Wonderful, quaint place; love the location. I had a Frappuccino, I’m usually not a frap fan, and it was delicious! Love the decor, and you definitely have to sit in the comfy chairs on the left as you enter. I’ll want to enjoy the outside space on my next visit!

Ive only been here a couple of times and the pictures I posted (separately) were from both times. Both times Ive come here, months apart, I had excellent service and my drinks were made exactly how I like them. This time my friend got an avocado toast and he seemed to like it too. I really like the look inside here. The paintings are nice, the murals and pictures on the walls are great as well. The restroom was clean. I read that there was an issue, but both times Ive gone, the restroom has been clean. It wasnt really loud either, which is great because my friend and I were able to catch up some. All-in-all, I really like this spot.

Im from Sacramento and was looking for a nice local coffee shop.The coffee is amazing!! I got an iced Snickers mocha and was pleasantly surprised that its not too sweet.Tastes just like a Snickers. And the coffee it self is really good quality and has a great start and finishing flavor.Friendly service as well.

This was an adorable little coffee shop located in Mid town Reno. I loved their milky way iced coffee and I had a croissant with egg white, cheddar, and onions along with a raspberry muffin. It was nice and the atmosphere was soothing to take in as well.I would definitely recommend this place.

The staff were sweet and talented and quick. The beverages spot on. Not so much for the pastry but it was late. Selection and price fair-ish. Now i have to stray from the herd and say i felt the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. Wobbly table. Echo-y hall of a room with poor energy flow and a lot of dead space behind the counter. Move somewhere with more character, js! You deserve it

I love this place! Ive been a hand full of times now and this may be my new favorite place in Reno! Its a great place to get some reading/writing done and their drinks and food at stellar. This place is worth the trip! (I recommend getting their chai!).

I really want to support a woman-owned business, but the prices are high, the coffee is acidic, the food is mediocre. The decor is wonderful. Your mileage may vary.

The inside of this coffee shop is very nice and well maintained. The staff are friendly and perform their jobs well. However, I do not understand the appeal when it comes to their drinks. My mocha didnt taste bad necessarily but it was not good and did not taste anything like a mocha I had ever had from any store before. Ive had mochas at normal chain coffee places as well as upscale artesian coffee bars and what I received tasted like light roast coffee and steamed milk with nothing else. Maybe Ill try again in the future.

One of my favorite places to go! I try to avoid caffeine for health reasons, and yet there is always something delicious and new for me to try! They have a good selection of food too. Everyone is so friendly and I love admiring the local artwork for sale while I wait. Also a great place to find a realtor if you are new in town!

I really enjoyed my snickers coffee and breakfast sandwich here. The vibe is relaxing. There is a whole wall of windows at the front for plenty of natural light, as well as some comfy chairs. The chairs at the tables are a little uncomfortable for someone with hips (lol). The WiFi is fast and the people are friendly, too!

First time here, the beagle sandwich was okay I liked their Lavender Latte, it tasted a lil more toasted but definitely could taste the lavender at the end. The ambiance was pretty chill and like a perfect place to come read a book or study since it’s pretty quiet 👌🏼👍🏼 the only thing I didn’t like was how the cashier when I paid she didn’t say thank you, your order will be right out or something. She left the area as soon as inserted the card 😅 And I was like Okay 🤔 cause they have a sign that says something like “enter as a stranger, leave as a friend “ obviously I know I can’t take that literally but come on, a thank you will do 😏

This is a good coffee shop. The coffees have good flavor and dont burn a hole in your stomach. Not to be funny but I bought a homeless guy a cup and he too complemented the flavor; so there you have it. Had a bear claw also. I was impressed with its refined pastry consistency with nice understated flavor. We greeted on the way in and out. Nice people adequate and comfortable seating. Go for it.

One of the friendliest coffee shops Ive been around. Fast service, they come out to clean the tables (yes!). The space at first blush seems like a typical coffee space but when you start to think about it, everything from the tables to the art to the seating and the counter is generally superior to most other spots in Reno Ive been to. It has a sort of general store vibe. Can get full but I go early and its often quite quiet. The music is coffeehouse and yet oddly seems unique in a new world of playing terrible music at cafes (I can think of a cafe across the Truckee specifically that fails to conceptualize ambiance). After all that, the coffee options are varied and well-done.Frequent buyer punch card (yes! Remember when cafes werent just out to make money?). Highly recommended, best place Ive found in the downtown area so far.

Location and atmosphere are great. The girls inside were sweet. The hot chocolate I ordered? Mediocre. It was literally a small cup of hot milk with sugar, there was nothing hot chocolate about it. It’s honestly way over priced for what it is.

OMG!!! My husband and I tried this place today. Best Hot Chi Tea Ever!! We will be going back soon. This area of Reno is really turning out very nice. Love it!!! Cannot wait to try the Restaurants in this area soon.

Super cute coffee shop! Great atmosphere, great coffee, great service. Our barista was very friendly and gave nice recommendations. The decor here is really cool, especially the table made from a bike! I tried the pumpkin mocha latte and it was tasty, although I think the mocha kind of hides the pumpkin flavor. Overall though this place hits all the marks on what one wants from a coffee shop. Located in midtown so parking can be a beats but we didn’t find any trouble when we were there.

