, but this is enough to not make me come back. You’ll never know how hard it is to be a single parent unless you are one. Having issues like this that could easily be prevented adds so much unnecessary stress and upset. Do better.
I can honestly said I had a great experience with First Team Subaru. This was my first NEW car purchase so I was a little nervous but Edward Weber made me and my family feel comfortable. He presented all of the options from the vehicles to finance and warranty options but never pushed me into anything I didn’t want. He really allows you to shop for your new or used car and assistant you in answering any and all of your questions. Karen Wiseman also reaches out to me to make sure I was happy with my purchase of a 2020 Outback Limited so First Team is more of an honest company not just a make a sale and never hear from again company. I’ve also setup my follow up appointment with Kevin for him to review all of the functions and technology that this Subaru can do as a courtesy. I’m very impressed with the customer service, relaxed sales approach and will be recommending First Team Subaru to others.
Service department is second to none!
Highly recommend if you enjoy getting your car services with kind people!!!!
Davis Burcham, my salesman, was very helpful and always answered my concerns with factual and practical information. As a first time car buyer, I found with each visit at First Team, everyone was active and willing to help answer any questions I had. I would recommend to all my friends, if you want honesty in the car buying process, go to First Team.
I highly recommend First Team Subaru and my salesperson, Jason Garner. It was the best new car purchase experience I have ever had. Jason was extremely patient and helpful, very responsive but without pressuring. So many thoughtful touches throughout the dealership! I am very pleased.
Very nice dealership. Everybody very helpful, service and parts were awesome.
Mel Dobbs did a wonderful job. No pressure, and his knowledge of the 2020 Forester was Great. I highly recommend Mel for your Subaru needs. Buying process was painless and rather quick. Thank you all.
I showed up with my Outback on Dec. 26 asking if they could repair the mirror control switch. They not only agreed to repair it that day but also found an outstanding recall repair that they were willing to do that day. They were willing to do this even though they did not have appointments open for two weeks. When I picked it up they waved the charges for the mirror repair. I was very impressed with this because I was visiting from out of state, so they were so generous even knowing I could not be a return customer.
First team has sure improved in making servicing appointments. Servicing is always good.
Kevin Johnson met us outside the front door when we first drove up to First Team Subaru to look at cars. From the beginning to the end, he was polite, helpful, and cheerful. He was responsive to all of our needs and answered all of our questions. Karen Wiseman asked us by email to do a review. While we were making our decision on a vehicle, we got conflicting information from different people. For example, the first day that we were there (Aug. 9) someone -- I cant remember who it was -- said that the Subarus that were currently on the lot would be the only 2019 Subarus that would be available ... you werent going to be getting any more. Then on Aug. 12 when we brought in our check and brought along a friend (Linda Fox) who is also looking for a car to buy, some salesman who helped her (before Kevin became available) said that more 2019 Subarus would be coming in all through September. Two totally different answers were given about the availability of 2019s.Then there was a lot of confusion concerning the cost of the extended warranty. Ideally, all of your employees should be giving the same information and be consistent with answers to customers questions. That lack of consistency doesnt make a very good impression, Im afraid. Otherwise, we were satisfied with our experience; and we were especially happy with Kevins thoroughness and pleasant manner in dealing with us.
First Team Service department has consistently taken spectacular and efficient care of everything my 2019 Subaru Impreza has needed.
I love Subaru. I love that they have a Zero Waste Factory and they help us to recycle hard-to-recycle items, i.e. snack bags, coffee pods, cups, straws and lids. Everytime I go to drop off these items, everyone is so friendly and helpful and they thank us for bringing these items to them. For this, my next car will be a Subaru.
Davis was absolutely great to deal with! He was very informative and patient. Thank you for an awesome experience!
Cant say enough about this dealership. Wayne Lewis is our sales representative and he rocks. I called ahead and he had pulled information for several vehicles for us to compare by the time we arrived. He was patient in letting us make up our mind on our new Subaru Outback Limited. While I have always thought every purchase there was excellent, they still managed to make it even better. Even after the purchase Karen Wiseman has continued to make sure we are happy with the purchase and has kept in contact to answer any questions about the vehicle. This dealership is 5 stars from sales to service. Were customers for life!
Treated exceptionally well. Made a good deal on an excellent vehicle. Couldnt be happier
What is up with your internet sales team harassing prospective customers? Shame on your companys tactics to keep nagging. I told your employee that I am not interested anymore but still the person sends an email arguing
I had a wonderful experience here. Kevin spent a lot of time with me and helped me to find the car that was just right for my family. Highly recommend!
This place is great. Good quality service, extraordinary products, very friendly, always welcoming. Finance rep Mark Hardin does an A+ job along with Bill Scott and Kevin delivery specialist make sure all is well.
Thank you to Doug, Mel, and Karen for making our experience a great one. The new car was a grad gift for my high school senior. She’s still walking on air! ❤️
Steve Waskey was awesome! Definitely have him as your salesmen. Very nice and knowledgeable about Subaru. The team was very involved which I appreciated.
