I dont remember her name (I think it was a manager, she unlocked the door for opening), but the lady that helped me this morning was very friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to provide me with a great experience and it was very much appreciated.

The worst experience ever and horrible customer service. Tried to buy beautiful ring from clearance, got all the way to confirm and place order. It got stuck processing, called them and was told website went down but if charged order went through. Was told not to place another order Called today and they told order didnt go through, even my card was charged. Price went up today but they wont honor the clearance price. The worst experience ever, would not recommend anyone this company.

We purchased my engagement ring, wedding band, and mens wedding band from Kays and we have had nothing but mess-ups and disappointments. Everything from wrong sizes ordered to account information incorrectly entered and lost to delays in shipping. Also, every time you try to call the store no one answers (in Rapid City). I love my ring but wish we would have went with a different company. We have had issues with both Rapid City and Sioux Falls Kays and also Bismarck Kays.
If had several problems with me couple thousand dollar ring and the problems seem to never end, while the are willing to help it isnt efficient. At the store the manager basically told us we were out of luck and that our problems werent real. She sat on the phone for almost an hour pretending to do things and didnt talk to anyone the entire time. Most of the cases were empty. Over all annoyed with my experience and wont but jewelery from them again. They young girl at the counter telling me about different stones was very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful, so that saved you from a one star.
Understaffed and slow service. I had to go three separate times just to drop off my ring as a diamond fell out. The service was so slow that I had to leave on 3 separate times after waiting an hour each time before I could even drop off my ring. They called and said my ring is back, and my husband went in to pick it up for me. He waited in the store for another 45 min before he finally left due to no service. Now they have my wedding ring and not sure when I will get it back.
We had a great experience purchasing our engagement rings and wedding band here. Staff is always helpful. Ive never had any issue with my jewelry.
6 months to replace a stone and then never open to call them to check status of ring. Very Disappointed on how they are anymore. Have bought Several pieces of jewelry from them. May have to find a New Place. Guy that works their, wasnt the friendliest either.

This store is so awful, it’s so stressful and the employees don’t know anything, they need some serious training in this location. I have to come in several times a year for ring maintenance and it’s always just a headache to get it just checked and inspected and then you have to make sure the employees do their job and fill it out on the iPad, otherwise they won’t update your ring inspection and then cause you all sorts of trouble when you try to ship it out. Something needs to be done about this particular location, because I have never been in a Kay’s where the staff is so unknowledgeable.

Watch repairs can take in excess of 6 months, ring sizing can take in excess of two months. Their customer service is horrible, once repairs are done, they dont always call to inform you they are ready. There isnt an excuse for never returning my call, but they use being busy as an excuse. Six months for a watch glass replacement is unacceptable. Last but definitely not least, they are rude and defensive when confronted about my experience.
Staff was confrontational with me. Isnt it expected that a customer should be treated with respect. I need to have a ring repaired that I purchased there but I will never buy another piece of jewelry from Kay Jewelers in Rapid City SD
The worst service I have ever heard of or seen! What was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life has been completely and utterly ruined by the horrible staff and customer service provided by this store. Thanks for ruining my engagement Kays!
If I could put a negative star I would. I hate that my husband got my ring here! Do not go to Kay! First of all they dont have a jeweler in town so if you need to get any work done you have to go 2 weeks with out having your jewelry. Second of all the staff is so unweloming! As if Im an inconvenience to you. For the past 8 years Ive been disastisfied and am finally fed up and will start taking my jewelry elsewhere.

Bought a ring with a 70 point diamond in it. Only lasted 2 and a half years and the diamond fell out. Poor quality. I would only give 0 stars if it let me.
