I am overall very happy with the final product. The installers were very good at minimizing the seam and did were very clean and precise with the caulk. My sales rep Stephanie was also very responsive to any questions I had. I would definitely use them again.

Dont both with this place. The woman working there couldnt be bothered to put her phone down and stop texting until I mentioned that I needed some help. Then she kept mentioning price, price, price until I told her price didnt matter until I found the right product. She looked really put off. We ended up walking out and going somewhere else.

After our son purchased a townhome in Raleigh this past summer for a job transfer, the kitchen was in dire need of a granite countertop and backsplash. We contacted East Coast Granite and Marble on Glenwood Ave in Raleigh and spoke with Stephanie. Because we were in Boston awaiting the closing, everything needed to be done long distance. WOW #1 - what fantastic service were we provided. I cant say enough about Stephanie T. and her team. She is beyond incredible as a communicator and was awesome to work with. Before we did a mail-away closing, Stephanie visited the property with the realtor, took pictures and measurements and got back to us with design options, specials, and selections while we were still not on the premises. She emailed granite and tile selections, made design recommendations, and offered a free 70/30 stainless steel sink with their granite and tile special currently underway. WOW #2 - Not only was the cost reasonable and comparable, the quality of the materials was superb and beautiful. After we made the selections, they re-measured again and scheduled an install, even though he had closed on the property, all while we were still in the Boston area. She communicated the schedule of removal of old laminate counters and backsplash and the timing of the granite and tile backsplash installation. She had even made design options during the install that proved to be not only stylish, but practical. The installers were couteous and left everything clean and neat upon my sons return to Raleigh. WOW #3 - During this entire process, Stephanie emailed pictures, design suggestions, updates, and final pics. We even needed a few touch-ups with granite sealer, and they scheduled a prompt return to apply it. Overall - these WOWS should do it for East Coast Granite on Glenwood Ave in Raleigh - SERVICE, PRICE, SPECIALS, QUALITY, INSTALLATION, and FOLLOW-UP. You would be crazy to use any big box home improvement store or other supplier when EAST COAST GRANITE and MARBLE proved to be a WINNER in every aspect of customer service and quality possible. I’m so happy with my whole experience with East Coast Granite and Marble! Over the summer I had the kitchen done and this month remodeled the master bath. If I could give more than 5 stars, I surely would. Sarah was easy and wonderful to work with, as well as, extremely helpful. We had our countertops installed on a Friday in July and these guys had been working all day in a new house somewhere so by the time they got to our place, it was about 6:30 pm and I know they had to be tired but you would never know it. They came in very apologetic, took their time to make sure that things were done right, laid paper down on the floor and even took their shoes off when needed. For anyone looking for a top notch company to do Granite, you have truly found a wonderful company here and I can’t see how that you would ever have any regrets. Please BEWARE when using this company. I had one of the most unprofessional, horrible experiences, not to mention I had to deal with an extremely rude, disrespectful, “owner” who said his name was Konstantin at East Coast Granite in Raleigh. I purchased granite countertops and I also purchased my own sink separately and delivered it to their “shop”. So that a template could be made. Before I left the shop-I had an employee look at the sink with me to confirm that the sink was in perfect condition, no cracks, etc. He confirmed. A week and a half later, my sales rep calls to tell me that I delivered a cracked sink. I explained that I did not. After she researched and confirmed with their employee that I indeed dropped off a sink in perfect condition, the sales manager agreed that someone must have dropped it in the shop and agreed to replace the sink. The damaged sink was then returned to me. When the installers came to put the sink in they insisted that I give them the damaged sink that I purchased, which I said no. That doesn’t make any sense. I purchased it from Home Depot and East Coast Granite cracked it and agreed to replace it so why would they now want my damaged sink back. The reason is because according to the owner, he planned to take my damaged sink that I purchased and repackage it and return it to Amazon where he ordered the replacement sink so he could get his money back for replacing my sink! How fraudulent is that??? So, realistically- they did not truly replace at their own cost - but are attempting to exchange it using the one I purchased. It’s the principle and bad customer service. When I refused to give my sink to the installers, the owner called me (while the installer was still here) and was extremely rude and disrespectful and spoke terribly to me. He was furious that I would not give him my sink that I paid for. He argued and demanded that I give him MY cracked sink so he could return it to Amazon (which is where he purchased the replacement sink from) to get his money back. He told me if I didn’t give him the sink he would send me a bill for the replaced sink- even though they acknowledged cracking it in their shop while in their possession!! That makes no sense. He continued to basically yell and talk over me until I finally had enough of his behavior. He just would not let up. I was shocked, frustrated, and it made no sense to me at all. This is how an owner handles an issue that is the companies fault?? I had several witnesses to this entire conversation so he can’t deny it. The installers literally took my damaged sink from my house. This is fraudulent to take something a customer paid for and return it to a completely different company just so they can get out of paying for replacing the sink. CHEAP!!!! Shame on you!! What business owner would argue and be rude to a customer who spent several thousand dollars with you and lose future business when the company is at fault for the whole situation to begin with . Terrible service - watch out for them. The owner is shady and underhanded. I will NEVER refer anyone who treats a customer that way to East Coast Granite. You can’t do business this way. It’s wrong! I am incredibly dissatisfied and disappointed. I hope Amazon realizes that’s not the sink purchased from them. Shady company!! There’s plenty other companies to use, don’t take a chance with East Coast Granite.

