I recently replaced my counter tops and flooring through KJ Natural Stone. I originally met Nanfer and his wife while out at a casual dinner one evening with a friend and we struck up a conversation about his work and experiences. It was a very pleasant conversation so a few months later when it was time to move forward with the flooring project I new he was the man for the job. He initially came and took measurements for the flooring, I went to his showroom that afternoon and ended up with quotes on not just the flooring but the granite counter tops as well. KJ Natural Stone replaced my Corian kitchen and bath countertops with Quartzite stone countertops and the kitchen backsplash with new ceramic tile. I chose KJ Natural Stone to renovate my entire kitchen. All existing cabinets were sanded and painted, high quality granite counter tops and under cabinet/inside pantry lighting installed, back splash, faux wainscoting in the breakfast room, and painting. I worked primarily with Tingy and had an excellent experience. She offered suggestions and options that were extremely helpful. I give them a perfect score in all areas that are important to me. Punctuality, communication, quality of workmanship, pricing and integrity were all at the pinnacle. Simply put, they did everything they said they would do, when they said, for the price quoted. The finished product exceeded my expectations.

I had my kitchen countertops replaced. The work crew arrived on time and ready to work. They took care to cover my floors to protect them from foot traffic. These guys were fast, efficient and diligent. They worked quietly and cleaned up after them selves. The quality of the material and the workmanship was superb. I would refer them to anyone needed custom work of this type.

This review is long overdue but, I still needed to complete it because this company deserves an A rating. Beginning with the owner, Nanfer- there was a certain trusting quality about him and he didn’t mince words. The crew who measured and installed the actual granite countertops and our sink, were all very good.

I got my kitchen counter top, kitchen sink, kitchen backslash, counter top for my island and by bathroom counter top and backslash from KJ Natural Stone. I highly recommend them, their workmen ship was great, they did an excellent job on everything and made really great design recommendations, the one I like the most was to add Crystallo (the type of counter top I got ) to my knee wall (see attached) which separated my kitchen from the family room, it was a really nice touch and I love it. The people there were great to work with and very patient not at all pushy. It definitely feels like they want you to get what you really want and not just what will make the most money for them. In building my house I worked with a lot of businesses especially small ones, that were very disappointing but there was nothing disappointing about KJ Natural stone I love the Crystallo I got from them, it is translucent very unique and beautiful

KJ Natural Stone installed my granite kitchen counter tops a few years ago. The work was fantastic! That is why I contracted with them again to install my quartz bathroom countertops and sinks. Beautiful job!

KJ was super helpful through the entire kitchen remodel process. They made the countertop selection and install really easy and painless.

Granite I picked out was beautiful and looks great in my kitchen. Thats where the one star ends.Read your estimates and then your post- template invoices even closer! They added extra square footage and other items and demanded I sign and approve before they can schedule the installation... which had already been scheduled. Threatening that Id lose my place... and the office staff was very rude when I questioned the charges. They forgot who the customer was. 😒Install was NOT smooth, either. Forgot to put the sink underneath in the cabinet first so had to remove the installed granite to install the sink, then reinstalled the granite. Then their plumber never showed up so they took my final payment then left me to deal with him when he did arrive hours later. Spoke Spanish and plumber so I couldnt help. He left and only installed the faucet. Said hed be back the next day. My contractor and I waited for hours. He never showed. Had to get my own plumber. Needless to say I stopped payment on the check because it included $300 for the plumbing work. I quickly received a new invoice with the plumbing removed and a stop payment charge added. Hmm. I should bill them for the time my contractor sat with me waiting on him. Not to mention my time. Truly the worst experience of any remodel Ive ever done.

