Mike William are super helpful! Its a auto shop with great people working there! I brought my car there for a quick service, since someone hit the bumper in Olympic NP and ran. As a tourist, thats truly unfortunate. But Mike heard my story, accommodate me the earliest time slot to help me out as a out of state tourist, with a super reasonable price and get my car ready in 2 1/2 days while many other places may say for a week! I truly appreciate everything they did there for me! Strongly recommend for everyone who need a service! They are the good hands you can trust! Thank you!
I am not usually one to write a review, but Matt Hughes was the most awesome employee Ive dealt with at any service center/ dealership. He greeted me right away with a smile I could see under his mask, asked me what work I was there to get done, then got me into the system all within a few minutes. I brought my fiancés 2021 Crosstrek in for a recall notice (something minor with the computer chip) and an oil change, he informed me exactly what the recall was all about, and let me know the exact total for the work to be done (almost all of it covered under warranty).I told him I was taking a trip for my anniversary in 2 days so he immediately got me set up with a courtesy car and I didnt even have time to pull out my laptop before being called up to get the keys. He made sure I had everything I needed from my car and I told him I would pull the courtesy car around to transfer a few bigger items. After I decided I wouldnt need said items, and without telling Matt I didnt need them, I drove off the lot with the courtesy car. Matt then called me to make sure I didnt forget my things in my car, super thoughtful and on top of it!Highly recommend dealing with Matt Hughes if you get the chance to and I will be going back to him every time!
Desario Perez is great. I had a clogged AC drain line and he described how I could fix it myself, but then suggested that I bring it in so he could fix it for free. It was great. 10 minutes in and out, no charge, and no more water draining onto my floor mat. Everything should be this easy. Thanks!
I used to love how convenient the service was and always used it because of that. Took 5minutes to drop off the car, great customer service, loved it. Now they’re cutting cost made it inconvenient with having to wait in line and taking time to communicate with technicians. After today I will no longer used Subaru serve which I’ve used got the past 5 years since I’ve had a Subaru.
Avoid this place like the plague. they quoted me $150 for a small job (new serpentine belt), they called me almost 24 hours later and not only did they NOT do the job, they tried to sell me on 2 entirely different repairs that totaled $6,000! thats 40 times the original quote!!! for an entirely different job! and they didnt even accomplish original work we agreed on. then i waited over an hour to get my vehicle back once i was there. horrible experience, aggressively pushy in the wrong direction and beyond unprofessional. avoid this place like the plague.
I failed to fix the side mirror by myself, so I drove in a little after 10am. Within a couple minutes Melissa Kumm and a tech went to work on the mirror right where I had pulled in and together they fixed it without any fuss. I could not be any happier with the people or the process!
Quick shoutout to Sean and Jared at Subaru of Portland, they are both there to make the buying process and easy as can be. They take the time needed and make sure you understand every step of the process. I’ve never had a better buying experience. Thank you both for making it so simple. I really appreciate it.
I brought my subaru in for a recall service. I was told on the phone it was a quick fix and they could get me in that week. I came in to drop my car off and was told it could be up to three days until my car was done, and that they didn’t have any loaner cars. So i was unexpectedly out of a car in the middle of the week. When I picked up my car a few days later there was multiple new scratches and scuffs on the outside, and the inner panel of my center console was taken off (that was not what they were repairing,) and was left on the floor of the car. I called to speak with someone about this, and they left me a voicemail right as they were closing so I didn’t have the opportunity to call back.
I have called the service center multiple times for the past 48 hours and they send me straight to voice-mail. They have not called me back, and there is no sense of urgency by any of their office staff.
