Great little local coffee shop! Fast service, great drinks and a friendly staff! For those not familiar with Raleigh, it is only about a 4-5 minute drive from I-440 if you take the Wake Forest Rd exit. I like going into the store to order but for those interested they also have a drive through. Additionally, both bathrooms are gender neutral which is great for those in the LGBT+ community.

Every time Ive visited Deja Brew I have a great experience. The customer service is always on point and the coffee is delicious. Im a fan of the Java mocha rush, the ground up chocolate covered coffee beans are so good. We tried a bit of the food they offer and it was good as well. I believe we had the chocolate bread (pound cake?) And it was right in line with the exceptional experience were accustomed too.

First time caller! I was on this side of town and wrapped up early so found this place on Google Maps looking for an independent coffee house. It looked closed from the outside but I saw cars in the drive-thru so tried my luck at the door, happy to see a few folks dining inside the well-spaced out cafe. I ordered an egg sandwich on a bagel and a hot tea. The server in training was very nice and did a great job, even bringing my selections to my seat after I had sat down. The baked goods looked tasty, but I resisted... today. 😜 I will definitely stop in here again when on this side of town.

First time customer and never felt more relaxed and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice calming environment with excellent service and quality coffee. Love this place and I will be coming back for more soon.

Excellent coffee and good selection of breakfast sandwiches and sweet bakery items. Love the cute little action figures in the pickup window. The drive through exit is a bit tight and unless careful you may get a curb rash on your left front wheel. Overall worth a drive to the area even on weekends just for the wonderful aroma.

There was once a time when this was my go to coffee spot. I drive past 4 others to get here and would gladly do it. Price was good service was quick things were great.Now prices have increased drastically previously 2 drinks and 2 bagels with cream cheese was around the 14 dollar mark now the same stuff is 20. service is slower and the staff puts out an inconsistent product at the best of times. Sometimes the bagel is a reasonable amount of cream cheese other times it is just enough to cover the surface. It almost pains me to say it but I think I’ve had my last experience with them. Hope y’all can get it turned around.

Coffee is delicious, but overpriced for a 20 oz ice mocha ($6.44) (did ask for a medium....i guess one size) most coffee places are like $4.75 or $5.50. Plus, not enough ice to have the drinks to be cold served. I suggest go to another coffee shop like caribou or NoRa cafe.

Today was my first visit and I cant wait to go back. Good coffee. Nice breakfast snacks. Awesome environment. I came to study for finals and had a really productive study session. The employees were nice as well.

Great atmosphere inside of a secluded little shop. They have lots of comfortable, high-backed chairs to sit and enjoy a coffee or meal. This place is great for casual meetings. Their tea and coffee brews are excellent and you can try samples of the coffee before you choose. The lighting is cozy and warm. They have some interesting art on the walls. Bathrooms clean and fresh. Overall great coffee shop and Cafe.

Very friendly staff. I have been several times for coffee. Sometimes, I grab my cup to go and other times and I sit inside to enjoy. I went through the drive through with my pups and they offered doggie treats and the holiday latte ☕️ was delicious 😊🐶♥️

Gone down hill, the flavor just isn’t there in any of the coffees I get. There’s never enough ice in the large iced coffee to even make it cold, just going to stop getting coffee here. Sadly can get a better iced coffee at Dunkin

Ever since Kevin showed me the spot, its been my favorite. I believe this is one of Raleighs best kept secrets, and its my favorite places to relax and grab a a vanilla caramel macchiato almond milk coffee 😍👍 they have great non-dairy options and gluten-free oatmeal. As always, the atmosphere is warm and relaxing with plenty of comfortable seats and tables. They have great clean bathrooms too!! I would put this high on my list of study places probably 2nd or 3rd if not first. I honestly wish I was closer because I would go here more often!! Love it 😍 keep it up guys!!

Coffee is great, drive thru is a nightmare to get through in an SUV. Also wish all of the employees would wear masks during the mandate. One guy who seemed like a manager was not and it was really odd.

To be clear- DB’s coffee is great, very delicious.... my upset is with the marketing! I went thru the drive thru this morning and ordered a drink that says on the menu board $4.85... when I pulled up to pay, the cashier days $5.95? I asked for a receipt, and was told it can be only be emailed? No business should operate without giving a receipt as required and requested. I asked about the difference in price, and was told they increased and the menu board is over 2 months old. That is very misleading to customers, and should be updated asap!

This establishment is requiring patrons to wear a mask to be in line at the register (but not anywhere else inside or outside including the drive-thru) despite the CDC and the state of NC lifting the mask mandate. Either follow their guidance or dont but dont make up your own rules.I get that its a private business so they have the right to do as they please but I also have the right to review the business accordingly.

