The staff is always friendly, the decor is very interesting, and its just an overall welcoming place. If youre like one of the people that gave this place a one star review because they hate cops, yet go to a law enforcement themed coffee shop and see a *shudder* cop, then you wont like it. 🤔

I wish I was able to support you the way you support Americans rights to not wear a mask. Unfortunately your are not located on my route to work and I start at 7 which doesn’t allow me time to swing by beforehand. Otherwise, I would be there every morning simply because you are standing up for people’s rights.

We went in for coffee and tea and like before, people were welcoming and great and fast! They take pride in what they do and they love our community, our law enforcement officers, military members, veterans, everyone. Including animals!Great atmosphere, you can strike up a conversation with anyone and it feels like home. Eventually we will try everything on the menu. Highly recommended.

The opposite of Starbucks, thank God! Great locally-owned coffee house with a unique goal: To bring together first responders & the community they serve over a great cup of Joe. The coffee is rich, strong & hyper-caffeinated! Everyone is celebrated here: police, fire fighters, EMTs, active military, veterans, hospital workers...and all of us, the folks these people risk their lives for. If you respect & admire first responders, this is a great place to show it. Kudos to the owner for creating a place where we can kick back, give back & drink awesome coffee!

Overpriced. Ok, no biggie, I just needed to do some work while traveling. Then I started looking around. Apparently this is a propaganda shop. There’s a sign on the door telling you to wear a mask, then a hand written amendment telling you they won’t enforce it if you won’t wear a mask. Oh look, I’m working next to a chalk outline of a liberal! I guess it’s cool to glorify murdering people if you don’t like their politics. Two examples of many.This place is gross.*8.13.20* amendment as a result of the owners response.I added a second picture to clarify how I came to the conclusion that the dead guy is a representation of a liberal. Spoiler alert: Code Coffee put a label on him. A picture is worth a thousand words.I guess I just dont think the glorification of murdering liberals (or conservatives for that matter) is having a good time and a good laugh.

Hi i went to this place expecting something great but i got a slap in the face, the people in there were rude and i caught someone put their fluids in my coffee. i will never return again and i expect everyone to do the same. when i got home i cried because it was so heartbreaking.i wish i could put zero stars. i even saw a PIG across the table from me. ps blues lives aren’t real💙 also wear your damn masks

Not a cafe. Simple coffee (drip) and odd menu. Pretty pricey for what they offer. If you havent sorted it out, this shop is catered towards LEO/FD/First Responder types, which is awesome to give them a space to relax! Thats why they still get some stars. Lemme know when the coffee scene gets updated and well give it another shot.

My GF and I got a couple cold brew coffees. The flavor was reminiscent of burnt newspaper laced with arsenic. Two stars because we didnt die.

Very aware of what they mean by saying constitutionally compliant but also very aware that they have not read, nor understand, the constitution in its entirety (including Bill of Rights and amendments because the 300 year old document is pretty outdated to say the least).

The blonde girl that works here in the mornings on some weekdays is beyond amazing with her customer service, ability to handle multiple customers and get them their coffee quick and it tastes amazing. I am originally from the Seattle area and as everyone knows we have coffee places on pretty much every corner and our known as coffee snobs and I havent found a coffee place I like except for Starbucks in Washington or in Nevada until now. This girl makes Starbucks coffee a 1/5, compared to the coffee she makes which easily exceeds 5/5, hot or iced it doesnt matter. Her coffee is always consistently good whether she has a long line or not. She is the reason I gave up Starbucks and will only come here now instead. Plus she lets me grab my own straw for my drink which I love because of cleanliness. The lady today 2/7/20 who wasnt the blonde girl put a straw in mine and I have to be really careful about with germs so I replaced it with my own straw which wasnt a big deal but just would be nice for her to know.

I tried this place three different times now The first time was definitely a five-star visit one of the best coffees Ive had the second time I got the exact same coffee and it tasted off slightly burnt. The third time that I got coffee here it tasted like water so overall I think three stars. Its cool that they have a program for uniform services.

