Very nice store. I don’t usually shop at this location. Scott in produce was a pleasure.! Not only did he greet me, he gave me a great tip on how to cook the Shiitake mushrooms. Upon leaving, I overheard Teresa tell the young man (wrapper) not to do what he wanted to do, but what she told him to. I was about to say something, but I kept it to myself.! And posted a review instead. Wrong choice of words speaking to someone who has “clocked in” just as she has.

I love this location. Sadly not all Ralphs are created equal. Very friendly staff, clean store, clean restroom, and fresh everything. Lots of what I want is there too. I drive out of my neighborhood and pass several ones just to shop here.

Shout out to Nya the super cashier who had the pressure of a long line and a slow, inquisitive customer with lots of coupons and questions. Nya managed to remain professional, friendly and apologized to those of us waiting in line. She maintained a smile on her face and took the time to ask how I am doing. She is going to go places in life! Wishing you lots of success. Also, the store was clean, well-stocked and organized.

I have worst experience buying 1 can of light beer here.Cashier doesnt accept my international driving license and call the manager. Manager doesnt accept it too.She said i need to bring my passport. Ok. I go to home, grab my passport and go back to the store. Aaaand guess what, manager said NO again. I have the passport in my hands as proof Im 33 years old. She just said go away, leave this store! What a shame. Never had somelike experience around the world...

Always have a pleasure shopping at Ralphs, such courteous and friendly cashiers.

This larger Ralphs is in competition with sprouts and has many of the same items as sprouts. It has a prepared food area and is very clean.

The quality of baked goods is better than at some professional bakeries with great prices, amazingly fresh flavors, and a decent selection. The bakery is sometimes left unattended so its difficult to place an order but the cakes are fast, of great quality, and can be large enough to cater a huge birthday party or small enough for two.

The girls have zero customer service. Didnt even say hello.Acts bothered to take your order.

Very clean and pretty well stocked. Helpful staff. Starbucks inside, double red box outside.

Not sanitizing the carts between shoppers or the checkout . They are not at all organized at the checkout . Lines are everywhere you cant even tell what line your waiting to check out at. So frustrating. They should send someone to Albertsons and see how efficient they are running even when they were under construction. Which is done now.

Today, 1/18/21, I was verbally and physically assaulted by a security worker at this Ralphs because I asked him, as he was standing in front of the entrance, why he wasnt wearing a mask.For those who do not know, the County of Los Angeles has decreed that due to the global covid-19 pandemic and the recent surges in the number of cases in LA - all people outside of their homes are required to wear masks. I did not expect a simple question of why this person was potentially putting peoples lives at risk by not following the law to result in me being accosted, threatened, grabbed, pushing, pepper-sprayed 5 times and shot with a tazer 4+ times - all by this same person under the guise of I am law enforcement and I am telling you to leave this private property because he didnt like being questioned.I called the police and am pressing charges. I am also in contact with an attorney on filing civil suits against the security worker and the company he works for.Just so everyone know, security workers do not have the right to physically assault anyone - they actually have no law enforcement rights beyond that of a normal citizen making a citizens arrest to prevent a crime. In this case, I broke no laws, rules, or in any way presented a danger or risk to others. Whether he did not like my tone or being asked anything, or whatever the reason - his rights - vocational or otherwise - do not include verbally and physically assaulting a store customer who speaks to him.

Shopping here lately has been unpleasant. Some of the employees have been nice but others have been rude and icy when asking for help in finding items. If you are a woman shopping alone, be prepared to be aggressively ogled by the male workers there. The adjacent recycled bottle center attracts a lot of questionable people in the store and parking lot, too. I’d rather drive a few more miles to the Ralph’s on Sepulveda to feel safer and have a more enjoyable shopping experience.

