My husband and I chose Mini City Auto after someone ran into the back of me. I saw the reviews, and didnt really know what to expect; not because any were bad, but because I had never had to use a body shop before. During a stressful time, Mini City were very reassuring, and it was great to have it taken care of by someone we trsuted. Kara and the office team were fantastic; very kind and knowledgeable, and they answered all of our questions. They kept us updated regularly, and honestly made us feel like we were the most important and the only job there (when we know they are very busy). Our car came back immaculate, and we are thrilled at the skill of the job they did. I would happily recommend them to anyone.

Do not go to this place. All the bad reviews you see here are real. The good ones must be coming from friends and family. They have a lack of service, professionalism, communication. Bring your car here if you don’t care about your car and your time. If I could give it NO stars I would.

I had a scratch along the side of my car that they were able to buff out while I waited. They took my car right away and gave me a quote that was very reasonable and finished in less than an hour. The scratch was completely gone when they finished. Nice work!

I brought our 2014 Honda Odyssey to Mini-City for an estimate after the vehicle was hit with major damage across the front passenger door, side sliding door, and rear panel. Rodney Johns won my confidence with a thorough review of the insurance estimate and explanation of his shops approach to the repairs. He acknowledged the complexity of some of the work and that his team had the experience to handle the job. Unlike another shop I visited, Rodney was willing to give a conditional time estimate for the work, acknowledging that it could change based on what is found once the vehicle is taken apart. Mini-City worked directly with the insurance company during the entire process, handling supplements directly and not requiring my intervention. Communication during the process was excellent and I was always well-informed of the status of the repairs. The only hiccup in the process occurred when the automatic sliding door didnt work properly when we originally showed up for pickup. The team worked diligently to diagnose the electrical problem and correct it. The end result is a van that looks better than before the accident with no evidence whatsoever that it ever occurred. This is particularly evident on the highway where alignment and balance are very good and road noise is at a new vehicle level. In summary, this team did an excellent job and they were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Mini-City for any level of complexity of body repairs and I would not hesitate to return to them for future business.

Very poor service. Only come here if you dont care about your insurance premium going up. I came in with the intention to pay out of pocket, they quoted me a best scenario and worst scenario. When I decided to go with insurance instead it of course goes to worst scenario right away PLUS an extra $1000. I tried calling and emailing, and would occasionally get a 1 sentence response with very little detail. Whats also sketchy is they did the work without my permission, not sure if thats standard with insurance! Besides all that they were also 4 days late on finishing up my car. Save yourself a headache and your insurance premium by staying far away. The actual service was passable, not the best with a few complaints but not enough to warrant having to deal with them again.

Someone backed up into my rear side passenger door and put a huge dent in it (before and after photos attached). I filed a claim through her insurance company the same day and they provided me with a list of auto body repair locations to obtain estimates at no cost to me. I chose Mini City Auto Body because of the raving reviews and the fact that they are affiliated with insurance companies. The insurance company forwarded my claim information to Mini City Auto Body and a representative from this repair shop called me bright and early Monday morning to schedule an appointment for an estimate. I went the same day!Brett assisted me and took photos of my vehicle and provided me with a print out estimate within 15 minutes. My door needed to be replaced, painted, and scratches had to be repaired so it came to approximately $2,459. Thankfully, I wasnt at fault and the womans insurance company paid for everything (all repairs and rental car).In addition to my door and paint job looking spiffy, the customer service at this location is impeccable. They placed 1 phone call to Enterprise and I was picked up within minutes by Enterprise to go pick up my rental.Overall, following the initial estimate Brett had given me and the follow up calls I received from him to give me updates on my car, to the front desk clerks superb customer service in person and by phone, their service was absolutely amazing.

They are amazing!!! I was hit by 2 separate people, they coordinated so all my body work would be done at once. Super friendly and helpful. You get updates via text and email. They even had my car ready 2 days ahead of schedule. Most definitely recommend.

I made an appointment for an estimate on-line (very easy), which was followed up by a telephone call from Melanie at Mini-City. She explained the process, detailed what I needed to do next and what to expect. After the on-site estimate, she followed up with a phone call to schedule the work. The work was completed early and you cant tell any work was done. Very professional. While I was having the work done, Mini-City came highly recommended by a automobile professional. Kudos! I hit a deer. Mini-City did a great job on the repairs. They worked with my insurance carrier, and the adjuster, to make sure everything was well taken care of. But here is where they stood out. After I received my car I realized that the air conditioner wasnt working any longer. I returned the car to Mini-City, and they AGAIN worked with my insurance to get the appropriate repairs made. But wait, it gets better. I didnt want to have to go through the rental car process again, so they LOANED me a nice little Honda Civic, (that is good on gas) to use while they finished the work. Lets be honest, its nearly impossible to catch every little thing in todays complicated vehicles. Its easy enough to miss something, but Mini-City went above and beyond in making it right. Id take my work to Mini-City again.