Went on a little coffee meet up. It was extremely Covid friendly. I loved how distant everything was. The staff was great and made a few awesome recommendations. This would also be a good place to step out and work if you are working remote, and they have a drive through. I will totally go back to this place.

Great little coffee shop making very reliable lattes. I feel like a good latte shouldnt be hard, but a lot of places just dont make it right. Never a problem at deja brew. Also, the prices are very reasonable and the people are always nice. Good drive through too.

Decent coffee and never an issue with customer service. The drive-thru is very tight as is evident by the many paint colors on the curb and other objects along the way. The main con is a 16oz latte costs $6.22 after tax. Thats rather expensive for a single drink.

This place is so amazing. I started coming here after Covid shut most places down, but Deja Brew figured out a way to keep their indoor seating open safely; and so another coffee shop — which I will not name here — has probably lost my business permanently at this point. Unfortunately, I live about 15 minutes away, so I wouldnt have probably known this place existed if it hadnt been for a friend — but now Im addicted.They are super polite and have an amazing selection of sugar free syrups and alternative dairy options. They know your name by your third visit and even if you dont get the same drink every time, they definitely know your usuals.Although Ive neve ordered from their food menu, they have a lot of options from pastries and fruit to fresh made sandwiches and oatmeal.The smells are good, at least!Also, I dont know who chooses the music, but its always incredible...super eclectic mix of punk rock ranging from the 70s to the 90s, riot girl, rock and roll, and a lot of pseudo-underground stuff. If you walk into a coffee shop for the first time and the manager tells you they like your Bikini Kill bag, then you know youre with family.

Discovered this spot when gps sent us to a place that was closed and are soooo glad we did! Will definitely be back whenever in the area. Friendly staff and fast service...but the drinks were amazing! I had the mocha java chip and my daughter had an iced caramel macchi and they were both perfect! If what you want is not on the menu just ask, Im sure they can make it for you. Why be just another number at a national chain when you can enjoy much better coffee from a locally owned business?

Deja Brew is a nice coffee shop in mid-to-north Raleigh. Unlike many local coffee shops, they have a drive through, so you can get your joe on the go while supporting a local business instead of defaulting to a big corporation for convenience.They have lots of seating inside and a smallish covered patio section outside.There are some baked goods available—the selection isn’t huge, nor do they seem to be prepared onsite, but they are still tasty, and this is a coffee shop, not a pastry shop.The manager/owner/person in authority who was there when I visited was very nice, and they made sure everyone had a great experience and great coffee.

Love that they still have pumpkin syrup out in March. It made my day to have a pumpkin latte on that chilly morning. 😊☕

Great local coffee shop! Definitely the best priced coffee shop in the area. My go-to is a hot latte, but I’ve also had their iced blended latte. The hot latte is always really good, never bitter and the milk is frothed really well. I really like the iced blended latte because it isn’t too sweet, but they have flavors if you prefer a sweeter drink.The staff is friendly and the drinks are ready quickly. They also have a drive-thru. **Be careful leaving the drive-thru - can be easy to hit the curb turning out of the drive thru.

I love deja brew! I go there almost twice a week and they treat me with the most kindness I could ask for😊 the coffee is delicious and I would definitely Recommend. Deja Brew is a super quaint, locally owed coffee shop. Theyre following all COVID-19 precautions... limited seating, proper spacing, required masks, cleanings, etc. The staff was super friendly, from Charlie, the manager to Adrielle, a barista, and Birgit, serving the counter! Our coffee and lunch order was accurate and tasty with great depth of flavor in the coffee. Tip: if you have a sweet tooth like me, order full syrups; if preference is coffee over syrup sweetness like my husband, order 1/2 syrups. Great overall experience, and well visit again!

Friendly staff, great coffee and cappuccino. Funky monkey is super sweet but delicious. Cappuccino had a great foam and wasnt too bitter.

This place is great. The staff is very personable. The coffee is incredible. And, dont even get me started on the muffins. I love the bran muffin. Savory. You need to sit in this cozy nook and share a muffin with a friend. Yes, the muffin is large enough to share and still feel completely satisfied. Even when its full of people, its not noisy. They keep the music very low and that keeps everything nice and quiet. Great coffee shop!

Staff are really friendly. Im a regular now, to the point that the baristas ask as Im walking in the door if Im having my usual (cafe mocha.. and yes on the whipped cream, thank you). The coffee is good and the food is delicious. All of it is reasonably priced. Id love to see an expanded food menu, but I understand thats not the focus here. I highly recommend Deja Brew... just dont sit in my favorite spot before I get there. 😉

We love Deja Brew! Its in a very convenient location, the staff are always very friendly, and the overall space is a nice spot to enjoy some lovely weather or get some work done. Ive even seen people host book clubs or crochet sessions there as the seating is very comfortable and convenient. Ive had a few study sessions there myself and am always able to get work done without having the issue of actually finding a seat to do so; which has always been a problem for me at Starbucks or Barnes & Noble for example. There have only been a couple times where our drinks tasted a little off or were not the right, but they were quick and happy to fix them for us (plus I believe these times were only when they just hired some new staff). Weve been long-time customers and will continue to be for excellent, local service!