And ensure the safety and to protect your customers at this time And why should customers correct other customers when employees at your location sit back and say nothing is this Ralph’s policy and to have employees harass customers for doing their job correcting people not wearing masks ? Also employees should wear masks over their faces not just half way is this also Ralphs company practices and policy? Non professional! Bad management for sure!! Unsafe location

This Ralphs is clean, and has a very good produce section. They have a nice organic produce section.Yes, they do have recently renovated restrooms.The staff there are always full of encouraging words and greetings, and go all out to help you. From the cashiers to the security guards they provide excellent customer service with a smile. You can win me over with great customer service, and a clean environment every time.

Store Manager Lisa Charlton is a very rude person.. She is also UNAWARE of her own stores policies regarding the handling of persons with disabilities.. This Store Manager forced a disabled patron to wait in line for 1.5 hours today because..and I quote.. it wouldn’t be fair to the other people waiting in line to let you go ahead of them.. A formal complaint with the ADA and The BBB will be filed immediately.. Lisa Charlton has NO business being a Store Manager! Instead of being a compassionate and understanding women... she instead chose to be rude disrespectful and combative.. Let me give you some advice Lisa Charlton.. when you are UNAWARE of your own store policy, it’s probably better to error on the side of caution and safety.

I ordered food here through instacart in late April and the cashier accidentally overcharged me $33. The driver said I had to come back in the store to get the money back on my card. I also called the store to confirm this. The female manager said come back in the store and well charge it back just show the receipt. So I finally came back in today with my receipt showing the $33 overcharge (feeling that now is safe because stores are reopening all over) and talked to the manager a bald guy named Guillermo. After staring at the receipt for five minutes he asked me to show him the charge on my card. When I told him I didnt have my phone with me he said I waited too long and they can no longer put the money back on my card. So he ended up give me store credit. Needless to say Ill never be using that card at this store ever.

Went to the location with my mom whom needed an electric chair to get around and out of the three they had. One was broken and the other two was not charged. Please take into consideration people that are handicapped and need assistance to get around the store. And none of you customer service workers could help the situation. The chairs should be placed on chargers when not in use for other customers.

Always a relatively easy shopping trip. The layout and lighting are nice, theres a great selection so I can usually find what Im looking for. The range of natural products is somewhat limited, though. The pharmacy works quickly, and they have a convenient drive-through. Theres a bathroom for customers, but you need to ask an employee for the code (I really dont like that). The checkout lines usually arent too bad, and they do have several self-checkout machines.

I also shop at Ralphs on Hawthorne Blvd frequently, yesterday for over half an hr, a 60ish man wasnt wearing a mask, after informing 2 employees & assit. Manager after 3 pa announcements, they allowed to shop & check out all the while maskless . They have the right to refuse service to anyone, so why dont they in the name of said requirements & safty???. Management has mo cahones..

The new scanner system will eventually replace the hard working people that work There and will have less jobs available for people.... I dont like the big corporate greed... They put money first over contributions to local environment and provide good paying jobs to those who need them.... Although its a great way to contribute to the homeless population

Dangerous place for middle-aged and seniors to shop. Bad face mask policy for staff.

This store busy busy busy just like most stores mid afternoon but a cool thing if you dont wanna wait in long lines or stand at self check out scanning item after item with a bunch of people behind you like hey can you hurry up of are you building a fort? Well at the entrance of the store you can grab a hand held scanner of your own. Scan an item and place it in your bag. Then when you her to self check out the machine will scan your scanner and give you your total on the machine so you can pay right there making it super easy and efficient. This store still kinda expensive so I rate a 4. Something new the scanner works for alcohol too ha.

This is a much improved Ralphs. It was recently remodeled and they have added a second bank of self checkout which I like. There are e en times where sample stands are out but not consistently like at Costco. Parking gets crazy at peak times but there is plenty of parking. Not the cheapest store but the produce is always fresh and the selection is really good throughout the store.

I have shopped at this Ralphs my entire life, from its original location where the Galleria is now, through its the Giant phase til now & today marks the last time I will ever shop here again. I go here just about every day, the cashiers know me, the people in the deli know me & today a woman I have never seen here before followed me around for a minute or two and then told me I had to put my backpack up front. I explained to her that it was my purse and I shop here every single day and I have never once had a problem. she told me she didnt care, there were signs all over the front of the store.. didnt I see them and told me again to take my backpack up front. Im assuming shes some kind of manager. I say assumed because she never identified herself as one. She was extremely rude and nasty, I have never been so offended in my life. I will never ever shop here again.

