I am BIG on Customer Service and the courtesy that I received this morning from Courtney was refreshing...especially in this day and time. Not only did she attend to my needs in a timely fashion, she also informed me of all of my options. If only the world had more people like Courtney! The manager of pharmacy is horrible and the employees under her are no better. They have given me false information and have no regard for my time. I also have been given the run around. I recommend Walgreens on high street to anyone before going to cvs

Went to this location and it was a good experience. I needed help locating something in store and a nice lady stocking shelves brought me right over to what I needed, and was friendly about it. The lady at the counter was social and nice. The store looked visible clean and well stocked. I did not use the pharmacy.

Ive done hundreds, if not thousands, of reviews, and this my first 1 star review ever. There are no words to describe the incompetence of the staff at this location, and the atrocious reviews my others and myself confirm this. Absolutely terrible beyond words. Do not go here if you can help it. You will waste your time and mental health. Never in my life have I experienced service even close to this bad--mind boggling, deliberately terrible service. No words can describe this atrocity of this establishment.

I was there for my first covid-19 shot. The staff were all so kind and helpful!! My appointment was at 1:00 and I was out by 1:23 with my 15 minute wait after the shot. Great experience all around!!! Ill be back in 28 days!! Diffenately Five stars!!!!!

I had a appointment for my COVID-19 vaccine on February 17th and I was one of the unlucky ones that didn’t get the vaccine because of the weather. I was called by someone at that branch and was told to come in on Friday the same time. But when I called back on Friday I was told that the vaccine was still not being delivered. I was told that once the branch received the vaccine I would receive a new time It is now over a week and no one has rescheduled me. It took along time to get the schedule and I feel that the High Street branch just kicked me off the list. No one should be treated like this.

Continuously fails to fill subscriptions correctly. Made an appt for the drive through and got there to find a hand written sign on the window saying drive through closed with a frowny face. Just go to the cvs in target at Chesapeake square. So much better.

Said ready in two hours??? Ibuprofen??? Tylenol and antibiotics??? What is wrong with this place!!! So disappointed and upset... my husband had a tooth pulled... not to mention it took 10 minutes to acknowledge my scripts in hand... went back in 2.5 hours and only got one prescription... shame on you!!! My husband is in pain and at risk for an infection... sadly my insurance has to deal with this company...

Worlds worst pharmacy. It routinely takes a minimum of a week to get them on the phone after spending a half hour or more on multiple unanswered holds. They screwed up a prescription transfer 4 times before getting it right. My first refill was called in 4 days ago and it is still not ready. They asked if I wanted to expedite it. Worst of all, it is the preferred pharmacy of my worthless insurance company so I cant change without a penalty.Avoid this place at all costs!

Prescription was sent over by the doctor electronically over 24 hours prior to me going to the store. CVS has the prescription, but they dont know why it wasnt filled. There system has holes that need to be corrected. This is not the first time, it has happened several times.

Literally the worst CVS Pharmacy in Hampton Roads. They cant fill a prescription to save their lives. Im assuming their phones dont work because theyve never answered for me. I actually have called and after waiting for someone to pickup for 30 minutes, drove there and was helped at the window. There wasnt a line so Im not sure why they couldnt answer the phone. Ive never gotten a script filled in the amount of time theyve given me. Currently on week 2 of waiting for them to fill one they had to order the medicine for. It was supposed to take 3 days for them to get it. Total incompetence.

I waited 30 mins at the drive thru at 1 pm today. 24 of those I was at the window and not acknowledged. They were dealing with a lady at the other spot and instead of asking her to come in with her issues they let the drive thru back up. They could have ATLEAST acknowledged i was there. I called at 530 and was on hold, drove there, and stood in line 39 minutes and still nobody answered the phone! Definitely will be moving our prescriptions! Terrible customer service!!!

