Brought my Ninja ZX6R down and Paul tuned it on the Dyno that evening and I picked it up the next afternoon. Very relaxed kick back shop. I enjoyed the vibe I got from everyone in there and Im sure if I need something and they have it Ill go there to get it.

From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like Street Rider was ready to go to work. I had not rode my Harley in 20 years. It was not street ready. Other shops said I needed a lot of unnecessary work and they were too busy to proceed. Paul was upfront and honest. Didnt try to sell me service I didnt need. The technician, Stephen, called me and discussed the issues. They eliminated the low speed wobble and the braking is now superior. The work was completed in 2 days and the value was exceptional! I will not go to another shop. Thank you!

On a ride from South Dakota back to the Bay Area I got a flat tire outside of Fernley.I had a repair kit but couldnt find the leak. The air was coming out as far as the pump could put it in.I called the Reno Harley Dealer and they said to tow it in. However when I get there they tell me they have no rear tires and it will be two weeks to a month to get one.They could have told me this when I called.. anyway.. Ill handle that in a separate review.Luckily there was a shop right down the street that had a rear tire and could get me in first thing in the morning.Street Rider of Reno took care of me quickly since I was on the road. They can do everything the Harley Dealer can do without all the attitude. I love giving independent shops my business but all the shops near my house have closed. If I lived in the Reno area Id be giving Street Rider all my business.

Had new bars installed on my 2020 Road King Special. Stephen was a big help on helping me find the bars I was looking for, and made sure the bars were adjusted right for my comfort. Definitely recommend Street Rider and will be having them do future work on my bike.

Had the guys at street rider dismount tires and pull bearings out to powder coat wheels and then mount and balance tires after. Prompt same day service. Friendly. And fairly priced. I will use them again.

Great service. Had a miscommunication (probably my fault) about when my bike would be picked up (wouldnt start) and the owner just volunteered to come by and pick it up after hours.They promptly answer calls. They seem to have their stuff together.Additionally, they did a thorough inspection the did a comprehensive explanation of what was what -- why it was done -- they called multiple times to talk things through and talk about pricing and options.Their garage is fantastic. Everyone is a hard worker and they seem like genuinely good people.

Dropped off my bike literally minutes before they closed for the night and they had my new tube installed on my rear tire before I woke up the next morning. Best price I could find. Great experience with the guys. Definitely will be back and recommending to friends.

Great customer service! Great shop all around! Great selection of tires in stock. I am from out of town and called these guys at closing time because I needed a tire, they were very friendly on the phone and set me up with an appointment first thing the next day! I was in and out and had a brand new tire mounted within 45 minutes for a great price. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in the Reno area that needs any work done to their motorcycle.

Just moved here from a much lower altitude and needed my carbureted Harley dyno-tuned. Paul got it dialed in perfect! The shop was really busy and they still managed to get my bike tuned and back to me within a couple days! Nice job!

Came here to get my GSXR diagnosed because it was having some issues and couldn’t figure it out turns out all I needed was a new kickstand spring because the original one was stretched a bit which was causing my bike to stall from N to 1st and occasionally losing power on the road. Anyways these guys diagnosed my bike ordered the part and while I went back to get it installed I thought what the hell change the oil too, I was super surprised by how quick they got the work done and by how reasonable the pricing was. These guys are skilled motorcycle mechanics and you can tell they love to ride which means they will take care of your bike definitely coming here for all my maintenance needs also make sure you contribute to their beer/bbq fund when you go these guys deserve it.

June 29, 2021: Update - Paul & the Crew bent over backwards to fix my issues and they go above & beyond, esp. before the Holiday Weekend. They are the best / thanks to Christian also!! Excellent service from the top down. Super accommodating. I purchased a set of tires for my Triumph from my winter home in Florida and they let me store them and get the full rebate. Paid for the whole lot upfront. A month and 1/2 later back in NV and got the tires installed. Great folks some of the best in town for sure.

Absolutely amazing service! Had a tough time finding someone to change the front tire on my bike as it requires hanging from straps to do it. Nowhere to Jack it up without damaging it. These guys had the perfect rack equipped with a overhead come-along that worked flawlessly. Super clean shopI added a photo of this rack. There is a sofa machine on site. They even had my oil filter in stock. Advised me they see one bike a year or so like mine. Reasonable hourly rate. There was a rack available when I arrived and they got right on it. Very quick service. I did notice they used the torque wrench on the required spots. Very thorough! Took it for a test ride and was back to me in about an hour with an oil change as well. I highly recommend this shop for all your motorcycle needs. They even stock tires.

