Money > Customers for these guys. Sad to say they are losing us for something they agreed to pay. My wife and I had them fix our brakes last year. Their part not only was a defect, it destroyed our rotors. We called them because the parts were under warranty and their part damaged other parts. The warranty states they’ll cover parts and labor. Here’s the disclaimer they never told us. You have to be in UT to get it. My wife and I are in California for work and the two shops we went to said it’s unsafe to drive over 75mph because we might not be able to stop. Translation. We can’t drive back to UT safely with the current status of the car.We asked Brandon to help us replace it here since it’s too dangerous to drive back to his shop to get it replaced. Nope. Not only will he not go the extra mile, he refused to pay for labor, and he’s making us buy the parts from AutoZone to get reimbursed for the warranty. Did I mention he’s great at avoiding emails and direct questions?So much for his comment from our first phone call “Let’s get this straight. No matter what happens safety is priority. If it’s not safe don’t drive up here.” He’s right it’s not safe, so I’m going to have it be replaced at an additional cost to me when Brandon is hiding behind the lines of the warranty since I’m hundreds of miles away and unable to even make it there safely. STAY AWAY FROM HERE! The guys at Car Care Central are awesome! Another auto shop gave me an estimate of $900 to fix my clutch And I had to pay $75 to get the estimate, and car care central fixed it for $100 because it only needed to be adjusted. That was right around Christmas time so you can imagine how great that was for me! I will always trust Car Care Central with my car! They have always treated me fairly.

Just bought a used car and had some immediate vibration issues the same day. Went to Car Care (Brandon)and rather than take the opportunity to make $ off the service, they recommended I go back to the dealership. The dealership took care of me which they werent obligated to do because it was as is (Cougar Motor Orem). All around I had a great, non traditional experience with used car dealers and mechanics. If thats happening, dont lose hope in society folks.

The advertised $14.99 oil change quickly jumps to nearly $40 once you walk in the door. No valid explanation except, we charge a little more for your vehicle...its a jeep.really rude customer service, and the wait time is pretty ridiculous for what little work they do.this is one of those places that thrives on up-selling on other repairs, and taking advantage of sweet old ladies and people who dont really know anything about cars.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES HERE. This place is a joke. They said they could replace a diesel engine in a 2010 Ford Truck owned by a friend of mine. Turns out they could not.After paying for parts upfront and after several MONTHS of this place avoiding contact with the truck’s owner when he was trying to find out the status of the repair, they finally admitted they were in over their heads and couldn’t get the new engine to start. It was then taken to a Ford Dealership where a diagnosis was made that the engine was not installed correctly, and certain parts were not installed at all, causing major damage to several expensive powertrain components when they attempted to start the incorrectly installed engine.The cost to repair the damage that this shop had done, due to their lack of automotive knowledge and skill, was over $20,000. A bill which the owner of the truck is now stuck with. Brandon gave my friend an older SUV to try and make up for the cost of the parts that were paid in advance, but then left him high and dry when it came to the rest of $20,000 repair bill that he had to pay at Ford.They need to step up and do the right thing by paying for the signature loan he was forced to take out, because that’s what you do when you own a business and make a huge mistake like this. Anything less is unprofessional. Isn’t that why companies carry insurance? DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES HERE!

Theyve always taken great care of my husband and I. They are friendly and give us fair prices. They even took me into the garage and showed me on my car what was wrong instead of just telling me. Very genuine people. I highly recommend them.

Ive been coming here for about a year and a half and have only positive things to say about the service I have received. All of the employees that I have worked with have been very patient with me and explain it all in a way that a non car enthusiast like my self can understand. Good people good service.

Im not quite sure about other people, but in my experience I actually had very good service. My car needed a new head gasket and they drove to my house and gave me a jump start (for free). My car needed a new fuel filter cause I messed up my own repairs (which they encouraged because its a good skill to learn) and they drove back and towed it (for free). Depending on the work needed it can be a little more expensive, but thats business. They recognize me by face and name when I call in, they find me ways to save a little bit of money when possible, and their fixes held. Im sure not everyone has great experiences - the auto mechanic business is frustrating - but these guys will always be one of the numbers I call when Im looking to get a car fixed.