Really positive experience with East Coast Granite and Marble. Stephanie was responsive and made sure we were happy with the installation after the fact (a nice touch you dont see much these days!). We sent her a picture of our existing granite and she sent back options to match. The granite we ordered matched the existing granite in our home MUCH better than we anticipated. Pricing was significantly lower than Lowes, who also wanted to charge a square foot minimum that would have brought the total cost to more than double what we paid. First someone came out to measure (was masked and very polite, and even walked through options related to an island overhang for seating, including letting us know if we wanted more than 10 inches we would need to add supports).Installation was fast (15 minutes), everyone on the crew wore masks and was extremely polite. They let us know what to expect and how long to let the glue dry etc...Overall I was thrilled with the experience and would highly recommend.

Very helpful polite staff. Knowledgeable and helpful, and honest about their product. I found the prices half the price of big stores and installation took less than 10 min. Paid half up front AND (are you listening/reading) I THE CUSTOMER HAD TO HOUND THEM TO PAY THE OTHER HALF!!!!!! I want harassed by phone calls, email, text or anything. I spoke to them on the phone and ZERO hassle. Both ladies were kind and nonchalant about arranging ways to pay via text or email link sent to me if I didnt want to pay in person. Im definitely shopping there again and highly recommend everyone else do the same!

Can I leave more than 5 stars??? This company was amazing to work with and Sarah is a huge asset to this organization. I was fortunate to be able to get my dream kitchen in the works after years of living with a functional, but somewhat drab and smallish kitchen. I had many recommendations from friends and family for other granite fabricators in the area, but just happened to stop in to kill time while my car was being serviced, rather than wait at the dealership. Even without an appointment, Sarah made me feel so welcomed and never rushed with me even though I was just a tire kicker at the time, and had no idea they would be such an integral part of making my dream a reality. She has such an amazing eye for detail that I immediately felt comfortable with her and decided she was just the right person to lead me through this very intimidating project. I was just a homeowner with a dream and absolutely zero working knowledge of how this all goes together, but Sarah took the reins, made me feel at ease, and with her guidance, we navigated this with finesse! The other subs thought I must have some kind of background in the industry, because she took the time to explain every step of the process and gave me quite the education along the way. She was always readily available, or at the least, got back to me almost immediately every single time I needed her...and boy did I need her a lot! My kitchen was finished just in time for a wonderful family gathering, despite all the delays my uncertainties caused. Sarah, thank you for talking me through my insecurities, even after hours. Your dedication is unmatched.

