Chris diagnosed and repaired our 2013 Dodge Cummins while we were in South Dakota on vacation and got us back on the road. He took the time to speak with us and our mechanic back home in New Hampshire to figure out what was wrong with the truck. Then he repaired it in a timely manner. We are happy to have found this small business with honest, hard working and caring owners. Highly recommend

I was on vacation with my family and ended up with truck problems. I called the shop and explained my situation that we just came in from MN and I needed help with my truck shutting off. Even though they were fully booked up over a week out, Chris the owner said to come on in and hed take a look. He was very informative, used laymen terms, explained in detail step by step of what he would do depending on what code came up. He fixed my truck in less time then he said it might be. AWESOME JOB, FRIENDLY, AFFORDABLE and GREAT SERVICE ALL THE WAY AROUND! The ladies in the office are super friendly and courteous. If I lived in Rapid City this would be the ONLY place Id have work on my vehicles. Chris KNOWS HIS STUFF!!!!! Thanks you guys for helping us have a great vacation... without you it would have been ruined.

We live 11 hours away and had a brake caliper seize up on a Fri afternoon and these wonderful people took us in and had it fixed in 2 hours. Chris is a good mechanic and person!!This was after Goodyear around the corner told me that hes not going to be able to help me until the middle of the following week and was certain he couldnt give me any names in town that would be any better.

Stay away at all cost! It cost me just under $900 to replace a fuel pump in my Motor home. Now I cannot fill up my tank all the way because of their in proper way that they put the fuel pump back into my tank. You would think that since the owner is a fireman, He would know the importance of not having a leaking fuel tank, right next to a hot exhaust pipe! I called them, left message, And never heard back from him!! By the grace of God we did make it all the way home.. But now I get to pay another mechanic to redo his work!!!!!

Wicked Wrenches was very helpful and very nice to us! We had some issues where some fabric had gotten wrapped around our drive shaft (weird problem) and we got it off but wanted to check that it was all okay. Wicked wrenches got us in day of and was able to look at it and tell us it was good to drive. Didn’t even charge us! Super sweet guy and would highly recommend their business to anyone. Tried to tip them but they just put it in a fund for people who can’t afford repairs on their cars. Such nice people!!!

We were traveling through the area the week before the Sturgis Motorcycle rally starred. I found WW on the Amzoil site as an authorized dealer. I called and asked if they could get me in for an oil change. The owner asked me to call back in a hour so that he could make sure he had access to the correct oil and filter. I called back and he was able to fit me in around 4. The service was fast and efficient. My wife and I along with our dog were welcome to wait in their waiting area which was spotless as was their restroom. They had us back on the road within an hour. If youre in the area, and need service, check with Wicked Wrenches first!

On Thursday, June 3, 2021, we were on our way home to Rochester, Mn, from the Black Hills when disaster struck. The serpentine belt shredded and we were stuck. Wicked Wrenches of Rapid City, SD, came to the rescue. They made time in their busy schedule to repair our 2004 Winnebago Adventurer (8.1L Workhorse engine). It took a few attempts to get the right belt. They also helped refill the cooling system. Friendly and competent professional service. We were impressed and grateful.

Was happy they got my van fixed in a few days over a busy Memorial day time frame. Communication was good. Shop was easy to find. A little pricey for a fuel pump... $650. Was unhappy they broke the plastic latch to my hood and never said anything about it and we didnt find out it was broken until we went for an oil change. If you break it...you should replace it...if not at least mention it or reimburse your customer. I personally cant open it without the aid of a tool anymore...unhappy with that!

The wifes Duramax broke down and this shop has beared with us through the whole process. They have been very easy to work with. We need more shops like these guys around. Thank you to the whole team at Wicked Wrenches who has helped us.

Chris was awesome, I bough a remanufactured motor from a reputable website, Chris was the only one in town who had heard of them. He gave me an honest opinion of their motors and filled me in on a few extra items that I would want new. He went above and beyond making this job a piece of cake for me. I will always use them for any future projects and highly recommend!

I really wish I could give these people 10 stars. Traveling And RV started having issues in the state park. Had to be towed. I called and Chris said he would be happy to look at it but wasn’t sure he’d be able to fix it until the following day or Monday and I agreed to that since he had great yelp reviews. I figured at least he was honest.When I got there, his wife, Tina, said they had five vehicles towed in that morning and it was crazy busy. But as soon as my RV was off the tow truck, Chris got in it and drove it around the block to see if he could figure out what was going on with it. He Took the time to sit down with me in the customer service area and explain the things that could possibly be wrong with it and said he would do some test. No,as a woman with very little mechanical knowledge, I am always a little bit concerned about being taken. Chris spent a lot of time on my vehicle that afternoon and thought he had it figured out for a very small price. I couldn’t believe it. So grateful to have found them. They are honest, hard-working small business and I wish them all the best. I traveled 50 miles with no problems so hopefully we have it all figured out..

