He answered all of our questions and concerned without looking bothered. I highly recommend this place!!. We definitely will be back and glad we can help out the community.

This is a GREAT store and an amazing organization to support. The only cooperatively owned business in the area, they not only provide great service and quality products, they are also an amazing resource for the entire East Bay and making major contributions every day to their community. Supporting this store gives you a great shopping or repair experience, and enriches the community. My son has been going there for about 2 years as part of their youths bike club, his bike came from them and now he’s on a mountain biking team thanks entirely to their support. Icannot recommendation this business more highly.

This is not just an ordinary bike shop, its a community hub led by deeply kind-hearted men who provide young people with a safe place to gather and learn how to roll into their power safely with a really good soundtrack.

Friendly people, great service at a good price. What more could you ask for. My bike is in great shape now. And they have one of the best murals, so an opportunity to commune with great art.

The customer service is a little lacking but this place has truly stepped its game up in so many ways its crazy. Thank you guys for doing your thing in the community and working hard to be permanent staples here. Richmond is on a decline as far as businesses are concerned but this bike shop is one place that alot of major businesses could use as a model. These guys have encouraged myself to want to startup my own bike repair shop...

This is a fantastic bike shop and community resource!Incorporated as a non-profit, their primary focus is promoting community and wellness through making bicycling accessible and fun for the economically disadvantaged youth (primarily) of Richmond, CA.They have weekly health rides, monthly longer rides. They accept donated bikes and parts in (almost) any condition. These are used in their Earn a Bike program when young people can work in the shop learning bicycle mechanics and, after a reasonable amount of work - they get a bike!It doesnt have high end bicycles or gear - thats not the community they are trying to serve. They can fix most any immediate problem and are happy to order any needed parts for any bike (OK, Im not sure about carbon frame speciality parts!).

The young man Tay, I think thats his name, very knowledgeable. Very pleasant, made me feel as though I wasnt being taken advantage of. Since I dont know a darn thing above bikes and there interworkings. But Anyway I felt comfortable leaving the repairs of my daughters bike which I was taking to her away in college as her mode of transportation to campus. He made me trust her life in his hands. Which a Mom does not take lightly. Thanks young man.😊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bought a couple things there. Bad customer service they recommend a bike lock for my new bike a day later my bike was a stolen. The owner dismissed me saying that he did have time for that or me due to his mom passing. Very unprofessional way to handle things. Beware and do your research.