Incredibly rude staff. Its shocking to me that theyre still in business. The way they treat their customers on the phone and at the front desk is a good representation of the character of the employees and management and most likely an indication of the level of work they do on cars. Steer clear despite the cheap prices (Groupon oil change).. not worth it.

First time here I got very an uncomfortable vibe from this place. Something about the guy at the desk just felt off, and later I felt extremely uncomfortable listening to him argue with an employee about his paycheck. Very unprofessional. By the time they finally finished with my car I was ready to sprint out of there, the atmosphere of the business just made my skin crawl.Jiffy Lube had sent me over with the code for my check engine light being on. They charged me to run diagnostics, which took over an hour, half the time I didnt even see anyone with my car. Guess what? The problem was exactly what the code Jiffy Lube gave me said it was! So glad I wasted $80 bucks.Said it would cost over $1000 to fix. Also told me about several other things wrong with my car, half of which were minor things that anyone could easily fix themselves, but of course hed want to do for me and charge a ridiculously expensive price for it.They seem very desperate for business and promised to extend the amount of time in which I could come back, over a month, because he guaranteed that he could give me the lowest price. Instead, I found someone to do it for around $400.Not saying this place inst for you, but after that first and only visit, I will never be back. These guys just dont feel trustworthy to me.

The staff is super friendly, and Ive loved coming here for oil changes. They are willing to work with me and get me the best deals. I would totally recommend Car Care Central!

I come all the way here from Sandy when I need my car worked on! They give me a great deal, especially when I pay cash they do a discount. I also love that they show me on my car exactly what is wrong and why its bad, they dont just tell me what I need and expect me to believe them. Awesome guys, definitely recommend!

One star for the constant spam of leaving ads under my windshield wiper at my house. The last one they left was during a rainy night and the next morning it was sunny. Because of this the ad was PAINTED onto my window. I spent a good 10 minutes trying to get it off. I can tell by their responses to ratings on here that they cannot take any criticism. Despicable. Avoid them at all costs.

These guys fixed my wheel bearings no problem but as soon as the work was done and they got paid they stopped taking responsibility. They opened up the front dash to secondarily work up a foul smell coming out of the vents but found nothing. I noticed after picking it up that the dash was not put back together correctly. I called to set up a time when they would take a look at it since I was driving 30 minutes away to them and when I got there the guy had no idea I was coming. He said there were several cars ahead of me and told me I could leave the vehicle there. When I explained that I couldnt and that I was moving out of state and needed to get it done then he just spouted off the same thing that we could leave it there. Poor office communication and apathetic customer service representatives really ruined the experience for me.

Ive been very happy with the service Ive received here, they have a comfortable lobby for you to wait in while they work on the vehicle and theyre very nice and professional. I dont know cars too well but it doesnt feel like theyre trying to get me to spend money where I dont need to and theyve got prices that are hard to beat, as well as multiple groupon deals at any given time!

Purchased an oil change on KSL for these guys, thought Id try them out. They were nice to talk to but failed in service. Changed my oil but NOT my OIL FILTER! Even though the coupon specifically said they included it. Told me I needed new brake pads even though I had just replaced them. They were nice enough to talk to but not changing the filter when changing oil is a pretty bad idea. Took my car to Firestone and had them redo the whole thing just to be safe. Thanks for the try but I will never be back.

- didnt call me when my car was ready to be picked up- told me one price on the phone but charged me another price ($100 more) when I went in- wouldnt print a receipt for meYoure better off going somewhere else. I knew that my car had problems that needed to be fixed and I was prepared to pay for them but when they charged me more than anticipated I ended up having to put it all on a credit card. I wont be going back.

I wish there was an option for 0 stars. Or even negative stars. HORRIBLE customer service, especially from the owner. He was very rude and disrespectful to both me and my wife and all he wanted to do was argue when we were respectfully expressing our concern. He told us the wrong time to arrive at the shop and instead of saying sorry for the miscommunication like any good business owner would do, he constantly argued saying he never told us that incorrect time. We took our cars from his shop and took our business elsewhere. I recommend you do the same for a more friendly environment. This IS NOT SPAM.