My favorite dealership in Roanoke! I buy my vehicles here and have all the maintenance done here. The service team is what sold me on the dealership. Ive been going here since 2015 and have been satisfied with the service and prices.
Mel Dobbs the salesman at First Team Subaru was the best! He was extremely patient and understanding and helpful in helping me choose the right car. We test drove several on different days and I am very happy with my choice..Thank you. For your time and service.
Worked with Mel and Karen during our visit looking for either a Forester or Ascent. They were very helpful with the options available and patient during test drives. We decided on the Ascent. The paperwork part was relatively painless. There was a little confusion when we came back with our trade to pickup the new car, although it wasnt a long wait. The new car was ready, but there wasnt anyone to finalize the transaction and give us the new keys.
As a member of the “Subaru family”, I would like to express my gratitude to First Team Subaru! We are a family of Subaru owners with 9 of these beauties between 4 families! Thank you so much to this awesome team that took great care of my Coast Guardsman today while he was in between duty stations. There is nothing worse than trying to stay on schedule and you have car issues. This awesome service department got his car in and out quickly!! I would highly recommend them! Not only was the original issue taken care of, but also a second issue was detected and fixed. As we have several USCG pages and many of these people who are looking for recommendations, I am more than happy to post my praises for other Coasties and their families to read!! You are to be commended! Thank you!!
A few months ago I decided that I wanted to purchase a new car. I knew exactly what it was that I wanted, and I will admit that I was being very picky. I reached out to someone I had met through personal references, David Nicely. He spent months looking for the perfect car for me and was very patient with me and my difficult requests. I decided on a 6 speed, 2018 premium edition WRX in the color black. Which was exactly what I had asked for. He went above and beyond my expectations and I highly recommend that you go to him for all of your future car purchases. After that exceptional experience, I know that I won’t be going anywhere else. Thank you, David!
Got my Subaru there. Best decision I have ever made. They are understanding and will try and help where they can!!
Service department is very friendly and very slow. Been over an hour for just a oil change. Appointment was at 8.40 still here at 9.50 and waiting.
From even before I was through the door, I was greeted and felt welcomed. It was refreshing after having visited several other car dealers in my search for a new car.
Awesome Place to go if you are an existing customer or considering buying your first Subaru. After every trip to the shop there, they wash it for free. Friendly service
I have been shopping 5 different Subaru dealers for a new Ascent and by far Jason Garner is the most knowledgeable and professional representative that I have encountered. Great listener to my wants and my thoughts in which packages I was looking for made me feel that no matter what it would take he would find a way to meet our needs.
Great experience. Rick Burke took care of me and was very attentive. Love the car!
Everyone at Subaru has been exceptional. I have never felt neglected. Thank you all!
Nice employees fast service
I had two experiences and both were negative. First experience was when I went to their shop. I walked around their lot looking for the used lot. Although there was a sign that showed that I was in the used the lot, the cars didnt seem to be used. As Im strolling around, I observed two salesmen just standing around chit chatting with each other, knowing they could go to a potential customer and provide service. No one comes out to help me or ask if I needed anything. The guy washing cars didnt even bother to do a thing. With not having received any sort of assistance, I leave.Second experience was during their tent event at the Salem Civic Center. First guy named Jose was great. He was very polite and courteous. He helped me with my searches and even provided alternatives to keep in mind. Unfortunately for me, he had to meet with an appointment. From that time and meeting up with a second salesman, I stood around looking at cars I was interested in. Literally, I stood in front of a car with four guys standing around no more than 40 yards away from me just chatting away. I was about to leave but the manager (I assume) said hell grab someone. He did. The salesman I worked with then was nice and helpful up until he insulted my level of need for a vehicle. For me to trade in my car to them for whatever I was looking for was to hand them a free car. They appraised the trade in value at $500. He went to see if they can go higher and he did. It became a whopping $600 instead. This vehicle had been appraised by Haley Toyota for $2500 and $1800 at Priority Honda. Also, typically you might be able to work some haggling in for some discounts or price drops, but nope, you can forget about that!So needless to say, my transaction with them never took place. I will never have business with them either.
Quick and easy buying experience at First Team Subaru. Worked with Rick Burke easily one of the most knowledgeable sales people Ive met in my years of car shopping. So far service has been great, thanks to Karen Wiseman for all the followup!
Steve Waskey made everything run smooth from preparing the paper work, getting a fare trade-in allowance for my used car and finding a outback that I could afforded. We were in and out in a couple hours.
Quick oil change at short notice. Looked like they even washed the car.
Good work
From start to finish this was an enjoyable experience. I hadnt had a car payment for 25 years. To say I was skittish would be putting it mildly. Steve Waskey was understanding and didnt seem to mind my slowness in making a decision. He bent over backwards to see I got exactly what I wanted. A 2020 Subaru Impreza Premium. You have one happy camper here.
