I am not certain on what happened to my car but I had the worst experience and had to drive my car away it being not in good conditions but I did not trust this company after dealing with the lack of respect in person after picking up my car. Oh, and get this, they’re honest!!!One time I took in my Subaru Outback with 300k+ miles that I suspected had a bad head gasket. Welp, I was given an estimate and then promptly talked out of doing the work! Yup. They told me that I was better off trying to trade it in than put any more work into it. I appreciated that advice so much and luckily was able to get a decent trade.I feel like every time I’ve gone in for routine or needed work they have caught something else that needed tending to. And before you even shake your head and say, “so what else did they charge you then?” If it’s something minor they just fix it- no charge.I trust them to be honest with me. They care about the safety of their customers. And they’re good at what they do. The first time I went up there I had an issue another shop couldn’t solve. Well, AutoTek was able to diagnose the issue no problem and gave me a fair price to fix it.

I drive 53 miles each way to have them service our cars. They are honest, efficient and communicate your options extremely well. If anything their prices seem on the low side to me and they stand behind their work.

Dropped my car off to get advice on the steering issue I had, was told by other shops I needed new tires, a ball joint, a control arm, and and tie rods. Auto Tek notified me the same day that I just needed an alignment and tires. So I went ahead and got this done, job was completed the next day. And my car drives so good! No steering to the left at all, wonderful job on the alignment. And I also love the tires :)

I have had only wonderful experiences at Autotek! The first time I came in they were busy and it was the middle of the day. My car had been skipping and I came in because I was supposed to be driving home for the holidays the next day. They squeezed me in and had it all ready to go very quickly! I came back again for another issue and they quickly fixed it again! They are very reasonably priced and they are all so friendly and helpful. I will not go anywhere else and I would recommend them to anyone!!

Initial Post 2016: Professional. Efficient. Affordable. Ive taken my used 2008 Honda Civic to this shop a couple of times now for regular checkups, oil changes and tire rotation. Both times, I was able to get appointments within a week. My appointments were accommodated as scheduled and the maintenance was completed in less than an hour. On my most recent visit, owner Brian chatted with me for a few minutes. He is very knowledgable and passionate about his business and customers and will take great care of your vehicle. I will definitely return for my next checkup and recommend this auto repair shop.Update July 2020: Still a loyal customer of AutoTek. Continue to get my quarterly oil changes and checkups. Had a few car issues that they were able to repair or replace and always within a great time frame and fair pricing. They also did several complimentary tire fixes after my old tires pulled several nails/screws throughout Summer 2019. New tires were do and got estimate last year but never got around it. Finally got new tires this May which was even more affordable than the original estimate. Brian and his team have been fantastic, reasonable, and reliable.

My brakes started grinding on my way into the office. I work .2 miles from Autotek and I gave them a call without an appointment and was told to bring the car on by since it was a safety concern and theyd work me in. They even drove me back to the office for the wait and picked me up when it was done! The estimate for repair came in much lower than I was expecting and everyone I interacted with was incredibly nice and professional. They earned their 5 stars and Id happily trust them with my car any time.

I called on 11/6/19 and spoke to someone about dropping my car off before my flight on 11/8 or 11/15. I also explained the issues I was experiencing and was told I could drop it off on 11/8 and it would be looked at over the weekend. I arrive back Monday morning and was told that nobody knew why my car had been dropped off and that nothing had been checked. I take it back to drive for the week, attempt to call today 11/13 and spoke to a rude man that answered the phone and just told them I would find another shop to work with.No positive things to say about this place.

Excellent auto repair shop in Raleigh. Brian and Scott were very easy to talk to and kept the expense at a minimum. More than just good mechanics, they are good people. I am very pleased with their service and pricing. Up front the estimates were made without any obligations. I would definitely use them in the future for any auto repairs. My car is my life! I don’t trust just anyone touching my car, except for AutoTek. Whether it’s something as simple getting new tires, or my transmission repair, they don’t disappoint. This summer, my AC stopped working and I am not the biggest fan of the heat. Luckily, it was fixed quickly, and I was back to cruising down the road, feeling cool while my car looked hot!

I have been using AutoTek’s service for multiple years, and they are able to fix whatever problems or issues I present to them. If I need my engine checked and repairs, they get it done, with no difficulty. Even if I take my car in for a simple checkup, they treat this minor situation as something very important. I am very impressed for the years of great work they have provided to me.

The shop went above and beyond from a customer service perspective. My car had no AC after I fried the battery and several fuses, I had taken my car three times to firestone without any luck. This shop was able to find/fix this issue, even rigged my AC to work until the correct part came in. While that seems like typical customer service, I saw the techs running to the cars to bring the customer service their cars, they took me to work even though they dont offer that service, and called and kept me to date with the state of the car. Highly recommend these guys!

Where do I go to when I need an inspection done? My answer is always Autotek. I like to know that when I’m travelling that my car is working right. The guys over there always give me a great car inspection. They make sure everything is checked, and notifies me of any problem so that they can tackle it immediately. You guys rock!

Honest and straightforward

I live in East Greenwich Rhode Island and was driving home from vacation in Florida. About midway through my trip in Wilson, NC my wheel bearing went, and had some rotted brake lines burst in my 2004 Chevy Suburban. Coincidentally my best friend attends school at North Carolina State University which was only about 45 minutes from where I had broken down. To make a painful story short my friend recommended me to his mechanic (Autotek Auto Repair) in Raleigh. I had my truck towed there and left a message for Brian stating my troubles. The following morning I had gotten in contact with Brian who seemed very professional and eager to get the work done. By about 5:30 that same day Autotek had my vehicle fixed and ready to roll at a reasonable price, even knowing I was vulnerable being so far from home. I rushed to their garage and met the staff Steve, and Vince who actually came out and showed me how warped my wheel bearing really was. Oddly enough there were no signs of my wheel bearing going such as the normal hum or winding noise so I was a bit skeptical. Now, I actually happen to be in the car business back at home in Providence RI, so I know how tedious and lengthy mechanic work can be. Not to mention how many shysters and people looking to screw you there are out there. Autoteks professionalism and willingness to empathize with a customer is unfound in this business. I wish I had a service station like them back at home. I would recommend anyone with any vehicle to Autotek, without them I feel I would have been in big trouble at a gas station service center. Brian even called me today to make sure we made the rest of the trip home safe.