This review is more a critique of how I was handled as a customer more than of the quality of car repair. I called around 9:30am and was told that I had an appointment to change my breaks at 2pm. So I went at 2, and was told it would be no more than a 45 minute wait. I waited for over an hour to be told that I would have to come back the next day, (which wasnt nearly as flexible as today for me). The serviceman told me that he could give me $10 off per axel for my troubles and possibly a ride to my home. But then his boss said that I would get no such benefits and would just have to come in tomorrow. I was frustrated with their inability to give me realistic times, and also with them giving me something and taking it away. I wasted the only good day I had to do this, and wasted a lot of time in their shop. So I took my business elsewhere. My one star review is for their over-promising and under-delivering.

I used to take my car in for simple oil changes. I kept coming back because I always got in and out fast. Unfortunately though, I wont be going back.Last oil change I was told by the mechanic that I had an oil leak. I thought this was weird because I had never had one before. I mean after the oil change my car was leaking ALOT. I investigated further to find out that there was the wrong sized o-ring on the oil filter. We replaced the o-ring ourselves to the right size and like magic no more leak.Considering we usually do our own oil changes and know the car, I consider one of two things happened. Either they have a bad mechanic on staff or they didnt have the right size o-ring on hand so they just decided to put the wrong size in and tell me I had a leak. Which, if true, is pretty slimey.

If only zero stars were an option. I cant imagine a positive review on this business, unless it is fake. I would like to do you all the favor of warning you against this incredibly dishonest business, Car Care Central in Provo on State St. To give context, I have never left a negative review for a business, EVER, but the extremity of this situation puts me in a position of not being able to stay silent. First, they tried to recommend several unnecessary services. Luckily, I was by my husband when he received the call, and I knew all of the things described had been recently checked and maintained. Just to confirm it, we took our car elsewhere, and they checked it and said we werent even close to needing those services. When my husband picked up the car from the original repair, the man told him he didnt have a printed receipt and he would just email him. My husband unfortunately didnt question it, and paid (no way would I have handed him our credit card under those conditions). When we got home later and saw the receipt, there were extra fees and charges never agreed to, not to mention a part was charged double its actual cost. When I called the shop to talk to them, there was no answer. Assuming he was with another customer, I called back a few more times. I suddenly got a response, and in a text conversation was called a clown for contacting him. I gave him some choices on how to proceed, and he threatened me multiple times, as well as calling me names more than once (apparently he thinks that calling his BUSINESS phone after hours -which I didnt know it was after hours, since he ANSWERED his business line with a text - is grounds for legal action and harassment...clearly, not a knowledgeable or business savvy person). We have written evidence to back up these claims, in addition to screenshots of the conversation that followed, since he insisted on texting, even though I pointed out to him that a written record of the conversation would be in my favor. We are walking away from it, and my husband has learned a lesson, as I dont have the time or the energy to deal with someone of his low character. Instead, I will report the business to the BBB, and leave plenty of reviews, so we can hopefully save others from this fate.

Honest fast and fair, They gave me a quote I returned a few days later to get the repairs done on my car.

I have been a loyal customer of Car Care Central for over a year, but I will never go back after my last visit. According to their website and their front door, they opened at 8 AM, so I informed my office that I’d be late for work and rushed over as soon as they opened—but apparently they changed their opening time to 8:30 AM without advertising anywhere. I ran a quick errand and came back at exactly 8:30 AM and was told by the owner that I could drop my car off and they could get to it later that day, that they had 4 cars leftover from the weekend to finish first. This, as he stood right in front of their sign advertising a quick 20-minute oil change, with no other customer in sight. What would have been a 20 minute ordeal would have turned into a half-day ordeal, so I left, late for work, with nothing accomplished. I had noticed that during my past couple visits they seemed more overwhelmed with work and their customer service had been less than amazing, but after this, I know that I can get better and far quicker service elsewhere. If you have a larger repair to be done, Car Care Central is probably fine, but if you have to get your oil changed its apparently hit or miss.

