I had my Honda minivan service there to install a new catalytic converter and oxygen sensor, which were cut (stolen). The engine light on dashboard was on after the theft.Meineke charged me the costs as estimated. It was supposed a good sign to a customer and I paid the fee. Unexpectedly, when I drove my car out the parking lot, I found the engine light still on. Having driven for few more blocks, the warning light is still on. I immediately returned the shop for a solution. After half an hour diagnosis without any success, I was told to come back next day to switch for another oxygen sensor and I did. Another couple hours past and the certified mechanic could not fix the engine issue. Consequently, they told me that only a Honda dealer can fix the issue and called it for good on the repair as they did not charge for additional hours of labor. Now, I have to take my minivan to a local dealer for follow up diagnosis.Here is the Q? Did they check if the job was completed before they asking for a payment? Absolutely not! They know their limits but at least a customer is informed first before asking for a payment and had to return the next day without any positive result.

The service was really good and I like that they got me in the same day 11 03 21 and a quote me the time that it will be finish I like that the atmosphere was positive I asked question with other service they have and they explain to me what they have which I like most likely I will be back for the service

The work was completed on time, and at a great price.They forgot to provide an oil change reminder sticker, and my brakes are squeaking now (could be from changing the fluids) but all in all, im happy.Sticker... Ill pick up, and I am more confident in my old van with low miles. Will definitely use in the future.

I was told my catalytic converter needed replacing by mechanic, but when I took to Meineke they did not find anything wrong with my catalytic converter. They said it was my spark plugs and coils that needed replacing. They are genuine people that are trying to help customers.

Came in for a Standard Oil Change. Made the appointment online. Showed up a little early, Jake the manager greeted me. Took all my information and included my coupon for $19.00 standard oil change. I waited in the lobby while the service was performed. I like doing this because it gives you the opportunity to really see how the business works and the customer service. Jake handled every situation with knowledge and a friendly attitude. Was up front about services and didnt over guarantee the time the work could be done. He was helpful and very courteous. My service was done in about 25 minutes. Jake even called me by my last name. We chatted about a place we mutually visited, it was a great experience, in and out. I highly recommend going here if you need services. Jake will do you right!

I came in for an annual Uber vehicle inspection and unfortunately failed because of a tail light was out. Luckily the mechanic working that day (whos name I unfortunately didnt catch) was nice enough to replace it on the spot so I could pass the inspection, and went so far as to only charge me the cost of the $3 bulb to make it happen. Was a great experience overall and Ill definitely be coming back for future maintenance on my car

I took my 2006 Scion in to have the AC checked. The air was smelling a bit off and I didnt think it was working quite right. They couldnt find anything wrong and they put in the new cabin air filter that I had left in the car. All for no charge. They also explained what they did to check it out and let me know that the air filter should help a lot. I will be back.

Had to get my duragano to Vancouver, it took awhile to get the job done but they fixed it all, no hassle. Even though they did have problems with another customer but that was literally on the customer. I spent more than I wanted but everything worked and got it there safe and then some. STAY AWAY from this place. it was the worst experience i have ever had. they had no idea how to properly diagnose my van when i got it towed there as the closest location when it overheated on the freeway. after telling me it would take 2 days to repair it took ONE MONTH because employees kept getting sick or had family emergencies. Then, they called to tell me that WHILE THEY were fixing it- they blew the head gasket and they were unwilling to repair that. Likely, the mechanics there had NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING. After making an agreement to keep my van in the bay they werent using until I could make arrangements to get it towed away- THEY GOT IT TOWED with less than 24 hrs notice over voicemail. honestly, they all seemed like they had substance abuse issues and poor professionalism from the beginning to end. This was on a Chevy Astro van, one of the most classic repair projects out there. DO NOT trust these people.

I was on a quick trip to the Seattle area and overnight my catalytic converter was stolen. Called these guys and they said they’d be able to help. Once I got there they quickly diagnosed and fixed the car within a few hours allowing me to get back on the road. My impression of the manager of the shop was that he is a stellar guy: honest, humble, and kind. Don’t hesitate to take your car here.

Worked with a gentleman by the name of Allen. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Got my issues diagnosed and less than 12 hours I had a major suspension/steering issue that was fix and back in my possession. 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service! Absolutely phenomenal service. Took my car in on a Saturday morning around 11am and was offered an appointment for Monday or Tuesday, but then was told it could get done same day but wouldn’t be finished until 6pm. Not a big deal, as it’s a Saturday, so I took it and left. My car was finished by 2pm. I was shocked at how quick they were and the exceptionally cheap and affordable price. I will definitely be returning for future services on my car, these guys rock!!

