Unit ran great for a week before the remote unit failed, purchased in tank pump, ran great, then on third drive the computer failed. They were nice enough to send me a replacement but it just never ran right and now the handheld computer has failed. After thousands of dollars I’m left with a unit that floods and now can’t make any adjustments. I would never recommend these units, I have installed 4 of them and every single unit ended up in the trash with a carb re-installed. Spend the extra money and buy a Holley unit.

Don’t waste your money. I purchased one in 2019 it ran just a little over a year and then the secondaries quit. Because the person that installed it for me had installed many of these units the company went ahead and fixed it even though it was out of warranty. However it did not last one year in the ECU failed. This time they won over $300 to repair it. I paid $1000 for this thing plus the fuel management system and I’m not about to put another $300 it hasn’t lasted two years yet. I put it on my 1977 Chevy K 10 pick up. They also have very poor customer service if you want to know what’s going on you have to call them they won’t notify you of any delays. I bought a brand new elder Brock carburetor that’s brand new but remanufactured truck runs perfect right out of the box.

The products are severely prone to inept engineering and complicated further by HORRIBLE customer service. Some people get a good one, but many do not. There are electrical shielding issues, programming issues, memory issues, intermittent problem issues, compatibility issues, and more. All this is exponentially compounded by an incredibly inept customer service group who knows very little about their products, product issues or even how the things work. All this gets further insulting with a we just dont give a F attitude.

FiTech produces a great EFI system and they are experts at customer service. They ran a rebate promo for the EFI I needed, and its popularity created a back-order situation. They extended the rebate program so no-one got left out, then, when I had a slight issue with the performance of the unit, their tech guys were accurate and helpful. The fix was simple (replace a 2 hose) and the EFI is working great. Their people make them a great company! Hats off to the team at FiTech!

I have had good E-mail contact one time with the company. I have spent so much time troubleshooting, the unit will not lean out at all, I have done everything to my knowledge and it will idle at 14.4:1 right where in needs to be but driving down the road cruising 65-70 with a 4 speed overdrive @ 2100 RPM it runs at 11.2-12.8:1 its so rich I am changing plugs. My IAC steps are 3-7 my target AFR is 14.2 :1 and its still putting to much fuel in. I have the loop rate down as well.I love the unit its a great showpiece for my truck the quality is on point the monitor on the other hand needs to be better integrated with 2020 but it still works. Install instructions are great I am still proud to have it on my engine. The biggest problem is the lack of information customer service I live in Texas and the time zone is hard being 2 hours different but being closed for lunch thats just ridiculous its very simple to have employees off set lunch to answer the phone. And not being open on saturday when most working class people have time to work on the hot rods your closed.****Pro tuning software is impossible to find and download so if some body would help with that, that would be nice****All in all I will be going Holly from now on its worth paying extra for customer service.

I have a GoEFI 600 TBI unit, and I love it. It truly does make EFI easy for anyone to inject their engine. It’s a far far cry from trying to make the old Accel or FAST injection systems work like I tried 15-20 years ago. This is plug and play. You have to fine tune the AFR settings, idle, and warm/cold start, but in general, you can literally put it on like a carb, hook it up, start it and drive it.As for customer service; I have found they have been pretty good. I have had two issues now, but Fitech has been awesome about taking care of them. I have had 2 separate ECU failures. The first being one where heat would cause the handheld to restart constantly, but did not effect the injection itself, and the second being an ECU that failed a year later the same way with heat except it wouldn’t run after that until it cooled down. Annoying, yes, but Fitech stood behind it. I would agree that calling them is a bit of an adventure as I waited 30 minutes on hold, but once they picked up, they were very helpful.I live in LA, so the second time I needed mine repaired, I just took it straight to them. They had it fixed in 30 minutes (not that changing an ECU is hard, but the were there to help right away). No run-around, just took care of it. They are a relatively small business by the looks of it, and I like that vs. the conglomerate Holley’s of the world.

I bought FiTech EFI unit 30002 last year and installed in my vehicle per directions in the box, the vehicle never ran right and would not retain the program. I called tech support and talked a lady who walked me through all the steps that I had already performed to no avail.I attended the Las Vegas SEMA show in November 2018 where I met and spoke to Mike, he stated that they stand behind their products and asked me to bring it up to their Riverside location. The week after SEMA I called the FiTech Riverside location to arrange a day and time with Mike to bring the vehicle to them, after several phone calls and left messages I did not receive a return call.In September 2019, I called FiTech again and was connected to Dominic at ext 115, I asked to speak to Mike and was informed that he was not available. I explained the situation to Dominic that I had discussed with Mike, Dominic stated that I could bring the car to the Riverside location and they would put it on the Dyno and troubleshoot the unit. I asked Dominic when I could bring the car up and he stated that he would call me back with a day and time....I still have not heard back from Dominic yet!Good luck returning any products to FiTech much less getting ANY customer service out of them.BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN YOU BUY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY!!Daniel

I have to say, as much as I like there product I cant say the same for Fitechs phone support staff. These people are angry, every time I call I feel like I get an attitude from them. It is as if they forget who is paying there salary by end users who are buying there products. Looks like this company is having growing pains because there staff is overworked. It is a shame how the people on the front lines dealing with customers reflect on the company. I would try one of the larger companies who have learned the value of repeat customers and how much it takes to earn a long time repeat buyer, like Holley, MSD or FAST. Stay away from these guys.

