YIKES! the service at this store is horrible compared to the Michaels in Cary and Morrisville....its actually very poor compared to any store I can think of. The same day pick up is never same day and multiple orders have been wrong or missing from my bag entirely. Manager, Battet, is very rude. She suggested I find the items myself and bring them to the counter when my order wasnt ready the next day. Lazy and/or rude? Either way I wont be returning to this Michaels location or any other.

As a jewelry designer and artist, Im a frequent Michaels shopper, just not at this location, and Ill likely not go back!! While the store is new and nice, a lot of inventory was low and or damaged/had missing pieces. I pressed the Press for Assistance button twice in the jewelry isles and no one came. Went to the cashier to ask for assistance. She paged for help and still no one came. She paged for back-up a the registers and it took someone far too long to come and offer her the help she needed with the line of customers. They werent able to reprint my receipt that was sent to an old email address, that Ive even logged into to check and its not there. Their solution was for me to come back in 3 days and they could reprint my receipt.

My gps never wants to take me to the store. Maybe thats because they just moved?Some of the staff have a stick up the rear. Others know nothing of crafts or what Im looking for. Very unhelpful.Other staff very pleasant but still dont know much.Store is nice. Bigger. Great yarn selections. Coupons are nice.

Was followed through the store by a guy in plain clothes. I put what I was buying down (outside of the restroom) and a female employee just happened to need to use the restroom as well. The water turned on 3 times before she washed her hands while I was coming out of the stall. Unpleasant experience. This is a remodeled store but its not worth going through that.

I had an amazing experience with their framing department! I forget the gentlemans name but he helped find the most perfect frames for my xmas gifts and placed them in their frame without me even asking. Didnt even charge me for the service, so grateful for people like this!🙌

I been impressed with how many stores have implemented online ordering for in store pick up. That is not the case with this location. I visited today to pick up an online order and parked in the curbside spot. I followed the prompts through the email to notify staff I was there to pick up. No one came. I went inside to the “In store pick up kiosk” and waited. An employee was nearby sorting products in a cart. I told her I was there to pick up an order and she told me I needed to get in the long line. I asked why and she said they don’t have anyone handling pick up orders. I asked if she could get my order and her response was “I guess I could” and she managed to find my order. I was disappointed with the store’s inability to effectively implement the company’s online ordering and pick up system and the employee’s lack of customer service skills.

Love Michaels. Just went for their holiday sale (50% off Christmas stuff) tore it up. Love a good sale.

I noticed michaels displayed a sign saying they were a Ups drop off point I went in and asked just to varify and was informed by an employee they were so i returned to my car and brought a parcel for them to mail for meI was told they are a new store and dont currently offer the service (please make up your mind)Hmm were they just not wanting to do it or not yet trained up? I would suggest not displaying the sign if they dont offer the service

I always love any Michaels for the most part. Unfortunately I was told they dont carry any diamond painting items, which is what I was looking for. Really disappointed bc their competitor does. Also, the store wasnt that busy, but busy enough that I had to stand in line much longer than usual. I prefer, and would recommend, the Brier Creek location.

Theyre were no employees out on the floor helping people. And when I asked the person at the register where something was he just told me and I could find it and it was just not helpful. This was very annoying and stressful and will probably make me go to a different michaels in the future

I really like this store! If you are into DIY stuff this is the store for you. They have a huge selection like jewelery, knitting, crocheting, crossed sizing, resin, paint by number, leather, drawing supplies, kids crafts, seasonal crafts... They just have everything. I like to bring The kids here and pick it some things for family activitys.

Worked at this location for two, three weeks, 12am, 3am shifts couldnt deal with the hours for too long. They refused to pay me at all for the time I worked there. And changed the subject every time i asked to take my card information. Spoke with two different managers neither of them called me back. Horrible company and management !!!!!

So happy about them getting a newer & bigger store but they really need to work on hiring people that enjoy their job. Most of the employees seem very unhappy & floating by. Also wasn’t too thrilled about the misplaced signs that had me over spend on candles, unknowingly to me until getting home. I asked to have my receipt adjusted & was told they couldn’t do anything about it. Smh You look at the picture and tell me does it make it sense that one candle cost 22$ even though the signs on both sides say they are on sale....Other than that store was nice & I hope in the future my experiences are better!

The lady that helped me today was amazing. The manager was awesome too. And I saved 17$ after the rewards thing.

Sometimes its hard to find items and there is never any staff to assist. This trip was pleasant, but the first time I went to this location the line was incredibly long with no staff. Just prepare to be patient when shopping and checking out. COVID times are hard.

Can rely on Michaels to have any last minute items needed for a myriad of projects.

Spent forever trying to find what I needed to make a growth chart for my toddler. Finally get to the register and the cashier insists I put a mask on my toddler. I told her hes too young per the governors policy but she said it was store policy that EVERYONE wear one. Would have been nice to know that before we bothered walking in the door. Total waste of time.

I went to the Capital Blvd location, there was a sign posted on the door stating they had moved. I went to the new location . It dosent open until March 5th, even though the website says its open.

