Damon Wright at the LandRover, Portland was so pleasant to work with. We recently purchased an Evoque from here and we were so happy with the experience.It started with a nice tour of the showroom and asking us what our car of interest was. After we described it, Damon showed us the cars in their inventory. Once we selected the car, we wanted a few changes made to it with regards to the lettering, roof color and tire rims. He made sure they were all done with in a couple of weeks and delivered the car in time for my birthday. I loved the whole experience and would highly recommend his services if you are interested in buying or leasing a car from them.
Sal is the man! Called wanting to buy a Defender and Sal set up and appointment and a test drive all ahead of time. Everything was smooth and taken care of upon arrival. Ended up changing my mind and went for a new Range Rover that was en-route instead. Sal managed the whole sales process so incredibly seamless, adapting to my travel schedule, preparing everything remotely, and keeping me updated along the way. Other dealerships and sales consultants seem stuck in the stone ages compared to this experience.

Attempted to get some support, but apparently they have zero concern unless your in the lobby and they can upsell you.. kinda sad for LR and Jag standards. Will not use them in the future. Worth the drive to get decent service elsewhere.

Purchased a Range Rover Sport. The best possible experience in my entire car purchase life. Worked with on person (Sal) through the whole process. No pressure, clear presentation, professional, likeable respectful guy. I first came in for a test drive of two cars. After two weeks testing other makes, I felt this brand offered a better value for the money. Brought my wife into make the final decision and she agreed a great experience and loved the car. I want to add (Sal) took an hour to clearly explain all the car functions before driving off.

First visit here for an oil change. The employee that walked inside with me when I first got there was helpful and nice.Had a bunch of small issues with my service that ended up escalating me. Emailed my service person. Response and resolution was swift and satisfactory. Would rather have had that premium experience up front, but am thankful in the end it got resolved.

Only because I respect such a Brand as Range Rover to improve the Business and improve the model like the Range Rover Brand.I will put a fivestar because a Brand like the Range Rover it really carries with it all the good qualities in this Brand......As for the dealer, it is always very difficult to make an assessment because it personally will always find what you like and what you don’t like???One can only say one thing the sellers are trying to have an approach for each client personally, even though it is very hard, but they sell a good inventory.....

This one star is for the service department. I had to call three times. Left two voicemails. One online submission. Then I eventually got a call back 24 hours later and they told me they are not offering inspections on range rovers anymore??? Are you kidding me? The only range rover dealer in Portland is not offering inspections? How is this even possible. Its mind blowing.

Made an appt weeks before & was told they have no loaner cars for patrons. I live an hour & 1/2 away...Got up there the day of my appt & watch other people leave in loaner cars...I ask and am told they need to be booked weeks before? 😡I’m told my service will be 3-4 hours long. I return at exactly 4 hours & am told they need to test drive & wash. I say ok...an hour goes by & I ask how close & I’m told the tech is still working installing filters so it wasn’t even close when I returned at 4 hours. 6 hours long is how long my service ended up taking which is quite a difference from 3-4I’m ok waiting as long as I know the time frame & people are being honest...
Service department is terrible for this level of luxury car. I was told my appointment was a “drop off date, not a service date” and that it would be at least 4 days until a tech could begin to look at the problematic infotainment system. After I had a minor “freak out” and an email to the head of service, the car was magically serviced and ready to go the next day. I get that things may be different due to COVID. A simple call to reschedule would have been the proper thing to do if they are that behind. My service manager and all off the employees are kind and listen - but the overall way this is set up is beyond ridiculous. They are the only game in town for warranty work. I love the car but have told others to consider this aspect of ownership before you consider a Land Rover.

I went into Range Rover of Portland with the plan to order a custom vehicle rather than purchasing something on site. Dropped off vehicle for warranty work. Tried to politely wait while concierge helped another customer. Other person at concierge walked away. Waited for 5 to 10 minutes as multiple employees walked past me and service advisors stood on their offices (vehicle was pulled right in front of their offices by the way). Finally had to ask for help with a bit of an attitude. No wonder all the Jaguar Land Rover dealerships close in the area if this is how they treat potential customers.
My wife and I bought our first Land Rover here this weekend and this is by far the best dealership experience you could ask for. The facility is flawless and the people are great. Julian was extremely knowledgeable on his product, patient with us and applied no pressure. The paperwork was quick and easy. The sales manager Jim is great and you can tell the consultants enjoy working there.
Im giving them 5 stars mainly based on past performance when they were downtown. The service department in the new georgous location needs to pick it up. I stood around for 10-15 minutes recently to drop off my car for annual service and also when I returned to pick it up. Did not greet me, no one said they would be with me in a minute. I had to ask for assistance both times. Awful!