Short Summary: Good selection and pricing, helpful people, beware using your own sink!Pros: Beautiful selection of granites and seemed competitively priced. Kristen was a joy to work with - very helpful, very patient with my husband and I. Everything up to install was smooth - we did hand selection of the slabs, the template maker was efficient, and my husband went personally to the fabrication shop for the template layout. Everyone seemed helpful to that point. I am quite happy with the finished kitchen countertop, but it was frustrating to get to that point. (More below).Cons: So we provided our own sink to use in the countertops, which the template maker took in the original packaging and with our name on it, to the fabricator. A week later the installers showed up with the WRONG sink, a countertop cut to the WRONG sink, and had lost our sink (it was found soon after). So we tell them to try the cutting again at no charge to us (thankfully we had chosen 2 slabs, just in case). Another week later, the installers show up with the SAME WRONG sink, though swore the cut was to OUR sink. The installers come back the next day with OUR sink and finished the install quickly. I personally think the overhang around the sink is a little large, but perhaps that is standard.Anyhow, the end result is a nice looking countertop, but an extra week delay and a lot of unnecessary frustration to get there.

What do I say, gave me a time to install my kitchen countertops for early in the day, they showed up at 6pm. I took time off, wasted my day, and my wife and kid had to spend the night at grandmothers house because the entire house was upside down till after midnight. Then my upstairs bathroom vanities, they gave me the 9th, I paid, signed the contract, chose the granite by going there 6 times, they canceled fro the 9th, gave me the 10th, they canceled for the 10th, showed on the 11th with only one vanity top, the other one missing, the vanity top they brought was cut lop-sided and chipped from one place, what the hell....I have contacted my lawyer already, I need compensation for 4 days off from work, the trauma of having to deal with them on the phone, email, text messages, the time spent going back and forth to their warehouse to make sure everything is fine, like what the hell....unprofessional, and they are in it for a long run because I am suing them.

East Coast Granite made buying counters simple. With so many options on the market, it gets overwhelming. After getting multiple prices for granite, I decided to stop by East Coast on my way home from work one afternoon. Konstantine was the first person I met and dealt with. His prices were easy to understand and the selection was great. I was able get quartz for less than the cost of level 3 granite at other places. This included the kitchen sink and for a little extra was able to get the vanity counter thrown in as well. Template went smoothly and installers showed up just a week after to install. The day it was installed was the first time my wife had seen the color i had picked out and she was very impressed. The installers made the process painless and easy. Hugo and Kelvin did an amazing job hiding the seams and making sure my wife was happy before they left. One piece of side splash on the vanity was a little short but came back within the week to install correct piece. i would recommend them to anyone looking at purchasing granite or quartz. Nowhere else in the Triangle can you get the service and quality for the price you pay.

Installers were professional, polite, and on time. Did two jobs with Them and both looked amazing. Prices were competitive with other dealers, but I mainly chose East Coast Granite And Marble because of their quick returns with emails and phone calls and turn around for the work to be installed. Guys in the warehouse were great and easy to work with. Their main goal was to please me and have a great finished product. Highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

First time purchasing granite counter tops and Konstantine made this an excellent first experience. We found the stone we liked in the store and within a couple of days we had someone come out to our house to measure and within a week the counter tops were installed.The seams in the granite are almost completely unnoticeable and we could not be happier with the end result.Konstantine was very quick to respond to any inquiries we had and will do everything he can to ensure that you are satisfied with the counters.

The folks at East Coast Granite are very customer service oriented. I have worked with 3 people in the office and a couple in the field, they are all excellent. The owner really cares a great deal about your experience with them. We are a commercial GC and have dealt with a lot of stone people over the years. This company has been the best for us. As a designer I have worked with East Coast Granite for a number of years. They have always treated my customers with the upmost respect and provided my customers an awesome selection of granite. My customers have all been pleased with the finished product. I highly recommend East Coast Granite. I have been impressed by the way they keep the customers informed, from calling a day ahead for a reminder of the template and staying within the arrival time. If they are running a few minutes behind they called to let customers know. That is hard to come by these days.

