The people here really seem to love the holiday and EXCEL at customer service. Im tough to please at Halloween because Im very picky and have wacky ideas, but they stick with me to find something that will work. This particular store has a gal up front that is cheery, fun, and has a great smile. She made my day.
Not sure if its too soon in the year, but this place truly has nothing compared to the Lloyd Center location. If I need anything from Spirit, Ill definitely be making the trip to Lloyd Center rather than here. Otherwise, the cashier was a very friendly older woman. I could care less, though, for the younger people consistently running around and yelling/running into me, as well as the adults not paying attention to their children who are doing the same. Overall just not much to see here in comparison to the other location. And I would add that some cheaply made decorations from Spirit Halloween altogether can be bought at other places like Walmart for a fourth of the price (ex: $20 Halloween pumpkin/skull lights @ Walmart for $4.98).
Come here every Halloween just to see what’s there for some reason I’m always looking for dog costumes. I never find them though :(
It’s a great place to go if you need a last-minute costume. Be warned that almost anything you buy there is very cheaply made and very overpriced. I guess it’s fair because they’re just a seasonal business and they need to make enough money to cover their expenses I’m not complaining that they’re doing anything wrong it’s just unexpected go there and find the best quality as far as variety goes they have an excellent variety. One last point I do not at this location but at the Lloyd Center location when we were there there was a security guard that was following someone around who had a stroller and it was a very blatantly following his person around he was not looking suspicious at all and I didn’t really like that but again it wasn’t this location and hasn’t affected my star rating this was at the Lloyd Center location
Lots of merchandise to choose from. Although, if you wanted specific items, go earlier on the season.
This store was awful! I counted over 10 people not wearing masks! There are children and older people shopping and ITS A MANDATE! I asked if they were enforcing masks and was told it was too busy. Last time for us!
So spirit usually has a better selection than PartyCity. Their sizes are bit inconsistent, but try them on at the store and its not a huge deal. They also carry Plus Sizes, though if you want those try to shop earlier in the season or look online, sometimes closer to Halloween they have sold out. They also have super cute decor for indoor and outdoor spaces. Never dissapointed.
So I have been an assistant manager and a manager of several spirit Halloween stores. Been a couple years since I went into one. Just dropped in to get some black lights and other decor. I asked if one of the lights could be plugged in because I needed to see if some paint samples would glow. If not I would change plans and get other things. The store by the Vancouver mall had been willing to, I just didnt have the samples with me at that time. They flat out refused saying it was not allowed at all. Going to have to go somewhere else now, which means someone else is getting my money.
Spoooooooooooky! We got some great decorations for Halloween. Because it is so early, it was mostly empty and the new staff were very green. They have some of the bigger, much scarier items you cant find at Home Depot or Fred Meyer. Prices are a bit high.
It was a wonderful experience. Employees were on point when it came to assistance. However very limited selection and varieties in comparison to the store located near 122nd and Glisan.
Took the bus there for over an hour to buy a costume. Brought my backpack to save a bag. Store has a no large bag policy, which is understandable. They wouldnt let me set it down anywhere while shopping and kicked me out.
10/10 best employees and place to get everyday clothes :>
Man! They have EVERYTHING!! But be ready for a long line, specially this week! Happy Halloween!!👹👺💀☠👻
Out of stock on many items and unreliable buisiness hours
Cant wait until they have everything! We are most definitely getting new stuff to make our house more creepy
Hide and seek in this place is pretty fun 😜
Way over priced and the staff behind the counter felt very uninterested (though working retail is brutal so I get it). But really, the price for a kids pirate costume was $40. Just ened up buying a couple accessories and skipped full costumes.
A favorite family tradition.
Love this place I come here every year.
Their costume seems small even with an extra large. For adults
Short staffed. Had to seek out care. Limited quantity and sizes to select from.
Went on Friday September 15th, Mak and Asia were the worst at helping. Only let us try on one costume, then said we will want to try on another and Asia walked away. Will go to other locations from now on.
Never again waste my time or money on cheap products that are overpriced.
I loved the scary Ness of all the robots
Nice selection, price point is high as expected
Dirty dirty dirty and stuff was everywhere. It was like black Friday
Fun selection
Very nice employees
Long line, expected to donate with every purchase, expensive.
The improve every year
Waste of money
Sweet
Love it
Overpriced
Well I went and did not find the costume you wanted I think if it is a costume shop you have to have everything 😑😑
