Had a quick meeting in the lower level this evening - what a lively space! Lots of different areas for activities and meetings. Staff was attentive and kept us supplied with hot water for tea while we discussed some weighty topics. My only critique is that bustling in on a rainy evening with only a minute to spare, I was had pressed to make sense of exactly where my meeting was happening. There was some signage up to show what was happening in what room, but I didnt immediately see a map against which I could apply that information.

I would like to start by saying that Christina Myreck was wonderful. She was such a great help at our event. She made sure everything was set up and worked perfectly. She is definitely an asset for your business. On the other hand, I had a terrible experience with Brandy Velasquez. She was unresponsive when emailed and called. When contact was made with Brandy, she was rude. She made it clear that I was bothering her by asking her questions about the rental spaces. Even though, she not once reached out to me to set expectations about the space rental. And lastly, she knew nothing about the history of the church. I am a business owner and would not tolerate such inappropriate behavior to my customers. The Sanctuary and Commons are both great for spaces and I would recommend them to others. I would just forewarn them that they would receive horrible customer service from Brandy Velasquez.

I really wasnt expecting much from this place. I was incredibly surprised. The kitchen is MASSIVE and very well stocked with an industrial dishwasher, industrial gas stove and ovens and even a salamander. The main hall has a small stage with a sound system, plenty of tables and chairs and good lighting. It isnt modern or chic but its comfortable and VERY well maintained. So happy Ill be renting there again.

This is such a wonderful community space. Its a great place to grab a snack and a warm beverage and set up your office away from home. Its also very good for one-on-one meetings. Its super cozy. I can spend hours there. And you dont feel any pressure to continue purchasing anything. They have a great childs play area and lots of comfy places to sit. They even have a coat rack where you can hang up your jacket and really make yourself at home. Even when its crowded and never feels too loud or distracting. Im so thankful this place is relatively close to my neighborhood.

When you’re looking for the definition of community, Tabor space is it. I’ve watch a number of shows here and this is a great place, with a number of performance venues located within a old church but still regularly holds mass. The coffee shop is a great place to learn how to be a barista and I even went so far as to write an article for the southeast examiner advertising this.

A great event venue! I have both attended meetings and events here, and been the show (or part of it) as a choir singer. A nice space, conveniently located and accessible, with parking. Smart of this church to answer declining religious attendance in a modern world by becoming a part time secular venue for rent! SMART, SMART!

Hands down one of my favorite coffee/tea shops in Portland. Not for the coffee or food, although those are great, but simply for the space. I used to spend an entire day here working remotely and now love bringing my 9 month old son and letting him crawl around in the little kiddo corner. I love the many community activities taking place in and around the space and the way the community comes together here.

This is my go to spot for getting work done outside of my office. The space is very comfortable, the coffee shop has great coffee and the people are all very friendly. The communal space is not always open, sometimes it is rented out for events, but it does appear they keep the status of the space updated on their website. I highly recommend stopping by for a cup of coffee if you are looking for a new spot to relax or get a little work done away from your home or office.
