Always seem to have what the BIG store are out of.

Owner asks what would make it a 5 star store well for 1. more adequate parking it was hard to park. I had to circle the block. 2. it seemed prices at this particular store was a but higher then most. I mean i was looking for a simple whisk and it cost almost 7 bucks for one. On a good note though very friendly staff.

Great looking store with friendly staff in a convenient location with just about everything you could ask for...steve, i specifically came to your store to support your local business- i dont even live here yet.i asked for a specific product with a specific feature for a specific purpose- three times you assured me i had the correct product in my hand.fifty dollars and fifteen minutes later i was on the phone with you asking why the product didnt do what we had discussed fifteen minutes earlier.while i appreciate the prompt refund and courteous and friendly staff- i would have really appreciated you have taking the time up front to read the package before sending me on my way....because i didnt appreciate the unnecessary trip back your store for the refund.overall, a terrible first experience....but i do support the locals as much as possible. and i do intend on moving in soon, thus ill be back. hopefully we can improve from here

Very friendly and helpful staff that walk around to the customers, so we didnt have to hunt someone down for every question. Staff was wearing masks (like we were) but other customers were not. Probably the same kind of people who feel they dont have to stop at stop signs either, because hey, why not be part of the problem instead of the solution?

Great customer service and a very wide variety of hardware items you need and the rest you just want. You will invent projects right there in the store because this is the toy for adults with too much time on their hands. I bought a padlock and chain. It made me almost giddy because I was first...and last in line.

I will support these guys because Im tired of endlessly searching the big box stores with little or no help from sales associates. Prices maybe a little higher but much less time and frustration in finding what I need.

I love Ace Hardware. For many years, I have been going there instead of Home Depot or Lowes whenever I can. I recently had an experience that leaves me feeling betrayed. I visited the Punta Gorda store on Feb. 27th and bought $20 worth of hardware, screws and epoxy and give the clerk, Lindsay, my $5 discount card that I had recd in the mail. She failed to apply the $5 discount, but I didnt notice until I got home. I called and she said that she would mail the card back to me. Today, I called and talked to an extremely rude person named Steve, who may be the owner. He told me they wont be mailing that card back to me, but I could get the discount when I next went in. That was fine, but his demeanor and attitude was so unfriendly and rude, that I told him I didnt appreciate his attitude and he told me to stop coming in and hung up on me. Way to go, Steve. Now is need to find a new Ace Hardware.

I bought 2 tires for my orange wagon. They took my old tires off and put the new ones on for free. Then they pumped up all my tires for free. INCREDIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!
