Horrible!! Service! DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! We took our 2016 van which took them over a week to diagnose and was told a new engine was required. After a quote was given, at the time of service a different quote was then given. Agreed and after a week it started giving problems and when we took it back they did not attend the issue but rather said..nothing was wrong. We then took it to another mechanic and resulted in many discrepancies with the engine installation. Took it back to them for oil leak about a few weeks later and charged extra because they supposedly changed a cap from where the oil was leaking. Took it back the next week because it kept leaking and asked to fix the problem and to add what was charged originally since they did not fix the issue. They stated to have checked it again and replaced a gasket. The next day the check engine was giving us 11 codes!!! Took it to another mechanic and found part of the engine to have been smashed!!! And other issues all of a sudden.. long story short... DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO THIS CROOKED PLACE!!!!!! 😡 will be reporting them to the BBB!!

Extent service and good work

Got my transmission rebuilt after having the car for nearly a year, and i would say it drives better than when i bought it. Very trustworthy work and very insightful. Definitely recommend.

I waited a while to post a review because Im so skeptical of mechanic shops and wanted to make sure it was a overall long term experience but Diego has exceeded my expectations above and beyond. I had my motor rebuilt back in July when I had lost hope of it ever being fix they literally put the pieces back together. I have done all my oil changes with them so that my warranty and maintenance are up to date. I Highly recommend them. I just took my truck on a long trip no problems whats so ever feels like a new truck worth every penny I put into it. Im very grateful for reviews that I have read thats what lead me to taking them my truck. I Highly recommend them.

5 years ago IG Diego rebuilt the motor on my Ford F-150 (cracked block due to overheating). They later replaced the heater core which had rotted through (that might have been a more difficult job than the engine rebuild). 100,000 miles later, the truck is running like new. Recently I brought them a 1961 Chevy C-10 which I bought as part of a real estate deal. The truck was the victim of D-I-Y hobbyists. Eddy, the tech responsible for the job, did a through analysis of the truck and detailed each recommended repair. Once again, the engine rebuild was completed in short order (nice to not have a trail of blue smoke following me). Of course life is not simple with a 56 year old vehicle. The steering gears had worn down and needed replacement. The prior owners, put in an automatic transmission shift that gave literal meaning to the term suicide. Neutral indicator was park and reverse indication was possibly drive. We decided that too needed replacement. Great professional work, fair prices, and superior customer service. Ill be back!

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS CON MAN! i took my Chevrolet Silverado to get an engine swap. He quoted me for a price and we agreed. After starting the work on my truck the guy calls me that he needed to do extra work and it woukd be also EXTRA MONEY! of course. Since he had my truck already disassembled I agreed once again. Once the job was completed he promised that the new engine woukd last me at least another 100k miles. He couldnt be further from the truth. 2 weeks in and maybe 1,000 miles my truck started having engine problems.

They even let me speak direclty with the transmission technician specialist whose name is Eddie, he explianed every little detail my transmission had and guided me step by step on how to take care of my transmission and car. This is my first review. Ever. Thats how passionately I feel about this shop.Im a very mechanically inclined, I do all of my work on my vehicles; however I needed a new u-joints on my drive-shaft, I couldnt remove them and needed a shop to press the old ones out. I called and was quoted 45 dollars to press my old u-joints (PLURAL) out of my drive shaft and install new ones. Little on the steep end for 20 minutes worth of work, but I needed it done. I took the drive-shaft there and the guy I talked to on the phone seemed genuinely surprised my drive-shaft had 3 u-joints... almost all drive shafts have at least 2... Well he said since there were 3 hed have to triple the quote. 45 dollars just went up to 135 bucks, backtracking and saying that the 45 dollars was for one u-joint not one drive shaft... I said I was leaving.He then backed down on his price and we settled on 80 bucks.While I was waiting I heard a customer complaining of the shop doing a similar thing, quoting one price, performing the work and asking for more, but they werent consulted first.Went in to pick up the drive shaft 2 days later, paid the quoted price while another woman argued with the owner about a price he quoted her that increased without her knowledge as well.2 weeks later, I get to the point where I can install my drive shaft, only to hear clunking coming from it when I drove. I removed the shaft, then my new U-joints and saw the double cardan centering yolk was completely destroyed. This meant they took apart my driveshaft, they saw the yolk was destroyed (It was painfully obvious when the joints came out) re-assembled a destroyed yolk and sent me on my merry way. Instead of the ethical thing, saying hey, customer, we found your yolk was busted.... Or literally saying anything! Maybe they were hoping Id come back and try and make another buck off me to get it repaired? I dont know, but I wont be going back. This is not an ethical shop.

Transmission specialist haha, the guy they have doing the transmission work first of all is an illegal alien so I dont know how Diego can employ him. Plain and simple, do not take your TRANSMISSION problem to this shop. He uses USED parts in all of his rebuilds, torque converter(spray painted) same one as before, clutches, steels, washers, bearings, you name it they are all used parts. A rebuilt transmission should be rebuilt using NEW PARTS!!! thats what the customer agreed to pay for. Anything else is unacceptable, this shop is robbing U.S. citizens, not only of there hard earned money but of work as well.HIRING ILLEGAL ALIENS IS AGAINST FEDERAL LAW!!! It is time we did something about it!In response to the anonymous google profile which reviewed thats what the customer agreed to pay for . The customer is making the agreement with the understanding that a there rebuilt transmission will receive new parts ! They have no reason to believe otherwise and are trusting the business is going to do exactly that. Adding, Transgear is not a legitimate lisenced business the person, JUAN AMBRIS, is an illegal alien, Juan Ambriz, formerly conducted business as business owner of I.E. Mobile Transmission repair. This person claims he is from New Mexico but can not produce any legal documentation of citizenship to the U.S. He practices, parts swapping, insurance fraud, breech of contract, as well as identity theft, and should be investigated by federal agents.