When we decided to visit the KJ Natural Stone showroom, our goal was to see what stones were available, their prices, and to get a feel for what kind of service we would be getting. In addition to these expectations, we did have one very important regard in mind, and that was that we didn’t want to do business with a company whose performance resembles the substandard service we experienced at Home Depot or Lowe’s. In other words, we were hoping to find a company that would yield personal and efficient service throughout the complete process of selection, purchasing, and installation. Natural Stone met these objectives and beyond.The front counter personnel set the tone with a warm and authentic greeting, and that level and style of communication persisted throughout our month-long project with Natural Stone.Our calls and electronic messages were always promptly answered, our requests consistently accommodated, and the installation was carried out in a timely and efficient manner. When the job was fully accomplished and paid for, we felt we had made new friends.

We had countertop, partial backsplash and new sink installed in our kitchen...excellent quality material (Quartzite) and Dakota double sink...Nanfer, Jorge and Giovanni were prompt, professional and polite with the measurements, estimate and installation...they offered clear explanation for the care of the countertop and sink, as well suggestions for painting and other accessories that we could do ourselves.Pleasureful and very satisfying experience.

I am absolutely in love with my new counters! This was the first time we ever did any type of major remodeling in our home. We had a significant amount of backsplash installed yesterday by KJ Natural Stone. It included subway tile, mosaic, and lots of trim in a kitchen and a laundry room. Antonio (from KJ) had measured the job before we chose an installer. We spoke with a few but decided to go with KJ, so Antonio and Jose arrived ready to start. They did an amazing job, and were able to do the install and the grout in one day. My wife is a manager at a large granite and stone supplier, and has worked extensively with tile. She was exceptionally pleased with the work that was done. When they were finished, Antonio and Jose replaced all the outlet covers, and left things cleaner than they were to begin with. I highly recommend KJ Natural Stone.

Its a lot more telling by how a company responds when things dont go smoothly. We had an issue with a cutout size which could not be fixed. KJ Stone not only replaced it with no hassle, but had another piece installed within a week. What more could anyone ask for? Their installers are awesome...extremely careful, have an eye for detail, and clean. We got to experience that level of attention twice. Thank you...we love our granite counters.

Just amazing. The team helped us select great granite for our bathrooms. They also fixed our kitchen granite. More important was their helpfulness. I forgot about having a plumber to connect the sinks after they changed the granite and they called their plumber and he was at our house until 6pm making sure we had our plumbing connected....at no extra charge!! Just hire them they are great.

Tingy met our needs for granite choice and pricing, even after changing slabs. We checked pricing at a competitor. They were early for the install, did a good job installing, and left minimum mess. Kj Natural Stone was absolutely the best company to work with. I had a granite kitchen counter installed which is beautiful. The edging and cut of the granite is perfect. Beginning from the estimate process (which was very professionally done) then going to the warehouse to chose my stone, the personnel went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The crew who installed the granite were the same. The job was completed in one afternoon and the clean up was outstanding. The price for the work was very reasonable. I would recommend Kj Natural Stone to anyone without hesitation.

After spending almost $9000 in granite they were repeatedly late, or didnt show up.The granite is beautiful, but they send you to Cosmos to pick that out.The only reason they get 1 star is for the salesman who was very nice.We will not go back.

We have done two projects with KJ Natural Stone over the past 6 months and are delighted with the results of both. One project was a complete remodel of our Master Bath and the other was the remodel of another bath, they supplied the counter tops for the vanities and installed the related plumbing fixtures and drains. This is a family run business and they work well together - great attitude always trying to be helpful with making selections and providing well informed input on the decisions that have to be made. Oscar, the son, was very helpful to my wife in selecting the granite colors to go with our other colors and finishes. Once all were installed the wisdom of the selections was apparent - I do not think on our own we could have come up with granite that we would have liked more. Oscar knows every granite by name, there must be over a hundred, and what they will look like with the other colors you have in mind.We met the owners, Nanfer and his wife, at the Home Show in Raleigh and were intrigued by their suggestion that if we could find a granite we liked in their inventory of Drops, Remnants, that they could offer very good pricing. We found they had a large inventory and with Oscars help who provided several possible colors, we made our selections. The pricing was very good for the type granites we selected, very high end granites without paying the premium price for that granite. Naturally, not all granites will be available in Drops, and the bigger the sizes you need the less there will be - they do have a large selection though.My background is in design and construction and I do understand the various surprises that come up during the process. They did an excellent job in scheduling and being honest with us as to when they could get our job through their shop and installed. The installation crew was very neat, polite, and professional. I will go out of my way to use this family run business in the future.

