AAA-Atlantic Ave has always given me excellent service and two days ago it even topped itself. Despite a very full schedule, Connie took a few minutes to check if the brake lights problem in my old Civic was merely an issue of burnt light bulbs. And it was! Connie cheerfully and calmly replaced them and we were quickly on our way instead of having to wait for an appointment the next day. And no one had to worry about getting pulled over for faulty equipment either.Thank you!People like Connie make AAA Car Service shops a great asset.

This place is AMAZING!!! My battery died and once it was jumped I knew that I needed to get the battery replaced before I turned off my car or it was not going to turn back on again. I showed up at this store 10 minutes before they closed hoping that they could do me a HUGE favor and squeeze me in before they closed. They were so nice to me and helped me immediately. The customer service was phenomenal and I will forever be thankful for their help!! Thank you Danny and Christopher, you not only saved my day but made the whole experience quite enjoyable. Hundred percent work satisfactionEven though my wife and I don’t live anymore in Raleigh we still getting our cars maintenance done there. We commute 31 from our new home to get there because of amazing job they do. Most importantly, staffs are more friendly and honest.I love this place.Even though, sometimes they might be behind the schedule I trust them and know my work will be done efficiently.

The dispatching team for AAA remind me of a malfunction at answering machine as I asked for a tow truck to be sent to my location as I ended up Fulton atleast sitting for 3 hours because the first two efforts to dispatch a truck was sent to the wrong location and every time I call back to ask where the truck was at they tried to talk to me as if I was lying about being stranded with my vehicle. The Operators had nasty attitudes honestly I have had better service at McDonalds

My wife was going on a 6-8 hour round-trip, and I needed the AAA service center at 4618 Atlantic Ave. in Raleigh, NC to check our vehicle over, so I brought it there for their pre-trip check. As it turns out, all it needed was air in the tires and windshield wiper fluid. Because they were short-handed, I was told that it would probably be a two-hour wait, but it ended up only being a one-hour wait. When I was signing the paperwork for the work completed, I asked Danny, how much, and his reply was no charge. Cant beat that. Shout out to both Ed, who had set my appointment, and Danny, whos the one I usually ask for, because they were both friendly and professional and knowledgeable, which is always important to me and much appreciated.

I have always had a great experience at AAA/Connie. I always feel like she is upfront and honest. All of the services performed has been awesome. I have never felt like she has advice me to do anything that wasnt absolutely necessary. I trust her and will continue to use this location for my car needs.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Horrible horrible place to bring your vehicles. I work for a company with many vehicles in our fleet and we will no longer be bringing them here. I dont know if it is new management or what but this place has gone downhill. You used to be able to just drop off a vehicle for an oil change or brake job and you could have it back within a couple of hours...now you will wait ALL day long to get your vehicle back even when you make the earliest appointment they offer (and even drop it off the night before). Waited over 10 hours for them to do just the rear brakes and rotors on my work van! Extremely dissatisfied and will never return! Thanks for nothing AAA!

There great work .brand new battery for my Jeep.

They go above and beyond to make sure your car needs are met and dont try to rip you off. They also partner with Lyft to get you home and back if repairs take longer than expected or you want to wait at home. Make sure the make an appointment though because they fill up fast.

These folks stand by their work. Helped me get a tire repaired incredibly fast.

They never called to update us about how much longer it was going to take. They told us it would be ready on one day and 5 days later with multiple calls to them, they said they didn’t know how to put our car back together. I guess they should have taken pictures as they went along.

I came to AAA on Atlantic Springs and they were able to take care of my alignment. They were very professional, waiting area was clean and I was able to get some work done with the free WiFi. The actual service that I received was quite good and the facility was clean.

I paid over $1700.- for engine tune up and repair. Of course, they wanted all of their money before I even got a chance to test drive it. When I got it on the highway, it was misfiring & shaking / sputtering @ 50 mph.

I got my Fuel system serviced the day after getting my oil changed, and back brakes adjusted. I just got m battery last year. My car wouldnt start before I left the facilities. The lady had to fidget with the: gear shift, lights, signals and turn it to try to get it to work. Once it did work she told me to keep an eye on the starter. Now my starter wont work which caused me to call out of work late. Once they open I know Im going to get the run around, and told that its not their fault, but it is since my car was working fine before I brought it to them the first time. I spent a little over $300 to get ripped off for a service I didnt need. Thanks for nothing.

Good service excellent value

I got a basic oil change. I got my brakes adjusted. The fuel injection they did caused oil to leak out, and short my starter. A different location wated to charge $450+... im a member and I already paid $300 for repairs. I understand whats gpin on during this pandemic, but I be damned if i have to keep paying high prices under a membership just so some crooks can get paid.

