Moved out of town and was back visiting family. Car engine light came on and thankfully was reminded of Sanko shop. Same great service after the 10 or 15 years since I last visited their shop. Family owned business. Do great work and will not work you over just to get paid. Dont come across trust worthy shops everyday like that..They are the best!!!

This company provided me with a amazing experience. They are professional and they showed empathy to my frustration and also was the solution to my problem with my Mercedes R350 I went to serval shops before them including the dealership and Sanko auto exceeded my expectations effortlessly they was very knowledgeable and price friendly and all the work was done in one day. Sanko is the fairy Godfather to foreign Cars and my overall experience was exceptional.

I took my 2015 Mercedes GL here for a service and very pleased with the entire process from starting to end. They are very fair and the prices are unbeatable! Its so hard to find service, pricing and integrity in the same place but they proved that that still exist!! Thank you guys for the wonderful service! Brought my ML350 in the end of August. Tailgate locking mechanism was not working, vehicle had cut out on me while driving. First response was I needed a new battery, I explained new battery was installed May 6th 2020. Next call, you need a new computer, $1200. I asked if my tailgate had anything to do with this? response was no, well how much to fix anyway, response $500.(skip the tailgate, repair the other problems for now) After computer was in, vehicle had an alert on computer, red battery with visit workshop message. Brought back to Beck, now it needs a new alternator, $700. My response, why wasnt alternator put in first? His reply, Ill put the old computer in for you and it will cut out again. Vehicle ran decent for two weeks, then started to not start again after only sitting over night. Bring it back in, tailgate locking mechanism in hand, $140 to replace... Im thinking why wasnt this done to begin with, many people in Google search had same issue. Im thinking a Mercedes specific mechanic should have known this. Vehicle starts no problem but still getting alert with red battery and visit workshop. Battery is under warranty. Bring to ORiellys assistant manager says alternator is charging only to 11 and should be at 14. Bring back to Beck, he says alternator is fine. Week later back at ORiellys with manager, he says the same thing about alternator. He speaks to Beck and Beck still says its not the alternator. Brand new battery dropped in, vehicle starts, still has the red battery alert and visit workshop. Beck refuses to listen to the people at ORiellys, continues to tell me bring it back to him and he will look at it over $2000 later and Im still having issues. Manger at ORiellys says something is shorted and the battery is not being charged fully, said is may be the alternator but could just be something shorted. I do not want to bring my vehicle back after the secretary gave me an attitude for taking a payment over the phone ($40). No attitude was given when my dad helped me pay over the phone, of course because it was $1900.. Beck is nice in person, i just feel like he is going through trial and era with my vehicle.

This is the best repair shop I have ever dealt with. Honest and Trustworthy !!I have been a customer for several years. Sanko has worked on 7 or 8 different vehicles that I have owned and I have also referred many people to them. I would not be able to afford the high end vehicles that I drive if it were not for them. I would highly recommend !

I had recently been in the market for a Mazda Miata. I utilized Cargurus for my search. 150 miles was my search territory. I wanted a 2006 or newer Miata (new body style) for around $6000. I did not expect to find the vehicle local. I had happened upon Sanko Auto (Becks Auto Sales) while searching on Car Gurus. All of my recent car purchases have been at large dealers such as Richmond Ford or Jerrys Ford. I was skeptical at first because it was a small dealer in the City. My wife and I took a chance and visited the dealer on a Friday. Upon arrival, we saw the 2006 Mazda Miata we had viewed online. We spoke to Motty Benjamin. Motty was great from the start. He address all of the questions we had. We inspected the car thoroughly. Purchasing a 2006 Mazda Miata with 123,000 miles was a risk for sure. The vehicle was in great condition. Minimal rust, good 5 speed transmission and great interior condition. We took it for a test drive and fell in love with it. Motty did say the passenger window switch was not functioning but he did have the switch on order and would install it for us. We told Motty we would take the weekend to make sure we wanted to purchase the car. I gave Motty a call on Monday and said we wanted to buy the car. We went to his dealership later in the day. After a little negotiation, we settled on a great price (Motty was not like a typical salesman. He was not pushy at all and clearly cares about the customer.) The car had no warranty but we were impressed by the condition. Needless to say, we left the dealership happy with our purchase. A day or so later we realized the AC was not functioning correctly. I knew i purchased the vehicle without a warranty but knew AC was necessary in Richmond. When dropping some additional paperwork off at Becks Auto, we told Motty the AC was not working. Motty asked one of his mechanics to check the car out. Shortly after, he fixed the issue at no cost (even though it was my fault for overlooking the condition of the ac.) Over all, one of the best car sales services I have had.

