Initially quoted for a week and a half, repair took an extra week. When called for vehicle pickup, i noticed the alignment of the fender, hood, and front end was never fixed. Kept the vehicle another 4 days. Picked up the car and noticed a ton of chips in the paint, most likely from rushing or forcing it back together. Communication is lacking professionalism. Will be contacting geico to see if another shop can fix their shortcomings.

I keep hoping for better results and improvement in their performance and customer service. Not the Easter egg hunt I wanted. I have to check for what they damaged each time they repaired something. I roll the dice and lose every time I use this auto body repair mechanic. Not encouraging when I try to fuel car and discover fuel cap door has been disconnected. I thought the changed GPS settings, missing gallons of gas, changed radio configuration, additional rust and reversed door handle were the worst of the last repair. Appears they took my car for a road trip. Last time, I found hidden razor blades and broken glass in car after rear window replaced. They are friendly enough when I am there in person but never call, SMS, or email updates. Need to schedule repairs weeks in advance then takes weeks before the vehicle is ready. Get your MBTA pass and Lyft or Uber smartphone app ready as you will need it for a month while you wait to hear about your repair status. I use them because of the walking distance from home or MBTA station and endorsed by my auto insurance.

The other night the guy named gregory was so nice funny and was very helpful and professional his personality was awsome he saved me that night thank you greg

So far so good Im just waiting on how long itll be before its finished but Ive heard good things and my insurance company loves them so looks like I got to love them too to be continued

The staff was exceptionally friendly, whenever I had a question Danielle was always there to help. The work done to fix my car was executed wonderfully. I would highly recommend this place for any body work.

Overall good experience with my car being fixed but I had left some assorted stretch cords to keep my trunk closed after an accident which were missing when I picked up the car. Also the trunk still did not close. With a “minor adjustment” they fixed it. I was told some tape marks would be removed from passenger door, instead they left universal removal wipes in cup holder. They still did a great job fixing the car but I did not appreciate these inconveniences.

I got in an accident (not my fault) had to go through them with geigo and when I got it back, the low tire pressure light was still on after I told them the front right tire got hit as well. They did nothing to change or fix that tire. Even with a gouge in the rim clearly showing it got hit. They did not do their do diligence even after pointing it out. Now I have to get 2 new front tires. Costing me much more money when it should have been covered. The appraiser sucks.

I got back my car dirty not wash not detailed and body work poor. I have off white leather interior black spots from paint all over seats. No eye for detail and no care Auto Body guys throw your parts in the back seats. Also juice or coffee stains on speakers, shouldnt have to clean up behind your employees. Schlager did their best to correct problem still not Happy.

I was tailgated by one of their trucks who then proceeded to cut into my lane and attempted to force me in to the guardrail while I was merging onto the highway. I sped up to get his plate and he slammed his brakes on. Thankfully I was not close to him. Did nothing other than slow down when he tailgated me. Complained to owner who was going to review his on board cameras. Not a peep back. Nice company to have drivers like this on the road. Big man with his semi and no trailer. Next time Ill let him hit me. This is why I always have a camera in my vehicles.

From the day I took my car in for repair after an accident until today I could not believe the friendliness and professionalism organization all of the crew at schlager Auto Body. When I picked my car up today I could not believe how great it looked. They not only took care of the repairs but they completely detailed it cleaned it out and made it look as new as it was when I drove off the showroom floor a year-and-a-half ago.

Very friendly. Car was ready early. They even cleaned my car and I was so shocked that they did that because I had spilled dirt all in the back around the time of the accident and I hadn’t vacuumed the car in a while! They literally took some stress off of my back!

Ripoff asked the woman to check the check engine light she said I would have to leave it for a couple of days. Really ??.

They are the worst Auto body shop on the planet. Keven Obrien is an idiot, the worst service ever. He does not know how to appraise a car. I had to take it to a different shop to fix what was wrong. I took my car in to get it fix because it kept stopping with me in the middle of the road (which is unsafe). He gave the car back to me the same way I had it. He told there was nothing wrong with the car. When I took it to the other shop they saw that the transmission was bad and unsafe to drive. They fixed my car the same day and when I got my car back there was no problem at all. I paid Schlager Auto Body for no reason they did absolutely nothing. This business needs to be shut down because they are a big scam. I hate they way they operate. What they are doing to people is not right AT ALL!!!!!