I have never gone out of my way to write a review about a company before now. East coast granite was the most unprofessional and disrespectful company I have ever worked with. After looking at several companies we chose east coast after choosing a specific slab of granite, and putting it on hold. We had a hold sticker placed on the slab, purchased the slab, and confirmed with Kristen our sales rep that the slab was accounted for. When I went to complete my template they brought me to another slab, stating they had no slab on hold for our project. I eventually found the slab, which had been cut in half, used, our hold sticker placed back on it, and placed behind a big stack of other scrap pieces. After several claims and pointed fingers about what happened they attempted to make it right, and proved themselves even more incompetent. We traveled back and forth several times to cosmos to pick out a new slab, and once we had an appointment to create the new template with the new slab, that was again postponed a couple of hours which we were notified about 15 min before. Our installation date was moved back due to their mistake and being behind on other orders. Once our new slab was brought to be installed, it came with one of the edges completely unfinished, so they were delayed an additional couple of hours. After all of the inconveniences, trips taken out of our way to make up for their mistake, and delay in our project, the company sent a $50 gift card wrapped in a blank piece of printer paper in the mail, as if that would make up for it... (we spent more money on gas traveling to the warehouse to pick out a new slab and to travel to their fabrication shop multiple times)Overall, do not use this company. Plain and simple.

I purchased granite for the master bathroom renovation, as well did my mother, who lives a few doors from me, at the same time. We were given instructions and a date and time for installation by Sara. On the scheduled day of installation (8-11am) no show, no phone calls. At 12:45 I called the store, spoke with Alexis, she said the granite was on the truck, she didnt know what truck, they were just behind, they will be there, she had no way of contacting the installers to confirm. I texted Sara, explained the situation, we were waiting for granite and needed confirmation it was getting late and I had been up since 6am prepared for the installers. She said she would find out what was going on and get right back to me. I waited 45 minutes more, no response., called back spoke with Alexis, was told we were never on the schedule, the owner had removed us from the schedule, and we would not receive granite today. No real explanation, no rescheduled date, nothing. Waited till Thursday of the next week, I telephoned Sara, asked if we were going to get our granite, since we were in not able to finish the bathroom vanities. She said we would get granite tomorrow, I asked what time, she gave me the 8-11am time again. They arrived around 12:40. Installed the granite. My mothers granite had a chip in the surface in front of one of the sinks. One of my sinks had been installed off center, the drain was to the complete right of the faucet and water stream. I contacted Sara, she said she would send a repairman out the next week. Waited another 5 days, heard nothing. Called again, spoke with someone at Glenwood Ave. store, explained situation, she spoke with the manager. Sara responded later with appointment for repair. The same folks came back, they had to hammer in wood shims to try to break loose the sink to readjust, sink broke. It was disturbing to watch the hammering around the granite, I was on pins and needles. They had no other sink with them, and had to return again the next day to replace. The chip was filled with epoxy in which they fumbled with trying to decide what to do. It was not repaired professionally, but it was best to just get them out of the house. Its difficult to communicate with people who do not speak English. I am very disappointed with my experience. I was so excited to get the granite, but what we went through with no communication, not showing up, installation mistakes, language barriers...its not worth it. I had to make every phone to try and get this installed and repaired. Ive pressure washed the mud off the front porch area rug their shoes left behind and Im putting this behind me and just being grateful it was not a kitchen!!! Update: I would like to thank the owner for contacting me and offering his apology and sorting out the issues. Thank you also for offsetting the problems. I hope we can do business in the future.

We used East Coast Granite for a kitchen and half bath renovation. They did a fantastic job and make sure we were 100% happy. They gave us the best quote but most importantly their quality and customer service were outstanding. Highly recommend them!

We went to the showroom to pick out our counter top for an outdoor grilling area. We were inside for over 15 minutes alone. We finally started walking around and found all of the employees hanging out outside not paying attention. That was the least of the problems. They came to install the counter top the first time and the piece they brought was too small. They came back a few weeks later and installed it. They put a seam right in the middle of the largest prep surface. There was no reason for it. They could have hidden it behind the grill easily. They didnt tell us there would be a seam and they never responded when our contractor complained. All of the cuts they made have 1/4 or more space in between the counter and the grill/burner they are supposed to meet with. Very disappointed.

Konstantin and his East Coast Granite shop is by far and away the best service-oriented organization I have ever dealt with in North Carolina -- oh and they install a great piece of stone at a very reasonable price. I worked with Konstantin directly for doing some outdoor grill area work and despite any of my requests, changes, follow ups or clarifications he was right there with a polite, quick and thoughtful response. They worked closely with Triton stone to secure the exact slab we wanted and charged out for the actual square footage we used. Hes a class act and I couldnt recommend anyone more in this area for granite, marble, quartz, etc.