This store has the best olive bar around. The deli is friendly, clean, busy, and has nice salads and meats and main & side dishes. Since Ralphs in Hermosa left, this is the store of the diaspora at which I do my Ralphs shopping: well-stocked, nice, fresh produce at good prices; fresh meats and dairy and juices; some bulk purchase bins for nuts, snacks (cut back on the bins, replaced w. store packaged containers in the last year. Ralphs keeps the prices of household supplies low and is a good all-purpose store with across-the-board reasonably priced goods. It also has a good turnover in day-old bread, produce, and discontinued and/or seasonal items. This particular Ralphs also has a wonderful selection of indoor and outdoor plants and flowers at very reasonable prices: I usually get 1 or 2 dollar items from outside for color.

Store Manager Lisa and sales associates Teresa where a big help on getting an item that was from the kitchen appliances dept. since Brenda wasnt in at the time! Teresa checked all avenues to make sure there wasnt another one in the store and Lisa stayed after her clock out time of 5:30p.m. and spoke with us until Teresa returned!They also had Ashley help us with check out! We had a wonderful experience with the Ralphs located in Torrance!!!!!

I waited over ten minutes for SOMEONE to acknowledge my presence at the bakery counter. I had a large ice cream cake that needed to have Happy Birthday written on it. After ten minutes and calling out to the person behind the counter several times. I stepped up behind the counter and got within 5 feet of her asked if she could help. Totally blew me off.A man located 20 feet walked over and asked if he could help. I asked for the store manager and inquired if I wanted the store manager or front counter manager. I told him the front counter manager would suffice. He went to a phone and paged the manager ASAP. He is awesome. I believe his name is Thomas.The clerk walked right past me to help a customer buying bakery products - Still didn’t acknowledge my presence.The counter manager showed up and we briefly spoke before I walked over to the clerk helping the other customer. Amazing what happens when a manager is nearby.That said I told the manager what I wanted and requested she do it. At that time the clerk who ignored me earlier walk over and asked if I needed help.I then asked the manager to have someone other than this particular clerk perform request. The manager stated that the clerk was the only one who could write on the cake. The manager offered a discount.I said no thanks, returned the somewhat melted ice cream back to display case and left to obtain the cake and about $400.00 in party food down the street.I recommend staying away from this store if you require any type of assistance.Rick

This location is huge! There a Starbucks inside and a great deli/bakery. Good selection and fresh, fresh, fresh produce! I love that they have organic options too. Although the lines tend to be longer than Id like, I always am happy with my purchases.

This is a great location, lots of selections, and the aisle are big enough for 2 carts to pass each other. This is my go to grocery store. I find everything I like and the non-sale prices are good and sale prices are great. Ralphs is a Kroger store & they have lots of Kroger brand items that I like as much as (sometimes better) the name brands items for a smaller price.They have a Starbucks inside but I dont drink coffee so I dont have an opinion on that regard.I also use the bottle and can recycle on the north side of the building.Everything is very convenient, even the Ralphs shopper card gives me points toward gas discounts at most Shell gas stations in the area.

My family and I have been shopping here since i was 3. All the employees are extremely helpful and nice.

I love this Ralphs location. The assortment is quite expanded. The staff here is helpful and really does a great job of keeping the store well stocked, clean and well signed.

They are like family there. I wouldnt shop anywhere else. Ive been shopping there for almost 20 years. The prices are great too! I love love love it there! I exclusively use their pharmacy as well.

One of the most rudest Ralphs that I have been so far. I have been to this bakery multiple times and they shut down at 9:00 pm, according to the online hours. I even called them to make sure that the time is updated. There was this African American lady told me that they close at 7:00 pm and refused to serve me which still was technically before 9:00 pm! what a lair! This place is the worst Ralph that you can go to. NEGATIVE STARS !! We just dont drive out the blues to get the bakery !!