I would give zero stars but that was not an option. Danielle is rude and she will lie to both you and the insurance company. I had 18.5 hours of work to be done on my truck and it took the insurance company to call to have it ready after 2 weeks. Do not go here if you want honesty.

Overall excellent experience. Told less time (10days) than it took, but that is life. I didn’t rush the work or call to often; because I wanted my car done right and rushing often means less than thorough. But boy after 17 days on limited bus line I was so ready to have my car back.Schlagers is a Geico operation so their work is guaranteed at Schlagers for Geico repair. Never had a collision all the years on GEICO Insurance.Side note-Subrogation means you have to pay the deductible as hope Geico legal team gets it back. Because Schlager charged less than my total deductible I can gather I won’t get it back. Not sure I am pleased with GEICO now... But Schlagers is ok in my book.I will update this if there are any changes with the time and wear on the repair. 17 day from drop off to pick up and my car was spotless as part of their service. Very happy!

Consumer beware! I had a repair job done by Schlegar in 2013. A few years after the repairs, the vehicle started to rust on the rear quarter panels at the seams where the rear bumper meets the panels. I waited to get the rust fixed at a point when I had to have additional work done on the vehicle that was the result of being rear ended. After having the repair appraised by my insurance, I brought the car to Schlager to have the new job and old job repaired. The Schlager representative that reviewed the rust on the car immediately said “this isn’t normal” and that they would fix the rusting repair. After dropping my vehicle off to have the repairs done, I received a call from another Schlager representative stating that they would only be repairing one quarter panel because they had no documentation of working on the other side. After arguing that no other shop had worked on the areas of the car with rusting, the schlegar representative proceeded to place blame on another repair shop that replace my bumper after their repair job(unbeknownst to them I did bring the rust to the other shop’s attention at the time of that shops repair drop off and they stated that I should bring the car back to Schlegar), me for being ignorant for seeing the paint discrepancy at the conclusion of Schlegar’s first repair on my vehicle, not bringing it to their attention at that time and not understanding that rusting might be an issue in the future, and lastly blamed the age of the vehicle (11 years old) and the fact the Massachusetts uses salt on the roads and car washes don’t remove salt from the undercarriage of a car. Note, the the rust occurred at the rear quarter panel seam and not the undercarriage. No other shop had reason to or has worked on the quarter panels of my vehicle. Schlegar did not acknowledge that their technician(s) in fact made errors in repairing my vehicle and only fixed the rust on one side of my vehicle. I am now left with one side of my vehicle rusting away. I will never recommend Schlager’s services to anyone.

My fiancés car got broken into and we dropped it off on Monday to get the glass replaced. They told him it would be ready yesterday (Tuesday) at 5pm. He went to pick up his car this morning (Wednesday) and they said it wasnt ready. Theyre not communicating clearly and taking a very long time for a job that should not take more than a couple of hours. Very frustrating.

I ended up at Schlagers after getting into an accident, as they were the closest in-network shop for Progressive. Since then, I havent gone anywhere else.Schlagers has been wonderful for routine maintenance and the standard old-car woes Ive experienced with my ten year old civic coupe. Nick, my go-to guy for their repair department, has been a godsend; explaining everything to me, giving me very accurate ballparks on repair costs, and keeping me well informed about my cars progress. Their repair work after my accident was top notch - my replaced front-end made the car look better than it did when I bought it.A few days ago, my alternator died after being replaced 5 months earlier by Schlagers. They replaced the defective alternator free of charge, and squeezed me in as soon as the mechanics were in, so I could get back on the road.I cant say enough good things about my experience with Schlagers. While I havent had the pleasure of having them tow my car, I have met a bunch of the towing guys while Ive been in for repairs, and they all seem to be genuinely good and down-to-earth people. I would trust my towing needs to them in a heartbeat.If youre looking for towing or repairs in Quincy, dont bother with anyone else. Id wager that you wont find the same level of customer service, quality of work, or attention to detail anywhere else.
