Had a great time. Safe range - watched a mandatory training video before using the range the first time. They were busy, but staff were all helpful and friendly - you just have to be patient like any business if you come during a busy time.I was traveling from out of state and did not bring any firearms, so I rented some of theirs, which was fun to shoot guns I dont own. It was a great way to spend a couple of my afternoons.
Wonderful place the staff is very professional and very accommodating it can get busy however if you get the right time a day you walk right in they are all up on safety which is good for everybody safety is everybody’s responsibility
Went in there to just buy 1 box of 20 self defense rounds and was told that unless I use the range or buy a gun they won’t sell ammo to me, both guys was cool but some lady at the door went on with some bullish!t about ammo still scarce and ya ya ya, apparently she hadn’t been around to other stores as of lately that have a good supply that don’t play that same bullish!t on you as she did, now not only will I never use this range but I will never purchase a gun from here never ever, so you lost a customer a big gun advocate that purchases several guns per year over a $34 box of ammo, and who’s to say I wouldn’t of bought a gun right then and there? I was in on 6/26/21 at 1:45pm, I’ll be sure to spread the word about the antics at this place
Called in advance to check hours, was told all was normal for Fathers Day. Brought my Dad in with his brand new gun for the guy to say sorry we are closing 3 hrs early! very disappointed. hopefully next time will be better.
Class went on longer than they said. Made me late to pick up my kid. Not happy about that.
The girl wasnt very friendly. Actually on the rude side..The guy was awesome. Why cant employees treat customers with happiness?Other than that, great store.
I really like Insight range. Sarah and Will are always pleasant and helpful. They have a wealth of knowledge and they are humble about sharing it. I took a course with Ivy and she was a superb instructor. Sherrie gave me a one in one lesson and was also a fantastic instructor.
Bf bought through their online store, everything was fine with the firearm. But...the place where you enter your private information is right infront if a high traffic area where everyone could not only read his social security number but the guy also read it out loud with everyone in ear range.Security for privacy needs to be a higher priority and if you are going through the process of a background check they should pull you into a private office or corner to the computer that is facing a wall rather than where people walk up right behind you and even customers can!
Just very pricey went in there a couple weeks back and spent 90$ for two boxes of 9 and range fee
Great single or family learning center.Friendly staff & very helpful for new shooters.Their “try before you buy “ program is the best.Memberships are available at a very reasonablecost. One visit & you’re a friend.
I finally got some time to go to the range and shoot for awhile. The staff was very busy but professional and accommodating. I picked my targets and bought some ammo. When I was done, I was informed that as a father, I would not be charged for the lane. It was fathers day after all. I was also given a new book on gun carry and self defense. Then I was even given a free gun cleaning kit as a gift as well. I had a great Fathers Day and Insight was part of it. Thank you.
I brought my 14 year-old son in on our first visit and we were treated very well. They were very pleasant and helpful to answer all questions. We both really enjoyed our visit and will be back soon.
Matt consistently over inflates his credentials, and is not as good an instructor as he would like to make you believe. To hear him tell it, he invented sight alignment and trigger control. He has come up with fancy names for sight alignment and trigger control and would have you pay extra money for a class that he says is so different because he does things better than anyone else.and if you really want to get an idea of what the temperature is around the building, get into an argument with Sherrie. Youll find out real quick just how unpleasant she can be.
Excellent training programs. They take their jobs very seriously and are very informative. Wayne is very articulate and even Shakespeare would be jealous of his mastery of the English language.
Purchased a firearm. Was a great price and got great service. The clerk was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and a fellow Marine. Will buy again.
Insight Firearms Shooting Center is run and managed by professionals that know what they are talking about. The ownership has many certificates and achievements in firearm training. From obtaining a CCW permit to the advanced classes this has been a great experience for my wife and I. Their staff is thorough and makes sure folks understand the laws regarding carrying firearms and know how each model and caliber works safely. I recommend Insight to anyone regardless of previous firearm experience.