Car quit running and I had it towed to this shop because I have AAA membership. AAA left me stranded where it broke down because of Covid-19 restrictions about riding in tow truck. When I finally got home I called shop and told them the car would run, but did not respond to the accelerator, indicating a problem in the fuel delivery system. I also gave them a print-out where the folks at a drive in oil change facility that was beside where the car broke down plugged in to the on-board diagnostic system and showed exactly where the problem was. Those good folks did this at no charge and determined that they could not fix the car so I needed to have it taken elsewhere. Since I knew where the problem was, I asked for an estimated cost to fix it. AAA said they had a $99 diagnostic fee and then they would be able to see what the problem was and price the repairs. They also said they would call the next morning. I consented because what else could I do at this point? They did not call--I called them mid-afternoon and got a price of $700+ to replace the fuel body and do a fuel system service to get rid of all the dirty ethanol that caused the problem. I asked for and got a verbal breakdown of the cost for parts and labor to do the work. The fuel system service is an unnecessary service that I did not ask for and did not want. So, I talked to the technician and he finally agreed to clean a sticking butterfly valve in the fuel body, but could not guarantee that it would not fail again down the road. Im fine with that, so the cost was $50. I may replace the fuel body later to be sure that it does not fail again. I found the proper part for sale at a national chain auto parts store for less than half the cost I was quoted. Almost everything in the diagnostic service report did not and could not relate to the problem I asked them to fix, so it was unnecessary work and an unnecessary expense. Finally, they did not call when the car was ready--I had to call again to find out I could pick the car up and pay the bill.I will NOT be using AAA auto service again. Very disappointed since I have been an AAA member for almost 50 years.

Consistently receive excellent service from manager Connie, master tech David Hyde and assistant manager Danny Larkin. I purchased a set of Michelin tires and got the roadside assistance warranty for nail coverage which has been a great cost savings benefit.

I got my car towed here after the battery was dead and would not start. They changed the battery out, the terminal ends, and put a universal holder in it. As soon as I got my car back, there were lights that stayed on. I called and they told me not to worry about them and I should just ignore them. About two weeks later, my car wouldn’t start again. I had to get it towed and it’s because the new holder broke and there was still corrosion on the terminal ends. They decided to take two days to put a holder in, which left me without a car for those days. Also, I went to pick up my car, the lights were still on. They said they were going to reset it and I had to wait 40 mins. Now, my radio is not working in my vehicle.

Never in my life have I felt so taken advantage of or so cheated. From the very beginning the technician attempted to swindle me.It started with him telling me that he had run my VIN and my car was AWD and because of this it must have 4 new tires instead of the 1 I needed (I got a flat and had to be towed in) and said he even called Volvo to make sure. He also let me know that I needed my brake fluid flushed and new put in. Why he was checking my brake fluid when I was clearly there because of a flat tire, Ill never know. So in total he quoted me over $900 to which I said no way, remove the brake fluid service and find me cheaper tires. He graciously got me down to about $750...After this conversation, I told him I needed to think and call him back. Something didnt feel right about the whole AWD thing so I looked at my cars manual and sure enough it was only 2WD. Called him back to let him know this and he tells me how strange that is and that his system told him is was AWD. I again insisted it was not and thats when he looked again and discovered I was correct. He was then able to quote me for a single tire to which he kindly gave me a $10 coupon for. Best part is that they did not replace the valve stem as they should have and it was still clogged with fix-a-flat. So when I attempted to put air into that tire (they didnt fill it all the way) just an hour after leaving the shop, I couldnt get any in. Had to go to Advanced Auto and purchase a kit to do it myself just so I could get air in the tire.As a female, I try never to assume someone is blatantly taking advantage of me. I believe in the benefit of the doubt, however, this time I truly believe he thought he could pull one over on the ignorant girl. I will absolutely never return here and I will go out of my way to make sure I let everyone I know how absolutely awful this center is. And to the technician that I had the pleasure of dealing with? If you have a daughter and someday she runs into car trouble, I pray that she receives better, more trustworthy, and courteous service than I received from you.

Excessive waiting times. Although Im not very familiar with the mechanics of cars, it would seem something amiss when a customer returned one, two, three times (within one hour) due to the check engine light alert.

Brandon was extremely helpful and patient with me and went above and beyond to make sure I got the best service for my car. His wonderful attitude and demeanor were a bonus. Highly recommend!!

It was nice to be kept in the loop and also easy to use my AAA membership for a discount. Also, I received a detailed report on my car that is better than I have ever seen before, anywhere! My car was towed in the previous day. I called the next morning and they were responsive and were back in touch with me by mid-morning with an analysis of what I needed and an estimate. It was presented in a clear manner and there was no effort to have me do more than was needed. It was a good a car experience as I have ever had.

I had a flat tire that needed plugged and it literally took 6 plus hours to get my car back. I’m on the road traveling all the time and I’ve never had to wait more then a few hours for a flat. I know business are short handed bc some people don’t want to work, so that’s why I gave them a 3! Maybe that was the problem!