Products are great. They have the capability to be a good company. Any kind of customer/tech support is just awful though.Ill only present my situation and opinion: command center started going out just before 1 month of installation. Started calling tech support. Waiting times range from 1-3 hours!!! If you can even wait that long. After multiple calls, finally sent it back to them. No word for 2 weeks. Finally gave them a call. Customer support says its ready. I asked what was wrong and did they fix it? Young lady says she will check and call back. Never calls back. I call back again next day. She says the same thing and once again never received a call back. Im very patient when I shouldnt be. I give them another week and contact them through Facebook. Response time is much quicker and they guy who runs the Facebook page is nice.Anyways now they cant locate my command center. They cant even find the paper work saying they received it in the mail. I gave them my tracking number stating they did indeed receive. This takes a couple days. They finally find it, tell me they adjusted it and tested it and will be sending it out that day. IT TOOK 1 MONTH FOR ADJUSTING AND TESTING. I ask for how long they tested it on the motor? No answer. The reason I asked because the command center would fail around 15 minutes.Well to late now, they sent it out and I thought what the hell Ill give it a shot. Ill get it soon. Nope, they sent it to the wrong address. I gave them my confidence that things would go smoothly and they couldnt cut it.I will no longer do anything else with this company because of this. To bad though, The product is great.

Purchased the 30002 system for a Ford 302. After installing the system and setting it up for my application I drove it 110 miles to give it time to learn. This drive was a constant drive through neighborhoods, on the highway and down access roads. The last 10 miles I drove it fairly hard so the system would have different driving conditions to work with. Upon returning from the test drive all the fluids were checked, timing was verified along with fuel pressure. My problem was with WOT from a stop. It would bog and gradually ramp up. First I tried advancing the timing from 14 to 16. No help. I then tried changing springs on the weights from heavy slow advance to light fast advance. No help. I then tried changing the Accel Pump settings in increments of +10 and then in increments of -10 all the way to +/- 40. No help. This is where I call FI Tech for help. I informed them that I had a 355 posi with a C4 3 speed auto trans. 2200 stall and the cam has a small duration of 221/225.They suggested the setting that I already tried and after I told them I did that I was then asked for a Data Log. I sent the Data Log after trying the WOT from a stop. After reviewing the log the tech told me he could not explain why my tps reading was showing zero at the WOT event. He then suggested that I try the latest software. After the install I once again took it out for a 100 mile test drive using the same route and driving manners as before. Still had the bog at WOT from a stop. I again tried adjusting Accel Pump +/- 40 in 10 increments. No change. I did not Data Log it this time because it is acting the same as it did with the older software. My next step was to purchase a Dual Regulator so one regulator would bring the fuel pressure down to 12 and the other regulator would bring it down to 6.5. I purchased a Quick Fuel 650 Carb with Mech Secondaries. Now it will burn the tires through 2nd gear.I have no exhaust leaks, no intake leaks, no bad grounds, no low fuel pressure, no slipping transmission, the stall converter is not loose because it is a 1200.00 custom built unit for my application. This engine is a fresh build with quality parts and I am not willing to risk my 7000.00 engine because of an improper fueling issue.I am going to send the system into FI TECH so they can check it out. I have seen mixed reviews on the system and most have said that the Tech side of the company is lacking something. If they send it back to me with a reason for my issues and it works like it should then I will come back and change this review.

Terrible. After waiting approximately 2 months before the order was actually sent, the initial order of a Go EFI 400 (30003) was upgraded to a Go EFI 600 (30002) after countless unreturned emails and phone calls. I had concerns as to the suitability of this system as it was going onto a 245ci straight-six which only puts out about 150 rwhp. I was assured that it would work well (I dont remember who I spoke to as I spoke to someone different every time I called). From the moment I fired it up I knew it was wrong. The idle fluctuated and, after driving, hung at about 1600rpm; the AFRs were way off and the acceleration was hesitant and generally terrible. It did not get any better no matter how much i drove it. I took it to the mechanic that recommended the system to me and he was able to cure the off-idle flat spot and bring the idle return to about 1400rpm ( which is obviously still far from acceptable as it was programmed to return to 800 rpm and would pull the car along as I was trying to come to a stop. I was very dissatisfied so I took it back to him and had the vehicle in his shop for 3 weeks while he worked on it, free of charge, to no avail. No progress could be made. The idle still hung and the AFR simply would not learn no matter what he did. It would drop all the way down to low 10s and then over-compensate, etc etc. All-round poor performance. We even went so far as to take another owners Go EFI 600 system off a 383 V8 (on which it was running perfectly) and put it onto my engine only to have it present exactly the same issues as my system, thus proving that the system itself was not faulty. I do, however, strongly believe that the system was unsuitable from the beginning and the assurance that it would be suitable was misleading.I have since re-installed a factory BBD carburetor and it has been running perfectly - all at the cost of about 300 AUD, as opposed to the 2200 AUD that I fronted for the Go EFI system which has been nothing but months of trouble. I do not believe I have ever before been so deeply disappointed in a product, topped only by the shocking customer service and complete lack of email responses that went with it.

Great product (not so much now). Lack lustre technical support, spent a total of 3 hours waiting over 3 days to get a basic answer to my issue. Back to the dyno tuner and more money to sort my system out. Try putting together a troubleshooting guide for the most common issues.Update. 2 years I have had the system, 3 fitech fuel pumps have died on me in this time. Ran straight from the orange wire, a solid state relay and a normal one. More time on the dyno tuning the self learning system.A Holley 850 ultra dp now fuels my car, not as great on a cold start, but it doesnt leave me stranded on a highway either and I have total trust in it unlike the fitech. Should have done this from the beginning and saved myself $3k as well. Lessons learnt.