The bad: 1/3 of the crew was not wearing masks. 1/3 of the crew was constantly pulling them down or to the side to talk to each other. I don’t know how they think masks work, but it’s not like that.I started taking pictures of the crew not wearing their masks and suddenly they all knew exactly how to wear a mask. When I got my car, they did absolutely nothing to disinfect. There was a plastic sheet over the seat, but that’s it.Beyond that, when I first pulled in, I requested that on top of the recall work they were doing, I would like them to check my wiper fluid nozzles, but please give me an estimate before doing any work. I said this three times, and it wasn’t until the last that the man mentioned there would be something like a $140 fee just to check. I understand some shops do this, but I’ve never been somewhere that was so secretive about it. I told him no thank you.The next day, they called me in the morning to tell me my brakes were “in the red” and almost shot, and I also had three bulbs out. I said no thank you. I told him I would like him to ensure that all of those concerns are inventoried for me when I pick up my car. My reasoning was that I just had the car inspected by another shop who told me the brakes were great.I go to pick up my car later that day and, like magic, there are only two bulbs out and the brakes are not in the red! In fact they have half their life left. These people are incompetent at best, and predatory liars at worst. The good: they got my car done in one day (although I had made an appointment and they said it would be 1-2 days, then when I came in they said it wouldn’t be done for 4-5 days). The lady who put me in a loaner was very nice, helpful, and followed basic guidelines of COVID safety.SUMMARY: There are way better places to go.
I brought my Subaru WRX in for a standard lube oil filter. They mentioned I needed a 90,000 mile service -- and I said no problem, lets do it. They then rung me up for 60,000 mile service (more expensive) and fixed it after the fact. They said it would take a day to do the work. They then said they needed another day, so Friday Id get it back. I was not called or notified on Friday of anything, then when I called Saturday both the Rep and Mechanic were on vacation. What? OK -- fine -- then day 3-4 I got a Loaner from them. Cool. Then 3-4 more days pass until I get my car back. I got the car back they said they did everything, and I took their word on it. They said tires were good and all work went fine. Then I realized my A/C was not working. I called them to talk about it, this was shortly after getting it back, no one was available, they didnt return my calls at all. I decided screw this and went somewhere else. I went to Heckmann & Thiemann Motors -- they are great -- and they did a review of the state of the car and found out that the A/C belt is broken. When the belt broke it also damaged the serpentine belt for the alternator. Brake fluid, clutch fluid, engine coolant, drive belts, air filter, all needed attention. Tires were had 4/32 tread remaining. So not only did the service take forever -- the work didnt get done -- communication was bad -- results were bad. A larger corporation should do better and be held to a higher standard. This is THEIR brand -- why tarnish it like this?
Nice people. Very respectful. They answer all your questions.
I want to thank Chuck Hanscom for his hero service today. I did that obnoxious thing where I dropped in without an appointment right around lunchtime to get a headlight replaced and then expected they’d be able to get it done immediately. Chuck patiently listened to me explain why I needed to be out of there in an hour, put a rush on it and managed to get my headlight replaced, a quick inspection done and the air filter replaced in under 30 minutes. On top of it all he’s just a fun person to talk to so thanks again Chuck!
I’ve always had great customer service from the service managers here. And Irina was no exception today when I picked up my car for a minor repair. I want to rave about Joe ( ?) in the parts department. I had a button missing off my key fob and he went above and beyond to find me a random part and put my key fob back together. It wasn’t a service he probably even could’ve charged for but he took the time and it made my day. Thank you!
This isn’t an issue with a service but rather the management. Some of their services are walk-in only (e.g., you can’t schedule an appointment), and they refuse to provide you with any sort of time estimate of how long it will take. With all of that, there is no way for a working individual to figure out when or how to bring their vehicle in: how long will I be there? (“We don’t know, it is first come first served.”) Will I have a loaner? (“We don’t know, those are first come first served.”) So I can’t bring my car in unless I clear my schedule and take the day off of work because I don’t know how long it will take and whether I’ll have a car to borrow in the mean time. On top of this, the volume of customers they have at any given time is far beyond their capacity (because they allow non-appointment service), and thus people typically have to wait several days for super basic service. This is absurd. I will no longer be taking my car here.
Thank you Melissa in the service department for going the extra mile. Subaru is my ride of choice and I’m happy to have my car serviced here. I appreciate my concerns being heard.
