VERY cool spot. I went in looking for a bead and might have found a new favorite place. Craft night happy hours, tons of kits, and the woman working was so helpful! I walked around in an amazed daze for too long. Cant wait to go back.

This is more than just a some craft supply store. Yes, they sell different crafting goods, but they also have both an indoor and outdoor classroom. They offer classes for kids and adults with everything from sewing, painting and crocheting to silversmithing, wood burning and enamel jewelry making…and a whole bunch more. They even have Friday happy hours where $15 gets you a drink ticket to the super cool craft brewery next door (Mordecai Beverage Co) which you then bring back to work on whatever that week’s themed craft is.The owner and staff are passionate and knowledgeable about all the things they have on offer and there’s an actual sense of community when you walk in the door. It’ll be your new happy place.

Torch Enameling class was amazing. My sister and I had so much fun. The instructor was knowledgeable, had clear instructions, was available to help as much as needed but also let you explore on your own to try different designs. Ndidi really is a gem and Craft Habit is so very lucky to have her. Respect the fire, but don’t be scared of it! Come make some amazing earrings :)

This was my second visit. I went for the getting to know your sewing machine class and it was great! I left with a better understanding of how my machine worked and the teacher (Sarah) was very knowledgeable. I didnt even have a manual, and she knew how to work it better than me. I love this place!

This is a fun place to shop and pick up craft supplies. The only downside is that they have only a small smattering of supplies for many different crafts. I wouldnt say it is a destination for crafts but a cute place to look around. Their class offerings did seem good and at a fair price.

NC watercolor class with Amy Richards was great. It was my first attempt at watercolor painting since childhood. Amys instruction made it possible to succeed at creating an attractive picture in a short period of time. Ill definitely be practicing the skills she showed us.

Genuine and kind greetings when I entered this shop. I had a good time browsing around. Overall look and feel for me, adorable and personable. My best of wishes for future business. I’m excited about using some of the materials I picked up, and am looking forward to the time I get to return for more. I hope to be back soon.

I finally got to Craft Habit today for a class on making enamel jewelry. The class was taught by Ndidi Kowalczyk, a great local artist and teacher. The store has a variety of craft supplies of all types and the classrooms are large and clean. It was a great experience all the way around.