Update your hours. Second time your pharmacy has been closed at night, turns out you are no longer a 24 hour pharmacy. This is the last straw. Your staff are really nice and do the best they can but this has to be the most MISMANAGED pharmacy I have ever seen. I cant count how many times prescriptions have been late or not filled. Theres always a huge line as well. Its always chaos. And forget calling - they almost never answer the phone because they are so understaffed. Unbelievable

They tell you your prescription will be ready at 6:30 pm latest. At 8pm you sit in drive thru 20 minutes to be told...we will get it ready in 30 minutes. Not once, but basically every time.Glad I use Walgreens.

If I could give this location a zero I absolutely would. Im visiting the area out of town and had a prescription called in around 8AM and later called at 10AM to see if it had been received and when it would be ready. No answer, and I was left on hold for over 30 minutes. I then called the front of the store and asked a young lady if the pharmacy was open, she stated they were busy and had no other answer. I asked if she could see if someone would answer the phone and she put me on hold for over 45 minutes, which I was still on when I drove to CVS to see what was going on with my prescription. When I got there I spoke to a manager who informed me there was one tech working and the rest had called out, hence the delays. I understand that completely and know what its like to be short staffed. I have worked in retail and still do. What I do not appreciate is being left on hold for nearly an hour when answering the phone and explaining that would have sufficed. I wouldnt have wasted my gas and time and sent my prescription elsewhere. Instead he chose to lay the blame elsewhere and stated corporate does not care about him or their location, that it wasnt his fault that he was not the one to answer the phone. That he worked in his fathers pharmacy that was bought out by CVS and that he had nowhere else to go. Literally his words! Before he began on a tangent that started with his voice being raised at me, I let him know as a customer and someone that has used CVS for years without issue, being left on hold for almost an hour without an answer, without the front of the store being busy, was a problem. He was unsympathetic at all, stated it happens all the time, and that I was twisting my words for pointing out that he works for a company he clearly does not care for. I then asked for the store manager, Akima, and when she will be in, and will be contacting her later this week. Do not send your prescriptions here, do not waste your time trying to reason with the employees, take your medications at another pharmacy and especially not this CVS.

They are the only pharmacy Ive ever seen will tell you that their going to call your Doctor and never do it. I actually called them for a refill about 6 days before it expires and they finally called/ text me to say it was ready 6 days later. I came in and they said your prescription has expired but they had it right in their hands, they said, we will call your Doctor and I already knew to go see my Physician for another because they never call. The crazy thing is when I returned with a new prescription they advised me that they had to order it. SMH ! I use to love Rite aid.

Numerous times now they have either said via phone or text that my prescriptions were ready, but they were not ready when I subsequently went to pick them up. The line at the pharmacy is always super long and slow. Completely disorganized and always chaotic. They claim every time that they are understaffed, but this seems to be the norm. Employees are always rude and/or do not care. I’d highly recommend the Walgreens across the street. Never had an issue with them.

Went today to get scripts filled after oral surgery. It was around noon and was told the pharmacist didnt feel good and my scripts could not be filled. I was told to try again when the night pharmacist came in. Whats up with that??? Ended up getting them across the street at Rite-aid in less than an hour.

The worst CVS pharmacy. Been on hold for an hour trying to get to the pharmacy. They’ll call every day saying your prescription is ready, you go to pick it up, and it’s not available for pickup. Drive thru is insane and gets backed up but trying to go into the store is just as bad of a wait. They’re so disorganized and this place sucks.

You will give hours before trying to pick things up and they still won’t be ready. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Every time my husband needs his medication something goes wrong. They have to order it, or its backordered and your not told until you drive 30 minutes to pick it up. I unfortunately HAVE to use this pharmacy because of insurance. They suck.

I never use CVS Pharmacy, but I did this trip because of the minute clinic (which was fantastic). My script was sent over at 12:30pm. I called at 2:30, still not ready and advised they didn’t know when it would be ready. I went up there at 6pm, as that should be plenty of time. The lady said they are swapped and only 2 people there. But she would expedite it. I waited 30 mins and she said it still wasn’t filled and didn’t know. So I went home, called at 7:30 and was advised to come in to expedite and would be filled in 20 mins. I told her I was alreadly there and told the same thing. How could I be for sure now this time. I hate causing drama and being that person that has to assert themselves, I work retail and understand. I have to be up to work early and I need the antibiotics to feel better. It’s almost 8pm and I’m going in now, wish me luck.

