The food is absolutely delicious! I got the breakfast bagel sandwich with egg and cheese, for my bagel choice I picked the salt n herb bagel. My brother tried the everything bagel and they were both yummy! The latte I tried was milky way flavored and I would definitely get it again. I highly recommend this place!

I ordered the salmon lox scramble with whole wheat toast, my partner got a bacon egg sammy on a cheddar jalapeño bagel. Then I got a blended bodiga (?¿ chocolate orange) coffee and a oregon berry smoothie. The scramble was okay, the price was good. The bagel was good according to my partner. The blended coffee was a bit overbearing and gave me a headache, while the smoothie had a water down taste and wasnt seived so I got a ton of berry seeds. Was sitting pretty close to others as well, that was a little uncomfortable, but the door being opened helped.

Nice coffee shop & breakfast/brunch spot. Always seems pretty quiet when I visit/pass by but the coffee is good and the bagel sandwiches always look great!

Great coffee, cool staff and location, and amazing gluten-free options. I came to Portland for less than a week and ate/got coffee at Just Bob three times and I wish I could go back already. The lox bagels are the best.

My favorite coffee shop on Alberta. I typically get the spicy chai latte with oat milk and its perfect every time. I also get their veggie bagel frequently which is made just right. The owners are super nice and the unicorn asthetic of the shop is fun. :D

Good service and nice comfy chairs. I like that in addition to there own food, they have a little selection of pastries from the local bakeries you can choose from. Oh and they also have more bathrooms in this tiny little coffee shop then they do at the local safeway which is always a bonus.

Ordered a breakfast Bagel which was great. Staff was friendly and coffee was excellent.

Just Bob has a pretty cool atmosphere and the staff were pretty great. The food was decent, but the portions were very small for the price. I got one of the basic 2 egg scrambles, and although it was pretty fresh and tastey there wasnt much to it. We also got some of their empanada style baked goods and they had very little filling. It was a shame because the basil strawberry filling was really tastey.Edit: based on the response and my experience at the restaurant I totally believe adding an extra egg wouldnt be an issue for them, updated review from 4 to 5 starts.

Just Bob has the best breakfast bagels in Portland. My favorite is the lox on everything. Great coffee and tons of other options too. They’re great at accommodating dietary restrictions like gluten-free/gluten intolerance, and dairy-free/lactose intolerance. Now I want one just thinking about it.

The vibes here are very Portland! Mismatched furniture, music is at a low volume and $2 coffees and other options for food. Cute decor and views of NE Alberta! Open windows and free WiFi. Only one bathroom. The counter people were very, very friendly!

Fun environment, kid friendly, and yummy coffee! It even has a baby changing station in the bathroom! And you can write on the walls with chalk. I wish I lived here so I could come back weekly! The prices are great as well

Best iced coffee I’ve had in town, it’s light and flavorful (my tum is sensitive). Excellent waffles, really good with peanut butter and banana. Unique and tasty banana mocha (according to my partner). This is what you’d expect from a stereotypical Portland coffee shop, cozy and eclectic with lots of unicorn related paraphernalia.

Just Bobs has really cool staff, a great decor and a wooden kids play area. They do live music and just have cool ambience. Brewed beverages are well made and tasty. The food is good value for the price but are not blow your socks off (waffles are cheap quality, the eggs are sometimes overcooked, etc..).The washroom is smelly but has a pull up bar for disabilities.

It used to be more Bohemian with music in the evenings but now its the closest to Bohemian you can get nearby with some very kind staff. Black Sheep Bakery is an old Portland standard that never disappoints. The fact of their coffee being alright and their service great as well as diverse comfortable seating and print media is a plus. I do miss evenings at the former venue which is what brings the rating down from 5.

This is my favorite coffee shop in all of Portland. I started going when I worked nearby just to relax on lunch breaks. The atmosphere of the shop is the huge reason I keep coming back, it just feels warm and welcoming.The baristas have always been friendly but not in a way that feels fake. Everybody, owner included, has been incredibly kind to the patrons. I have met a wide variety of interesting and friendly other Portlanders here, its one of the few coffee shops where people have felt comfortable striking up casual conversation. There is fun art always on display, and of course unicorns painted into scene portraits line the walls.Im also a huge fan of the puff pastry foods (BBP in particular), and for a time they became the go-to I had a bad day I just need to eat something that makes me feel happy food.Really, I could not recommend them enough. Its just a good place full of good people.

Its so good you wont even remember what other coffees taste like...becuse you wont be thinking about other coffees...because youll only be thinking about that warm cup of Joe thats in your hands, touching your lips and trickling down your gullet so smooth. Warm, cold, whatever you like. They do it all and more. Trust me, I know a good bean when I see one.

Unassuming, home made light fare, good coffee, awesome unicorns-everywhere decor! Nice welcoming vibe, clever and sassy signs encouraging us to be nicer/better people... And you can get coffee refills for cheap while you hang out. New Alberta favorite.

I am not much of a coffee drinker--i came here for the work space. Very comfortable environment. The staff was friendly and I talked with one of them for a bit. It seemed like they knew the names of everyone who came in, giving it a truly local feeling. I felt a little like an outsider, but still was welcomed. Wish it were closer to me. Good wifi and, again I know little about coffee, good coffee.

This place was pretty ideal for chilling out for the day. Tasty chai lates, nice and casual, cozy, and really nice light from the colorful glass wall facing street. The collection of jazz and classic rock on PA was quite pleasing and at a perfect background level to not interfere with headphones or conversation but loud enough to clearly enjoy.

We had been craving a bagel for days. This was such a wonderfully casual place to get a bagel and an AMAZING cup of coffee. One of my favorite places weve visited in Portland.

Laid back place on the corner with just enough outdoor seating. Inside choose between chairs and tables and sofas and tables. Good coffee, laid back staff (busy though), nice decor. Watch the screen door, it can close fast (dogs beware of this!)

I’m not a huge coffee drinker. I really enjoyed their Italian drip. The menu looks good. I got the Just B scramble. Spinach was fresh. I prefer my eggs on the heavier/denser side. I’d like 3 instead of 2 to balance protein with the heavier bagel carb. But, hey, the price is right. Come for the vibe and great service. Bob, the owner, is quick at the barista bar and taking orders. His welcome smile is big in my book.From my vantage point at the counter, it was fun to observe the co-owner watching over the new employee. I’m not sure he’ll make it, but hey, you gotta love his personality!I’ll be back and bring my daughter and partner. 😄

This place is an average local coffee shop with local art and baked good. There was a line at the door and I ordered food that needed to made, which wasnt impressive, but tried to be artisan with the balsamic glaze. Their baked goods looked really yummy though! The line was out the door but I have a feeling that was cause they had one guy ringing and making the coffee fully then moving on to the next guest. Probably should have had one to ring, one to make coffee and one to make food.

Ive only ever ordered espresso martinis but my partner gets cold brew here every morning and were both glad its a block away from our house. The guys who work there are really nice and competent.
