I got an industrial piercing from Sean at the same time as my friend who was getting her septum pierced. He was absolutely amazing. It went by quickly and he was funny and sarcastic, which cut the tension significantly. We have had many piercings so we weren’t nervous but it’s always great to have someone chill, informative and open when getting new holes put into your body.

Walked in today for a septum piercing and they had so many options for jewelry. My piercer (Adam) was phenomenal. I was pretty nervous, but he talked me through everything and had it over with super quick. I would recommend this place to anyone for quality body jewelry. The staff members were all awesome and provided everyone top tier service. (Plus, how cute/straight is this ring?!)

I would give them -100 stars if I could. From the jump, the service was just rude, but what really really upset me was the fact that one of the girls at the front lied about the price of the entire service, telling us VERBATIM that the piercing would be $25 and the jewelry is $25 so that the total would be $50. When the piercer rang us up the total for the service and jewelry was $88, the piercing being $35 and the jewelry being $50. We told him that we were told it would be $50 overall, and that someone we knew paid that same price for the same service at the same place, and he said “I don’t know why they told you that but it’s wrong” but at that point she already had the piercing in and HAD to pay, imagine if we only had the $50 to pay. So when we confronted the girl who told us the prices, she made it seem like we were crazy, saying that she’s “sorry we misunderstood her”. Genuinely never felt more angry and disrespectful in my life. Do yourself a favor and go to Lucky 13

Took my daughter to get her ears pierced this morning. They walked us through the process and were very clean and professional. Kelly and Jessica thank you for your hard work. I highly recommend this place.

I got my ears pierced here yesterday and the gentleman who did the piercing for me did a fantastic job! His name was Shawn and I barely felt the needle for both ears. He was very calm and precise and helped ease a lot of my nerves. He also recommended some after care products which have been working great for me so far! The young lady with the neon yellow hair who helped me pick out my jewelry was also amazing and very helpful. The jewelry is a tad bit expensive but in my opinion, worth every penny! Youre paying for excellent service, a very clean environment, and extremely high quality jewelry. If youre planning on getting your jewelry here, youre going to be spending about $100 just on that and another $20 on the actual piercing. I got two flowers, one black and one white and I love them. You can also bring your own jewelry for piercing but they will have to look it over first and make sure it will work for a new piercing. Overall, complete 10/10 and I will be returning here for more piercings and my next tattoo ☺️

Staff were very personable. I dont recommend taking your kids though. We had a 2 p.m. appointment and didnt get back for the ear piercing for at least an hour. By then my granddaughter was overwhelmed and chickened out!

We went here to have our infant daughters ears pierced based on our pediatricians recommendation, and were impressed with the care, attention to detail, and education that Laura and Jessica provided. We received a very thorough explanation of the procedure and aftercare (both oral and written). Then they really took their time in marking her ears to be certain they would be symmetrical and remain appropriately positioned as she grows. They were also gentle and patient despite all our daughters wiggles. The piercing itself was very quick and efficient, with almost no crying thanks to the way Laura and Jessica stood one on each side and did both ears at once. We might have spent less time and money had we gone elsewhere, but it was well worth it for the confidence and peace of mind knowing that it was done right by individuals who truly care.

I got my septum pierced by Shawn Levett, and it went quick and was relatively painless. He made me feel super comfortable and addressed aftercare prior to piercing. The piercing is perfect— perfect spot and it’s nice and even. I love it, would definitely recommend.

I LOVE River City.Got my first facial piercing there a while ago in February. The employees couldnt have been better!Ask for Morgan. We had an excellent experience getting my daughters ears pierced here. The staff was fantastic with her and she felt so special. They take their time to insure the piercing placement was perfect!

Way overpriced jewelry. I needed a simple, metal barbell and was charged $45. Ive purchased high quality jewelry other places at much more reasonable prices, and Ill get jewelry anywhere else than here from now on.

Got my lip pierced (monroe) I will say that it is a lot more expensive than other places ($85) BUT I figured when letting someone put a hole in my lip/face then I dont want a bargain. Also I have very sensitive skin and figured the titanium jewelry is probably a good idea. They have a HUGE selection to choose from. Moe did my piercing and he was just awesome. He made the whole experience so easy and fast. I will definitely go back to him if I ever want another piercing.

