Amazing store! The employees are so helpful and don’t try to push the most expensive items on you and even offer to find the consignment option for you to help with cost. The only thing I wish they had were more elective options for high schoolers.

I always have a great experience here. I appreciate how the staff is willing to give their opinion and show you around to the different used and new curriculums. The new updates make it feel more open and fresh and cleaner.

First time visitors today! Met Julia after about 10 seconds through the door, seeing we were clueless and looking around, she came over and immediately started assessing our needs and wants, gave a tour of the shop, was making recommendations and explaining myths about rules/regs of homeschooling, offering the kids snacks, and showing us how do-able this really could be for our family. She and the staff were amazingly knowledgeable, friendly, and kind to all in the store. We left feeling much more comfortable and confident that our family can do this especially with this fantastic resource under an hour away!

This little store is amazing! I have yet to go in and not be helped by someone with more knowledge than I could ever imagine. Lots to choose from (in a good and overwhelming way), mostly organized and great selection of used curriculum. And even better if they know there is a used book, they will go find it for you if you come to the register with a new book! Could not love this store more.

This place is AMAZING!!! I just started homeschooling my children and I wanted to add a better reading and writing component to our day. The main curriculum that I was looking for is All About Reading. It is currently sold out online, but they had it in store for the exact same price that it is online! I have twins and I wasnt sure what I needed double of, but the staff knew exactly what I needed and didnt try to sell me anything extra! Every person working has homeschooled and their experience is very helpful! I drove over an hour to get here and Im so glad I made the trip! I am recommending this store to everyone I know that might be interested in homeschooling!

I had a good experience. It was my first time there. It was crowded, and stocked with a bunch of stuff. I say that, but I also know (because I heard) that they didnt have a lot of the curriculum that people were wanting because theyve been bought out so quickly with covid being a thing forcing a lot of people to make the switch to homeschool. I did get a couple of new things, and things not related to our purpose of Kindergarten this year, but I dont regret it. Ill be back once things calm a bit, and I get a better handle on the direction of curriculum I want go go in! As far as prices, I dont really know whats fair so I cant attest to that side of things knowledgeably.

It was my very time..Very well stocked, good selection, but kind of wish it was bigger or had more room...too much for such crowded space. Some ladies came ask if I needed help, but the older guy on the register could use some manners and customer service skills.

They have this wonderful consignment system. Great selections, and prices, for those looking for gently used, inexpensive materials. My only issue is that they sell some world-view materials which teach evolution. They are supposed to be a Faith-based dealer. But, I guess in todays society, everyone has to be politically-correct. Also, some sections are a little mixed up. And, a small staff means youll be there a while.

The Homeschool Gathering place has been amazing. I love that I can go in, ask questions, look through curriculum and support a great business. Anytime I have needed something that wasn’t available, they would order it and it would arrive quickly. I live an hr away from the store and have called multiple times looking for something and they have placed items on hold for me and offered to ship it directly to me. The staff is friendly, helpful and fun! The items in the consignment section are always clean and updated. I love that there is a place for homeschoolers to go and save money.

Great resource for homeschool moms and kids. I buy a lot of my curriculum here and often got to browse used classic books for our at home library. I love being able to go and look at different curriculum to make sure I still like what we are using.

The workers were all nice and helpful. I was consigning many years worth of curricula. The gentleman went with me to the car and sorted thru the items to see what would sell. Then he took us inside and helped us label and price everything. He made it simple and painless. Thank you for the great service

I dropped by this store with my son to pick up some preschool/preK materials, since were not sending him to preschool this year. The selection was well organized and broad, including a great variety of used picture books. The staff member who checked me out saw that I was buying a new copy of a book that she thought they might also have in their used section. She went and found it for me, and saved me a few dollars! Everyone was super nice. Definitely recommend if you need these types of educational materials.

Late 2017: In general, always an excellent experience. Bizarre experience recently. Had just finished purchasing about $100 of books, and the lady at the register encouraged us to look at and take some free books. As we were taking the excellent books to the car, the only man working the store made a very public snide comment about taking too many of the free books. Left a very SOUR taste in our mouth after having been loyal customers for years, and after us merely doing what was asked.DEC 2018: Been back several times since then - that mustve been a fluke. Theyve been excellent every time since that one visit. Super helpful for finding curricula, will search out and order curricula that meets your needs.

I am new to homeschooling and was extremely overwhelmed. I came into the store two days ago and was given a checklist by the gentleman working there. I wish I had remembered my manners and asked his name but did not. He helped me to get organized and was helpful again tonight as I had made some choices of materials that would best suit my ADHD child. He did everything that he could to make sure I had the selections I needed. The pricing is wonderful and plan to go back as it is a wonderful resource. THANK YOU!!!

I have never been in the store. I found them online and called looking for MathUsee and they had it and offered to ship it to me for like $4. They were very nice and professional and I plan on going to Raleigh in March and will definitely be stopping by!

Wonderful in every way. I drive 2 hours one way to go to this store when I am within 5 minutes of a homeschool store at least once per week. I felt very welcome there, without feeling pushed. The staff was very helpful in their opinions of the different curricula. As far as the comment about the used stuff needing more origination, I am ok with the stuffed shelves. To make it more organized than it is would require more room. I would prefer to spend extra time pulling things out and putting them back due packed shelves then to have everything displayed perfectly and easily to see. In other words, easier access would equal less choices in the used area. Please, DO NOT CHANGE anything! You guys have nailed what a homeschool store should be like.

Started home schooling last school year and got ALOT of needed help with books. They are VERY patient and thorough and very knowledgable with books, tests, and if they arent sure they ho extra mile to try and find answer to your questions. I highly reccommend and keep going back! :)
