Some of their customer care policies are very poor. Example: While removing the windshield from our car they used to tool that was cutting into the edge of the glass causing small glass dust particles and glass shards to fall onto the dash, into the CD player and radio, into the heater and air conditioning controls, and into the other switches and components. When this was brought to the installers attention, I was told not to worry, they vacuum afterwards. My thoughts are isnt it better to prevent that from happening in the first place? I know when you try to vacuum that stuff you only get the surface particles and not the particles that get under the buttons or into the crevices. I feel a large cloth could have been used to cover the dash and seats to prevent those particles from getting into my electronic switches in the first place. When I brought that up with the individual from the company that called me to ask about the service I received, he sounded like he didnt care. This was just one example. When watching over how they proceeded with my automobile, I noticed about 5 areas where their processes needed improvements to provide better customer service and protect the customers vehicles. A car purchase is very large investment these days. If you are getting your windshield replaced by this company, do yourself a favor, get out an old bed sheet and cover your dash and switches before they remove your windshield. You will be glad you did. I worked around cars most of my life and I feel the level of care they provided could have been much better. They need to rethink some of their customer care policies.

Replaced windshield & corners are exposed, hope it doesn’t leak. My key fobs don’t work anymore & having electrical issues. With all these electrical safety features on cars nowadays, they should know to make sure these items work before leaving.

Very friendly, car was done in about 3 hours during a snow storm. Online payment made it so we could pick up our car same day after snow storm. They also vacuumed the car and wiped down the whole dash, which was unexpected but very appreciated!

We were here these morning and walk in to see if our windshield can get repaired although i already knew it needs a new one and just trying my luck to see if they have one for my suv available on hand. We just literally got hit by a random road debris this morning in rt76 and detoured our trip. Mike was very honest to us about our situation and gave us alternatives and options. He offered to clean the glass debris inside the car which is a great gesture for us. We didnt get to replaced our windshield here but he took the service beyond we expected. To the owner of this place you have an awesome and honest employee here.

Talked my wife into a wiper blade replacement on top of a 1000 dollar windshield replacement. Also replaced the rear wiper blade I had replaced all blades a month earlier they are the worst type of car repair people, the ones that try to sell you things you dont need.

The worst company ever, first they broke my front windshield and told me that was because of the factory glass and the glass that it had was only a year old, not honest people, they scratch your car and when you confront them and show them the scratches, they deny it, the worst place to take your vehicle, they have no respect for peoples property. They told me thru the phone that the price was $250 and when they finished the job, they told me $300. Very bad service. Not professional at all.!!

That says loads about the company itself. Thank you 4 reaching out.The price was definitely way better then most. The reasons for the 3 stars is because they told me it would take about an hour. I was there well over 2. They were closing when i left. It was super cold and when i got home my hood was scratched, glass was still all over, and nobody even came to say, hey sorry or thank you for being patient. Thankfullay the other 2 clients there getting minor fixes were polite and helped make part of the time go by faster. A little communication and understanding goes a long way. I know we all have off days but... Wow!

Windshield repair was less than spectacular. Instead of just taking off carwash sticker they maimed it so that it is stick on the new windshield and doesnt work. More importantly, the windshield camera was blocked even after I scheduled the specific inside appointment there This meant that all of my safety systems were disabled until I took it to the dealer to pay them 120 more dollars to have the windshield correctly aligned. Other than that, though, Mrs. Lincoln, the play was fine.

Truck shows up, the Safelite guys he cant guarantee the repair so my window could pass inspection. He says hes just a tech and would have to order a window and Id have to make an appointment to have it replaced.I needed this to be fixed as my car was going in for inspection today and it would not pass with this huge crack in the drivers side line of site. Getting slammed with a large rock was not on my to do list today. Total let down, I will find someone else to do this today.

Super accommodating, I had a date scheduled and it was then suppose to rain therefore, we rescheduled for a later date. Closer to my rescheduled date it was suppose to rain again so, then again we rescheduled. I was very understanding of the weather and the work that they do. Safelite did everything they could to get my windshield repaired as quick to date as possible. Christopher and Randy were extremely professional and accommodating. Outstanding is all I can say about my experience. Didn’t take as long as I expected and my glass looked great, very well done. And they even cleaned the windows and cleaned iniside my car by wiping the dash and vacuuming. Very happy.

Dayron did an excellent job replacing my windshield. Even though the vehicle was in a covered garage, he still had to put up with some heavy rains. Kudos to the hardworking man.

Made the appointment online through the websight. We arrived a few minutes earlier than appointment. The people working there checked us in promptly. They filled in the chip within a few minutes, and we were on our way. They billed out insurance directly, so we didnt have to worry about anything.

When my technician arrived, he was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and committed. In the midst of the windshield swap he was hit with a huge wind and rain storm. Working under a car port, he didnt complain but kept a great attitude and got the job done with excellence.

Price was higher than two other estimates, attitude, of employees.