So I went to several places for granite, this guy Konstantine Was fantastic. I knew he was super busy, however you gave me the time a day. His pricing was very competitive, he’s very honest, and they do absolutely wonderful work. I rarely do reviews online, I had to for this company.

We had some serious water damage due to a faulty part on our brand new dishwasher! Floors, cabinets, everything damaged and needed replacing. We decided to finally upgrade to granite and were sent to East Coast Granite by our contractor. We loved the experience! They had a ton of options - in every price point - and were super easy to work with! I had never picked out granite before and was a little nervous about what would look good with our kitchen colors. Their showroom off of 70 has great examples set up and you can even take a look at their most popular types with cabinet and backsplash examples lined up. The full process only took 8 days - signed contract and template crew came out to measure - 7 days later our counters were in! They look beautiful and we are VERY happy!Thanks East Coast Granite!

EDIT: although there were bumps and mistakes made during the customer service and installation process and I still stand behind choosing a different salesperson than Rick, the owner of this company has gone above and beyond to redo this job and make sure it is now to my satisfaction. He seemed genuinely concerned with my frustrations and personally came to my house to install the last piece and seal the counter. The counter is beautiful and I think that with good communication, this is a good company to hire.

Great experience - customer service was excellent. We did not have an appointment but were greeted warmly and had estimates within minutes for our new kitchen countertops. Price was similar or better than the other countertop companies we went to, but the service was much better - we signed the contract for install within 24 hrs. We knew exactly what we wanted and they had it along with a variety of other options. Installation process went smoothly as well - very happy with our new kitchen countertops!

Konstantin was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very patient with me and all the questions I had about the countertops. I shopped around at several places and his price was the best. Not by a little, but by a lot. If you are considering granite you need to call them. I have referred two people to them already because I am that happy with the service they provided.

Everyone we spoke to was terrific. Most especially Deren who really knows her stuff. Very good prices. Very good products.

The granite countertops they installed look very nice, however, the skill and workmanship of the installers was sub par. On the day of installation they forgot to bring one of the back splash pieces and another back splash piece had to be returned to the shop to be polished. When a different crew returned the second time to put the back splash pieces in place, they left without securing the dishwasher in place. As a result the dishwasher shimmied the one time that it was used which it had never done before. A supervisor was sent out to secure the the dishwasher in place which he did, however, since then no water has been able to enter the dishwasher and, we have been unable to use it. I think that he may have kinked a line on the back of the machine. East Coast Granite hasnt responded to my recent texts and phone calls since I paid them the balance of their bill. I have called the plumber who reattached the sink drain and disposal unit after the countertops were installed to investigate why the dishwasher doesnt get any water.Long story short: I wouldnt recommend these people to install your granite countertops. If I had to do it over again I would pay more and have someone else do it right. We went with East Coast Granite and Marble because they were the low bidder on our project. Now I know why they were the lowest estimate: they do lousy work.

East Coast Granite deserves full marks for a very positive experience. I must admit, I checked the reviews of many different counter fabricators and most had their share of positive and negative extremes. What made me choose East Coast above the others were the comments on customer service before, during, and after the installation.Every construction job has its hiccups; thats inevitable. Yet, no matter what the challenge: adapting cabinetry (thank you Daniel), switching out sinks, repairing small flaws, Erica and Konstantin were on top of the situation. Their responses were quick and all the servicemen took the time to do the job right, in a surprisingly tight time frame.Truly, I was impressed with the reasonable prices, great choice of stone, professional installation, and great follow-up.I would most definitely recommend East Coast Granite and their entire Raleigh crew.

My husband and I are THRILLED with our new Taj Mahal quartzite countertops and island top that East Coast Granite & Marble just put in for us. Our 17 year old kitchen was too dark with cherry cabinets and floors along with dark green granite. We updated to the Taj Mahal beige quartzite and it lightened up the space and now the room looks modern and current. The entire crew at this company is great, but I have to give a special shout out to your salesman, Rick Angelini. This young man is a GEM. He came to our home and measured everything and then put up with me stopping by the store to ask him a million questions until I made up my mind. I saw and heard many other customers doing the same. Walter, and everyone else at East Coast Granite, were amazing. Walter personally escorted us to the distributor, in order to find the perfect slab of marble for our Kitchen. The installation crew were just as contentious, and professional. I highly recommend them.

