Id recommend a trip to this store. As soon as I walked into the building, I was greeted by an employee who asked if she could help me find something. The store wasnt busy, items were affordable, it seems like theyre preparing for Christmas as the store had boxes of Christmas decor along with artificial trees on display. Checkout was speedy, there were three people ahead of me and I was helped within less than 5minutes.

Love this store, but the one in Sparks is closed. We went to the one in Reno on McCarran Blvd. Had fun and spent $125.00.

Guys, check prices somewhere else and compare them here, thier prices are very high for low quality products, i bought two full box springs $140 each, online big lot prices were $120, same product higher quality was $89.99 in Costco, stay alert, they are ripping off

At first I thought I got directions to an old closed store. Only 1 car in lot, and the windows were dark.Well I put my face up to the heat reduction tint and seen lights on...and Oh! Hey! There are shelves with merch on them. Found the door at end of store. There were 3 employees then they vanished! There was huge open floor area without anything. After shopping a bit, I found everything I needed. And by checkout, the open floor area had a beautiful display of summer items and patio furniture groups.Like many other businesses right now this store is open and has job openings along with new employees. But this hasnt affected this managers (Steve) cheerful, eagerness to help. Help you find something, help a new cashier learn how to ring up something, or load your car for a curbside pick up...even if that is a whole house full of furniture! Yes! I saw this man run laps around this huge store to help fill many empty postions. Its a big store with alot of heart because of him. Thank you Steve and Big Lots! Because of you, my family has new beds to sleep in tonight and places to sit and relax or eat in our new home.

Current staff provided friendly and efficient customer service. However, I was informed there was a lack of staff, due to COVID19.I was highly satisfied with the rocker-recliner chair purchased for a reasonable price.

They were very helpful and intuitive. Lots of stuff out of stock, but it shows that they sell. Just bought a bed and all things with itm that also have leasing options, with no credit check. Roughly 10% of total purchase per month. Careful though, youll be paying 200% of total by the end of lease. Better stuff and price than expected.

This is a decent overstock store. Their product lines are generally hit or miss, as they rely on getting products that were over stocked at retail stores elsewhere. Prices are usually cheaper than other retail stores, but if you know what you are looking for, it is a good idea to know what you want and what they cost elsewhere, as some items are not priced competitively. This location looks old on the inside and could be better kept up. But the staff are usually friendly.

Awsome values you can walk around the store and shop for almost anything. Say have a little bit of everything hidden away. Pretty good prices and fantastic things just to check out.

Nice place to shop for certain items. Worked here for a few months went on maternity leave and some how got fired the same month i was going to come back which would have been the end of the month. All well their loss. Lol

Good for the price. Ive had better luck with furniture from Big Lots than from big box furniture stores.

Horrible customer service at the check out. Yelling at peoples kids while she was helping me. I inquired about a price, I had 3 of the same item and they all had different prices. She blamed it on someone trying to get things cheaper and then proceed to charge me the higher price for all the items. I explained I was willing to pay the price marked on each not the highest price for each. Mind you the low price was $2.00 the high was $16.00. I felt that was a little bit too much of a difference, and asked if she could tell me what the actual price of the product was supposed to be. She said no. She was acting as if I put the stickers on the bottles. Mind you they didnt look like they had been peeled off and restuck on these bottles. It legitimately looked like they were stuck on by an employee. I left mid purchase. I can find the same things somewhere else for the same price or less and wont be treated as badly.

The store was nicely clean today. Actually spoke with friendly staff. Quite a change from what I usually experience there.

We decided at the last minute to get an artificial tree vs. a real tree and we happen to go to Big Lots. It was the best decision ever, not only did we find the perfect size tree, it was on clearance because we were a week away from Christmas! The associate that helped us was awesome in finding the one we wanted.

This place is Ok. Cheap garden decor. Decent furniture from Ashley at a fair price. Customer service is like walking into a liquor store, not very helpful.

Love it! Like most dollar-type stores, you can find some of the items cheaper at a Target or K-Mart. But there are a ton of really odd/cool items here - I could never find them all in one place. Depending on the time of year and luck, its like the Batcave, filled with potential materials for artists.Its next door to my CVS, so its the perfect place to wait for my scripts to be filled!!!

The cashier and everyone was wonderful a always, but a bit disappointed as I went in for Halloween decorations and at the beginning of September there were more Christmas decorations.

Big Lots used to be such an interesting place to go because it was full of home decor items, kitchenware, gadgets, toys, linens, art.....there used to be such a great variety. Its still worth stopping in, there are still bargains to be had, and the furniture section has nice selections at reasonable prices but its just not as great as it once was.

I walked out without purchasing my items. Its so hard to check out. The store is clean, prices are great but when you get to the register its awful. Bad service, long lines, slow process. Three employees at the register area with a line of customers that included merchandise returns and two of them are much more concerned with putting clearance stickers on toothpaste. The customer behind me pointed out to one of the employees that a box of crackers she was about to buy expires the next day and the employee grabbed it and barked Ill give it to you for ten cents. The store has to clearance toothpaste and sells nearly expired food because no one is shopping at places that create such terrible experiences. This is why I prefer self check out or online shopping, people hate to serve the public and have contempt for customers. Bye retail!

Service in the store is great. Bought furniture and opened credit account. Outsourced delivery service, delivery express is horrific!!!! Terrible customer service, utterly low quality and futile attempt (lack there of) to represent the big lots brand. And items were over 3 hours outside delivery window of 10-2. Big lots does their paying customers and brand a disservice to allow such elementary representation be part of their user experience. OTHER CUSTOMERS... I recommend purchasing from the store and arranging for your own pickup or the utilization of another pickup company (meet them at store, sign for pickup and have them take the items to your home).

This place is great if you are low on cash and need basic living items from a can of peaches all the way to a fold out couch.
