They work good.BUT,The worker drove my car for almost 25 min and I don’t know where he went with my car spending gasoline. He was just going to bring the car to the shop from cross the street where my car was parked waiting it’s turn. No good. 🤨

Very honest shop! Ive went to other auto shops and they recommended things I didnt need to gouge money. Discount Auto and Tire took the car in, did full diagnostics, fixed everything needed done and returned within the day. Those who are not as mechanically skilled, this shop is the one for you. They were professional, honest and highly dependable!

I used to trust this place a lot but not anymore. Went in for a front brake pad change and asked to advice on the rear brake pad. They said that rear brake pads are metal to metal and would cost over $500. But little did they know that just a few days ago I took my vehicle to Toyota dealership and they said rear pads are at 5mm. Just sad to see how an honest shop would turn out like this.Update to the above review: I realized Ive been too harsh with a 1 start review. They did do a good job on my front brakes. Just giving the benefit of doubt, I updated this to a 3 star rating.

Great service returning customer they have done my brakes smogcheck and oil changes and each time they have been very professional. The service is good the work is good and Joe even explains the work being done or was completed on the vehicle. Thanks guys for your service best pricing in town.

Hit or miss with these guys. Work done here:1. Got my fuel pump replaced by them on a 2001 Civic. Tech didn’t even bother to screw down the cosmetic plate separates the fuel pump access area and the rear seat cushion.2. 2007 Honda Odessey, reservoir for power steering was leaking, they replaced it, refilled it with non-Honda fluid after front desk person said they would order in fluid. Corroded the seals with the non OEM fluid, reservoir leaks again and dripped into my horn.Over all the price was decent. Reid’s Honda is better in my opinion. Less gimmicks and more focused on doing it right. This place is more a quick lube, tire, and brake place. Too many techs not enough oversight from experienced mechanics. South Coast Auto Clinic in Santa Ana is my favorite for large repairs.

Ive been coming here for a year. I have my vehicle, my husbands and my mothers vehicle serviced here. We are never disappointed. The staff is friendly and professional! I will be coming here for all my vehicle needs

My car took 3 hours to get done,they did tell me though about 4 hours,my oil was clean and topped off were it needs to be..

GREAT SERVICE ! First time here as I had a Groupon deal for an oil change. Location a little challenging but well worth it as they are GREAT with the service. They do use texting for communicating and that is AWESOME as I am hearing disabled. There is also quite a few fast food places all within walking distance while you wait. I will use them again when I need services for my Tacoma.

Stay away dont waste your time. Visited their website and says to call for an appointment. Called but they dont do appointments. Go figure. So I said ok could I drop off my car right now and they said yes but it will take 6 hours. Got there in 15 mins to drop off my car and they said they stopped taking in cars 30 mins ago!? They couldve told me before going. Dont waste your time with this business.

Richard and the guys here were fantastic. I had a tire emergency on Christmas day and dropped my car for early bird service the next morning. I do not live anywhere near redlands so I needed my car back fast. Several hours, 4 new tires, an alignment and tire pressure sensor later I was back on my way and all for a very reasonable price. Cannot thank them enough! 100% recommend.

Nice guys, but I tried to take my 2019 Tacoma in for an alignment and was told by the tech after having the truck all day. That he “is unable to align it because it’s a 2019 and the machine only goes up to 2018 model years”. What about 2016, 2017, or 2018 Tacomas? Maybe try a different shop if you drive a semi-modern car...

Very poor customer service. No call when my car was ready. Front desk did not tell me where it was located (they park cars up and down the street as well as their parking lot) and then I had to back it out with the lot packed like tetris peices. No one to at least pull it out so its ready? Seriously? Would not return.

Everytime I try to get work done here its always something first when I tried to get tires I had a appointment at 9am I waited a whole a hour for them to say that my tires I ordered wasnt there. Then I bought a Groupon oil change coupon an they said I would have to leave my car because they were so busy got down there and it was only two car being worked on and they still were talking about that I would need to leave my car.. I will never try or give them my money or time again

Terrible experience. I went in for a smog, they told me I couldnt get one since my check engine light was on which is fine. However, they turned the light off, told me to drive for 100 miles and come back. If its on, theyll diagnose for $130. If not, they can perform the smog. They sent me on my way with estimate and recall info. The light came back on, but upon looking more into my recalls, one wasnt listed on their paper. And it had to do with the check engine light, saying it would keep coming on even if issue is resolved. Why didnt they include that recall? I dont recommend these guys. They just want to take your money and not even work on your car.

