Ive been going to this place since I was a child, although it is under new ownership its still a place my kids and I enjoy going to. The food is awesome. Everything is fair priced, and the people are always so nice and friendly. Couldnt be happier to have it right next to my house.

Best BLT I’ve had in my life

I have eaten the pork chops, Turkey/bacon club, and the gizzards. They were all fresh and the customer service has always been perfect. Highly Recommend.

Big lunch menu, but ive only had one thing the 4 or 5 times ive been to the Zippy Mart. I only order the fried pork chop sandwich. Two pork chops, bone-in, deep fried in a nice crispy batter, served on 2 slices of Wonder bread. This sandwich ranks up there as one of the best sandwiches you can find in Hampton Roads. Needs mayo, though. Theyll put some on there, but youve gotta remember to ask for it.You can call your order in ahead of time. Sometimes theres long lines around noon, but dont go in too late, because they run out of stuff. I went in at 2:00 and they were out of pork chops and the fryer was off. They offered to make more but it would be a long wait.Nice staff. Very efficient and zippy. Good atmosphere. Old school, local mini mart, corner store kind of place. Its a little out of the way unless you work near Maryview, but definitely worth going out of your way for a great lunch.
