Best bakery ever!! I really love their cakes and pastries. Service was amazing, one who helped me was very friendly and nice. It was my first time and he explain whole menu for me☺️ Also, I got sample of apple slushee and it was AMAZINGG💕💕 I’ll definitely going back for slushee and some breads! Love it!

I love Anisette. They take really good care of vegans and non-vegans alike. The sweets are delicious, try the vegan cinnamon rolls for sure. They also experiment with custard pies which are one of my favorite desserts. I had a maple custard slice there once and it was outrageous. They also make great coffee drinks, the staff is super friendly, and the vibe and energy is really good in the shop.

Cool little bakery and sweet shop with some delicious pastries.They had a nice live music on Saturday as well..I enjoyed the oat milk brownie and buckwheat mini cake. I wanted to try the scones but they were already out by the time I got there..

My absolute FAVORITE coffee shop/bakery in the the area. Locally owned by the sweetest couple that are so passionate about their delicious baked goods + drinks! They offer vegan baked good options and alternative milk as well, which is a huge plus. Awesome chai and Raleigh fog drinks–those are my go-to orders.

This place is SO. GOOD. I have wanted a vegan cinnamon roll for years and finally found them here! My husband and I each got one (he isn’t even vegan) and they were out of this world! We will definitely be back to try their other options! Also, their online ordering was efficient and easy to use. The worker who helped was kind and very helpful. Great, great place!

Came by today for the first time and had the best experience, delicious pastries and such friendly service! Tried the banana sesame scone, olive oil cinnamon bun and lemon slushie. Everything was amazing!Ended up talking to the owner for a few minutes, such a nice person. Told us about their commitment to local ingredients, sourcing coffee from all over the world and that their menu changes frequently. Looking forward to trying more pastries, and getting the slushie again!

And friendly service by the kind of people who make it a point to remember you and ask about life. Decorated by local artists, this charming bakery is a regular stop for my people - and for their own neighbors.

Excellent customer service! Got the snickerdoodle latte and it was amazing! Jason gave us samples of the apple cider slushies and I think it was the best slushie Ive ever had! Went on a rainy day and everything was brought right out to the car. Definitely worth it!

Baked goods are delicious. And the coffee is especially good here. Even offering pour overs. I had the sticky bun with lemon glaze and it was a delight. The space is small and a bit out of the way, but tucked away and convenient to the neighborhood it is in. Staff was incredibly friendly, walked me through their baked goods and even gave me a free sample. I will definitely come back.

Havent been to every bakery in the city, but I dont think its a stretch to say Anisette is one of the best. The baked goods are all unique and delicious and the slushie drinks are really fun. They rotate most of their pastries on a weekly basis, which means theres almost always something new to try. Also, the couple that owns it are some of the nicest people youll ever meet.

One of those best kept secrets in Raleigh. Amazing bakery items that change each week. Cantucci each week in a variety of flavors (if you saw the Stanley Tucci Florence episode, you know these are great with wine). My favorite drink is the Laura Palmer. Great outdoor area to enjoy your treats.

Super friendly staff and very patient with us. Explained the bakery options and gave us recommendations. We had the olive oil cinnamon rolls, lemon coconut pie, and cranberry crumble cake. My whole family family enjoyed them and left no extras. Will definitely be coming back!

A bit on the pricy side. However, it is an independent small bakery and they obviously put effort into their creations.They ran out of the Cherry scone that I wanted at 10 am on a Saturday morning.

Delicious treats, I had to buy one of every thing to try the other day when visiting for the first time with my husband and son. The staff and owner Jason are so friendly, too! Their menu constantly changes, so I cant wait to go back to try more of their creations.

Owner Nicole is the former head confectioner at Videri Chocolate and her expertise shows. The baked goods at Anisette are wonderful -- sometimes rich, sometimes delicate, and never overly sweet. Patrons expecting typical American-style baked goods (i.e., super sweet) may be in for a taste bud readjustment. Nicoles creations are more in keeping with European baked goods; they focus more on flavor than sweetness. (Which isnt to say they arent sufficiently sweet; they just arent cloyingly so.) Co-owner Jason has made Anisette a destination for coffee connoisseurs. They carry a variety of coffees you wont find anywhere else in the Triangle, and Jason can recommend a selection guaranteed to meet your particular tastes. Since Anisette opened in November, 2016, Ive been a regular and have appreciated that Nicole makes an effort to have at least one vegan option available most days of the week and always on weekends. The photo is of her vegan Sesame Cocoa Apple Cake. Yum! I look forward to Anisettes second location opening full-time (they did a Saturday-only trial run in summer, 2017) in Oakwood in 2018.