Both my wife and I have had Land Rover vehicles for the last four years. Wish we had done it sooner. The service is first class. I had to turn in my current lease and get a new vehicle. I picked one out the night before and had an appointment for 10am. Sal had the new vehicle ready to go and paperwork filled out. All I had to do the night before was fill out an online credit app. Sal walked me through the new vehicle quickly knowing I wanted to get back to work but cut no corners doing it. He did an amazing job and got me in and out in 90 minutes both ending my current lease and starting the new one. Getting a new car used to take half a day at other dealers. The new facility is gorgeous and the experience is impeccable. Highly recommend Sal and Land Rover Portland.

So far bought parts only, service seems nice, obvious its expensive but you also have to think, a Land Rover is not your tipical vehicle.Would be nice to see the salesman actually say hi though, a few times we have been in, and the guys there did not say anything to us. And when I go to Lexus, someone meets me at the door every time. Which is nice, because I hate wasting time.
The service department always runs at least 1 week behind, be prepared to leave your car for a week or so. Employees are super helpful and always willing to go that extra mile.

I am going to say.. just okay! I LOVE my Range Rover... absolutely in love with it, but....If there was another dealership in Portland, I would never go back. I was told I needed a new motor... I have 100,000 miles on my Sport RR. I had a LOT of questions and 10 days later they call and say my rig is washed and ready!?!? So, I called and had a LOT more questions. I picked up my RR...and hope I get 200,000 more miles. I love the rig.❤

I almost bought a different brand and style until I discovered the Velar. I played around online and built my dream car. I figured I would send it over to LRP and see what their inventory had to offer. I had the pleasure of Damon Wright contacting me and scheduling an appointment. When the dealership didn’t have the specific features on their Velar stock, he went to great efforts to find it and have it shipped from Pasadena. Word to the wise, if you don’t purchase your LandRover from PDX LandRover, You will not receive adequate service, starting with communication, a loaner, or consistent attention to detail. Every time I drop off my 2 Landrovers, I know I will be required to follow up, to ask all questions regarding the service and to look at the detailed breakdown because they won’t. I also know I will be charged the highest prices in servicing any vehicle on the market. I would never buy a vehicle from PDX Landrover/Jaguar. Ever. They tell you what you want to hear and then fail to follow through. I had to wait 3 mo to get my vehicle in for service after throwing a code (which I gave them the #) and my vehicle sat in the shop idle for a day and half. When I called them on it, they just gave me excuses of why they are way behind in work. I just wished there was another Landrover dealership closer than Seattle, which is where I purchased both my vehicles. They could learn a lot from the Seattle/Bellevue Landrover dealership.
They are the only Land Rover dealer in Oregon and know it. It starts with their Hassle Free Best Price which I came to realize a few days later was the same as the MSRP. The best price is just a sales tactic to get you to register your contact info and is the best price for them. Next they skipped over the part of learning what I was looking for in a car and went straight to how was I going to finance the car, which is the same as how are they going to get paid? They use other strong sales tactics like demanding $2000 non-refundable deposit before they would prep the car, even though I had travelled up from Medford and had no ride home other than to buy their Range Rover. Oh and delivery was 3 hours of sitting in their showroom while they went back and forth on paperwork. The paperwork should have been completed before I arrived since I had filled out the paperwork online over 5 hours ahead of time. And be sure to read the contracts! In mine, they had shortened the warranty by almost 2 months, claiming they had to date the contract to when they acquired the car from another dealer. In essence they were trying to sell me a demo when I was paying full MSRP for a new car. After another hour at the dealership and a few days later, they ended up mailing the paperwork for full warranty. And to finish it all off, the sales person knew very little about the car, did little to help me learn new features and didnt bother to include all the items that go with the car. After getting home the next day, I had to figure out what was missing and call to have them mailed to me. I dont like giving out 1 star reviews, however the price, efficiency and experience of this dealer is no more than 1 star. Before positing this review, I offered twice by email and once by voicemail to share my learnings to improve the experience for other customers. Of course they did not call back. Owning a new Range Rover is an awesome experience, its too bad that buying one in Oregon is not.**Since posting this review, I received an email from the General Manager with an apology, while copying in everyone who had a part in my experience. He also followed up with a phone call. From our conversation, I believe that my experience is an exception and likely not typical, which is confirmed by the many more positive reviews on this site. I am still leaving my review because it was my experience but I am now more open minded about giving the dealership another chance to earn my business if I have any service needs. (FYI I was not asked to change my review nor have I received anything from the dealership beyond their sincere apology).
This NE Portland location is closed. Google states this address with open business hours. When I drove there yesterday, this location is confirmed closed. No vehicles on the lot. No business on site at all. Wonder why Google still has this address as “opened for business.”

Absolutely terrible service! i went there to drop-off my range rover for service at 8am. i asked the status at 2pm. it wasn’t even in the queue for service! no one even called to let me know. there were other issues as well, but it’s not worth it. just know the service department is incompetent and customer service is terrible.
Just picked up a brand new Discovery and am head over heels for this vehicle! To top it off, Damon made the transaction easy and painless. Not a fan of this dealership and their service policies. Only option for warranty work in Oregon. They don’t offer you a loaner unless you bought there. 1 month out for a check engine light. Not pleased to not have another option other than Seattle.

