I knew what I wanted & asked whether they could get a specific shoe in a specific color. They were able to arrange to do that overnight! The staff was great and made the purchase easy.

Came in for work shoes and Josie was great! She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and happy both with my shoes and my shopping experience as well as made sure to address any foot issues I had. Definitely coming back to see her for my future shoe needs!

Eric and Shane are shoe/foot magicians. Helped me trouble shoot an insole solution for some stiff hiking/climbing boots. I tried on over a dozen insoles at half a dozen other footwear stores prior to this. Friendly, uber knowledgeable staff!

Spring is calling for me to get out and move my body intentionally, especially after spending the winter in a pandemic. I went to Shoe Mill just hoping to try on a few different types of running shoes to see which ones felt the most comfortable. I didn’t intend to buy a pair today, but I ended up having the most wonderful interaction with one of the sales clerks, Eric.Eric was incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. He sized my feet and gave me super helpful information about the intersection between foot anatomy, and what makes a good running shoe, as well as helped me find a good pair of inserts.I will be returning to Eric for shoe advice in the future, and I’ve already told my roommate about how positive my experience was... I may actually fall in love with running, now that I have shoes that properly fit my specific feet. 🤗 Thank you, Eric!

I bought boots and shoes for my wife during . She is currently pregnant and eric got us awesome shoes that looked great but more importantly gave her the comfort she needs. Amazing customer service at Cascade Station and Lloyd center thanks to Barb. I saw her at Lloyd center and she made a recommendation for me to bring in a pair of shoes that were less than a year old with what I believed qualified as a manufacturer problem.Since it was over the 6 month mark, I made an assumption that nothing could be done. I was actually considering buying a second pair in another color up until this point. I loved the shoes, but could not justify spending the money on something that just did not seem to last.I went in expecting them unable to return or make a claim because of the amount of time I had the shoes. I thought I was going to have to demote a very comfortable pair of shoes to dog walking and yard work.When I brought my shoes in to see Barb and her associate at Cascade Station and showed them the problem, I was offered an amazing store credit, which just blew my mind.I left with a new pair of shoes in the exact style I was looking for. Above and beyond in my opinion. Will absolutely purchase shoes here in the future.

Thanks to Barbara at the Cascade Station Shoe Mill, my opinion of the organization has been turned around. I’ve received less than poor service at the Gresham store more than once. Most recently, the guy went to “check” for my size in the back and came out to say they didn’t have it. Did not offer to check at a different store or anything. This is the same guy I’ve previously had poor service from.Move over Gresham, Cascade Station takes the cake. I walked in 30 minutes before closing to find boots. I wear size 11 in women’s, so shoe shopping can be a chore. Barbara brought out several options & offered to order boots if needed. Because of her stellar service, I walked out with 2 pairs of boots, 1 pair of shoes, and some fabulous socks from Sockwell!Thank you Barbara! You are an asset to this organization. I appreciate everything you’ve done to help me!And FYI Shoe Mill, my mom has been going to Gresham for years. She has also experienced the poor service and is questioning her choice of stores. I’ve referred her to Cascade Station as well.

He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of shoes as well as specific details to each manufacturers shoes. Knowledge Staff. Great shoes if you need to be on your feet for hours.

Unfortunately the clerk working didn’t even bother to greet us when we walked in the door. Then he wasn’t engaging at all and I felt like I was imposing by asking to have my feet sized. Then explaining my needs he wasn’t really offering selections. I honestly thought I had come in when they were not open. Poor service we left very quickly. Not impressed.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The only shoes I liked were on the sale rack and a half size too small. The staff there said they could check in their other store for a larger size and could have it sent to their store so I could try it on with no commitment to buy. They didnt even try and upsell me on a non-sale shoe. When they got the shoe into their store they gave me a call and I went to try it on. It then had the issue of being slightly too big so they offered to put some inserts into the shoe at no extra charge to make them fit better. I ended up buying the pair of shoes and would happily shop there again for a great pair of quality shoes.

Lady who helped me was super nice. I bought two pairs of shoes, one of which I returned 2 weeks later. No hassle with the return, and the lady remembered who I was. Shoes are a bit pricey.

The store was empty but I was completely ignored. The sales clerks were too busy looking at their phones. Then when customers came in after me they were greeted and serviced. We have spent hundreds of dollars there but no more. You have lost a loyal customer.