They released my totaled vehicle to my insurance company without my authorization. I was in the process of disputing the estimated cash value for the claim and had not yet determined whether I wanted to retain the vehicle with a salvage title. I was not even notified the vehicle had been towed from the body shop, but instead found out over 5 days later when I called to ask about having AAA pick it up. When the vehicle was finally returned to me, there was a crack in the windshield and my insurance would not compensate for its replacement.

I took my Honda Accord to Mini City Auto Body after the rear left corner of my car was smashed in on an exit ramp. They treated me excellently. Rodney explained every detail about the repair they were about to make, including exactly what would be removed, repaired, and replaced. My job was a bit complicated since the corner impact damaged multiple parts. Rodney explained exactly how the left panel of my car would be removed, and then welded back together. He assured me there would be no hint of a weld seam, and he was right! The repair came out excellently. I did need to return because my camera was out of place, but they fixed it up immediately, and went out of their way to make some alignment changes I asked for on the bumper and the trunk lid. You can trust Rodney and crew to take good care of you and to be honest and straightforward.

They worked directly with the other persons insurance, and made the whole situation as painless as possible by giving me periodic updates as well as fully explaining everything that was to be done. Poor Craftsmanship and Customer ServiceFor years Ive been one of your most loyal customers. After picking my car up on Tuesday, and having spoken to Bret without resolve, this experience has reiterated the fact that I will not recommend or use your facility again. This last few times Ive used your shop, Ive had to return three of more times because of additional repairs that were over looked or poor craftsmanship. I tried to resolve with to no avail. Ive informed USAA and will also write a formal complaint with the BBB.

When my mini cooper was rear-ended, took it to Mini City as recommended by the dealer. Great job on the repairs, absolutely seamless. Took longer than I expected but the results were worth it! They interfaced with the responsible partys insurance company which was a huge relief, too.

Outstanding results, both in 2015 and after this years unfortunate accidents. But nothing makes you feel better than getting your car back, dare I say, looking better than before! Excellent, family-style customer service from all of the folks at Mini-City. Thank you.

Mini City did a great job fixing my car. This is my second time using them and both times resulted in excellent work and customer experience. Especially helpfully was the fact that they dealt directly with the insurance company as well as the car rental company to resolve hidden damage issues and to extend the car rental.

I am employed with a Collision Repair Shop supply center in the Raleigh, NC area and I deal with most of the Auto Collision Shops in the immediate Raleigh area. When my vehicle was rear ended by another vehicle, one of the many calls that I made was to the Auto Dealer where I purchased my vehicle. I asked them where they take all of their repairs. The service manager told me that all repairs are made at Mini City Auto Body.When I called Mini City Auto Body to inquire about having my vehicle repaired in their shop they took all of the information and handled everything from that day on.Because of the extent of the damage my vehicle was in the repair shop for a while, however I received a call from them about every 4-5 days. I was given clear and concise information as to what process my vehicle was undergoing and an estimated time as to when my vehicle would be completed.When all repairs were complete I was called and when I arrived to pick up the vehicle, all work was reviewed in my presence. Everything was perfect.If I ever require auto body repair for my vehicle again, I would use Mini City Auto Body without a doubt.Way to go Mini City Auto Body.sm

A major hail storm cause major damage to my Tahoe a few weeks ago. I immediately knew that Mini City Auto Body was a trustworthy business who would repair my vehicle with the quality workmanship and excellent customer service that I expected. This is a family owned and operated business by people who have put their heart and soul into the business. Kathy and team took care of everything, even having my Tahoe towed in to the shop without me having to pay out of pocket for it. Alan Garner was quick with my estimate, and responded very quickly to my emails. Kara communicated with me almost daily to provide updates to let me know what was going on. I picked up my car last week and was beyond pleased. Their customer service was top notch!! I was in and out very quickly with Alan even coming out to help me get my childs carseat back in the Tahoe. Tracy did an amazing job with the body work. He came out when I arrived and walked around the Tahoe with me to ensure my satisfaction. I feel like I am driving a brand new car! Dont and i repeat dont take your car here for an estimate if they wont be repairing it. The guy asked who was gonna fix the car before he wrote the estimate and i told him i was. He finished the estimate and it was way too low,i cant even pay for my parts.He didnt know i have my own shop and had already done my own estimate plus gotten 2 more. U have been warned. My car has been hit three times now and I have always taken it to Mini-City Auto Body for repair. They always do a great job and the final cost of repairs is always below the estimated cost. I teasingly tell them I am unhappy because they have failed to remove the bulls eye from my bumper, which has been repeatedly hit by other cars as if there were a bulls eye there just asking to be hit. They tell me they really tried to remove it this last time! They are a great group of folks to work with and I highly recommend them!

My Hyundai was hit in the parking lot at Triangle Town Center and whoever hit it took off without even leaving a note. To aggravate my situation even more the car was less then 2 weeks old and I had not even made my first car payment yet. Nationwide recommended Mini City Auto repair and I would also highly recommend them as well. The staff was exceptional! Kathy and Alan made sure that they kept me updated on the progress of the repair and even set up the rental for me. The did an amazing job restoring it back to looking brand new again. I hope that I will not ever have to return, but if I find myself in a similar unfortunate situation I definitely will.