Went in for a coolant leak, was told instantly that it was a $1,700 repair... They charge $150.00 per hour for labor. They first had to fix that part....just to tell me it was my water pump.They never did the full inspection like I requested them to do, to know if my vehicle had any other issues.I will not use meineke again unfortunately

Would give zero if I could. Made an appointment for a valve cover gasket and vehicle inspection because I was selling the car. Told them I needed the car back by 2:00 to get to work on Friday when I made the appointment and when I dropped it off. I call at 1:30 before I take an Uber to get there and they say its not done because they ordered the wrong part. They say it will be done by end of day. No choice but to take another car to work, but they dont know that I have another car. I stop by next day at noon and they say its still not done. I have to go to work so am forced to leave the car there again the next day. I reiterate that I need a vehicle inspection and some specific items the buyer would like looked at. I finally come back on Monday to get the car and the guy says he didnt do a vehicle report because they had one on file from 3000 miles ago. I look at the report and say, this is dated 4 years ago. He tries to tell me that the illegible hand written notes on the greasy paper is my inspection report. Im literally trying to spend money on a report and they are giving me handwritten notes that I can barely even read. There are greasy handprints all over my bumper and door handle and oil splatter on the cowl. Im steaming mad so I leave and call and ask top speak to the manager. They say he is not there and take my number and he will call me back. They dont call me. So I call them, they act like they didnt know I called. Long story short, the regional manager is there and the one I dealt with most of this time and straight up lies to me. He says he said he would try to get the car back to me by 2:00 and that the handwritten notes are the inspection report. Like a buyer of a used vehicle who asks for an inspection is going to take that. What a huge waste of my time. On a separate note they are that shop that inflates their hours billed and marks up parts 400%. $50 for a valve cover gasket!!! Its a trash company with a trash Regional Manager. Stay away, I know I will.

I took my vehicle in because I was told I needed $800 worth of work by another mechanic and wanted a second opinion before I spent that type of money. Come to find out the work wasnt necessary at all. Its hard to find honest mechanics out here & Im truly happy I found a new place thats trustworthy with my vehicle. I called Meineke mid week and talked to Allan. He gave me a quote and headed there. After his review, he informed me I needed more work than what was originally thought. In two days, I got the car back. The only reason for the wait is due to the part is limited, so no wrongdoing on their end. Allan was professional, honest, and showed upscale customer service. My car is foreign too! Most increase the prices or try and up charge you. If you have a German car and don’t want to pay a premium or wait at the dealership, come to this location! Allan will take care of you. For sure, if I have any other mechanical issues I’m coming here. And I’ll recommend this location to anyone.

Custom repair job, I asked for an estimate and Allen said he could take a look but no guarantees. He called me later that day and said it’s all fixed. He was very passionate about his work, told me all about his process. That’s someone who cares about the quality of their work.

Also going to echo that the review from Katina should be 100% disregarded. I have never seen an adult act as childish as she did this afternoon. Throwing cups of pens and business cards everywhere, swearing RELENTLESSLY at the manager. It was truly embarrassing to watch. And for the record she wasnt even wearing a mask while she was yelling so... A Karen indeed. I commend Allen for how handled the situation.Regarding the reason I was at Meineke in the first place - Im a bicyclist and I had a jammed crank I was unable to get off my wheel. I called Allen to see if he thought they could help, and they quickly took it off and sent me on my way. Keep in mind this is an incredibly weird request on my end and something Im sure theyll never be asked to do again, but Allen didnt care, he was just happy to help. Finding a place to bring your car that you trust will be fair and honest can be difficult. Allen and his team at the Renton location we incredibly helpful! I came to this location after being misdiagnosed elsewhere and Allen had my car fixed in a day and was professional and kind through the whole process. I recently purchased their full synthetic oil change package, which is supposed to include tire pressure check, fluid top off, and tire rotation. Although it was reflected that they did this in the invoice, after I inspected the vehicle, it was clear that they did not. That makes me wonder if they even did the oil change properly, if at all.