They sold my husband and I a dangerous lemon (new Land Rover “likely to cause injury or death”) that continued to have issues putting us in harm’s way on a regular basis, and refused to help us. We have over 25 documented (dangerous) instances with more than nine witnesses.The car would: automatically slam on its own brakes (even at freeway speeds), turn itself in reverse while in drive, the gas pedal would intermittently not work, and the car would aggressively jolt forward (on its own) on a regular basis. After 1+ year of avoiding accidents, pissing other drivers off, embarrassing ourselves, our local tour company, and having the car in and out of the service department with no resolution… we begged for a different car.The dealership tried to charge us $10k to get out of the lemon they sold us, and get us into a safer alternative. When we refused that option, they told us to officially lemon the car with Land Rover North America. Once Land Rover North America got involved, the dealership denied ever being able to replicate any of the problems – making us out to be crazy.While Land Rover is looking over our case, the dealership threatens to call the police to get their loaner back while our car is in the shop, and tells us they will be sending us a storage bill for our broken vehicle.I’m not sure if these people have an issue with same sex couples, or if they just really are this horrible to everyone out there? Either way, I’d highly recommend buying your vehicle from anyone else on the planet. We’ve never experienced such poor customer service, nor been treated so terribly. Land Rover has lost us as a customer for life.
Land Rover Portland offers great service. I was very happy with our sales associate, Alex, he answered all my questions and has continued to after our purchase. He has been so helpful and made the car purchasing process very easy and stress-free. He explained all the features to us and walked us through everything from car features, financing, and tips/tricks. He was very thorough in his explanations. Went here several years ago to inquire about leasing a 2017 Land Rover Discovery, and was pleasantly impressed. They didnt judge as to what I was wearing, and were straight to the point. They gave a rough estimate as to what I would owe, and gave me a book about the add-ons for the Discovery as I was heading out.

I had the best, most painless experience getting a car from this dealership. I worked with Sal who didn’t push me into anything and when I was ready to make a decision had the paperwork ready to go in ten minutes. I didn’t have to sit through listening to add-ons I would need to pay for and it was truly no BS or reading between the lines of contracts. I highly recommend this dealership and Sal if you want fast responses and a great experience.
This place is different. It’s better. Just rolled my previous lease into the new 2020 Evoque. The new facility is beautiful, much more convenient and thoughtfully designed to give you the customer experience you would expect with this brand. The sales guide Alex Lamberty, was fantastic! He worked quickly and efficiently, answering all my questions with out any of the stereotypical nonsense the car industry is known for. He was a true professional and actually made the car shopping process enjoyable. I look forward to working with Land Rover Portland for many more years.

I like Brandon, the service manager I was assigned to upon my first visit. He communicates to me the way I like through texts and is more of a guide through the service process. They way they do business makes me feel like I have a membership vs being another customer at a dealership service center. Im sure a lot of people feel this way and if they dont, they have never owned a domestic car that needed a service in Portland.

I had recently visited the dealership, my 2016 lease was expiring, & was ready to place an order for my 2019. I had been in contact with Daniel prior to, weighing my options, & he had indicated that there was a slightly higher model currently in stock & that I should have a look at it. If it didn’t suit me, that he would gladly assist me in placing an order, so I could get what i wanted. Having said this, Daniel also sold me the 2016 & was very accommodating where I felt less pressure & more catering. So everything thus far did not surprise me, accommodation with no pressure. When I came in, the car was in the showroom, he explained the differences from the one I had & wanted to order, gave me the best numbers. I’m glad he did, as the numbers were not that much more than my budget, & I was getting a higher model etc.. Needless to say I, driving the car now...I just wanted his management, & anyone that might be interested in a RR in the near future, to strongly consider working with Daniel. I’m sure glad he pointed the numbers out to me, & ultimately made me feel comfortable in making my own educated decision.Thank you Daniel!

Recently purchased 2 new Range Rovers. Had the pleasure of working with Nate Kavan.Ive bought many cars over the years, working with some great sales people (and some not so great), however, Nate took the sales experience to another level. Im extremely impressed with his knowledge of current Land Rover technology as well as its the brand history. Its really nice to buy a car from someone who truly knows what they are talking about.I appreciated Nates communication throughout the entire process - from signing the order to taking delivery.I dont typically post reviews - however, I would be doing a disservice to Nate, the dealership and anyone whos looking for a truly fine sales person to assist in buying a Land Rover. If youre looking for a Range Rover, see salesman Ian Killough. Very helpful and patient during the decision making process. Love my Range Rover Supercharged Sport with 510 hp! Rides and feels like a sexy luxury car. With the current rainy season, the Rain Sensing Windshield Wipers work like a charm. Tons of interior space too.