I had a problem with our undermount kitchen sink separating from the granite. I called East Coast Granite and they had me contact one of their installers directly. Rigo was at our house within a day, diagnosed the problem as a faulty bracket, replaced that one, tightened the others, and re-siliconed around the sink in less than 30 minutes. Great service!

We have had the best experience with East Coast Granite & Marble! From the 1st day we went to the store on Glenwood ave...Stephanie was very kind and informative...a great 1st impression! Then once we were ready to proceed with selecting our choices she guided us every step of the way...the BEST communication possible! She consistently communicated back and forth with me via email and text every time I had a question or was not sure about a selection....she even provided pictures to help! She made sure everything got done on time and everything got taken care of! She is such an awesome employee....everyone should learn customer service from her! Also, the prices are very affordable and there are a lot of variety of choices! The warehouse employees were also very helpful and informative! Installation was scheduled quickly and the installers for the countertop and backsplash were really nice and really cared about doing a great job! East Coast Granite rocks from sales through installation. We did a partial kitchen reno and it was a painless project. Our salesman, Walter, was informative, helpful and not pushy to sell us something we didnt need. We learned a lot from his years of experience. They did a beautiful job installing our new quartz counter tops, were immediately responsive to a small problem we had, and are generally a nice group of people to work with. And their prices are fair. Definitely check them out if youre remodeling or building new.

Stopped by their shop on Glenwood on a whim while doing a little preliminary search for granite, and Walter was more than happy to take the time to walk me through various options, explain some of the different stones, as well as lay out how the whole process would be. He was even able to come meet me at the house that same day to do quick measurements so we could put together a budget for later purchase.When it came time to purchase, Walter came back out, did exact measurements (we re-did some parts in the kitchen that needed to be taken into account), and invited me to go to their fabrication shop to look at more examples. The group there was also very friendly and helpful.Konstantin came out to handle the templates and took the time to show me a few ideas I hadnt thought of to really make sure the final product came out looking great. When a slight mistake was made by the install crew install, (a extra bit of backsplash was put in a spot we originally were not going to have one...very minor issue, and came out looking better for it), Konstantin cut an extra piece and made a special trip out to install it himself ASAP.Overall they were great to work with, more than happy to take the time to explain the process and make you feel comfortable with everything. They were also very punctual, and great with communication! They were even able to find a great remnant piece and surprised us with a bathroom vanity that we had talked about, but not verified! Would highly recommend them to anyone in the greater triangle area looking for granite.

We live in North Raleigh and recently remodeled our kitchen for a 3,800 sq ft home. I spent over a month interviewing 6-8 different fabricators across Raleigh/Durham including Konstantin at East Coast and have to note that I have incredibly high standards when it comes to selecting work for our home. When making the final decision it came down to price, simplicity, customer service, and quality of product and East Coast Granite blew every single one away. Konstantin was professional, helpful throughout the entire process, the least expensive (by far), and we could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish.We chose an exotic quartzite stone that was a high end product so needless to say I was nervous going into the process and had NOT ONE issue. They were so helpful scheduling an appointment at the shop on Glenwood, templating once the quartzite was ready, and extremely flexible with my crazy schedule.I would recommend East Coast to anyone looking for great service, value, and competitive pricing...and dont bother shopping around, I promise you will not be disappointed. They even helped recommend a tile installer for the backsplash, Horacio who has also been amazing. Thank you East Coast for making our home stunning!!!

Responded quickly to measuring appointment request and scheduled install quickly. However, the undermounted sink has at least 1/4 of sink showing all the way around. This ledge collects junk and is impossible to clean; completely defeating the point of an undermounted sink. I think the hole was just mis-measured. The seam blending is ok, but on the edge theres a misalignment that is noticeable to the touch. I like the granite, just wish the sink hole was appropriately sized.