On a Saturday my car went into limp mode on the freeway and I had to find a place closest to me. I’m from out of town and was staying at a nearby hotel just through Sunday. I call this location right away and get in before 3pm. I wanted the scan and diagnostic done just to see what was wrong with my car, nothing else. I made it clear I wasn’t from the area. I give them my keys having complete faith that by 6pm they will know! Although, I know it shouldn’t even take that long to do a scan/diagnostic. 6pm hits and I don’t hear from them...so I call and call and no one answers. The phones had already been turned off! I call multiple times to finally get a call center rep that tries to leave a message as well. Then she tells they are open on Sunday. I asked her “Is it professional and policy not to call a customer about their car”? She said “absolutely not”. So frustrated..I had to wait until Sunday to find out something about my car that was at a shop overnight that I did not give permission to keep. Sunday comes..I call and call again and nothing! Call the call center again then the rep tells me they are closed..So I tell her my situation and she transfers me to corporate. They call and tell me they will have someone on it and call me back. Sunday I was to head back into town where I live and thankfully had someone to take me by the shop to see where my car was. It was ON A LIFT WITH THE HOOD UP!! Hadn’t even been DONE! Completely ridiculous! I get back into town, I live almost an hour away! Wait to hear from corporate on MONDAY..I still call and call the the second they open..CHIP, finally picks up the phone an hour later and acts like nothing is wrong and states he is stilling on my car! I told him “why didn’t you call me to come pick up my car”? I didn’t want them to do ANY work..I just wanted my car back! I told him I need it delivered because I’m now almost an hour away and can’t reach my car! WTH?! He says “it’s outside and $144 dollars”! Then HANGS UP THE PHONE ON ME! I called corporate again and I’m currently waiting. I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH ANY SHOP THAT WOULD TREAT A CUSTOMER LIKE THIS! CHIP, has the worst customer service and Meineke should really be more aware of who they hire and keep responsible of their shops. I will NEVER EVER step foot in a Meineke AGAIN!!

Really great service. I came in for an oil change and they advised me on some filter replacements I hadnt done in a while. Since my car has been mostly parked lately due to Covid-19, they found evidence of rodents nesting in my AC, cleaned it out, and gave me advice on how to prevent it from happening.Really happy with the service and price. Ill be bringing my car back here when I need any kind of repair.

This place was awesome! It was admittedly my first time at an auto shop without my dad. I nervous about handling this alone as a young woman with ZERO knowledge in cars.These guys were so kind!! I was almost jealous of how happy of people they were, especially in hard times like this. The manager was so kind and knowledgeable to every single person who walked in that door from early in the morning at 8am to their closing time, around 6pm. I got there at 8am and they helped me right away and made me feel very comfortable! The manager seemed to really love talking to customers and helping them with anything they need. Even if he didnt have what customers were looking for, he would give great recommendations on where they could receive help else where. He saved me almost $200 in repairs and even attached a coupon to my order for my oil change. I will definitely come back here for any car maintenance I need in the future. I didnt get his name, well he said, but I missed and was too anxious to ask for it again. But I know he was the manager! Great service, hospitality, and reliance!

My husband had told me that he’s going to take our car to this mechanic instead of the dealership or others in the area. I was a little skeptical but I know he knows what he’s doing when it comes to our car. Allan and the crew their had treated my husband good, didn’t try to increase the price or upsell other services, and they treated our car professional but completing the work in a timely and professional manner. Brought my car in to have brakes repaired since I felt some slipping on hills, but they explained to me that there was no issue. Brakes were still at 60%-80, and I was probably just feeling the ABS kicking on. It would have been relatively easy for them to take advantage of the situation, so they have earned my trust for the future.

I truly don’t think I can tell you of a better customer service experience. I brought my car in last minute bc I had a completely dead battery and these people helped me right and were so nice and caring to me and made me feel like they truly cared. I recommend them for sure. A little pricey but the best customer service I’ve ever had.

I took my car here because my brakes were making a horrible noise and I was convinced that I needed to replace them. After completing the free inspection the manager told me that my brakes had lots of life left on them and took me to the car to show me. They cleaned them up and no more noise! Amazing.This place is super honest, clean and friendly. I highly recommend it.

New manager Allen L is extremely unprofessional. He didn’t listen when I was explaining my car issue and interrupted me multiple times. When the issue was not identified he shoved my keys back in my face. He called me later to schedule me again even though they already had my car for an entire day. He then hung up on me when I said that he was being unprofessional. So I came in to ask for the information of his boss and he refused and said he didn’t have time for this. Also, they don’t like to wear their masks here.

Allen and his techs helped fix a problem with my parking brakes following a complete brake job done at another Meineke in Bremerton free of charge. Meineke Renton really stands behind the work done at any Meineke center which eases my concerns; something that is rare to see these days.

Although it took a long time, I felt (at first) they did a good job. The car rides well.However, they could not complete the repair. The driver-side rear camber is off by 2.1 degrees. They claimed a shim was needed to complete the job properly, but they are convinced my car will be OK without significant tire wear.NAPA auto parts does not have the necessary part anywhere in Washington. Burien Chevrolet does not carry this part either.My question ... why does a front-end shop not have these shims?Bottom line:#1 - I doubt I can find these shims.#2 - I also doubt that Meineke will refund my money so I can have my alignment completed at another shop.I guess I am stuck. The referral to Meineke from Costco has not helped me.Harold Hawken

Looong wait, even with scheduled appointment.Got there at 10am for my scheduled appointment and noticed a sign that said something along the lines of “your scheduled time just means someone will see you up front, it’s not a guarantee of your finish or start“ Or something like that. Well I should have listened because my car didn’t even get pulled into the oil change spot until about 11:05 am, and I didn’t get out of there until 11:30am. Nice people, but paying 75 dollars for an oil change that should take around 10-15 minutes (I understand that they do a 23 point inspection, and rotate the tires, but I didn’t have them rotate my tires so it would be faster) and having the whole process take a little under 2 hours was not worth it.