TERRIBLE CUSTERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was on the phone talking to the owner, just trying to ask some questions for my mom (she dose not speak English). THE OWNER, he cant hold his temper and hang up on me. YOURE the owner and cant even deal with the CUSTOMER, YELL at the CUSTOMER. It was very AWFUL to experience such a service. Truly horrific customer service.

We had gone to our share of local natural stone companies and couldnt find a good fit, both cost and personality wise. And then we went to KJ Natural Stone. From the second we walked in the door to the final step in installation, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. They listen, they make constructive suggestions and they truly help you through the entire process. AND - everything they say they will do, and when they will do it, they follow through on. I wanted to order small marble bathroom vanity top. I was talking to Oscar. He told me, that he had the piece for me. When I came to the store, he stated that somebody else had the first choice before me, because my price was a price for the left over material.I was informed that somebody should come next day. Afternext day I never heard from him. I was the only one who called (I left him 2 phone numbers). At the show room, I even asked, if he wants my business, because if not I would rather go to another place.After few days, I called again.This time a woman answered the phone, and she was rather impatient. She stated, that Oscar is with another customer and he would call me soon. One month passed and nobody apologized and called me. What a RUDE treatment of customers! I made a right choice, and went to another place where I was able to choose from two different slabs of marble for much better price and I was treated like a valued customer.

Granite for a kitchen and two bathrooms was installed last week. The office team made selection of granite and installation scheduling easy. The installation team and the plumber were professional and courteous. I am very with the job happy so far. Backsplash will be installed this week to complete the job. Couldn’t be happier with KJ Natural Stone. I went in needing a vanity top in a real hurry. Norvin greeted me as soon as I walked in. Explained to him that I needed this job done the following week and he was able to pull it off. His guys showed up when they said they would and the vanity looks great! I have 3 other vanities I’d like to have done and I will go to KJ first.

I recently replaced aging laminate countertops in the kitchen with granite. I am very satisfied with the product and service from KJ Natural Stone. I decided to add granite lip backsplash after the countertops were installed. Mr.Nanfer did a great job for that as well, at a reasonable price. The whole process was smooth.

This company worked great for us, and talk about speedy turn around! The owner / dad came out ON CHRISTMAS EVE to take dimensions, and he gave me a firm price that didnt change after completion. We even trusted them enough to let them come make a stencil while we were out of the house! Our outdoor kitchen granite cracked and the original installer was unwilling to assist, so I found Kj Natural Stone on Google and they were willing to come out the very next day. From first contact to fully repaired was only 5 days!!! That was better service than I received from the original installer to whom I paid a LOT of money! I validated the cost with another granite company, and the second price was 25% more than the proposal from Kj Natural Stone.The work was done well and everyone in the process was professional and knowledgeable.Highly recommend!!

Weve had KJ do three jobs for us now and we were very pleased with the end results. They showed up on time and did a great job. When there were some minor issues, they sent someone out immediately to make things right. Ive enjoyed working with Norvin; he is very knowledgable, friendly and responsive.

The guy comes to my home and I requested him to either put on the shoe covers or take off his shoes to avaoid any germs as COVID-19 is still spreading. He says he doesn’t have mud on his shoes. He was very stubborn that he didn’t take off his shoes, he said bye and left with anger. I am glad that I didn’t get any work started with so unprofessional people.

We just had our granite, sinks and new faucets installed by KJ Natural Stone and they have been so great to work with! Oscar is always professional and responds quickly. His father, Mr Nanfer gave a fair estimate and even helped us pick out a pattern which we love. They are confident and very experienced. The installation team was courteous and in and out in a few hours. We highly recommend them!

