Very friendly staff. Climbs are very interesting. The bouldering area is closed for a comp coming up, but by the sound of those setters, it will be a great one!

Climbing is supposed to have a moment of awe, every time; whether it’s the view or that feeling of a successful send. EVO is big enough, open enough, & just plain cool enough to bring a little bit of awe inside. There’s multiple routes for everyone, kids stuff, crazy & fun bouldering problems, & walls tall enough to induce some arm shaking.Best of all, the vibe is inclusive (no small feat in climbing gyms), & staff is friendly & knowledgeable.Highly recommended.

Overall, this place was SUPER fun. It had higher walls than Ive climbed before, and a great selection of 5.6 through 5.14. I spent less time bouldering but it seemed to be the more popular area of the gym. The only thing I didnt love was that the liquid chalk was very expensive and a necessity to use. That said, they supplied some bottles for free use as well.Overall, indoor climbing here was fantastic!

Great bouldering wall and expansive belay courses. Not too pricey, and very helpful staff.

$20 for a day pass with ladies night on Wednesdays means its pretty affordable to come here with friends on a weeknight! They have a cap of 50 people right now, so we called ahead to make sure we wouldnt be bringing them to capacity (you can also check the site). The bouldering section isnt huge but its nice, wish the routes were slightly better labeled / consistently tagged with v#s. The top rope section was much larger. Theres also an upstairs weight room and treadwall, which we didnt use.Good, friendly service, cool-looking swag. Fun times!

I love going here and have a monthly membership. They have really friendly staff! I wish they were open earlier so I could climb/workout before work, but other than that I would recommend this place! They have great yoga classes as well!

Great service, respectful of the diversity of the community, and clean. I like that there are lots of fringe benefits for the price of the gym: community, great yoga instructors, events. I always feel at home whether Im with my partner or mother.

We took the beginners class and were so impressed with the instructor (Sam). By the end of the class, my husband and I who have never climbed were completely comfortable climbing without any guidance. We cant wait to go back!

I am so happy to have this gym here! This gym gives the people in Portland a place to challenge themselves and learn to be a better climber and community! This gym has great routes and I have personally become a stronger climber by coming here! I love the staff and I will return!

I really like Evo. I wish they were open at 6 am every day and open later on Sunday. It would allow a lot of people to use the gym before work.

Ive been to about 10 random rock gyms around the country in the last couple years while travelling, this was easily in the top ranks. Tall walls, good routes, good equipment and setups. Very good.Only minor complaints: the route setters appear to like reach-y routes (a lot more moves required full wingspan and were disproportionally harder for my wife), and the tape-coordination for marking routes is always a slight frustration. Still, waaaay better than I expected.

Only people 14 or older can do anything else but climb a total of 4 walls, one of which is the boulder wall. Third party waiver as well, it was really hard to understand. Probably will never come back, or at least 2 damn years.