Called on a Saturday late morning looking to get a couple of exhaust tips welded on., Teddy said they were full but to bring it in at 4PM and he would fit me in.When Teddy looked at my job, I knew right away I came to the right place! He spent a good bit of time making sure the tips were straight and had an even reveal. Im pretty particular and it put me at ease when I watched how much effort they were putting into making it look perfect. Took them about 20 minutes to weld up both sides. When he was done he said have a great day and didnt ask for a dime.I was thoroughly impressed with the job they did and my new tips look Great!

Working in the hospitality industry for the past decade Ive come to realize what separates the people that are simply working a job and ones that are absolutely crushing their passion. The guys here have demonstrated the latter for the past three months as weve been working on getting my 1992 Ford Ranger back on the road. Knowledgeable of the issues at hand, they talked me through what it would potentially take to fix my truck. Its not often that you find mechanics that are honest and willing to give you the knowledge necessary to make an educated decision on what to do with your vehicle. I highly recommend coming into these guys!

FIrst of all let me state that the most recent review from a Katina is false. I was in the auto center that day, she came in upset, frustrated and very rude, yelling and screaming. Allen L the manager was trying to de esculate the situation. Her childish actions and knocking things off the counter and throwing things around while cussing at the manager, were extremely uncalled for. NEVER have I been to a place where I have seen a customer act in such a threatening manner. All of the employees wore their masks and were following covid protocol the whole time, so I have no idea what shes talking about in reference to employees not wearing masks . This is what we call a KAREN! And Allen L should be commended for his ability to try to de esculate the situation!

Fantastic service! I brought the car in on a Saturday, letting them know that I needed it back first thing Monday morning as I travel for work (they are closed Sundays) . Teddy let me know they had the part in that I needed and would be able have it completed by the end of day. I also had the tires and brake pads replaced. They quoted a reasonable price, and were able to get the car fixed and back in my possession at the end of the day as promised. They were very professional and helped me in a tight time turn around-highly recommend.

My husband brought his truck here today for an oil change and back brake job. The tech called to tell us it would be $1300 for the brakes. WHAT?!?! The truck was inspected 2 months ago before our cross country move, with no issues to be found. We decided to just proceed with the oil change, which was a little pricey as well. Anyway, after we picked up the truck, we took it to another shop who said we did NOT need the up sale Meineke was trying to sell. Brakes done for $390. Short story...this store appears to want to be dishonest and deceiving. They will NOT be getting our business again.

I have been going to Meineke for some time and have notice management continuous to change. However, they co to ours to provide puntual, friendly, and knowledgeable service. This time, was not as before. I had an appointment at 11am and my car was not done u til 2:30pm. Who the heck takes that long to do an oil change. I always believed you made appointments for a reason. No other service was done either. This was upsetting and time consuming. Not very happy with new management.

Was not disappointed as they explained after an inspection what needed to be done in a very clear professional manner. Taurus was especially considerate of my situation and they got me back on the road in a timely manner. Recommend this shop and my car drives like new! Thanks guys!

I took my car here to get an oil change last week, my car was completely fine other than it needed it’s oil changed prior to getting it done at this location. The day after my car started messing up, the check engine light came on as well as the VSA light. About a day later those lights went off, and now a week later my car started dying while in park. Today my car died completely and won’t turn back on. I have to take it to another shop to see what’s wrong because I do not trust Meineke with my car anymore. Like I said, I had no issues besides needing an oil change before going here. Will never be going here again.

The guys at the shop were extremely helpful and friendly. however I did feel like I kind of got gouged a little bit on the $60 charge to install four spark plugs. Besides that they did a beautiful job on the exhaust and the valve cover gasket. All in all the car is running well again and sounds great happy holidays!!🌲🌲

They told me it would take a couple hours for an oil change, which has on the schedule for a week. An oil change. Looking around most their bays are empty right now. They also didnt apply the discount, which was the only reason I was bringing it to them. The new guy working the counter really didnt seem to care at all that a few hours is not reasonable for an oil change that is on their schedule. This place is going downhill since Jesse left, I would not bring my vehicle here anymore.

I had a great experience with Meineke in Renton, Wa. I have very little knowledge about car maintenance, but the person who assisted me took time to break down what I needed done based off of my last visit and why (in simple terms). They were very accommodating and my car was finished in decent time. I also saved money by using a few coupons, which was a plus. I will be returning.
