I love this Dollar General, a block from my apartment so its convenient, but mostly because of the ladies who work there. Ariel is always so friendly and helpful! All are hard workers and Id appreciate DG paying, nationwide, a living wage. $7.50 is shameful. Your employees deserve better!

The Dollar General Store is the place to pick up almost anything. You can get groceries, toiletries, makeup, clothes, DIY stuff for the home and more. Conveniently located with helpful courteous staff ready to help meet your house hold needs. Plenty of parking to include wheel chair access. Go a little before closing to get in and out without a wait.

They didnt have the bathtub and sink stoppers I needed but the other dollar general did. Thought they were all pretty much uniform.

Three weeks Ive been trying to get coffee filters here. Now theres not even a spot on the shelf, I keep getting told we normally have them, they should be with the coffee normally theyre a pretty good place to shop.

Love the variety of stuff you offer. Very helpful manger and assistant mangers.

Close to home, had the basic necessities, and never crowded.

The staff was very helpful and polite even though I was with my toddler who was making messes up and down each isle she went to, this was a great shopping experience.

Like other reviewers have said, this store is a little smaller than other dollar generals. It may not be very wheelchair friendly at times (I havent personally seen racks of stock being worked on in the way, but the tight corners could be hard to navigate). I work next door, so I go in to get a snack and powerade/gatorade from time to time. I also get cards from them as theyre typically only $1 rather than $4-5. Beer is reasonably priced. Overall really convenient for me, typically fairly clean (their register is almost always crowded - by junk, not people), and friendly staff Jennifer and Heith (although Im a little biased).

Not an easy place to find something your looking for.

I love the conveince of Dollar General, if Im buying tissue, cleaning supplies, bday cards, coffee, bread, milk, etc... I would much rather run to Dollar store than have to spend an hour trying to figure out how the creator of Walmarts layout was thinking!!I do 80-90% of my shopping there and dont intend to change!!

It was a horrible...I didnt get all discounts thats promised from the dg paper and dg coupons because some of the workers and a manager doesnt know exactly how to do their job🤔

Rude rasict hillbilly employees my boyfriend use to work for them. The manager had offered a key holders position to my boyfriend multiple times (Kim) just to hire some person off the street (Tony) who couldnt even work a cash register. The store is always nasty and filthy you cant ever find anything you are looking for they need to fire Kim and the rest of them and bring in some people who will actually have the store looking right. Go to Erics store on broad Street and I promise you will never have an issue with bad customer service or not being able to find something

This store needs clean up on all aisles. Its falling behind in organization. I cant find anything in there.

I have been shopping at this store for years....for the last 6 months or more the store is awful...you cant shop. All the isles are crowded with stock clutered on the floor, or the big stocking carts every where. There are empty boxes everywhere, no merchandise on the shelves. Store is a total diaster. It is like that every time I go there . Someone from the corporate office needs to visit this store.

The Manager of the Dollar General on Dayton Blvd is very rude. He acts like it is a bothering him if you ask a question or ask for help. I hate going to this Dollar General now that Heath and Kim are gone.
