Technician or potentially the owner was Rude, made just simply trying to schedule a chore to do and an uncomfortable experience. Ive had much better experiences at other companies.EDIT: Honestly after I left my review, I also looked at alot of other reviews and find the responses from whoever deals with their reviews to be extremely Passive Aggressive/Deflective. The issue I immediately noticed was the attitude of the owner, and their naturally condescending demeanor. I wish them luck and nothing personal, just my opinion of my experience hence the point of the reviews.

I want to say I had a wonderful experience here the staff are friendly and very professional.Craig my installer was very polite and curtious he was patient in explaining the details of my interlock device and was very patient with me..i would recommend this place to everyone. It makes your day alot better when you have good customer service at any business. Thank you to all the staff for your great service and customer service
One of the worst customer service experiences ever The sole employee was fine it was the suspected owner who is a complete joke. How this place has made it this far is absolutely puzzling. Retired professional and safe your time and headache when I mention this. Stay away!

Drove two hours to get there and had two vehicles to have done, had our two kids and our dog with us. They were great got both cars done in a fair amount of time. Very pleased with how they sound and enjoyed our ride home the whole 2hours.

Couldnt get Scott off a personal phone call long enough to even acknowledge he had a customer. After waiting 15 minutes, Im not coming back.
Every visit Ive had with Scott or Craig has been pleasant and very informative. They are very willing to help you meet your needs and can even offer better options. They can do everything from simple to extravagant. All their work I have seen has been top notch! I will definitely shop here again

If you use smart start dont come to this place they dont accept cash one and they dont go based on their hours posted. Went there yesterday to do a calibration and according to them they would be open till 6pm got there at 5:30 they were already closed and gone. Nice way to run a business. Now I have to pay to tow my car because you didnt get your hours right because youre not open Sundays and neither is any other smart start.

Scott at Platinum pulled me away from a stereo shop that I have entrusted my cars to for the last few years. His work, knowledge and customer service is by far above and beyond any shop I have worked with since about 2012. I will be a repeat customer for a very long time.
After waiting a few months from having a few bad experiences my review has changed. They got some new employees and the service was great, fast friendly and efficient! Thanks guys, no more dead batteries when I come see you.

I am not one to say anything thing but after the events that happened and after reading there reviews I felt this time I had to. As I was waiting to get my car fixed I observed a couple come in asking to have his speaker tested,. The gentleman at the shop told them sure we can do that but we will have to charge you a small fee, witch at this point made the coupe very upset for some reason. They proceeded to get angry loud using foul language making threats that they were goin to make bad reviews on the shop, at one point said wait until you see what we do next! So that made me curious as to what they would say on the review, The employees at platinum were very calm and kindly said I’m sorry if you don’t except but we are going to have to ask you to leave if you keep acting this way. The couple left still upset but I give my highest regards to the fellows at platinum for the way the handled themselves I’ve been going there for a while and the have always been respectful and kind. Thank you platinum crew!!!

Poor customer service, waited for 30min, then was told they cant work on my truck because it was to big, even though they were told days ahead of time of the make and model. This guy is very unorganized, I suggest going to someone else

I recently got a ignition interlock installed through smartstart at the Tacoma location and they installed a faulty curly cord for it. So I called smart start back and they said take it to ANY smartstart location. Well platinum mobile electronics happens to be open on saturdays so I figured I would take it there beings its the closest one. They lied straight to my face and told me they didnt have any curly cords for it because smart start isnt sending any out. its because they dont get paid to install those, they get paid on just on the initial installation. Will never go there again, and Ill also tell everyone I come in contact with looking for any kind of mobile electronics the experience I had.

Very rude! We had an appointment but the tech ignored us for a half hour while talking on the phone. Then he finally told us that he couldnt do the job because our cargo truck wouldnt fit in the bay door. Trust me, he wasnt nice about it.
