The salesperson said nothing was due on the first day, but to lock in a price, even said he would come back later in the day to pick up if needed. So, a high-pressure sales approach should have warned me. (PRICY DOORS(The project manager had stated there would be problems with one door, but would annotate it, and have the installers put in additional trim.Installation went okay, but their commercials tout their installers clean up thoroughly, I am still finding screws. The trim...wow...(photo)One door would not open 90°, and the other was sticking. The same installer came out to repair. Now the weather stripping does not meet, AND the door sticks worse.I called, and could not get scheduled. Got forgotten. I called back, and it seemed a suprise to them. I was told Rob would call me back that day or the next. Rob never called. I called and was told Rob would call or be by. Rob had someone else call, and someone else show up.Now it is yet another month that my door is scheduled to be REDONE...a full day, and I will have to take a day off work. ROB should be here doing the job!Update...the installers (a different crew) came back. Seems the door needs to be reordered.Rob was on-site today. My sister says he is a REALLY nice man. He called and explained the situation to me as well.We went from 1 star on up to 5, because they DO stand behind their product. The door is secured to its full use, and even a pleasure to open and close. I look forward to the re replacement.THANK YOU ROBAll fixed!

So Far only received onsite visit and quote for replacing pair of French patio doors with sliders with blinds. Very satisfied with the Anderson renewal representative and his detailed appraisal of our situation and the available options. As of now we will probably go ahead and contract with them for the new doors.

First crew could not do the window replacements so after 3 weeks another crew came after making a complaint. 2nd crew knocked it out if the park. Quality is superior but comes at a price premium.

So yesterday I finished up with what I would call phase two of the purchasing process with Renewal By Anderson which consisted of the measure techs coming out to my home to take accurate measurements for the doors I am having replaced. The appointment went well as James Wolcott and Mark Madison were very professional and ensured that I understood fully what they were there to do and details of the process going forward. During the appointment I was working from home, so I can say that I really appreciate that they were expedient while being accurate and available for any questions I had. Our design consultant Rick Wilder was patient, informative, and even stopped by the install about 6 weeks later. Our installer Ricky and his crew were aces on all fronts: timely, clean, obviously eager to make everything look right and perform well, and show us how the windows work. And I can already tell the windows deliver as well on sound insulation as weather insulation, over those they replaced. I’d recommend that crew to anyone.

I called 6/10/20 for an in person estimate and was given a 6pm appointment for that night. I received an email confirmation as well. I hurried dinner and waited for the salesperson to show up. I waited and waited. I called their number after 7pm and after seven minutes on hold, I hung up. No one ever called or showed up. I sent an email that night, and have never received a response. The next day 6/11/20 I called and asked to be connected to the local Anderson office. I spoke with an employee, told her what happened, and was assured that someone would call me back and explain. Today is Friday 6/12/ 20, almost 1:30 pm, and no one has bothered to call me back. This is very disappointing and unprofessional.

Jimmy was prompt for the appointment. When he got here I told him that I was seeking information. At this point I am unable to proceed with a purchase of the new windows. Jimmy accepted that and did not try to brush me off. He was very personable and spent time with me. He gave me the information that I was looking for along with a very nice quote.

We had the frame coming apart from our front door and we had to pull up on the door to lock it so we decided to purchase a new door. We shopped around and because we have decided that we are going to live in our home for decades, we went with Anderson.The customer service was off the chart and by far the best you could find. And we were impressed during the install of the door and the quality of the door. Anderson does not typically do the door installs. They contract out a company name Pro Via.The installers were polite and the lead tech seemed extremely knowledgeable. The install took only a few hours.About a month later, our storm door (which we also had them replace), began leaking water when it rained. My wife took off work to have them come and caulk the storm door. The leaking has since stopped.Around a couple months later, both doors were hitting in the top right hand corner. I gave them a call and asked for a Saturday to get the door re-installed.A technician came out alone and removed all the shims from the door and stated that was the issue. Both doors were back to normal.Now both doors are dragging in the bottom right of the frame. I called 3 weeks ago and a customer service rep was going to speak with their contractor and return my call. He was currently on an install and couldn’t talk at the moment. No one returned my call.I gave them a call back two days ago and spoke with a nice woman who apologized for no one returning my call and informed me that I needed to speak with her office manager who was in a meeting until 5pm but insured me she would return my call. She did not.Today I gave them a ring and when I got a hold of the office manager, I asked her why she didn’t return my call. She was silent and seemed as she didn’t know. I asked her if she had a Saturday and she wanted me to call a contractor and make my own appointment. I was not satisfied with this. With all the phone tag, I felt I did not want to call and start another game so she offered to mediate the scheduling by calling him and as of right now, they will be coming out this Sunday to reset the door however I did receive a call back this time. She had also informed me that in their system, the door was showing as re-installed. It was not.Every person I have spoken with was polite and seemed genuinely concerned about my issues. It is unfortunate that their actions did not reflect that same importance. We feel like, as a customer, our installation isn’t important and we feel like they do not live up to their values.We paid a premium for these products and expected a worry free install and we were assured we should not be having anymore issues.Anderson’s reputation is excellent so I was taken aback by all the difficulty we are having. I would not recommend Anderson for doors to anyone unfortunately. When it comes time to do my back door, we will be using one of the other contractors we met before choosing Anderson.

My experience with Andersen was exceptional! I had the upstairs windows replaced over the weekend (after rescheduling because of rain). The team was AMAZING, prompt and professional. I had Jimmy over to assess my windows, give me information about their products, and provide an estimate. He was very friendly, and gave thorough answers to all of my questions. Bonus points for being friendly with my dogs.

Our experience was great, this is our second install. It was even better than our last install. I especially liked that all stickers were on the factory film. This film was removed by installers and the window was cleaned as well. Last time we had a reside that took about three attempts to clean. Thanks for changing this in an excellent way!We were always keep informed of status of our order and install date. The installers called to say they were in route and time of arrival the day of install. Good cleanup and great job.

The man who came to my house was both friendly and professional. He wanted to make sure I was well informed about what my options were for getting a new door in the particular style I wanted. They werent able to give me the exact style I wanted, as my doors were on the smaller side, but have me another good option. Had 8 windows and L frame door installed at my house, 2/28/19 . The Renewal by Anderson team that installed team with Daniel being team leader were excellent from start to finish. Very conscientious to details, making sure everything was taken out and installed right the first time. When finished all the materials that was removed was taken away not a piece of anything on ground, Great clean up. The trim that was installed around windows looks like it was built as part on window. The whole process was great from the sales to inside coordinator calling a letting me know the order was on schedule. Jeremy and his crew did a great job with the installation. The windows look great and our salesmans recommendations were spot on. The support team called us several times before installation to see if we had any questions or concerns.We have already noticed a big difference in the temperature in our house and the curb appeal has improved.Expect to pay more and to wait longer for the install date due to high demand, but worth it.