The best gun range! Staff is always so kind and helpful, even if my questions are rather stupid........Wish the memberships were not so expensive - quite a bit high, when you are retired on a budget! I love this place, and always feel safe and comfortable. Thank you, Insight!
Nothing makes a place great like a great staff. Whether you are shopping the retail store or shooting at the range, these folks know their business and make you feel welcome and comfortable without judgement. I believe that is very important for the type of business that they are running. They have transferred firearms for me, sold me firearms, and I have utilized their range. Every experience was professional and friendly. I am looking forward to taking their CCW class in the near future.
Always a great experience when I come in. I love the shooting ranges, as its nice to shoot in AC during summer. Ivy, Jodi, and Sarah are always full of good information and have always gone out of their way to help me research or find what Im looking for. Theyve always been very courteous and after only visits, they know me by name.I cant recommend Insight enough, with their wide variety, the great service the reps provide, or just a nice place to shoot.
Great place to go for all your firearms needs. Very friendly staff and excellent training courses for firearm safety and knowledge.
Had an awesome experience with this store the other day. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Great prices. Clean facility.
A very helpful and expertly-staffed facility with the only indoor gun range north of Phoenix. You can rent a gun to practice with for very little money and their range ammo for practicing is pretty cheap. Renting can help with a buying decision, and if youre a serious buyer, they will let you try out a potential handgun purchase on the range. They have a large assortment of good accessories, too. Last but certainly not least, they have a very good assortment of new and used guns, with great prices and fair trade-in values, if you want to go that route. Only have good things to say about them, and Ive been there nearly 10x in the past six months.
Never again. bought 2 boxes of ammo shot for 15 min and spent almost $70 bucks.I called ahead and asked if I could work from the holster being in law-enforcement was told that was OK to do so since I was already weapon certified through my agency. When I got there I was told I could not work from the holster even though I’m in law-enforcement I told him I was given approval and they wanted to know just who authorized that since it was not allowed! I do not know the name of the man that was working the counter other than he had an accent and an attitude I will never go back for anything. I had been to the facility back when it was high noon and the gentleman the owned it was a medically retired LAPD officer that believed in treating people with respect. From this day forward all of my business will be going to Prescott Valley guns all of my referrals from my students and my friends I will be sending to Prescott Valley Guns.
I took the Concealed Carry Course here. It was a poor excuse for anything other than their attempt to sell everything they had. They stopped the Concealed Carry Class and inserted two hours of their advertisements and reasons you should buy everything from gun safes to their personal shooting course. Their sales pitch contained a lot of exaggerated and unnecessarily violent videos intended to frightened uninformed people into taking further shooting classes from them . I finally stopped the guy and asked WHEN he was going to finish the course I came for. When the class ended they passed EVERYONE without regard to knowledge or ability. If any one did not know the answers or got one one wrong they supplied the correct answers so everyone got a perfect score. Their were people in that class that had no business holding a gun, let alone carrying it concealed.
This happened a bit ago - but in talking to other people who had the same experience - I was encouraged to share. I took their concealed carry course a while back. The course was pretty good, no complaints. However after the class they advertised other services they were offering, one in particular was sharp-shooting. I talked to the lady owner and offered to pay in full for the course. I had a family member very ill of cancer and explained that I may have to move to another date if something happens. I was told this was ok and that I would get reminders, dont worry. As it turned out I never got reminders. I got a phone call on the day of telling me I was late and would not be allowed to come in and my $ was not to be refunded. I was at the hospital and said I can come in a little late, I was told no. (It was only an hour or so late) I asked why didnt I get this call yesterday? Or any reminders, but was met with It was my responsibility. I asked if I can then move it, I was told no, no refunds, no moving it. The best they can do is 50% off some other course 6 months later. So they wanted me to pay AGAIN! I tried to remind her of our conversation to no avail. I was out over $750! Why call day of? Why not work with me? Terrible place! Rude owner. Never going back.
Customer service is excellent! Huge inventory. Knowledgeable staff. And theyre friendly, doesnt matter if a veteran walks in or a heavily tattooed Hawaiian shirt wearing guy; they treat everyone with the upmost care and respect. I appreciate you guys! Ivy, Sean, and Cody are the best team Ive ever trained with. Theyve truly made me happy!!!