Liked the no reservation or appointment needed for an oil change. Nice waiting area even though I didn’t use it as I spent the time walking around the neighborhood and up to Lloyd Center for lunch while waiting for the oil change. Price for the oil change seemed a little high but worth it for the convenience of the place in the middle of everything.
Subaru of Portland was honest an upfront and prompt to my needs thanks guys you earned 5 stars!!
Kim Savage helped me and what an absolute shining ray of sunshine she is. In a year that is probably the most chaotic and wild for most people Kim made everything incredibly easy and stress free. Its people like her that make Subaru great and keep me coming back. In general, every time I got to Subaru service I have an extremely pleasant experience. Everyone is so nice and just very human with you. They all get it and treat their customers right. I highly recommend!
Subaru of Portland is amazing. They are alway fast, do perfect work, and are incredibly honest.
Since I joined the Subaru family in 2017, I’ve only taken my Outback to be serviced (oil changes and factory recommended service) here. The service has always been fine. No complaints but no reason for a review. With the exception of my oil change on Friday. I worked with Chuck and he was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, informative, helpful, wore a mask and made me feel like a valued customer. He took the time to talk through my concerns and he followed up with me when my car was done being serviced. Chuck brought a level of customer service that I wasn’t expecting so these five stars are for him and for his team.
Super nice. Make every effort to help. Communications a little slow.
My car wouldnt turn on or do anything and Melissa Kumm was so helpful. She walked me through what to do based on a photo she had me send and now my car is up and running perfectly. Thank you Melissa!
Chuck is such a seasoned skillful personable service employee at Subaru. He was easily communicative and also reassuring of my concerns about my battery and he took it to heart to give me his word that my car would get the care that it needed. I will look to Chuck to help me in the future. Subaru is wise to hire Chuck to represent the company. I was so happy to drive away from the service department with a smile on my face. Thank you Chuck!
Everyone was pleasant and the experience of dropping my car off and picking up a loaner car was quick and easy. The two star rating is because the little magnetic cell phone mount that was clipped to a vent on my dash disappeared while my car was in for service. It’s a thirty dollar item easily bought off Amazon. I know this because I’ve now had to buy it twice. I reported it to my service advisor and was told someone would follow up. No one followed up. Having my car pilfered is irritating. It was a disappointing end to what had been a good first service at this dealership. I’ll go to one of the several other Subaru dealerships next time.
I worked with Spencer Stambaugh and he was absolutely great. I came in for an oil change and for them to inspect why I was getting water in the passenger floor boards. I told Spencer what I had done for the water leak and he told me I was on the right path. He had the shop blow out my AC drain tube and gave me a few suggestions. He told me they would be happy to help (with a good price quote) if I could not resolve the problem myself. I wish all customer service was as good as I got from Spencer.
The customer service has been confusing at best. Prior visits had a much longer wait time than expected. Once someone greeted me at my car and then walked away when I said I had an appointment. Another service person explained to me on the phone that I could make an appointment, but it wouldnt mean my car would get done more quickly than if I drove in without one... then to add to the confusion reccomended I visit another location for faster service.I wont go here again. I highly reccomend Greasham Subaru Service. My appointment was easy to make, they accommodated a rescheduling, were very friendly, and finished with the service in the time they estimated.
I was very happy with my experience here. I just bought a used Forester still under warranty. It needed some work. I expected to be given a hard time and to not have stuff covered. But I was pleasantly surprised that all the pricey stuff ended up covered. Deseo was very professional and kind and engaged.Overall, I got frequent updates by text and was so impressed that they had an available rental car for me free of charge. Ive never had such a positive experience at a mechanic. I am glad to be a new customer.
People at the service center are consistently thorough, helpful, and friendly. I really appreciate being able to bring my dog into the waiting area. Barb is wonderful! She also helped me a couple months ago to re install the back seat covers. The covers are the Subaru Forester specific, and they are perfect, but somewhat difficult to install when one’s hands are somewhat arthritic. Barb is so pleasant, and was happy to assist me.
