My over all experience with the service manager was not good. I brought my truck in for a leak in the sunroof and the manager was adamant that there was no leak. As soon as I picked the truck up I noticed water pooling at the corner of the sunroof and brought it back right away. He told me he didnt see any water and acted as if I was making something up. The assistant manager came to have a look and saw it right away. I received a call later in the day to inform me that the leak that did not exist was going to cost me $1,300 to fix. I asked if this repair was covered under the certified bumper to bumper warranty I received when purchasing the vehicle from Gettel less than a year ago. I was informed that it was not. I went ahead and paid to have the leak fixed as I cannot have water coming into the vehicle. So my experience with Gettel over the past year has not been a good one. I purchased what I thought was a good vehicle from a reputable dealer with a Bumper to bumper Chevy certified warranty and brought it to the dealer I purchased it from when having an issue and was treated as a liar and still paid full price out of pocket to have my vehicle repaired by them. I have learned first hand that at Gettel it is all about the sale and that quality and service are of no concern.

It all started when I brought my 2016 Camaro into what was then Palm Chevrolet for problems with my transmission. I told the service rep Jordan Klein, that the transmission was making clunking noises when shifting through different gears, it was also very hard when shifting and there were audible noises every time you drive it. Jordan drove with me and instantly noticed the issues and stated “that is definitely not normal” Jordan ran the computer on the car and the system came up with a transmission update that was needed, this sounded just like the fix for the transmission problems I was having. I sat in their waiting room for a good 4-5 hours while they were performing the service. When I got my car back, the hood was misaligned with the front bumper and there was a dent near the front of the car, I stated these problems to Jordan and he said there is no way that hood was off alignment, however I had taken many pictures of the car before going in for service (the hood was not misaligned, and there was no dent) so I had them fix the hood, as for the dent, they would not fix that, I was very upset with them because of this (and this is before I even sat in the car!) After starting to drive the car IT DROVE TERRIBLY! The worse it has ever been! Flash forward a few weeks and the car is driving comparable to what it was in the beginning. I noticed my daytime running lights were not turned on when they should be, so I took it back to Palm. THEY FORGOT TO PLUG THEM BACK IN! Absolutely Unbelievable! I then requested to talk with the service manager Bob Pilgrim, that was a mistake. I asked if Bob would come with me for a ride to check out the transmission, he said yes, so he actually drove the car as I sat in the passenger seat. I was telling Bob of all the issues and yes, they were happening as we drove it. Bob said they were completely normal and kept making excuses for every single thing that would happen. Bob said more than once that I was “fabricating problems from what I was reading” when I was just researching ideas of what the problems could be from what other Camaro owners are saying. I went around to the new car side and asked a salesman to get keys to a similar Camaro (V6 A8 Transmission) and guess what? No clunking, noises, etc. At this point I was done with Bob. I found a TECHNICIAN inside the service area and told him everything, he insisted that they order a torque converter, Jordan was reluctant but he finally did order it, it was on backorder to I was to wait about 2 weeks. A month and a half later, still nothing, so I call Jordan and he said “Since we switched over to Gettle, all orders got cancelled, I tried to find your number but couldn’t” REALLY? And after all this they would not order another torque converter because they said the problems were not bad enough. I was done with them and was really done with Chevy in general and was about to get rid of the car, when I called a different dealership, Roger Dean Chevrolet. Roger Dean was totally awesome and gave me a loaner car while they diagnosed the problem (remember Palm would not even look at the car) So they call me up about a day later saying they reprogrammed the ECM and TCM AND did the 20 or so mile setup for the transmission so it could learn to shift right. Palm never did this (that is why the car drove so poorly when I got it back) I have all conversations and drives with Palm recorded and it is being sent to corporate. The way they treated me was honestly demeaning and rude. Never will I be going here again, and I will be telling other Chevy owners!

This gettel location is reviewed much closer to where they all should be than the rest. Still 2.9 is too high for any of them

I will not be doing business with Gettel I asked them to sell me a car that tows no less than 3500 lb they sold me a car that only tows 2500 lb after telling me that it would tow 4000 lb the owners manual and Dodge say that it can only tow 2500 lb they will not take the car back

Service down hill since palm sold. Stay away except 4 warranty work. And even then they laugh when U tell them the issue.