This place is amazing!!! I’m not exaggerating. My husband and are foodies and we’re really picky when it comes to baked goods. This place has the best baked goods I’ve had in the area. You can tell they use high quality fresh ingredients with such a homemade touch...like if your grandma made it just for you. Honestly, you can taste their love for quality baking in their baked goods! Try their Peach Rhubarb pie and their cinnamon rolls. It was out-of-this-world good!!!Also their staff is incredibly friendly!

Love this little gem, I cant believe its been so close to my work and I had no idea.The interior is so cute! And Im excited to try more of the baked treats. I tried a sweet rye bun and a cappuccino and both were delicious. The sweet bun was not overly sweet, and had a nice chewy texture.Definitely will be back.

While I loved the bakerys ambience and the staff was extraordinarily awesome, I was disappointed in the fact that there was no standard, normal dessert available (like chocolate chip cookies, brownies, etc.). And, while I liked the view out back, I felt that it could use a little sprucing up to feel more comfortable and less like I was in an abandoned lot. But, to be honest, what I did have was delicious and, again, the staff was incredibly kind and generous.

Just the nicest people. Ive tried so many things and although I liked them, there hasnt been anything that I actually loved enough to get again. Maybe its because Im a Southerner raised on too much butter and sugar, lol, but everything tastes a bit too tart to me, as though its missing a little sugar or butter or something.

So I was just delivering mail on this route and stumbled upon this little gem. First of all, its locally owned and operated in a quaint little shopping center off of Capital Boulevard.The young lady who waited on me was kind, vibrant and incredibly eager to help with my selection. I was sold on an iced coffee and a cinnamon roll....Let me tell you....Cinnabon who?! It was PHENOMENAL!

This is one of my favorite shops in Raleigh. Every time I go in every person that works there is kind, warm, and genuine. They will explain so the food to you, make recommendations, and are extremely patient. not to mention everything Ive ever had is delicious. Do not miss this little shop!

I am addicted to both the pastries here, which rotate daily, and also the yummy coffee soda that they make. I get the one that has cold brew, cream, vanilla, and soda water. So refreshing! They are really friendly and always take the time to explain all the items of the day.

A quaint little shop that has some really amazing pastries and excellent coffee. This Cafe is so cute! Very adorable inside and a nice place to be in. I dont drink coffee so I cant speak on that but being vegan I really appreciated their vegan dessert- they had vegan cinnamon rolls that were sooo good. Ill definitely be coming back!

This shop is truly a gem of Raleighs coffee/bakery culture. Jason is the sweetest and you can tell that he and his staff love what they do! Ive yet to try a confection of theirs that I dont like! Whenever friends visit me in town this is always where I take them.

I only wish I had tried this sooner! Absolute best baked goods in the triangle. Hubby and I are blown away by not only the vegan options, but also the quality of food, phenomenal service, and tasty drink options. There is something for everyone and I must recommend...well, everything.

A wonderful addition to Raleigh! Excellent made from scratch baked goods - cookies, scones, cakes, tarts, meringues, granola, etc - the selection changes. Everything is flavorful with just the right amount of sweetness to allow the flavors to come through! Some of my favorites are the pine nut olive oil cake, sugar biscuits, cinnamon meringues and malted oatmeal cookies. And they have a great selection of coffees from different roasters across the US. Their coffee recommendations are always spot-on!

Small with excellent but unpretentious coffee and tea as well as a smallish selection of rotating, unique, delicious pastries (today featured a cardamon muffin, a cashew butter bun, plum chocolate pie, cherry anise scones, and orange sesame bread in addition to their staples of marangues and biscotti). And the people working there are super friendly. We have found a new favorite place!

I really want to like this place because it’s super adorable but I just had a really awful experience.I ordered (an expensive!) chai latte that was literally ALL foam. Just a cup of foam. It was disgusting, not one sip of liquid to be had. When I asked him to add more milk he said he couldn’t because they use a frother so it’s all foam?? That’s not what a latte is. I told him I didn’t want it and now I’m out $4 as he didn’t offer to refund me. Oh and he took 10 minutes to make the latte! My son was done with his treat by the time I got my drink. And there were no other customers. Their baked treats are dry too. I won’t be back. Not good customer service.Two stars for how cute it is inside!

The coffee and tea drinks are great but the baked goods all lacked flavor. We tried several different items hoping they would be great but they all tasted like nothing.

Neighborhood feel, good daily variety, items are made with care, very friendly staff. Prices seem a little high, but are consistent with the artisanal feel.