We came by at closing on Friday and we were so thankful that the guy working took our orders at the last minute. We ordered our drinks both with “half pumps” or half the amount of syrup as usual because our drinks are always borderline too sweet previously. As soon as we drove off, I sipped my drink (salted caramel mocha, yes I know it’s typically a sweet drink) and I literally almost vomited. It was SO overly sweet that it made my stomach hurt. I wish I could have better experiences here!

Quaint place that has a pretty large selection of specialty drinks. They have some food items as well which is great for a quick bite or light lunch. (I needed to eat before my workout.) the decor is homey, it’s perfect for a first date or working from the field. It’s quiet but allows for work to get done.

Best dirty chai in town

I am brand new to NC and I am still seeking all the hot spots and good golly I found one...I went to this place after reading the reviews this morning bc I was in dire need of a good strong latte and this place DID NOT disappoint!! Staff was very friendly and the White Chocolate Mocha Latte was AMAZING!!! The espresso was smooth and it didn’t have that burnt taste to it. Needless to say I will definitely be back. Their coffee really does have Starbucks beat.

Always enjoyable place to get coffee. This was my first time during COVID and first time not using the drive-thru. The drive-thru is always pretty fast. Even this day there were four cars in line all the time, but always looked like new cars everytime I looked out. Got a variety of drinks-a cold latte, warm vanilla latte, plain latte, and milkshake. Only wish they had more options for dairy free, they had almond milk. Wouldve liked to see coconut like other independent coffee houses.

A very unique spot! When paintings of Miles Davis, Billie Holliday, and Ray Charles are on the walls of a coffee house, there needs to be no explanation. The place is chill.Its nice that I can work there on my laptop and have coffee and snacks and actually be able to concentrate because its not too loud in there. I LOVE that they dont play the music too loud. I dont have to leave my seat and go sit in my car for a conference call and HOPE Ill have a seat when I come back. Other coffee houses, on the other hand are sooooo loud...I like the living room atmosphere. So cozy.Please open more stores.

I like that they have a drive thru, and they are definitely a step up from Starbucks. The pastries and bagels are good as well.I am pretty picky about coffee so I wouldnt say this is my favorite as far as taste. But as I said, if youre looking for something quick thats better than Starbucks, then this is the place!

I used to think really highly of this coffee shop, until this morning. I thought i found my new favorite spot. I was craving a coconut frozen coffee drink. Well it took me 22 minutes to get it and the drink was wrong. No one even acknowledged the fact i was waiting so long. I dislike mint. When i finally get my drink, somehow i got a coconut frozen coffee drink with mint flavor in it. Yuck. I was so mad i couldnt bring myself to go back in there. That experience really got me mad and unfortunately I wont be back.

Coffee was good. Service was most excellent and courteous. Only complaint is being over-charged due to a rogue point of sale issue. The owner took care of it though and its not an issue. Cozy space with good, solid offerings. Very nice place to sit and get work done while people-watching, too.

I love this place. I come here every morning to get my coffee before work. However, a woman that works here named CJ was extremely rude to me. I couldn’t remember the name of the drink that I normally get and she was extremely rude about me not remembering. I will no longer come here because of her and it is extremely unfortunate that she works here. If she didn’t work here I would come back. She needs to be fired.

The people and coffee here are always great. It was a delightful treat to see them open today. I tried the Vanilla Caramel Latte and I was not disappointed. Creamy, delicious, and strong. Thats how I like my coffee. I was very tempted by the cakes and treats by the counter but, I had to fight my feelings. Uuggghhh. Sometimes we have to deny ourselves.

Great coffee house for meetings and lap topping. They have several blends of coffee on tap at all times. There is a drive through window.

Then coffee has a home-brewed taste about it. When I approach then counter Im greeted enthusiastically. There are very nice reading chairs you could take a nap in and get there early or you may have to sip n stand.

I really like this place. The coffee is very good but the breakfast sandwich is just okay. Bagel is good and the cream cheese is a generous portion.

I absolutely adore this coffee shop, as well as the staff. My husband and I go here frequently. The staff are friendly, the drive thru service is amazing. We love supporting locally owned businesses when we can. It really has brought a community feel to the quail corner / quail hollow area. Definitely stop by!

I absolutely love the name of this wonderful little coffee shop almost as much as I enjoy their coffee! With a wide range of bold/light roast flavors, this is a great local coffee place. I recommend the Vietnamese blend, which is darker, but also sweeter.