Had a Groupon coupon. It was a long wait, but honestly for the price it was not a big deal. They even added air to my tires. The check in was very easy and fast. Richard was very friendly & professional and not convincing me to add anything. I will definitely be going again, no matter the wait and will tell my friends and family about it.

Took my car to check out tires. Joe was very patient and professional. Checked out my car and confirmed nothing to worry. Did not even charge me as he said nothing wrong was found. I dropped my car off to have it looked at because it was leaking oil they found the leak and showed me exactly where it was coming from and gave me a good price and got it fixed for me!! overall My experience with discount auto was great the staff were very friendly and professional and honest id definitely recommend to people who are looking to get there cars fixed they have definitely earned my business and trust and will be coming back for my future car needs

Always great service. I brought my sons car in because I thought my son blew his engine. Rather than charge me to run a bunch of diagnostics, they checked it for free. The engine was shot. They then took my info in case one of their contacts might be interested in buying it.

Great customer service and they dont try to upsell you on a bunch of items you dont need. My brakes were in bad shape, which I was aware of, but planned on addressing in the near future. During my oil full synthetic oil change (35$ with Groupon) they informed me that my brakes needed to be changed and rotors resurfaced, and informed me of their brake job Groupon deal: 99$ for front or rear brake job, or 189$ for front and rear- thats a steal!! Needless to say I got the full front and back brake job, and they were cool enough to drive me 6 miles to drop me off at home while I waited for them to finish. I had a great experience!

Needed a new mechanic since Im new in town. Joe explained all I needed to know and let me know about their 24hr drop off using the key dropbox so I could get there after work and they could start on it first in the AM. Incredibly reasonable prices and solid workmanship (as far as I know so far). Definitely worth checking out if you need your car guys.

I JUST RECENTLY HAD WORK DONE IN THEIR NEW SHOP IN SAN BERNARDINO--I AM VERY PLEASED. -THEY HAD TO KEEP MY CAR FOR 3 DAYS FOR A MAJOR REPAIR AND JORGE KEPT ME INFORMED EVERYDAY AND PATIENTLY ASKED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS. THEY EVEN FIXED LITTLE THINGS THAT THEY CAME ACROSS THAT I NEVER MENTIONED TO THEM.THE PRICE WAS FAIR AND THEY HAVE EARNED MY TRUST. I have a Volvo and I had my regular go-to Volvo mechanic whom I thought would be better to work with than a “regular” mechanic that doesn’t specialize in European cars. But I am SO glad I tried out discount auto today. My Volvo mechanic misinformed me on the condition of my brakes and my front brakes actually were metal to metal this weekend. Discount auto got me in the same day, despite how busy they are, to replace my brakes and rotors in a few hours, even after having to order my parts from outside their shop too!In fact, I stopped in on a Sunday to inquire, came back on Monday morning to do the work, and the guy I spoke to on Sunday immediately came outside to take my keys when I pulled in, remembering exactly what I needed. I love that kind of service!!Very very efficient, professional, fast, reasonable AND I could actually sit and get my computer work done in their clean and comfortable shop while waiting.I now found my go-to car shop, and I’m sooo happy I did. Thank you so much!!

I love this place, every time I go there to get my car worked on they treat me like family. The owner Richard and the shop manager Joe Garza are always friendly. They take of my car just the way I like it, and they have an easy pay payment plan that you can fill out to help with finances. Also not to leave anyone out the mechanics are also friendly, ask them for advise and they will do their best to point you in the right direction.

This has become my go to mechanic! I have a mechanic that my family has used for years, but its just a hassle to drive out there. So try in a few mechanics much closer and the mechanics here keep winning my business. Prices are competitive and the work seems to be great.And the customer service is top-notch. Ive done oil changes, just have them do my wifes tires and alignment, and Ive had them check multiple things on my truck. Ill definitely be back.