Beckett of Sanko is fantastic he knows alot about many different vehicles hes worked on s65 amg for years and has done a fantastic job on it couldnt have asked for a better mechanic and his prices are awesome way cheaper than any dealership or other mechanic i know

Second horrible experience here. First time I went was to do a computer reset, he said he was going to charge me $150 and I was okay with that. I went that day and he did not have the updated version for the newer vehicles. He called me the next day and said to come in and it was going to be $250. I told him that was unfair and I was not going to come. Second time- I called in to see if they would replace glow plugs on another vehicle other than the one I first went in with. His son was the one who answered and said to come in so he can check the computer because he doesn’t think the glow plugs are bad. Saying it will take 5 minutes to check the system and he will let me know if we should change them or not. Meanwhile his dad the “boss” was like well I’m going to charge you for the hook up of the computer as I can tell he is mad I didn’t bring back my other vehicle to him. I asked if they would change the glow plugs without hooking it up and he said no, leave. VERY RUDE, GREEDY, SMELLY EGYPTIANS HERE. WOULD NOT SUGGEST TO MY WORST ENEMY. 0 stars

Excellent customer service. Had this team do multiple repairs to my Mercedes C240, prices are reasonable and execution always reliable. Nothing more to ask for from a trustworthy, honest, fair repair shop. If your car is German save yourself time and come to these guys first, whether its routine maintenance or any an emergency.

Took me a little while to post this review constantly being busy with everyday life you know how it goes took my Mercedes C240 and to this establishment to receive a a diagnostic on my car error codes came pack I was told I needed a tune-up and it will cost me a little over $900 they were able to work with me a little long story short I end up paying them car was fine for a month come to find out they only changed the coil pack that was causing my error codes instead of changing all of them you charge me for a complete tune up and do half-ass work I have never return for service they are sneaky as every other typical mechanic

Where to even begin. These people had my Range Rover a week and did nothing. After telling me initially it was the key causing the problem, I ordered a new one for $240. That turned out to be wrong. Days after the new key I still havent heard a peep from them. I call and still they know nothing and tells me to tow to dealer after all this time. How could they consciously hand me a bill? FOR WHAT??? This was once a recommended mechanic, but arrogance over time has totally corroded what was once good service.

So my car was hesitating when I got on the gas, so I take it in to Sanko and have it diagnosed as a bad coil pack. Drop it off around 12 in the afternoon and am told I would get it back in a few hours. Did not hear anything back that day and missed work the next day. I call them the next morning and hes got my car confused with somebody elses car, he says he will start now and call me in a few hours. I get the call in a few hours saying the car is ready and I come get it. Later that night I am driving it and am experiencing the same problem I came in with. Honestly to me it looked like the engine had never been touched in the first place so I bring it back and repeat what happened the first time. Get a call a few hours later saying its done again and I can come get it. Problem not fixed. Bring it back again and in conclusion they didnt know what was wrong and gave up, and told me good luck. Great waste of $190, do NOT come here.

Very bad experience. Owner seemed tooEMOTIONAL could not control his temper with clients. I will 100% NOT recommended sanko. His prices were 25% HIGHER than 2 other similar shops nearby quoted.When asked for a breakdown he TOOK OFFENSE and told me he was not ripping me off. All i asked was for a breakdown of the quote, (labor vs. parts). He was not professional enough to reconnect the exhaust cables and leave the car how he initially found it. Do NOT recommend this shop!

Scammer!! Owner charged me almost DOUBLE than any other mechanic. When i questioned this, he insulted me. When i tried to apologize he said hed fix it but would charge me another $150 for the inconvenience of moving my car (from the garage to the parking area which is literally a few feet).I towed my car to his shop on saturday, making me have to stay in richmond until Monday, had to miss work, appts etc. (i drove from nyc). i later found out my problem could have been fixed within a few hours on saturday.Now, im at another mechanic shop i find out he BROKE my handle to open my trunk which to repair costs me an extra $50.So not only has this guy overcharged me, insulted me, had to deal with his irrationality, broke part of my handle BUT also wasted my time. YOUVE BEEN WARNED!

Good day ....I wont tell you about the absolutely HORRIBLE experience I had with Mercedes Benz on W Broad Street instead I will take this opportunity to share my experience with Sanko Auto Repair. These guys really saved the day not only did they diagnose the wrong part that Mercedes Benz Installed but they arranged to have that part replace by the dealer towing and all. They also had to repair another fault caused by the dealer. Lesson Learned I will take my Mercedes to SANKO AUO PARTS & REPAIR without question and I would urge you to do the same Make sure they are your first call. They really know how to take care of their customers and Follow up and Follow thru... Great Job!!!!!

These people are so rude and nasty, they fast talk you and they raise their prices sky high, I took my mercedes here in october they repaired it and I took it back on yesterday with my receipt they are so unprofessional I will NEVER take my car here again. The son is rude and nasty, they other to older men are just as worse. Whoever gave them 5 starts has to be lying, my car was ready no one called, my they quote all kinds of prices off of the top of their head, I wouldnt recommend these people to anyone !!!!!