A wonderful place to get shoes! The staff there was really really helpful and friendly in getting me a new pair of shoes. Although the selection was slightly limited in comparison to other larger stores, this store had many different varieties that I enjoyed.

This store and the people that work there are so great!I have the worst feet ever, so buying new shoes is a process. Trevor was able to help me decide on an awesome pair of birkenstock ankle boots while answering so many of my ultra specific questions - super helpful! After I took them home, I realized they were a little too roomy. I called the next day, and Belinda helped me to customize them with free cork inserts since we discovered that I was in between sizes. Both of them were so kind and informative!I highly recommend Shoe Mill if you have difficulty finding the right shoe for your foot and need some awesome people who are willing to help. Thanks guys!

Gal that was helping me was barely polite. Didnt have very good stock of utility shoes and didnt know hardly any information on the various brands that had utility lines of shoes. Wouldnt buy from them just because of lack of knowledge and the sales persons attitude. Had she been more helpful, I would have been willing to order shoes and buy a couple of other pair of shoes.

They seemed to have a lot to choose from. Had the owner/ employee shown any interest in having a customer, they probably could have made a sale.

Finally!! A shoe experience that actually helped my poor feet. I never write reviews but I always read them to help me make the best choice so I hope this will help someone else. They have a lot of quality shoes to choose from but its not just the shoes, its the knowledge that really made all the difference. Id love to share the details for those who may be like me, hopeless and with a closet full of expensive shoes that dont work.I literally hobbled into Shoe Mill at Cascade Station after running a few errands; not really thinking that I would find anything. I have bunions and weird arches and spend hundreds of dollars on shoes that feel fine in the store but a week later, if that, my feet start aching.Now I want to mention Barbara! She listened to me explain my issues and then brought me 4 pairs of different shoes that she thought would work for me. I could really feel her understanding my issues and sure enough all shoes worked. I didnt spend an hour trying on a bunch of shoes and I couldnt believe that I was going to buy the first shoes I tried on. I bought a pair of Hoka tennis shoes, Dansko Mary Janes and Dansko ankle boot. I had mentioned a pair of ecco shoes that I had at home that I love but cant wear too long before hurting. She told me to try out my shoes at home to make sure they worked and also to bring in my eccos sometime and she would see if any inserts would work.Unfortunately, the boots I picked started hurting my bunion as I wore them around the house because they have a slight heel. I brought them back and tried the other pair she had brought out the first time and they felt so much better after trying the other pair for a week. She also picked out a pair of inserts that we put in my eccos and I couldnt believe it, they felt like a brand new pair of shoes. I wanted to write a review right away because I was so excited but I wanted a little time to pass to make sure the shoes really worked. Its been 3 weeks now and the shoes are all working great. I had not been doing much of walking at all and even walking from my parking lot at work to the office was painful. Now I feel so much more energized and didnt even realize how much the pain was affecting my day. Im so thankful and I appreciate Barbara so much. I have her card and will only go to this store if I can help it. Im hopeful for the first time in a very long time that I will be able to find shoes with their help. I couldnt help but feel discriminated against. I walked into the store not a hello or acknowledgment. I understand, after all with everyone being busy I chalked it up to that. However, after about 15 minutes of me browsing around and other people coming in after me I couldnt help notice the difference in greeting Hello Folks, how are you doing? and being attended quickly and before me. I was the only Mexican-American in the store ready to drop $200 on a pair of shoes but seeing that no one offered to help me or even come up to greet me I couldnt help but feel discriminated against. After going through this experience I decided to leave the store. Id much rather see how The Walking Company does on their customer service etiquette and if theyre even an ounce better (which wont be difficult) Ill buy 2 pairs of shoes! Never again Shoe Mill!

First off I hate shoe buying, my tastes are really particular. Tony who helped me because my Blundstone boots didnt have enough arch support, or some kind of support, and my feet have been killing me at work, showed me some shoes with better arch, but they werent my style. And without any asking Tony broke out some high end arch supports, and they were perfect for my aching feet. They carried Blundstone boots (my one and only shoe for the last 20 years) which is rare to find a shoe place that does, and so I ordered a new pair to replace my aging ones I wear now, and theyll have great arch support now too. Its rare I get a sales person who knows their field, and Tony really knew his. Seriously made my day cause like I said, I hate shoe shopping, and in the end I got to keep my favorite shoes that now have major upgrades.

Had a problem with a prior purchase that they handled quickly and efficiently. Great service and people!