Micheal craft has always been my store too shop.I shop mostly for flowers an greenery.But they needed too get more bundles of Flower Like( HL)does.An also when we make flower arrangement .We needed Vases, greenery, glue sticks,grass (green) funky flowers( different Flower, like Roses, Lillies etc., see,bundles, funky sticks to help match that floral arrangement We are trying too make also.Stroamfoam,Oh, my God How can I make Floral arrangement, If I dont have any solid color vases.Its harded too make a floral arrangement if all you see is Vase with flower on them we needed solid colored vases.I really Miss the ladies.an men that maded. The Floral arrangements in the store..Now we have too go out of town too buy what we needed in 1 place.Sorry, but I still go too Micheal Craft. But the dont have everything I needed so Ive got too leave there an go down the street too get the rest of my items too finish that Floral arrangement.Ok excuse the spelling...I Juliette.miss going Micheal Crafts but I still goes.But if they can get a sided for flower,Vases.,etc everything too make Floral arrangement.I surely will started back going. Michaels has been around for a long time. Due to the pandemic, there shelves are not as full as they used to be (as are most retail stores). They dont have as many employees due to the lack of customers. Please support our local retailers, please shop smart and wear a mask!

I tried the online ordering and it was great. There was a display right inside the door with a button to push for assistance for pickup. I waited less than 2 minutes for assistance, and was taken straight to a register, no waiting in line. They quickly found my order. Will definitely do it again!

I love Michael’s! I am really into crafting and go there often. This morning I was exchanging an outdoor chair cushion for a pillow (same price, brand and right next to each other on the same wall). I had received a discount earlier in the week and I asked them to honor that since it was the same price and it was still in the same week. Nothing changed. Well the cashier couldn’t figure out how to do it so she asked the manager to come help. My daughter was getting fussy and didn’t want to honor the price I paid earlier in the week. Then she said to her boss “should we just give it to her to shut her up?” Seriously?! Did she really just say that to her customer?! In the end they “shut me up” and gave me my discount but I’m not sure an employee has ever treated me that way ever before. Thanks Michael’s for training your staff to be considerate and professional employees to the people that frequently shop at your store. I think I’ll stick to hobby lobby for my future needs.

I love this store. You can always find discounted items and tons of stuff for crafts. Its great for parents to find projects or arts/crafts for the kids...or for yourself, if youre looking for a hobby. Its also great for teachers or girl scout leaders who need supplies for projects. As an artist, I am able to get supplies here, too. There is a good supply of paint and brushes.

The line was wrapped around the store. 2 cashiers the cashier of color was so slow. I watched her for ten min. She helped one customer and the other girl had helped 5. She then answered the phone with a long line and stayed in it another 3 min. The Manger finally came and it was no better. The store was a mess. Im going to hobby lobby next time.

They have several great employees that are always so helpful when I need assistance. One time when I was leaving my vehicle wouldn’t start and I had to wait an hour with a sleepy toddler until the rental car company came. We had to go back inside as it was so hot outside and the employees were wonderful. They helped me feel less anxious about the situation and let us use an empty classroom to keep my cranky toddler busy. One even bought him a snack just out of the kindness of her heart!

I was in Michaels July 7, to look for July 4th sales. On their side walk sales 70% off plus items of July 4 marked plainly 99 cents. 4 rows . I picked 4 items. When I checked out the 99 cent items raring up $4. I asked why they rang up $4, She ask me to show her where I got them. So I did and she said it should not be that price. She said Ill give it to you for that price. However, when she tried to ring them up she said it would not let her ring it up for 99 cents but $1.99. I ask her to remove the items. Is he could have got a MGR. To offer the correct price, but instead she did not make a sale. Very disappointedmarked. So I madeing

Yesterday was great! Michaels store had a lot of sells 50%-60% off. I truly love this store. I got the things I wanted.

Great service and a wide variety of products.

Went to get some colored pencils. They were locked so I asked the employees for help unlocking them. Took 10 minutes for them to unlock them which sucked because I was in a rush. I then get home to find out that they up charged the colored pencils by 20 dollars. I could have ordered them on amazon for 20 dollars less and without the attitude I got from the employees.

Online order with pickup at store are apparently not a same day thing, your ability to pick up an order is dependent on if the person that completes those is even scheduled to work. And corporate is not able to refund your money same day so you can just go in the store and get the items you want off the shelf.

I like the store but the cashier was very confusing about the coupon policy and made me split up my transaction to use 3 DIFFERENT coupons. She did a poor job of explaining what she was doing as well.

Decent enough all around craft and art supply store. My only real issue is, as a watercolorist, they tend to have more mid to low tier supplies, and could really stand to carry more options, especially when it comes to cotton paper. That being said, they cover a fairly wide range of supplies for new artists and crafters alike, and I feel are a better option than others within the same market space.

The store had been rearranged but the signs remained in old locations. staff either non-existent or didnt acknowledge guests. was able to find what I was looking for, but store didnt look recovered, sections disorganized and empty pegs were visible in every section

I imagine the lady below me had the same employee. Lady with the gray long hair is extremely rude (calling me “difficult”, asking “which do you want me to do, this or that?” Rudely when I simply mentioned something I saw online about looking stuff up through card numbers, telling her manager I wanted a certain price that I never asked for very rudely) and doesn’t explain anything. It was a simple return.

Found what I was looking for easily and was out of there in minutes. I love how the isles are labeled!

Im like a kid in a candy store here

Placed an online order over 2 days ago, went to pick up and it wasnt ready. Spoke to a couple people, one guy told me twice hed look upstairs for the items in my order, but I caught him walking around scanning in other orders instead while leaving me standing and waiting. So I canceled and have to go elsewhere to hopefully get what I need. Other locations have their online system under control, just out of stock of what I needed, this was disappointing and handled poorly.

Not enough people working and the people that are look like they hate helping people. No help at all Ill go elsewhere in the future