Doing business with the folks at KJ Natural Stone was one of the best experiences we have ever had with anyone in doing a home improvement project. They were very friendly and professional from picking out the granite, taking the measurements, scheduling the work, and installing the product. The selection of granite that they have is one of the best I have seen. When you compare their selection to the big box stores the difference is significant. Along with that we found their prices to be very competitive with the big box stores even though KJs quality was much better. The installation process was great. They did everything on schedule and the installers were very professional and paid attention to detail.We were totally satisfied with their work and are loving our new kitchen! Whenever we visit other homes in the area, we can’t help but notice their counter tops and realize ours are the most unique and beautiful ones we have ever seen. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

These guys are awesome. They replaced our kitchen countertops about 4 years ago. I called them for some guidance on how to address some cracking in the caulk around the back splash. My marble is beautiful! Oscar helped us to choose just the perfect stone to go with our paint and tile. We actually bought the first piece we looked at. Installation was easy and professional. There were some strange kinks in our bathroom and they figured out how to make it look just perfect! This was our second bathroom granite purchase from Kj Natural Stone. Everyone that we worked with from sales, measuring, installing, etc. was extremely courteous and professional. You wont go wrong buying from this family run business. They take great pride in their work!

KJ had done beautiful work for us on several projects. Most recently, they redid our master bath with new tile, new granite counter and sink and new fixtures. Previously they did a great job installing granite kitchen counter tops and tile back splash and granite vanity tops in 2 bathrooms.Nanfer and Oscar were very easy to work with and bent over backwards to accommodate us, working with our wish to provide some of our own materials and fixtures.The workmen were very professional, meticulous, and easy to communicate with. They cleaned up very well after each step in the process.We will continue to recommend KJ Natural Stone to our friends and acquaintances.

I can’t begin to tell you what a great experience I had. To begin with, Norberto was simply amazing; answered all my questions; was patient with me; and helped me make the very important decorating/matching decisions. The installers were polite and timely, and their workmanship was excellent. I absolutely LOVE my new kitchen.

This is probably the best granite and stone supplier in the area. I called 5 local companies out to my house for estimates and this was the only one that actually showed up. I enlisted their help and was amazed at their customer service and quality work. I would highly recommend working with Oscar if you choose this company. Also worth noting they have a large showroom, 30 years of knowledge and experience and they are right across the street from the distributor so you can literally choose any stone you have in mind and get it the same week!

Just had my granite installed today, it looks fabulous! Everyone was so nice from the owner and his sons, to the installers and the plumber. Oscar helped me pick out my granite so that it matched my existing tile. Today at the install appointment, I realized that I had purchased one wrong bathroom sink fixture, I called the office and Oscar arranged for the plumber to wait for me while I purchased the correct one and then he installed it for me. I really loved working with this wonderful family owned business. Thanks to all the guys who worked on the install; Eric, Carlos and Mateo the Plumber.

The installation of new countertops at our house by KJ exceeded our expectations. They made a fabulous recommendation, were professional and timely throughout the work. The installation day went without issues and we felt comfortable contacting them before and after the sale. We would recommend this firm to anyone and would not hesitate to use them again ourselves. We love our new countertops. KJ Natural Stone was easy to work with, had great communication, and gave us a great deal. We liked that they handled the plumbing too and we didn’t have to hire and coordinate with an outside plumber. We had a couple of issues after installation where a pipe under the sink dripped and then found the dishwasher hookup had been accidentally disconnected. When I called during normal business hours, I got an immediate response and the plumber was sent right out both times. I was impressed by how our concerns were addressed so quickly. We recommend!

These people have a heart of gold. My budget was so limited, I shopped pricing for months. Mr. LOPEZ was so gracious & understanding of my circumstance & tried his best to accommodate me. I was somewhat skeptical of the outcome, but ecstatic & marveled with the result.