Some of the worst customer service I have experienced. Went in on 6 different occasions for an oil change. Tried both morning and afternoon as well as the weekend. Even offered to leave the car overnight, but they were unable to take care of it. They need to realize that ksl deals is a way to gain new customers, but they really blew that. I cant imagine how they can charge full price for this service. My money spent on the deal will be chalked up to a lesson learned.

I called in the morning and told them what time I would be in for an oil change. They told me to call 15 minutes before going in. I did and they said the wait was 45 minutes to an hour. I show up and he said he remembers telling me the wait time but that they couldnt get me in. I said I had called multiple times that day to make sure my car would be seen. He said he remembers talking to me but that he still couldnt get me in. Horrible service!!!!!!!!!!

So my husband has taken his car here a couple of times. and every time I was very unsure of this. Mainly because the reviews were pretty bad. And well you would think a business why they were getting awful reviews and what they could do differently. Over the last week this place has kept coming up with things wrong with my husbands car. And today went in to fix something with his car, and low a behold they something again. They said his brake line was brittle and it was broken. Which sounds like to me they broke it. But besides the point and what I am mainly writing this review because frankly I have had enough of this place. They proceeded to call him today at 2 to tell him his car wasnt going to be fixed til Monday, by the way, they close at 2 pm on Saturdays. Which leaves us (we have ONE car) without a car for the weekend. This was something that should have been said prior to them skipping off to their weekend plans. We would have gone back another day if we would have know we were going to be car-less from the weekend. So car care central, maybe start to think hard why your business is rated so poorly. Because you have lost our business for sure!

The absolute worst customer service I have ever received at any establishment I have been to. They advertise oil changes for $17 but really will charge you closer to $40 upon arrival. Their dishonestly linked with their horrible treatment towards customers makes this the least desirable auto shop in Utah. Notice how they respond to criticism by claiming that any criticism is spam. You will do yourself a huge favor by avoiding this place and taking your business elsewhere. I repeat, do not go here. Its a shabby auto shop with a shabby owner who displays blatantly rude behavior for no reason at all. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs!

The customer service is very poor. They are not accommodating to the customer at all. When I attempted to call and redeem a coupon, they would not allow me to finish my sentences and would interrupt me instead.

Simply called in to ask a question. The person who answered the phone was really rude and didnt even really answer my question. i would not give them my service!

RUN FROM THIS SHOP. Awful experience. I took my car in for a routine oil change after purchasing the service through Groupon. The service was ok for the price and I was out the door within 45 minutes. Normally I do my own oil changes, so this next time around I go to change my own oil only to find the bold stripped and torqued beyond spec into the base of the engine. I called the number found on google to ask if they would untourque it for me and I would pay for the oil and the new bolt. I told the representative that I wouldnt pay for the new labor as it was the shops fault. The guy called me a clown and hung up!! The local dealerships use this shop for routine maintenance and repairs. I bought my car from a dealership that uses this shop and I am nervous to see what clown worked on it last.

They took great care of my car and gave me more options for future maintenance. Ill be back for sure.

The worst place ever...STAY CLEAR..... I DARED bought a Groupon. Than was told by the owner after waiting 4 hours and I dare vented my frustration. On his Facebook page. But would be there in a minute. He called another guy at 930a they were across the street having breakfast. They guys that came Late. One of them is really unprofessional. So needless to say I have been here since 915am it is 1pm they have gotten 1 oil change out and that is it. There is 3 of them here and 2 people have left that were before me. And did not have them do there cars. But I am desperate to get my brakes fixed. Or I would be gone and getting my money back from Groupon. Dont even bother going there. Bought a KSL Deal, have been there 3 times and keep being told they are too busy for an oil change. THEY DO NOT DO APPOINTMENTS. So you just have to keep showing up and HOPE they can get you in for a 10 minute oil change. Got a refund from KSL.This is still a Meineke, just re-branded. Same crappy service, just a different name.To call this place this place a service center is an Oxymoron.

Good overall service and price but you will normally wait up to 4 hours for an oil change because they are so busy and dont do scheduled appointments.