Overall I had a great experience with the service to repair my 2008 outback. The courtesy loaner vehicle service was also great and hassle free.Since my wife had to drop off the car, I asked her to have the technician to give me a call. He listened my explanations and observations very attentively and explained the list of things he would check out and why. During the next few days, he gave me few calls back and provided the updates on the findings (which turned out to be the gasket related) and the list of items to be replaced. His communication and detailed updates were very informative and helpful to make the best decision to fix the issue and also extend the life of my car. When I drove my car back home after the repair, I popped the engine hood open to see what work was done and momentarily thought that he accidently put a brand new engine because all parts under the hood were cleaned up so well... The car has been running well without any issue since the repair. I would like to stop by the service center in the near future and give the technician a small token of my appreciation for his great work!
Good experience overall. Visiting PDX from Indiana. Had driven 3,000+ miles in past week so thought it would be a good idea to get oil change even though not actually due. Glad I was first to arrive as shop got busy quickly. Used discount coupon from dealer website. Assumed courtesy car wash would be included but advisor said not so. He did call detail shop to see if they could wash car but said nobody was there. I had just walked by car wash about 10 minutes earlier and knew it was operational. After paying I stopped by car wash and spoke with Marshall. Asked if I could get a quick wash and he very kindly obliged. Did prewash by hand and then ran through autowash. Marshall made what would have been an average experience a very good one!
Been going to Subaru of Portland Service since I bought my first Subaru 2 years ago. Always a good experience. I enjoy working with Spencer who has helped me so much and he is the only person I trust to make sure my STI is taken care of and running properly. Hope to continue working with him in the future. Allison and Barb were also great to work with too.
Our 2010 Forester is very near and dear to the lady of the house, so nothing but the very best service will do for her car. No deferred maintenance, no half-measures. We prefer an expertly managed service visit, and work performed by technicians with the proper manufacturer-backed training, using OEM parts to keep our beloved Subaru running flawlessly between service visits. We have found such conscientious, professional service at Subaru of Portland.
I had a great experience here. Spencer serviced my car, he was really helpful with what actually needed to be done, which is refreshing. He got my car in and out fast too. I will definitely be coming back for all future services.
I had a nail in my tire and they fixed it quickly and inexpensively. They did a quick multi point inspection as is typical and all looked well. I love it when places dont try to add on other unnecessary expenses.
I brought my car in for a check engine light. Subaru of Portland got right on it. Michael Murphy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He got me into a loaner car and called me 2 hours later with the good news that they were done and that my warranty would cover it. Thanks Subaru of Portland, I will continue to have my car serviced there.
I had such a good experience getting my older Subaru serviced here. I cannot thank Spencer enough for all of his help! Spencer went above and beyond, even getting in there and helping the technician himself. I am very pleased with the customer service here, and I will now be coming to Spencer for all of my Subaru repairs!
They were incredibly professional and courteous. I was given a thorough explanation of all services that would be carried out on our car. A 60K service. If anything else came up, they contacted me and asked for my approval to fix and provided options if the items werent absolutely needed at the time . Finally, we got a complementary loaner car to keep overnight. Very happy with the our experience!
I love this place! They explain the service, the plan, and the cost. This is third time for routine maintenance and although my car is no longer under warranty, I will continue to come here. I trust these people for competent, timely, and cost-effective service.
Vaughn was my service advisor. He was terrific. I will go directly to him for all future visits. The whole service experience was great. I’ve had nothing but positive experience with the service department at this dealership.
We took our 2020 Ascent for our first service. It was a plesent surprise that the service would be free. They were busy when we arrived but we were met at our car quickly. We had our dog with us who became the highlight of the entire staff. This may have contributed to our good service, but who can blame them. Our vehicle was completed quickly and pickup was quick and easy. Well be back.
I had some concerned about some of the men not wearing masks during this pandemic while fixing cars… Expressed my concerns to a manager and they were very professional and courteous about my concern and let me know that they would address it. I really appreciate that!
