I used to avoid this store because there was a single checkout and the line was usually really long. Since they put in a self check-out station theres hardly any waiting time. I think that was a great decision by them.

I went in for 1 thing and came out with $55 worth 🤣 I havent been to the store in a long time because I moved out if the area...now moved back 8 yrs later. It was good to be able to get a lot of stuff I forgot I needed. Clerk was very helpful and pleasant. Thanks 😁

It was hard to shop considering there was metal carts blocking isles even to check out there was a cart fully loaded in the check out line, only one lady was workings and I didnt see any other Dollar General employees so the line took forever, a lot of empty /missing merchandise alot of shelves were Empty barely any makeup or nail supplies they didnt have a lot of stuff that I usually shop for so was disappointed and this isnt the first time this has happened

Some of the staff I am quite close with and they are always kind, welcoming, and helpful!I do wish they would stock the shelves more quickly so that there isnt an abundance of freight blocking isles and limiting products, but all-in-all this is a great store!

Every time I come in, Ive never had a issue with the employees or the store. Ive had no problems finding products that Im looking for. And sometimes the lines are long & sometimes there not, I guess it really depends on when & what time you go!

I love how personable the manager Bella is. I shop here several times a week bc her customer service is phenomenal.

Dollar general is my favorite dollar store. I can find basic needs as well as fun stuff and decorations for really cheap. My daughter and I love taking drips to Dollar General 😊

Was not a good experience we were quoted 2 different quotes for balloons to be filled with helium and then tried to charge 2$ each balloon only to come home and for them to fall down as soon as we got home. Also was greeted from Idk if he was security or what but he was defenitley annoying and kept talking to us and invading our space Im sure he was trying to be nice and just needs a friend but he needs to make them other places. Who was this guy? Super weird. This was my first really bad experience but it also might be my last.

The store has a wide variety of goods, its clean, organized and well stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful. Many prices are somewhat lower than most stores. They also have propane available: $20 for exchange or $50 for purchase. I (finally) found the right size trash can at half the price of other stores. I also found a grill accessory for a price I couldnt refuse. Their bagged candy was cheap enough for me to buy two bags for my candy jar at work

I was in there in Feb 2020. I was very impressed at how clean and organized the store was. There were bleach wipes ready for all to use for the COVID19 virus. The staff was very nice.

Practicing good social distance while in the store

The store hours said they were supposed to be open Christmas Eve. So like a good procrastinator I go there to grab a couple of small things needed for dinner. Arriving 2 hours before the time they are supposed to close on Christmas eve. The place is all lit up like its open, but then I find the doors locked. Tried calling their phone and get a busy signal repeatedly. Call another Dollar General to find out if they are open and get informed that I am correct the Stead location should be open, however, it appears whoever was supposed to be on shift didnt get the memo, because no one was there. The person I spoke with over the phone at the other location informed me that the manager at that location was not answering their phone or returning calls, and that were had to drive 15 minutes out of my way to got what I needed. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL on their part.

Its very convenient when I dont want to have to run all the way into town for simple things. They surprised me with their variety of school supplies.

Its a flipping dangerous disaster biggest fire hazard in Sun Valley ..yesterday the one and only checker left the front counter and line to get another costumer ice outside... We all just stood for 8 mins ...like wth...anyone want a cash register? Too much seriously owners need be fined!!

4 star They have a lot items if you are in a rush you can get there most of the time but then you get burnt the line sometimes takes forever other net you just looking for something usually you can get it

Would give less than 1 star if i could. Bought a charcoal grill leg welds broke b4 i could even use it. Tried to return very next day and they would not allow return or exchange because i did not have original receipt. Mind you the checker remembered me from the previous day but still wouldnt do anything. For 25$ they lost a customer for lif. Bravo

Its a Dollar General almost everything is five bucks or less $2 or even a $1. its a pretty good deal, your going there to grab what you need, in and out, you always save money. Store is crowded cuz they have to sell a lot of stuff, to keep prices cheap. people working there probably get flustrated cuz they deal with a lot of people. all-in-all Dollar General: not a bad deal, my experience was fine with the store and the people working.

I have been shopping at this store for two years and it remains a mess. It’s shockingly disturbing to see that this store cannot get in order. It probably would be twice is profitable if they would just simply clean it up and keep the store fresh and the shelves full. If I am the store manager or whoever the leadership is at this particular store, and I will take a long look in the mirror and I ask myself how committed am I to turning around this store. I suggest extreme ownership and a commitment above and beyond to this store and the customers that shop here. If you have to work 100 hours a week to get it in order then so be it! Your company owes this to customers and your company objectives. Get it together and be disciplined at what you do!!

Very unorganized as if tweakers run this place. They never have there receiving load unpacked and shelved so carts of products are just sitting in every aisle. New management is needed. Parkinglot is always empty for this reason folks.

So there is hardly a point going there unless you need bread or milk (because those are stocked by vendors, not the DG employees) The only time I even try going is when my bestfriend is working and I know Ill get better customer service. This place is a health hazard. There is a ton of boxes and merchandise all over the floor and you cant even go down aisles because they are blocked by merchandise and carts of merchandise. The regional manager or the district manager needs to get involved.
