Amazing and unique selection of sauces and other food and drinks. It’s nice they are knowledgeable about the food and can recommend one or two. I can vouch for the sauces… they’re some of the best out there!

I found this place looking for a store in which I could fine quality food and items that a professional chef would use. I was recommended to look at this place and I was not disappointed. At Real Good Food, you find quality speciality items that help you expand your recipes and tailor the flavors. The staff is very knowledgeable and are able to help you in anything related to cooking.The major items that they stock are: wine, vinegar, olive oil, grains, specific cheese, bread, etc.I am very excite to go to their workshops and classes to learn more about the art of cooking. This is truly a hidden gem within Portland.

This place makes you a food nerd !In the best way !Jim taught me that I didn’t have to wait to use good olive oil, and that I didn’t have to spend a lot of money to eat well!Come in on a Friday and catch their fresh bread Friday’s AND the owner is probably cooking up a demo or 2 for his weekly newsletter.Plus, parking in the back!

On the one hand, I want the whole world to know about this place and see it thrive for generations to come. On the other hand, I dont want to have to engage in fisticuffs for that last bottle of Katz vinegar or bag of fresh milled flour. Great shop, friendly staff and civil patrons (present company excluded). Stop in; your cooking, baking and kitchen will thank you.

All I can say is I love Wellspent Market ... been in love for some time now. Go there friends, spend your hard earned money on good quality ingredients, small producers, family owned business, local businesses ... all the things we should be investing our money and time in. Support this business, you wont be disappointed.

This has been our preferred spot for olive oil and salt for several years now. The SE Main St. location is only open selected hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I believe hes also at the downtown Farmers market some weeks. I recommend getting on the mailing list, to keep up to date with changes to the schedule. Its wonderful to sample their different oils, ranging from an excellent every day oil to more exotic offerings. Having a specialist for oil and salt is one of the things that makes Portland a fun place.Update - June 2019 - Real Good Food has now moved into a lovely new home on NE Couch (at 10th, I believe). The new space gives them more room for new products - we picked up a package of salt that is harvested from the insides of barrels used to produce fish sauce. They also carry Dukes mayonnaise, which makes a friend from the south very happy. Be sure to try their Spanish vermouth - incredibly refreshing. And its still the best place in town for olive oil and specialty vinegar.

Been getting RGF products for years now. So happy to see they’ve got a brick and mortar store! Best olive oil, salt, everything you need to make your everyday meals taste awesome (and fool people into thinking you’re a good cook). Also, super chill place that has vermouth on tap. The spritzers are great and ambiance is relaxed and fun.

Amazing selection of quinquia apertif in Portland. I had been searching for several bottles for a month and was excited to find their store. Many other amazing items to sample and purchase as well. Overall a great addition to our central east side district.

I been a customer for a very long time. The new location is a magical place. Jim is a special person with extraordinary taste and a genuine human being. I always ask his advise, he now knows my taste and is incredibly helpful and fun.This community is lucky to have him and his incredible pasta, brown rice, beans,salt olive oil etc.

Wow.. completely dissatisfied!Purchased the stuff chicken bites with artichoke... Hardly any Stuffing.. Rubbery chicken and very salty!!A good waste of $6.99!!And I was excited.. wont be purchasing any other products!! SMH

I happened to stop in here while walking by and was pleasantly surprised. There were specialty food items and a whole bunch of wine.

I go for the olive oil, stay for a vermouth spritz at the bar, and leave with a new ingredient like aged tamari. The perfect shopping stop!