The service was quick and the representative informed me of free services that o qualified for… that my Subaru sales person originally did not.
I dealt with Charlie and he was great! He even made sure I got the discount on their website even though I forgot to mention it.I’m very grateful that they’re doing their part to social distance and wear face coverings. It’s hard to imagine I’d ever drive anything other than a Subaru.
I had a laundry list of things that needed attention. They were not able to fix Everything in one visit. However, I drive 70 miles to use Subaru of Portland for ALL of my Legacy needs! They do a good job, they explain what is needed and do not try to have you fix things that are not broken. M.Murphy, Spenser, and Chuck were very pleasant and very helpful ! Also the ladies in the office !! All around a good experience! I have a Subaru shop 20 miles from my home in Hood River . But I prefer Subaru of Portland! Hands down !
Spencer was great! Our car window was smashed and he was able to repair it and get us back on the road in the same day. He was very professional, helpful and friendly. Great customer service! We would definitely use this Subaru dealership again when we are in Portland!
My service manager, Kim Savage, was kind, patient, and quick to react to my needs and the fixes my car needed. Shes very detailed in making sure my car was looked over fully and that the service was done as quickly as possible within reason. Because my car was still on extended warranty and needed a bigger fix she set me up in a lender car so I could continue with my daily activities until I got my car back. (Now that Ive driven the new Subaru lender car for awhile I want THAT one!)When Kim called me back to say what the car needed she efficiently went over what it needed. She quickly told me what was covered by the extended warranty so I didnt have to live in panic about finances. She also told me what portion I needed to cover outside of warranty, which was small (oil change, battery Corrosion clean up )I have never felt so taken care of and listened to at a car dealership/service department. Even though Terrick was the person I had always seen prior too and has now been promoted was great too. Kim has one more notch on the rung of customer service. Incredible detail. Also, great communication during the process.Thank you Subaru for bringing Kim to your service department. She is a very solid reason to why I will continue to come back time and time again.
Vaughn was knowledgeable and very helpful! Subaru provided a loaner car and the technicians found the problem and got it fixed in less than a day. Easy and efficient, always appreciated.
Vaughn took really good care of me and my Outback! I was told how the process would go, was kept informed on what needed to be done/how much it would cost the entire time. I received a loaner vehicle while my car was in the shop which was wonderful. All of my concerns/needs were addressed and the cost was minimal. Im very appreciative of the entire team and look forward to bringing my car back to them whenever I might need my next service!
What a bloody frustrating experience simply trying to get a hold of anyone in the service department to even make an appointment. I spent all day trying; was coming into Portland and was just going to drop off my car for service while I visit family; got transferred a million times and still never got a hold of anyone and now now theyre closed. Unprofessional.
Great service, honest prices.. only issue technician overinflated the tires after completed service which intially made me think there was something wrong. Otherwise 5 ⭐ experience.
I bought my car here years ago. I have always gone back for servicing needs because they are affordable and always extremely friendly. They are great at keeping me updated on status of my car. They always try there best to make sure I am able to get to where I need to incase I need to leave my car over night.
Spencer was extremely helpful. Went in for an oil change and walked away with a lot of information about tires, how to drive in snowy or steep terrain, and more. Super knowledgeable guy. Would recommend him!
Subaru of Portland went above and beyond for my recent oil change! They realized there was a radio recall that they could do while they had the car, and that was going to take longer than I could wait before going to work, and they offered me a loaner for the day so that I could get everything done without a separate appointment. Next time I will schedule my day differently, but I really appreciated them going the extra mile for me!
Spencer and his team in the auto body shop did a really great job on my salvaged title Forester for a good price. They know what theyre doing. Complimentary detail was a nice touch. Definitely recommend!