LOVE Code Coffee!One of the best coffee shops in Reno. Drinks are amazing, WiFi is super reliable if you need a spot to work, and the employees are so kind.My favorite drink is actually their RedBull Pina Colada drinks served with coconut milk, sort of odd, but seriously SO DELICIOUS.Also their iced vanilla lattes never disappoint.Outside seating on the patio is super cute!And to top it all off, they give back to our local first responders.

Not only is the coffee delicious (the lavender white mocha tastes like eating feathers from an angels wings), the atmosphere is amazing, and the owner and her staff are phenomenal! Its my favorite place to meet for a long chat or pop in for a quick cup to go!! They even have yummy food options. The only downside is that I got my daughter hooked on it, too, so now I have make sure to get her one;)

My brother and I stopped in here as it was listed as a place to go. It wasnt. The people behind the counter were rude and inattentive. I ordered a bold mocha. It tasted of a watered down, powdered hot chocolate mix. I liked their attention to first responders, but nothing about this place does them justice. I wont be returning and would advise others not to waste their time and money

My fiancé and I love Code Coffee! He is a firefighter, so naturally we love the focus of the coffee shop! The coffee was also so good — we got the Irish themed special when they had it in March and loved it!

Not only is this place tacky an embarrassing but the coffees are way to over priced for how terrible they are, obviously dont know anything about good coffee. Youd be suprised if it doesnt smell like bacon when you walk in. Clearly if I knew the theme before I went I would have never gone. Im sure the business will do well due to the the bigots that need their daily dose of extra strength to be horrible. LOOK OUT RENO NOE THEIR ENERGIZED

This is by far one of, if not the best, coffee place in town.Upstanding employees, upstanding principals, outstanding coffee. All standing up for our officers in blue (or green, or grey).

I wanted to love this place. The people were super friendly but the coffee is not fabulous.

The facility was clean and the staff friendly. They serve a good cup of coffee. I especially like that our first responders are honored.

Coffee shop focused on honoring those to serve our community (20% discount for law enforcement and military).Brewed coffee is great, they dont offer espresso but they do have a milk steamer.They do offer some pastries and muffins, also have a chalkboard with, what I assume will be some rotating specialities. Currently on the chalkboard: egg bites, breakfast burritos, humas and pretzels, and chili cheese dogs with chips.There are restrooms but its shared with the other suites and there are no directions as to where they are, some signage would be helpful (restrooms are to the left, down the hall). There is also a patio but I was locked out and had to walk around the building to get back to the shop.Overall, Im wondering if this is trying to be a coffee shop or a diner. Not enough food for a diner but no espresso machine to be a true coffee shop. Theyve only been open less than 2 months so I have great hope for them. I love what this place represents but its lacking in its execution.Will definitely come back to see if improvements have been made and will update my review.

Love this place! Coffee is excellent and as they continue to grow and offer more good stuff I will be there! It is great to have a place that is dedicated to first responders and makes us feel welcome without pretension. To those that make the comments about our law enforcement professionals being bigoted: I work closely with these men and women on a daily basis and it couldn’t be further from the truth. Instead of saying the place smells like bacon, grab a cup of coffee and actually talk with them. You might be surprised. It is also great to see our local Fire and EMS agencies getting some love as well. Great job Destinee, keep it up!

I cant even explain how well this business serves our community, and its customers. When I came in, I was immediately welcomed, and when I had no idea what to order they were quick to make a recommendation. The apply pie chai was fantastic, it had just the right balance of sweet and spice.Most of all you can absolutely tell that they spend a great deal of time and effort thinking about how to love their customers. All the way down to the cup lids that have built in stoppers to prevent you from accidentally spilling your drinks. I cant even tell you how many times I have splooshed my Starbucks coffee a little bit when going over a speed bump.I can not recommend this place enough! Thank you Code Coffee