If I would’ve know that MCAB doesn’t repair suspensions, I would’ve taken it somewhere else. My car had quarter panel, side skirt and suspension damage. My car was fully repaired (with the exception of a small gap between the panels that can vary) but the entire process was stressful.I was in a wreck June 1st and dropped my car off June 3rd. I was told my car wouldn’t be worked on until the 6th and estimated completion date would be the 17th. MCAB did a great job of notifying via email of their progress until the 17th. That’s where the funk hit the fan. I called on the 17th to get a status update seeing that I haven’t received one all day. They were still waiting on the arrival of the quarter panel and informed me they would paint the quarter panel Wednesday and the car would be ready Thursday. I mentioned the damage to wheel/rear axle and it seems that haven’t assessed the severity.Thursday I called and was told the car would be ready Friday. They were conducting a suspension inspection. Friday I called and the same excuse was used and the car was said to be ready Monday. Long story short, I’ve called multiple times on the DAYS they told me the car would be ready. I was given over 5 completion dates. I didn’t receive my car until this past Friday (July 12th).I’m no expert on suspensions. I was told by one of the mechanics that assessing suspension damage is like pulling back layers on an onion. In other words, you’ll keep finding more issues the deeper you dig. I guess that’s fair, until I was informed that they sent the car to NTB for the suspension repairs. I was ignorant that the vehicle would be outsourced. Again, if I would have known MCAB was going to do this, I never would have used them.About 4 weeks into the “repairs” and after multiple calls, I was told more parts were being ordered. Mind you, I have USAA paying $30/day up to $900 max for a rental vehicle. The good thing was MCAB provided a loaner so I wouldn’t have to pay anything. The bad news is, the car still wasn’t ready despite them providing dates when it would only to be disappointed. Eventually, MCAB transfer my car to another suspension specialist (wish I knew the name of the company) who fixed the suspension within a week.The cosmetic work MCAB did with my vehicle was pretty good. The communication and deliverables were the factors that made this experience a nightmare. I was frustrated and I’m sure they were too. If I had to do it over again, I’d choose a KIA shop to do the repairs. They’re familiar with my vehicle and I wouldn’t have to worry about anything being outsourced.

The only reason I’m giving this 1 star is because my car looks great! But POOR customer service, probably the worst I’ve ever experienced. My car was given on June 6 for repair from an accident and was not finished until August 1st!! First off if you get Bret as a representative to take your case change it ASAP. Bad communication and horrible attitude. My husband and I had to do all follow ups because he wouldn’t. Also mini city auto never takes fault in their delay they will blame the dealership and manufacture. The ONLY reason my car was finished on August 1st was because I stated I was going to pick it up as is and they finished it that day. All in all I would never recommend this place and they should hire people with more professionalism or reconsider some people they already have working there presently. Do not choose this place for your car repair.

I had the worse experience at this place. The small job that was needed on my car was supposed to be a 2 day timeline ended up being almost 2 weeks. The guy that took my car was so rude all the time with a bad attitude.After they claimed the job was done the car has a loud noise coming from the side the repair was done and they are not taking responsibility for it. I had to take the car to the dealer to see if they can figure out where the noise is coming from . No luck yet so I have no idea what they did to my car. The nightmare is not over...

They lack communication skills, you call they never return your calls. Would not recommended.

I really cannot say anything positive about my experience with mini city auto body. From poor customer service from Dennis to extremely poor quality management the problems seemed to stack up. I made repeat trips to this business only because it is where the insurance company sent me and I couldnt live with the poor repairs. The GM was very disrespectful and hard to reach. Mini City doesnt even give you the courtesy of a car wash after you get your newly repaired car back from them. I will not be going back anytime soon.

Tracey and Melanie were very courteous.They performed a great job on my 2011 BMW 328i front bumper, and I was very pleased with the final work.They even went further by installing free of charge a front licence plate bracket on my other car.

I went to Mini City because my insurance company suggested I go there. The office manager met with me upon arrival and promised to keep me in the loop with updates regarding the repair of my car. He failed to contact me one single time. So, after two weeks I called to inquire about the status of my vehicle repairs. After I called them daily for the next four days to check on the status of my vehicle I received a call at 4 pm letting me know my car was ready for pick up. When I arrived none of the paper work was ready causing me a huge rush to get the rented vehicle returned. Office staff seemed to be doing double the work as office manager sat back and said/did nothing while I am assuming they were his children running around the office. I do not recommend them and will never use them again.

The bumper of my VW Passat was loose and slightly scratched in a small accident. The estimate I received at this shop was significantly lower than estimates I received elsewhere. They did a fantastic job on my front bumper, repainted, and looks brand new. I will highly recommend this body shop to anyone. Thanks again!

Called and asked about an appointment for an estimate, after telling them what happened and explained I replaced 2 of the doors my self even though Im certified and just wanted the doors painted I was told that they could not help me because I worked on my own vehicle. Absolutely ridiculous.