My AC went out in my car yesterday in this 100 degree heat. 😰 I brought the car to them at 5 p.m., they checked it out and gave me a quote and I approved it. At 7:15 a.m. the next morning I got a text telling me the car was fixed and ready to go. Now my car blows nice and cold AC! 😁❄️

I just stood here for 30 minutes since theyve opened today and I came in to look for an alignment look and the desk people and they did nothing zero acknowledgment no hi, good morning, customer service is really bad they look disorganized and like a mess in there and their prices are too high I noticed zero discounts their prices are higher than firestone down the street also they are slower and service is worst than firestone so don’t try this cheap place make your vehicle safe and worth your money and time

They replaced my rotors and brakes. I forgot the original person I talked to first but George was very professional. I got a more than fair price on my breaks and rotors. Another business in Redlands charged me double for the same work last year!If your looking for an honest shop, please call these guys.They will not try and sell you anything you don’t need, they are honest, professional, and fair.

Discount Auto and Tire ripped me off. The service advisor does some sketchy smoke and mirrors sales...watch out for the pencil estimate. Hes got the routine down. Listen carefully and do not pay until you see the final invoice. Look at it carefully. Prices on the final invoice were different than quoted. I also asked for an upgrade on tires and when service was done, I got the junk tire they wanted to get rid of anyway. I will never step foot in there again. Ive been to many auto repair shops and this one was hands down the worst! BEWARE! Especially it you are a woman!

BEWARE!Quoted price is not their final price!I was quoted $660 for the tires I wanted on my wheels. When I came to pick them up, they only gave me 2 of the tires I wanted and 2 junk tires and claimed that they had told me that before I bought them. Then I go to pay and they marked the price up to $750 and claimed that there were extra charges that are not included with the initial price. I was hoping that this would be a trustworthy place for me to come back to. I was wrong, and I will not be returning.

The prices are not all that bad compare to other tire shops but when placing a call for prices and service estimates be ready to wait on the phone for a list 30 minutes because they like to place you on hold and once they answer the phone they want to get all your personal information including your address claiming they need to get you the best deal possible but after releasing all your information they give you the same price they have posted online

My husband and I have started coming here by luck since they are across the street from Autozone. They helped him out with his 86 Bronco and not a lot places know how to work on it. They just got me in and out in 20 minutes for a smog check too. Very happy with them so far!

These guys are awesome. I recently moved here to Redlands and have had a few back to back car troubles. They charge very fair and affordable prices and don’t over charge for little things. The store manager is awesome and always willing to help and talk thru things.

I love DIscount Auto and Tire Service! Only mechanic I have been going to in my 2 years at redlands. I got an alternator replaced, and when the car still gave problems, they diagnosed additional electric problems and they fixed it with no extra charge! This is the part where most other mechanics will start charging like crazy for additional fixes

My girlfriend got her brakes done here on 4/2/16. She had to wait 3 hours; which wasnt too big of a deal. When she brought it home i noticed the next day the lug nut was broken off. Over further investigation the lug nuts were put on so tightly I accidentally broke two tire irons trying to get them off. The brake pad spacer was also improperly installed as well. In the end we ended up not only paying for the brake change, but the repairs from the damage they caused and the time we lose.

Ive had nothing but great experiences with Jose and his mechanics. The best prices, turn around time, and customer service. A couple of the workers might be judged unfairly based on their unkempt appearances, but they know what they are doing and they are all very polite and honest.

Just worked on a vehicle with service records from Discount Auto & Tire Service @ 746 E Citrus Ave., Redlands, CA. Comparing their records with diagnostic records 500 miles before they serviced the vehicle and just over 6000 miles after Discounts servicing it -- identical diagnostics errors, including the CEL was intentionally removed (via a tool like a screwdriver) to hide the errors from the owner. These DTC errors would have been reported on the invoice of any ethical or honest shop, and nothing is reported. This is not a misunderstanding. The owner of the vehicle was charged for work which was obviously NOT performed. Further, the invoice has mystery charge of $226.34 for some unknown TWI (assuming this is some reference to Tire Warehouse Inc) item directly related to Engine Air Filter most expensive ever, missing bushings from after their service and/or failing to mention they were missing or that components were glued together from being broken with significant determent to the performance and operation of the engine. Absolutely, Nuts! Claimed services and parts that were not done of about $500. Doing it Right!!! = Not recommended. Not ethical. Not honest.
