Excellent Customer Service, I like Daves honesty. I moved away for a few years and didnt know where they had moved to. I am grateful and happy to have found them. I recently had an engine light come on and took to him, after one of my neighbors told me it was okay, I needed to hear it from my mechanic however I trust Dave. Dave could have charged me to diagnosed the car, but he took the time to explain to me what had occurred. A week later I took my car back to Dave when the light came on again, he diagnosed the problem called me to explain what needed to be repair. When I arrived there the morning of my repair I was trying to get a Uber to work, Dave asked me where I worked which wasnt in walking distance, I was so grateful he dropped me off and work.I had to make a road trip in July and asked Dave to look over my car to see if it would make the 2000 mile plus trip. He charged me a nominal fee, I am truly satisfied with my mechanic.

I called up here trying to get an idea of how much they charge for a repair and I think because he heard I was a girl he overcharged and told me it could be a couple thousand dollars for a simple OIL leak I told him I knew where the leak was and he told me just to FIND it himself it would be 45. Very unprofessional I would not recommend.

Superbly professional; honest; reliable. Ive taken four different cars to Duraleigh Auto Center and always had a first-rate experience. Dave and his colleagues do efficient, expert work -- always getting it right the first time. Prices are reasonable. Ive been going to this shop for nearly 15 years and would not think of going anywhere else.

This place is a great car repair service center. The owner, Gary always takes care of my car. The body shop does great work too. Would definitely recommend this place.

After receiving the best possible recommendations from two friends, I brought my car in this morning for an oil change and inspection. I will definitely be a return customer. I was treated with respect in a friendly and professional manner. Before any work was done, Dave McDonald informed me what needed doing, and the rates were more than fair. I was able to wait in a comfortable waiting area and was finished and on my way within the hour. While I was there, 3 other customers came in to schedule work and each time they said that they had been told of Duraleigh Auto Center by friends who would not go anywhere else. This is about the best experience I have had with an auto shop, and I will most certainly be a return customer.

Fine work for fair price. Super friendly folks. Honest to a fault. Several times they could have taken advantage of my ignorance. I asked them to check my breaks because they were squealing every time I slowed down. They could have sold me a complete brake job, but instead, they were honest. I had 50% more wear to go, so they just charged me $20 for checking my brakes. If you want a shop that still believes in honesty and great work for a fair price, this is the one to try!

I came here once before for some very simple bodywork and they treated me fine and the work was solid. My daughter came to get the same exact body work done and they tried to charge her over twice the amount for some reason. When my wife called to discuss the issue and ask about why they became quite rude and hung up on her after stating they refuse to work on the vehicle. Its obvious they were trying to take advantage of someone that is young, female, and didnt know any better which is a real shame considering they would have been my permanent place to go to had they not treated my family this way.

My family has used Duraleigh Auto for all of our cars for well over ten years. Dave, Gary and the rest of the staff are knowledgeable, courteous and honest. They patiently and clearly explain what needs to be done and their quote is almost always on the mark. I would highly recommend them for all of your car care needs!

I went in for a confirmed issue they said did not need repair and had to go elsewhere later to be fixed. Waste of time. Was told car needed oil change yet it was at 70% life remaining. Also told back brakes and rotors were bad and needed immediate repair. Second opinion said brakes still excellent with 50% life. I see this combination of errors as fraudulent.

It was an okay experience. Gary seem knowledgable and they seem to have a pretty good facility. For now the car works, but we paid way much more then what was initially quoted. Having the work done was also a hassle. It didnt seem they were interested in doing the work. Next time I will find someone who actually wants my business and keeps to their quote. They probably do a decent job with easy work, but for more difficult jobs, I suggest you find someone else.

Have been to Duraleigh twice. First time they replaced a wheel bearing which had been replaced not 3 months ago. Then worked to help me get a refund from the shop who installed it incorrectly. Second time I went to them for a trans. shift cable which had an expired recall on it. They put me in contact with a dealership who would still replace the part for free when I was fully expecting/trying to pay Duraleigh to replace it. Very honest & trusting ownership!

I was driving home from work and my alternator tensioner and belt went out. I called around places near me to find who could get me in. Not only were they able to get me in, they fixed it while I waited and were extremely friendly to me (although I did notice that the manager wasnt nearly as friendly to his staff, although we all have bad days from time to time). Also I found their rates more than reasonable. I will definitely be coming back with any of my auto repair needs.

When my alternator went out, I called around to get some quotes and was not looking forward to taking my car into any of the auto service shops in the area. I had no previous experience with Duraleigh Auto Center, although they had some good reviews, I received a reasonable quote and spoke with someone who seemed to care. I decided to give them a try and was very pleased. When picking up my car I found out they also do auto body work. My sons Honda was hit in a parking lot and needed some body work done. We took the car in on a Monday morning, it was ready for pickup on Wednesday afternoon and we couldnt have been more pleased. I recommend Duraleigh Auto Center, this is where we will be taking our cars from now on.

I have never post a review 1st time ever but I felt the need to inform others about this Business to keep it short you will most likely get over charged if you go to this place reason being I had a AC problem basically I needed a new compressor they wanted to charge me after Texas around 1600 bucks plus other parts that I did not need WOW !!! I still cant believe it that these kind of people actually exist well I got it all fix for under 600 bucks and a Oil change and a warranty not to mention a little southern hospitality that always goes along way with a job well done but you dont have to take my advice find out for yourself

I have gone here on multiple occasions for issues ive had with my car. I have also got a car inspected here before I bought it bc these are the MOST honest people you wilp find. Usually when I go to any auto center im told to fix costly things, this is the only place where they are real and honest and dont try to squeeze you for your money. I will always come here for my car!! Highly recommend

Called to have a rough estimate on getting the clutch replaced and told me it was 40 dollars to look at it. I understand that but would not give me any idea what it might cost in the long run when I asked, and hung up on me.

Didnt even get to the repair part but the management was terrible.I walked in to get my car fixed after getting side swiped by someone and told them I needed an estimate and to get my car fixed as soon as possible. The office person and 2 other guys were standing outside one of the bays just chatting like they had nothing to do. They said Ohh if you can drop it off today that would be great. After receiving the estimate and sending it off to the insurance company and not hearing back for 2 days I then called them back to let them know I got the estimate approved and needed a time to drop off my car and coordinate a rental. Then the office person said the earliest we can take your repair would be in 18 days.What?! You were practically begging me for business 2 days ago and didnt even hint that you were busy (and definitely didnt look busy) then when I said I wanted my car fixed as soon as possible, you just continued to play along. Then I went through waiting for a slow insurance company to get back to me and THEN you tell me I will have to drive around on a scrubbing damaged fender and bad alignment for the better part of 3 more weeks before you can fit me into your not so busy schedule. By that point I will need a new tire from the uneven wear and scrubbing due to damages that were not even my fault.

Rude. Dont put in no effort to help customers who need their car fixed but may not be good with cars themselves (i.e females). Directed me to 4 different other shops and wouldnt even look at my car to help me see what needed to be fixed.