Ive used this branch many times, and always come out feeling satisfied that I got good service at a reasonable price. This is my go-to-place for oil changes, tires, etc.

I am fairly new to this place. Good, helpful service people with an excellent waiting area. I have been very pleased with their service. I went in because my power steering was behaving strangely. They discovered a serious problem that was missed by the dealership very recently.

Danny is very pro-active with my car care needs and works with me to pay for the services. The work is guaranteed and this location has only made one error and that was quickly rectified. I wish I lived closer to this location; the staff here is the friendliest and most helpful.

Ive been going to this place for a few years now, and every time the work has been completed on time or early at the price Ive been quoted (and occasionally at a lower than estimated price). The customer service is incredible, and they keep me updated on the status of my car throughout the repair. I know I never have to worry about my vehicle when I drop it off at the AAA Atlantic Avenue location; I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Needed a headlight, and they graciously worked me in although they had work ahead of me.

Full disclosure, Ive never gone to this place for car repairs or oil changed. I was in an accident and my car was towed here, because I have AAA ins. The day after it was towed I went here and checked on the car and let the people know the circumstances, locked the car, and gave them the key for when the adjuster came by. Yesterday I went back to clean out my car and get my license plate, because the car was considered totalled. I brought my spare key and opened the car and someone(s) had rifled through it. Pulled everything out of the glove box, the arm rest, my tampon bag had been opened and gone through then tossed in the back seat. I wouldnt trust leaving a vehicle here unattended for any reason!

I have trusted my vehicles to AAA on Atlantic Ave for years because of their friendly and reliable service.

I have been taking my 2003 Toyota Echo to AAA Car Care since November 2012 and have never been disappointed with their service or their professionalism. The folks at AAA have done everything from simple oil change service to more involved engine repair. My experience: the service has always been first rate and the prices have been fair. Its such a relief to have finally found a repair shop I can trust! And I think Click and Clack would approve.

Carried my car in for a issue with it cutting off a lights. They did $308 worth of repair that was not needed. ( they thought it was the issue and would repair the problem)One day later my check engine light came on. This time a code came up.They wanted over $500 to do repair. Never offered to take the original $308 off. A repair not needed. I then left because I did not have the money. Went to a friend who recommend someone that found the parts under $100 and did the repair for under $100 and in less then an hour. Drives great and no lights.

The AAA tow truck driver recommended I go here instead of my normal place. I agreed without looking at reviews (big mistake). They quoted me $4000 to replace my transmission. Thankfully I had it taken somewhere else for a second opinion. Turns out there was nothing wrong with my transmission, just a different problem. My total is under $1000 instead of $4000.

Very friendly people and they did what they said they were going to do. They were the second try at figuring out the issue with my vehicle after Capital Chevrolet could not be bothered to do the work and find the issue.

AVOID this place at all costs at least if you need the state emission inspection done for your vehicle. The front-desk seller threaten to fail it I did not purchase the wiper blades from them ($55 -waaaay overpriced-). The wiper blades were not new but in good working condition (I used them the day before and they were replaced less than a year ago). The seller justified the price cause he said they needed to bring them from the store cause they did not have them for European cars (a VW Jetta). I guess this is the kind of lies they think some people believe...

Id truthfully give them more stars If I could. Charles and the entire staff were extremely friendly and kept me up to speed throughout the entire process of fixing my car! I was on a time constraint for a trip and these miracle workers were able to get my car fixed quickly! I instantly noticed a difference in my car as I was driving away. It drove smoother and wasnt shaking anymore. These guys are good honest people which is difficult to find these days. I plan on returning for any future issues I incur.

Wayne in the car care center is shady. Ive been in 3 times for an estimate and he has yet to give me one on paper. He wants me to come back with one from other places and hell beat it. AND Im a AAA member. Lucky for AAA I found another location with better customer service.

Auto received repairs. Glade they check 4 wheel drive needed repairs Very pleased.Excellent Checked warning light and found and made repairs. Since it snowed and sleeted glade repairs were completed. I have a 2002 GMC Envoy so maintenance is necessary.

Car runs great

They were wonderful and understanding when I was stranded. Danny and Emily (I hope that is her name) went above and beyond in helping me.

This location recommended $900 of work on my car, I brought it to a few different oil change places after asking if I needed anything done to my car, and they all said no.My wiper blades also magically stopped working after they recommended I change them, I drove for five hours after I was here in the rain, it was very dangerous. I do not want to bring my car here again.Edit: DO NOT get anything done here, after I told them I didn’t want $900 of unnecessary work done on my car, they broke a part that lead to my car being totaled that night. (I even reported this vandalism 2 hours before the accident happened)

They do really good work here, but they are very expensive. They will drive you home or to work and pick you up if necessary. Nice clean waiting area with WiFi and coffee.