I arrived into Street Rider of Reno on the afternoon of Monday July 1st, 2019, after encountering fuel problems with my 2016 Concours 14. As I was in the middle of a ride and heading back to Canada, Lead Mechanic Jerome and the Shop Manager (sorry, forgot his name), stayed and worked on my bike until 2030 in the evening even though the shop closed at 1730. The level of service and commitment to help fix my bike and get me back on my road trip was absolutely fantastic. They could have easily turned me away or told me to come back another day as many shops would have done. Unfortunately service like this is not as common place as it used to be. The diagnostics performed by the guys were accurate and the guidance to resolve my bike issues long term were exactly as required. I would recommend this shop in a heartbeat after experiencing the extremely high level of professionalism and dedication. Value for money was worth every penny. Thank you Street Rider of Reno for your assistance during my cross country ride, truly appreciated!!!

Great unbeatable deal, did a terrific sevice job on my Harley and everyone that works there is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Called the Street Rider of Reno shop about a new rear tire for my Harley Road King and was told I could bring it in that morning. Found the staff accommodating, helpful and friendly. Got the tire I wanted plus new brake pads (no labor charge for the pads). No surprises, no pressure. In and out in about an hour.

I have a 1985 Honda Goldwing with over $110,000 miles. I always bring my bike to Street Rider. In June 2013 I had them replace brakes, front fork seal, gaskets, shocks, tune up, carburetor tune up. It runs better and handles better than ever. They always complete it on time. I would highly recommend them.

Awesome job on my buds bike tire

The only complaint I have about this place is their “Safety Inspection” procedure. I took my bike here about 1 week ago. On my way home from the shop, I noticed that the gear leaver was getting pretty stiff; it got pretty hard to change gears. As soon I made home, I opened the clutch master cylinder to find out that the hydraulic fluid was almost black and it was clogging the system. The guy who did the inspection told me that the clutch hydraulic fluid was fine, obviously he didn’t even look at it.So, I am just rebuilding the master cylinder myself and bleeding the system out. This was something that should’ve been spotted in the safety inspection, now I’m just wondering what else could be wrong with my bike that was overlooked.Besides this, it was a great costumer service!

I have two middle aged Dynas, (I should say I have one, and my wife has one). I like to think of myself as quite handy, but lack the skills to back up my ego. So, especially on motorcycles, I defer to the professionals as I feel that there is added danger on a two wheel vehicle versus working on my old Jeep.I looked for a shop I could trust, that was reasonable and had the business sense to talk to me as if I were a human being. This wasnt as easy as you might think.I have met the owner and several employees at the shop, and they have all struck me as extremely knowledgeable, willing to explain things and even be quite honest about what is an immediate issue and what is something to monitor and to accept will have to be done at some point.Their work has always been of high quality, they deliver when they say they will, and are excellent at keeping you updated on the status of your fix.They do charge money for their services, which I suppose they must, but that is the only down side I can think of to have your bikes serviced here.

I took my 94 Softail Custom in for a new rear tire, and asked while they were at it to check the clutch out for me. I was told I needed a new clutch post haste, and was told that it would be around $380.I am working class at best, and money being tight called around for a lower price...The shop I was serviced at told me point blank it was in mint condition and nothing was wrong with it!... a call to the original owner (Just purchased used) confirmed that it had less than 2200 miles on it...One friend told me about his oil filter blowing off after a service by them.. another paid for a re-wire on his bike, and it would not start... another had the handle bars changed, and almost face planted into the front tire the first time he used the brakes.. and yet another was told he needed new forks, as the wide glide forks were not standard on a 2002 1200 Sprotser?....Rip offs!Do not trust these people at all!

Traveling to Sturgis one if my guys broke down.We got his bike to Reno and Street Rider got him back on the road in no time.

Tried to call about a simple oil change and was told i needed a completely different service. Then hung up on.

Very friendly service and willing to work with you to accommodate your schedule for weather, rides, drop off, pick up, etc. I was referred by the motorcycle gear shop in the same building as a good, reliable and inexpensive shop. Well, 2 out of 3 isnt bad. The shop rate is $85/hr and the service I had done was a little more than the price quoted by the dealer. But since Ive had bad experiences with artificial up-sells at dealers in another state, I gave these guys a shot. Great service, good work. Only argh-factor is the rather high prices (more than health care professionals with masters degrees get paid for taking care of your spine injuries.Separate Note: Be wary of and avoid any dealers, or any shop, trying to sell new tires, brakes or rotors before it is time to replace them. I had 1 Honda Motorcycle Dealer, 1 Ford Dealer, 1 Toyota Dealer and 1 Auto Tire shop tell me I was in DANGER because You only have XYZ thousands left on your tire/brake/rotor!: OMG!!! If I were a sucker, it might have worked! Not. As an engineer, I made them disclose how much they had when new, and how much at the point it was out of spec. I had only used (not how much was left, but what was used) 50% of the motorcycle tire, 40% of brake pads and rotors, and 25% of tread on 2 cars (also told me I needed new wipers and shock - 1 month after I just had them changed!), Dont fall for typical tire, brake and rotor sales scam of how much is left without disclosing how much was there when new and what the spec is for when it is worn (do the math). Not to mention the 3x safety engineering/liability/CYA margins dealers. This shop did suggest a new tire because it was going to be to the wear point in the near future but was not alarmist, exaggerating nor pushy.