Visiting Reno for work and so glad to have found JoStella Coffee! Beautiful little cafe with immensely kind, friendly, and generous owners/staff. Hang out here if youre in town. I loved the White Spicy Peach tea.

Great local coffee shop! This was our first visit today and was greeted like we have been coming in for years. The owner made our drinks for us then later was sweeping the floor while we reminisced about the buildings previous life as Delmar Station :) Its nice to see an owner so engaged with her business. The Americano I had was perfect, the right amount of strength for me. My daughter had a peach smoothie which she said was the best smoothie she has ever had. She is only 8, but I did have to check it for poison and it was a damn good smoothie. We will be back again.

We decided to give a try. Cute neighborhood coffee shop with a unique vibe, and counter like outdoor seating. Our coffee and chai tea were average.Service was ok. It was really really quiet, so we felt we needed to talk at a low whisper.We will likely give another try. It is a nice neighborhood establishment with a warm cozy feel. Hope it stays around and grows to be a favorite for many locals in the area.

Excellent lattes. Oat milk is available on request. Their brewed coffee is very good too.

Very cute coffeehouse in Midtown with a good environment. I sat at a table near to the owner as she hosted a meeting. In this meeting, she discussed being a Christian and her heart for the elderly. It was very sweet to hear the compassion in her tone. Once the meeting had ended she went back behind the counter. An older homeless man walked in and she fixed him a cup of coffee. There was a definite change in her attitude as she dealt with this man. She had a disgusted look on her face and quickly ushered him out of the shop. This man did have an odor and I do not know the extent of her interactions with him, yet it was disappointing to once hear the owner discuss with such passion the care she has for people, then for her to display a total lack of compassion and kindness and for her to let her true emotions be openly displayed on her face for the entire shop to see. While the shop is sweet and the coffee is good the values and mission of what a Christian owned shop could accomplish were lost through that interaction.

I like this place. It has good coffee and a decent selection of baked goods. Its never busy when I go so I cant comment on that. The decor is good as well and feels very comfortable. An excellent alternative to SB. If you are into supporting local and not huge evil corporations.

I used to go here when it was Dreamers. Recently, I stopped by and had a Milky Way coffee (it was OK, not impressive). Since the new owner and new design its now exactly like every other coffee shop. Jostella went all sophisticated on us instead of keeping that funky cool vibe I loved so much.

Stopped by JoStella Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Both times my partner and I were greeted with awesome customer service by the wonderful ladies behind the bar—a welcome change from other unfriendly coffee shops in Midtown. The welcoming and inviting atmosphere, wonderful coffee, and friendly service makes the place a must-stop/regular on my list! Plus, the cheesecake bites are awesome.

This is my favorite coffee shop in town. They serve the best smoothies I have ever had. The employees are super friendly. I was a bit concerned when they bought out Dreamers (which was my favorite), but decided to give JoStellas a shot. Im glad I did.

You just have to indulge yourself and buy some take-out from JoStella. I had a Beri-Beri smoothie and an AvocadoToast for lunch today. Mmmm good!!!🥰

Normally I dont write reviews very often about cafes as they all kind of seem the same to me, in a sense that they all serve sandwiches, fancy sodas, coffee and tea. However this particular establishment stands out from the rest in the vicinity of downtown Reno, mainly for two reasons. 1. They showcase beautiful fine art on their walls; done by local artists Im guessing. 2. Theyre coffee is alright but what I found really distinctive was that their sandwiches are absolutely delicious and taste fresher than something you would get from a franchised cafe. 3. The employees are very sociable and dont pretend to not notice that youre in there. Awesome place! 5 stars!

Very laid back environment. Comfortable worn in chairs. I had a strawberry smoothie that was very refreshing. Some people across from me ordered breakfast bagels. Seemed awkward for them as they didnt have a table and did not receive napkins with their food.

My friend and I get coffee a lot, we were looking for a new place in town and ended up here after looping around reno several times, arriving at closed or shut down coffee shops. We ordered and the man at the front was super friendly, he customized our drinks for us and honestly, it was the best coffee I had ever tried in Reno. We waited for our bagels and after about ten minutes (with several other people in the shop) I heard the song At last by Etta James come on the soft playing radio. He set the fresh, delicious looking bagels on the table and we took our first bites into heaven. The shop was zen and peaceful with cute little signs around and a book shelf with varying books and comfy chairs nearby. To top it off, on our way out a sign read, Thanks a latte.Perfect. Definitely going to try their smoothies and other bagel sandwiches!

Ive been going to Dreamers since they originally opened in the Riverside. There are a couple other good places for coffee, but Dreamers is the best. Theyre friendly; their prices are reasonable; their sandwiches are great; the pastries are usually good; and of course, most importantly, their coffee is the best in town.

Not the best parking, but a good place to hang out in midtown. The back has some comfy chairs and lots of stuff to read laying around.