The pharmacy is a joke. First and last time going here. The tech in the pharmacy flat out lied to me and I overheard her lie to another customer... my normal Cvs didnt have my rx but this one did so off I went, when I got there they told me my normal cvs didnt call them which was a lie, I watched my pharmacy do it. Then they didnt want to find the prescription. The tech walked away from me and told a lady in the drive through her meds still wernt ready because they had call outs and then the pharmacist asked who called out and she said no one.... if they are willing to lie about small things why should I trust them with my medications? Had to wait almost an hour for them to pull a box off the shelf and hand it to me. The staff just let the phone ring and ring and never once attempted to answer it. Do your self a favor and just dont. Im very surprised cvs corporate allows this.

Waiting on line currently for 20 minutes for a person to turn in a prescription and wait on the pickup like to have it filled. All cars in line have turned off engines. This is a regular occurence. Plus they text your phone to death and the rx isnt ready when you go to pick it up. Terrible pharmacy. I am switching all our scripts to RITEAID

Finally recieve my sons prescription get home and whats supposed to be a supply of 60, I recieved 14! So I call the pharmacy only to sit on the phone waiting for 40mins! Tried calling the store to see if my sons amoxacilan was ready, Dr called it in before 11 this morning, but I had no texts saying it was ready, so I called. After 30 minutes on hold, we drove to the store on high Street in Portsmouth, while still on hold. Had to wait in line for my turn, when I did get to the counter, I asked if their phones were down, he said no they work, but with only 4 of them in the pharmacy, they did not have time to answer them,. Showed him my phone, I had been on hold for 53 minutes. So I asked about the prescription, not ready yet..said he would put a rush on it if I could wait for 5 to 10 min. I said ok. 35 minutes later,. Its now 7 pm, i got back in line and waited for my turn, asked again about our perscription,. It had been filled and laying there for 20 minutes. I will never deal with this store again.

This morning I called about sea band mama (which seemed to either be sold out everywhere or simply not sold in stores) because my phone would not change location to see product availability. One stayed on the phone while the other went to check. They were both so sweet and didn’t make me feel like a bother. I came in about half an hour later and one woman showed me where it was and informed me on the CVS brand. It seems simple but I was miserable this morning & not in the mood. Obviously I felt sick to my stomach but they both were so helpful over the phone and in person. I had such a pleasant experience. Thank you ladies!!!!

I drop off a proscription on a Thursday to pick up over the weekend and they lost it!!!They have video of them labeling it but me never pick g it up. They have no record of me picking it up and I even shopped them my bank statement.Because it is Adderall I have to pick up a 30 day prescription from my doc cant be reordered or sent in.They did nothing to help!!I have fo go 30 days with out my AdderallSomeone there must of stolen them and will do nothing to help me !!!

Aug 2021 - rarely PURCHASE from CVS and REQUIRED SELF-CHECKOUT is a high reason to STAY AWAY! Took 2x as long to get checked out as un-trained customers must check themselves out by an overly complicated machine. 2inute checkout is now 8 minutes a piece.6/21. Was 5 stars dropped to 3. Another business putting customers to work. Everyone pushed to a single self-checkout while employees stock shelves. SmhAlways happy here. Had a rain check that was honored 6 months later. Customer service has always been top notch.

Ive been done wrong twice by this CVS and it made a huge impact on me physically and emotionally due to unconcerned employee and my health. Ive witnessed texting while filling meds from the drive through window and when I said something I get attitude. Ive contacted the state board of pharmacy regarding the issue. I would rank this a zero if they would let me. They are having a problem with stock and then hold your prescription without telling you that they cant fill it. When you go to pick up your prescription they then tell you they dont have it in stock and go to the Frederick Blvd, store. Save you some time and either go to Walgreen store next door or go to the Frederick Blvd, store.