Chris is a very honest mechanic. Beside that fact, he STANDS BY HIS WORK!!! He will work with his customers to make sure their vehicles are in tip-top shape and makes check-up calls to make sure they are still that way. His wife Tina is great too!!! If I have any auto work that will need to be done in the future, I will take my vehicles to WICKED WRENCHES!!!!

Sooooo rude!!! Worst customer service . Even if you have a family emergency shouldnt put it on youre customers specially if you are a owner. Ive had family emergency and I dont put it on my customers I take a break!

My car broke down on one of the coldest days in February this year and they had someone tow my car right away. They were able to fix my car the next day. They did a great job!

We came into Rapid City and needed repairs done quickly before our return trip. Wicked Wrenches was able to diagnose the problem we were having and repair it quickly for a very fair and reasonable price. Once we were back home, we were so pleasantly surprised to receive a follow up call asking how our van was doing and making sure we were completely satisfied. I have never received service this good. We pulled into Rapid City late afternoon on a Friday needing an alternator and started at the Honda dealer, who couldn’t help us until Monday morning. Thank goodness for Chris and Tina at Wicked Wrenches. They stayed late in the shop to get our car back on the road that evening even though they had another car they were also working on. Both of our vehicles were repaired quickly and at a very fair price. If we lived in Rapid City Wicked Wrenches would be our mechanic. Thank you SO much!

Good God. Chris saved us when no one else would. We were 2k+ mikes from home when the brakes on our travel trailer went out. White Knuckle. Awesome place, very nice and respectable people/owner..

We are from out of town and our car broke down outside of Rapid City on a Saturday afternoon. Not much was open and we were lucky to find woken wrenches from our tow company. Chris was extremely friendly and helpful fixing our car after hours on a weekend as well as giving us recommendations for rentals and hotels. He stayed later than his shop is usually open and provided great service. He also was able to fix our car right when they opened early Monday to help us get back on our schedule quickly. Definitely recommend wicked wrenches if you are local or from out of town.

We snapped a front bearing while visiting the Black Hills. We had the truck towed to Wicked Wrenches and the owners kept us informed of the progress via text. Fast and good service when we needed repairs in the middle of a roadtrip, very helpful

After my pickup broke down on a mountainside, the tow driver asked where I wanted to go. As Im not local, I asked him where would be good to get fixed quickly so we could get back home ASAP. He took me to Wicked Wrenches because they put priority on out of towners. I called at 8am to tell them my situation, they looked at it right away, and I was driving away by noon. The price was fair and I was given great customer service. Highly recommend!

Chris and Tina are wonderful people. For the amount of work they did on my truck the bill was surprisingly less than I thought it would have been. Theyre easily $1,000 less than what the dealer would have wanted. if I need anything else in the future I will definitely be coming back.

Our motorhome broke down on a Friday coming down from Mount Rushmore, and it was un-towable by the first company. We were distraught, but by Gods provision we were put in touch with Wicked Wrenches on Saturday morning, who recommended a great tow company that got us down to the Wicked Wrenches shop. No other shop wanted to deal with our motorhome, but Wicked Wrenches was not only willing to help us, but willing to help on a Saturday morning! They got us in, fixed, and out the door in 3-4 hours! Even more, we could have easily been taken advantage of, but the owner - who personally worked on our vehicle - was very transparent and honest. If you are in Rapid City and having car trouble, you have to go here. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience!

Man, this place is phenomenal, saved me 1800. Compared to bargin barn who pretty much wanted to do work that was totally not needed, so if you are ever in rapid city, SD look up Chris at wicked wrench he will differently do you justice.

The dealership we purchased our used Jeep sent us to Wicked Wrenches to fix some minor, but important things like oil change and dead right head light. Chris, the owner was friendly and efficient. He fixed it all on dealerships dime and washed our windows and put air freshener in vehicle. Great service, definitely recommend this business.

After breaking down at Mt. Rushmore and having no clue where to have our vehicle towed, we took a chance on this shop and are so glad we did! Amazing shop! Was broken down in sd with a faulty freshly installed alternator, Chris and Tina were able to fit me in same day, worked with the warranty from the Minnesota shop so I walked away without paying a dime, Chris came in after hours for me to pick up my car, and he even gave me an awesome keychain of the shop logo!!

Called in at 9 AM, was in the bay at 3 PM and out before 4 PMMy 2011 ram needed a hub assembly done and they knew the trick to get that particular hub assembly off without any fuss and got me in and out in no time at all.