Sometimes people make the mistake of not reading bad reviews of a vendor when there are only 1 or 2 bad reviews. Dont make that mistake. Make sure you read this one. Very poor customer service. They were scheduled to replace my windshield at my home. The called me to let me know I had to come into their shop due to rain scheduled for that day. I drove to the shop and they informed me that they ordered the wrong windshield. The clerk at the counter told me I told them the wrong model of the car. I knew he was lying because I had called the 800 number and gave them the make, model and serial number. He insisted that I had given them the wrong make and model of car. So I let it go and they scheduled me for another appointment. The only appointment they could give me was for 2 days later. This was a huge inconvenience since I already took a day off from work for the first appointment. When I arrived to get the windshield replaced they told me because I was 25 minutes late for my appointment and that this was I acceptable. They were not able to help me and I would have to schedule for the following week. The one guy was sitting at the front desk reading a magazine. 2 bays were empty and the workers were sitting around eating Doritos. So, no thank you. I would actually rather pay a few dollars more and get it done the right way at the dealership. I could only imagine the poor quality of their work if the customer service is this bad. Do yourself a favor and try the dealer since most glass replacement is done through insurance anyway. Save your self the headaches that these schleps will give you.

I am very happy with the work that was done for my windshield on my 2014 Mazda6. I had a small chip on my windshield from a stone hitting it on the highway, and didnt want to pay a ton of money to get it fixed nor let it go because it could turn into a crack. It was super easy to book an appointment online, and was happily surprised that my insurance covered repairs like that, free of charge. Tyler was the technician that serviced the damage on the glass, he was super friendly and talked the whole time. I had to reschedule once due to the rain, and he even called before he came just to be sure neither of us wasted our time due to inclement weather. He came when I rescheduled within the time frame given, and it took maybe 20 minutes for him to fix it. Another plus, I didnt have to leave work to get it taken care of, he came right to my office building and took care of it! Highly recommend Safelite if you need small repairs like mine, and definitely recommend Tyler as a technician.

I’m my opinion I would say that I had a terrible experience with this location of the safelite enterprise. I give it two stars instead of one only because of issac, very professional and helpful technician. Side note: if I were you I would use the Whitehall location. Also, ask for mike the manager, 5 star rating for him.

Had a chip in the windshield. Was hoping they would replace the glass but they just sealed it. Can still see the crack and its right in my sight line. They were recommended by my insurance company but I wish I had gone elsewhere.

I had scheduled an appointment for them to come replace a windshield and the appointment was cancelled by them last minute. I rescheduled a couple weeks later and that appointment was also cancelled by them at the last minute. Ive had a few windshields replaced at Schaeffers auto glass on 422 and have never had a problem, I should have just called them from the start.

I got a new windshield installed. The techs were friendly and helpful. White guy with tatoos really knew his stuff. The job was quoted to take 1.5 - 2 hours and I was in and out of there in 30 - 45 minutes! Free bottled water and coffee while you wait. I am very picky and I have no complaints. Install looks lined up nicely and they vacuumed the interior which was a nice suprise. Very pleased.

Terrible experience! They came out to fix a small crack in my windshield, which within 30 seconds became a giant crack across my entire windshield. The windshield then needed to be replaced. They offered to take the cost of the repair off of the cost of the replacement, but the new windshield would still end up costing me $480! Thankfully, I said no and then found another place that replaced my windshield for less than half that price, and they came out to my office to do the replacement too. Avoid at all costs!

I had a rear windshield replacement 4 years ago on our 2006 Chevy equinox. Last month our spoiler flew off while driving and safelite said it was my fault because I hit the garage door with the hatch door. Long story short Geoff Penske replaced the spoiler due to improper windshield installation. So, heres your last chance to make it right safelite with your lifetime warranty or be sued in court for not holding your warranty terms. Your choice I am done with your story.

We had some great service fixing stone damages to the windshield of her Honda and my Tacoma. Then had the windshield in her Mercedes Benz SLK REPLACED when something big hit it.

Fast service. Changed our drivers side window in less then 30 minutes.

Me and my family were driving when a rock hit our winsheild and chipped it. We went online and scheduled an appointment 2 hours from the time it chipped. Our insurance covered the cost to get it filled. Steven fixed the chip and you can hardly even see a mark even though he warned me that filling a chip wont completely hide it. Steven was professional and only took 15 minutes.

Took my small chip and turned it into a 2 foot spider crack. Unfriendly and unapologetic.

Ugh. I went there for a window replacement in my truck and specifically asked if they used the factory molding. They said the did, it was clear they used some Korean made aftermarket thing. The window had a horrible air sound like a hair dryer blowing air in the top of the glass. I took it back, they insisted that was normal and everything was fine. It wasnt. I ordered the factory part myself and had the Safelight in Ephrata do the rework, then it was fine. I would never go to this store again. Horrible employees who take no pride in their work.

My experience at safelite was terrible. when I first had my windshield replaced less than two years they were great. I had a stress crack start under my windshield wiper. I knew they had a lifetime warranty. I then stopped in so they can check the it. Randy then came out and looked at it. he said that there was a impact mark. I said that happened over a year ago and the stress started under the windshield wiper. he then said that I must not have noticed it. I commute 74 miles one way, and look out of that window over 2 hours every day. I notice everything. so because of my preexisting chip they will not replace my $300 windshield. dont go to safelite unless you want to be told what you can and can not see!!!!