It was an alright range but the staff.. they are way too much in your business. They treat you like you are dumb. They can absolutely go about it with respect instead of making you feel so little about yourself. Guy yelled at me for bringing my gun back to its case... Not even kidding. The price is also way to much for how short the range is. Never again.
Staff there seemed annoyed when I asked for help.I patiently waited for staff to finish a personal conversation they were having with each other which lasted about ten minutes. Didn’t seem like they were interested in doing business at all. When they finally acknowledged me, the staff there was dismissive and unhelpful.
Awesome place nice friendly and very knowledge. Will being buy my guns and ammo from them in the future.
Took some friends and was able to take them into the training side. We ended up walking out with two new guns. We will be coming back. Outstanding customer service!
Horrible experience. They treat customers like theyre retarded and have never handled a gun or have any knowledge of a firearm. I was asking questions about certain guns and the guy was just pulling answers out of his ass. I could care less because I already knew what I wanted. So after buying the gun about 2 weeks later I took my girl friend there for some target practice and 2 workers there told us different things but one of them that had facial hair like a terrior got in my face about taking my unloaded gun from their tiny table to the table behind us to put into my bag. There was no one there but my girl friend and I. Bottom line Ive been shooting my whole life, I go shooting often, I carry a firearm. I dont need some old man with some of the worst smelling breath ever to be getting in my face about a unloaded gun. I will never be coming back here. We shot for 1 hour and there goes 40 bucks when I can just drive 10 mins away and shoot for free without some old nasty guy getting in our face. If anyone ever asks where to go shooting Im definitely not recommending this place. If you have experience with a firearm dont go here. Horrible experience.
Great place for the beginner. Knowledgeable, helpful staff. Prices are a little high but worth it for the help they provide when starting out. Awesome indoor range.
They should really say they close the store at 6 and the lanes at 5:30. Drove there to do a quick test fire and they were cleaning up. Wasted gas.
By far the best customer service in the area. I am always treated very well. They have a decent supply of firearms and accessories. The range is always clean as well.
I called this place only to be hung up on without even a hello when they picked up. then i called back trying to see if they could help me obtain a firearm. the female on the phone does not listen well at all when you tell her the exact model number from the manufactures sight. she is the one in charge of purchasing. and looks up some thing completely different. i repeated the model number and the specs for the gun i was looking for. sge still fails to listen and has an attitude acting i am wasting her time and making this out to be my fault that she has problems taking direction. this place is a mess and does not care about customer service or a potential customer. I am willing to pay them over 1k for a revolver and this is how they run a business. i will never call or go there again.
I went into this place after the new owners took over, and I tried really hard to give this new coorperate business a go. Being an old customer of Bobs, I went there to see if they would price match, lady was appalled, when I said what I could get it the same gun $50.00 cheaper on an order in gun from another vendor nearby.from Davidson Gallery of Guns in Prescott.I got the whole lecture about how it cost money to employ people, and do paperwork. She even got on the Gun Genie to check, and it was true, and refused to price match.Basically I left with the impression they didnt want my business. Sorry, but if thats the new standard of business,,, good luckI will take my business to a place that shows some customer respect, proven that I might have actually spend more money in ammo, accessories, and range fees in time, and make up the margin lost.Poor business practices if I studied under the right college course.
Went in on Veterans day and asked if they had any specials going on for the day,was told no. Got home and had an email, as lm on their list, saying free range time for veterans. They need to get organized
Very friendly people. Are helpful with new time shooters and have a proper training video before you step into the shooting range.
Top of the line indoor range! Best facility and instructors around.
Very clean and professional. Training is top notch and has improved my shooting 100%
An excellent range and store now open as Insight Shooting Center. The old High Noon is what closed.
They know their stuff. This is a top shelf gun store.
Great folks, to work with and knowledgable.
Ivy Jones RATING HER OWN PLACE... CONFLICT OF INTEREST...YOU THINK!!!!!!!