I’ve been coming to this Ralph’s for as long as I can remember. But never have I felt the need to write a review until this past weekend. The store in general is my go to, the staff is typically very welcoming and friendly, from the produce guy offering a slice of freshly cut orange slices to my girls making them remind me we didn’t put oranges on our list.But let me tell y’all The real MVP is in the bakery department! Shadei you seriously are a lifesaver. Let me tell you I am typically a planner and I epically failed to order my daughters birthday cake and i was trying so hard to improvise, i don’t know if it was the desperation in my eyes or my genuine addition that i completely dropped the ball but Shadei saved the day! She made the most amazing cake I could have ever asked for right then and there without any hesitation. It’s customer service like that and her genuine and heartfelt understanding that sometimes as parents we are a hot mess that made my day and especially my daughters party. The way her eyes lit up when she saw her cake it was the talk of the party!!!Shadei we seriously can’t thank you enough! Ralph’s great job on hiring employees! This woman deserves recognition and a raise!!!!

Pretty much what youd expect out of a big box grocery store. The place is clean and well stocked and has a pretty good selection across the board.

Well laid out but since it was two days before Christmas, parking lot was packed and difficult to find a space. Shares a lot with TJ Max and next to a Total Wine.

Cute and cozy Ralphs. Always clean, always has short lines. A Union Bank in there doesnt hurt either!

I usually love this store. It is very clean the only problem I have is that Ive had the worst customer service with a cashier named when a. She is very rude, she doesnt ask how you are doing. The first time I was in her line I thought maybe she is having a bad day. Then I get her again last night same thing. She really shouldnt be a cashier. Just rude as hell

I had a great experience at Ralph’s today. Sean in the produce section gave me a thorough run down of how kale should look when it’s healthy and it’s withering/getting spoiled. Beverly in the DelI section was phenomenal. She saw me sitting by the tables (near Starbucks) & whipped down my table abnd brought me a napkin. ALL AROUND AMAZING Experience.

Since its a bit inland of the beach this place is a bit larger and a bit cheaper than shopping along the PCH. The produce section is just alright--some weeks definitely have better selection than others--but the rest of the store is usually well stocked and carries basically all the major brands of every product.

This is not the closest Ralphs to us, but we shop here because of the wide selection of Boars Head deli meats. Otherwise the store is clean, the staff friendly, and its a well stocked Ralphs.

This specific Ralphs has an incredibly kind customer service team that actually treat their customers well. They recently re did the set up of the vegetable sections so its even easier to find what you are looking for. Ralphs sells more than food as they have pharmacy items such as medication and personal needs. Youll also find household items like cups and other kitchenware, paper towel, zip loc bags and more.

Organized, easy to get where you liked it to go, clean, more to things to buy.

This is a large, well stocked Ralphs store, for the most part.

The employees lie. I went to purchase a money order around 5pm but when I went to the customer service desk nobody was there. I asked if anybody could help me with a money order and an employee, looking annoyed, claimed they were no longer doing money orders but would not give me a specific time they stopped. I asked if they would be open the next and he said they dont do money orders on Sundays.On Sunday I called to see if they were not taking money orders and the manager said they always take money orders on Sundays. She also let me know they stop processing them at 7pm. Its clear this particular employee didnt want to be bothered to do his job, or at least find someone who wouldnt lie about it. Anyway I got my money order down the street at Walmart for $0.37 cheaper. Two starts because at least the grocery store has groceries.

The store is great but out front theres an old man with a clip board and a parrot on his shoulder is a danger. If you sign his paper or give him money hes very nice but if you dont he will yell GO FU** YOURSELF. This could lead to other more serious crimes so anyone who has a problem with this man complain to the manager or the police.

Its a great place to shop any thing I am looking for I can find it there.

I have mixed feelings about this Ralphs, I loved their pasta salad and chicken salad last time but I recently tried their chicken tacos and the meat was cold and the tortilla fell apart, which means it wasnt warmed up long enough, chicken had a good flavor and I like that you can choose what you want on it but the 3 tacos didnt seem worth the $7.