Great experience, willing to help anyway they can. Karen Wiseman and Ramon Rivera were both extremely nice and very helpful.
I had a wonderful experience at First Team, and I love my Subaru. Mel Dobbs was especially kind and helpful.
There was no pressure to purchase, but much information was provided. It felt as though the sales person was helping me to make a decision instead of trying to sell me something. Great experience!
I had the BEST experience with Chris yesterday!!! He did everything he could to make sure I was happy before I left. He answered my millions of questions and had so much patience with me. I couldnt thank him enough for everything he did. He made buying my first new car a great experience!GO SEE HIM!
My buying experience with First Team was a delight. After going to another dealership to test drive a Subaru, I ended up finding the exact model with all of the features that I wanted on the First Team website. I easily scheduled my test drive for later that evening and Kenny Martin had the car waiting for us when we got there. The car was exactly as pictured and decribed on the site. I knew I had found my car and was very impressed with Kennys willingness to work with us to match what the other dealership was offering. I ended up with with a better deal on my trade in and a lower overall payment! Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend to any friends that are looking to buy a Subaru!
As I say every time after my visit, it is a pleasure to get my car serviced. I really enjoy my visits there. Thanks so much to all of you!
Bought my first car here and it was a great experience. Cory Campbell made me feel at ease and was very upfront and honest. Everyone I interacted with was cool, and the experience was top-notch. I would recommend First Team to anyone looking for a car.
Great buying experience. No pushy tactics on either the initial vehicle purchase nor dealer extras. Mel Dobbs provided a relaxed buying experience and stayed well after 6pm on a Saturday to ensure we knew all of our new Crosstreks controls. Karen Wiseman, the loyalty manager, explained the purchase details without overdoing it. Visit First Team Subaru, ask for Mel or Karen, you wont be disappointed. We love our new Crosstrek!
Davey Nicely (Car Sales) was easy to work with and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Davey and the team at First Team . Also thanks to Karen Wiseman ! You guys are the best !
Have have been looking forward to own a Subaru legacy car.But i never imagined that it be the SUBARU 2020 model.I like the 11.6 inches CID screen, the enhanced safety measures like the blind spot and pre-collision brake assist.i like the stability the car gives me when am driving on highways.Thank you Karen Wiseman and Mel Dobbs for the advice you gave me that led me to purchase this beautiful car.Mel Dobbs thank for taking your time to show me how to use the upgraded systems of the car, setting for me the best radio stations that i love to listen and the best safety features for my own use.
My husband and I had a horrible time at another local Subaru dealership so we were very hesitant about our car buying experience. Coming to First Team was like night and day. The team made us feel right at home. Mel answered all of our questions and didn’t pressure us to make a decision either way! We will now make sure to recommend First Team to all of our friends looking to buy a car. We love our new Impreza. If you’re looking for a new Subaru, make sure to go to First Team and ask for Mel!
I recently purchased a 2019 Outback. The process was seamless from start to finish. Karen Wiseman advised me of the vehicles and colors that were available, along with info on the great deals being offered on the Outback. Richard Burke was our salesman and was awesome. We test drove the Outback and found the perfect color with all the options we could possibly want. We received a great trade-in making the deal even better. This was the easiest vehicle purchase I have ever experienced. I highly recommend First Team Subaru. Be sure to contact Karen Wiseman and Richard Burke. They will make your visit the best!
I bought my 2018 Subaru just before Christmas. Rick Burke was very knowledgeable of what I wanted. I live in Blue Ridge mountains. Rick suggested the 3.6 Touring. Cold mornings you will like the heated steering wheel.
Took my vehicle into Eric Horn at Subaru service. WOW! He did such a thorough job in explaining everything that my car needed and keeping me up to date throughout the process. The technician Greg Jennings always does a perfect job, going the extra mile to ensure my vehicle is fixed right. And the girl in the office Cindy is an asset to your company, I dont know what you would do without her. Thanks guys, you have me as a customer for life and I tell everybody what a great job you do!
I bought my first new car from First Team Subaru and what a wonderful experience it was! We travelled 2 hours to Roanoke and they had everything ready for our arrival. Every staff member I encountered was so welcoming and helpful... They truly made me feel like family! My only wish is that I lived closer so I could have my car serviced there!
I had never been here before. My car broke down in WV and this dealer was close to the airport for a rental. So I took a chance. I dropped it off after hours on a Saturday. Mark in service called monday and put my mind at ease. They were able to fix my car, which had 2 blown head gaskets, in three days, and had it ready long before I had to come back into town and retrieve the car. They were very accommodating as well when I came to get the car. I want sure if i would be able to get there before they closed, so they were willing to leave the keys at the sales desk if that happened. Overall, Mark was very easy to work with and I would absolutely take my car to him again.
Purchased our new Ascent here. Well worth the 3 hour drive. Consumer Service/satisfaction is top notch. Kevin is Amazing with customers!
I would like to thank my service advisor Mike Adams in the Subaru service department for the excellent customer service. I highly recommend this dealership.