I just moved in from PA, I was going to Infinite studios in Philadelphia. They’re top notch and so I was looking for a place to match their professionalism and cleanliness. The piercers (& and 2 apprentices) were amazing. Super clean, friendly and communicative. Their hands are swift and accurate with TONS of jewelry to pick from. I got the opportunity to watch and listen as the apprentices were being taught, they’re creating equally talented and knowledgeable piercers for the near future. This is my piercing spot from now on.

Went in with questions about a tattoo. The artist I met, set up a consultation. He was in with another client, but came out to speak with me for a couple of minutes. The staff is way friendly and the place has a chill vibe. Its worth the drive to The Fan. I recommend this location over and above the one at Chesterfield Towne Center. I went the CTC location 3 years ago and things were running very well. Before I went to location on the Boulevard, I stopped by to speak with an artist at CTC. Two things happened... 1) There wasnt anyone there, but there was a young lady who greeted me. 2) When I asked about talking to someone she said there werent any available. I asked about a guy I had briefly spoke to a few weeks ago. She said that was her Dad but he didnt work there anymore. She gave me his number to text him because he works out of his home now. ... This is all suspect to me and thats why I just went to the Boulevard location.

Absolutely horrible. They charge entirely too much for the simplest of tattoos. And piercings..? Please. Unless Constance.. forget it. And way overpriced.. did I mention? Oh AND- turned away at 6:30pm when close at 8pm.... never again.

Got my nose pierced here, it was done so quick and precisely, I ALMOST didnt feel it. My eye teared up sooo much. But it looks great and healed well. The shop was clean and its like, never ending! Or so it seems. Lol there are so many display cases of body jewelry, Ive actually never seen so many pieces in one place. Maybe I just dont go to a lot of tattoo shops. 🤷 Piercer was professional and everyone was super chill and nice. Still need to go back for first ring change, bad at remembering things lol

My sister got a tattoo and a couple of piercings. The artist was very accurate and we were waited on quickly on a Saturday. They have many artists who are very experienced and well trained pieces as well as a very extensive selection of jewelry, including a whole room display of tons of organic jewelry.Very attentive, professional, and exceptionally clean, and the owner was the one requested by the governor to help write the regulations all tattoo and piercing professionals in the state must adhere to for cleanliness and sterilization procedures. Their collection of flash is stunning and extensive, and the artists can do custom tattoos with ease. I strongly recommend.

Went because my girlfriend has a piercing in a hard to reach place in her ear and the ball at the end unscrewed. They were able to put it back on in seconds and didnt charge us anything. Super friendly staff! I highly recommend for piercings.

Yeah river city is more expensive than a lot of piercing places in Richmond but their superior service makes it worth it. Constance is the best! She was very quick with piercing both my nostril and my septum while still being careful and making sure I knew everything I needed to about the respective piercings. They even called a few weeks after each piercing to check in and make sure that everything was healing well and see if I had any questions. I’ll be back

Rob wasnt willing to work with me on my simple tattoo. It got to the point where he was very clear about just not wanting to do some text an hour before they closed. Went to Black Rabbit the next day and the service was worlds better and I was able to get exactly what I wanted because the artist actually wanted to work with me.

One of my favorite shops. I recommend calling to make an appointment for ink, because theres usually a hefty wait. Im not a huge fan of phone calls, so I risked it. Ended up having to make an appointment to go back. Don was professional, taking time to learn what I wanted, and making the appointment. Im looking forward to going back.Ive had 3/4 of my piercings done here over the years, and theyve all turned out great. The staff is professional, and knows what theyre doing. They are very thorough in explaining aftercare, and responsive to questions you have after.Dont forget to tip! These guys really deserve it.

So much fun’My daith piercing didn’t hurt and the helix piercing only hurt a tiny bit. From what I have read, daith piercings are tricky to do.I accidentally ripped the helix out and I emailed Jessica, although the shop was shut down due to the COVID-19 regulations. She emailed me back and gave me great advice and reassurance.Great shop, super busy, make an early appointment and go early!

Very impressed. Took my 7 year old to get her ears pierced. The staff was top notch and very experienced. Very professional. Rooms are private, clean, and well maintained. Equipment was new and sterile with proper precautions taken. Recommend highly.