Subaru of Portland continues to be there for me and take care of any car issues after my car purchase. They feel like a family who looks out for their customers and wants the best for them. They are honest and keep their word. I purchased a 2010 Subaru Outback 3.6R that was having coolant issues I began to notice after my purchase. The coolant would disappear by next day. That said, I had no warranty and they worked with me until they solved the issue at no cost to me while giving me a 2019 Subaru vehicle with unlimited miles every time while they troubleshooted. In the end, the mechanic finally discovered that the O rings were damaged causing the coolant to leak into the oil pan and the vehicle needed a new short block. So, essentially, I got a new engine pretty much besides the pistons and valves. Granted, I did have to stay on top of it and go to upper management to explain the issue but they were happy to help and do whatever it took to fix the vehicle, or offer me another similar one at no cost since it was so short after my purchase and the issue was a hard one to diagnose without taking the whole engine apart. This company is honest and cares about their customers without a doubt. I definitely recommend Subaru of Portland and cant wait to see what new vehicles and changes Subaru makes to their future vehicles.
What a great service department. The handled a mix up from sales with great care and ease. Ask for Deseo, he was great!
Spencer took care of me and my Subaru from start to finish! I have never met a more professional, genuine, and attentive worker at Subaru than him. He went above and beyond my expectations for a routine maintenance repair with my forester. I’m very thankful for his hard work ethic. I will definitely be back! Thanks Spencer!
The new facility works well for car drop-off and the service was quick and easy. The staff that helped me even answered texts on his day off (that I would not have sent had I known). It ended up working great because I had need of a new AWD tire the day before a brutal ice storm.
I would give 10 stars if it was an option. These guys did a tremendous job keeping me informed throughout the process. They also took extra care with the detailing to make sure my 2013 Crosstrek looked like new again. Thank you!!
The staff there was so supportive and efficient. They got everything done within 5 hours which was much appreciated with all of the stuff they did. I have to give a shout-out to Blake who did a great job communicating with me and helping guide me with everything as a nervous 21 year old taking her car in. Only thing that was a bit frustrating is the woman helping me at the desk to loan a car seemed a little bit more intense with me compared to the other Subaru owners in line when going over the rules and probably because I’m 21 (I understand but also I was going to teach Kindergarteners so I think I am somewhat responsible) but the rest of the staff was awesome so this didn’t ruin it too much for me! The actual rental car was great and clean which was nice given the fact that we are in the middle of a pandemic!
Vaughn is the man, super chill and easygoing guy. Garrett also helped me out with my car on the fly a couple of weeks ago when I had a problem with my window and he was awesome. Significantly better than CARR Subaru
I had a leak on the passenger side floor. The air conditioning pipe running across the passenger side was plugged. Vaughn Craft was my service advisor. He was great. Very friendly and helpful.
I thought I was bringing my car in for routine oil change and maintenance. However, the car was quickly looked at and an oil leak was found. A loaner car was given to me without any hassle. Vaughn kept me informed every step of the way. He even gave me his cell phone number so I could ask questions or for updates.
Vaughn was top notch. He was friendly, organized & knowledgeable. Didn’t treat me like a number, made me feel like my car, my concerns were important. A true customer service gem. Most times you want to tell your family and friends when you have a bad experience, in this case I want to spread the word that these guys at Subaru of Portand know how to take care of you. Thank you for being kind human beings and going above and beyond for your customers.
This place has excellent service. The staff is extremely friendly, tech savvy(texting to make things easier for customers) work with you on getting loaner cars, etc. Very pleased with their service and repair of our Subaru, would definitely recommend
It was so easy to schedule and there were lots of options available to meet my schedule. The customer service was great. The information was straightforward and the estimate was fair, transparent and accurate. I highly recommend the service and will schedule my next Subaru tune up or other service needs here!
Called in to check on prices on a few items that needed to be done. I originally got a quote from Wilsonville Subaru, but wanted to double check with with Subaru of Portland since its on my way to work. They were able to save me time and money. I would highly recommend Subaru of Portland for all your service needs.
I was impressed with the Covid precautions. Everyone was wearing a mask, and there were plenty of signs about the importance of social distancing. The weather wasn’t too bad while I was there, so I walked around and didn’t spend time in the waiting area.
I visited this repair shop today and I have to say Allison Libby is awesome. She went above and beyond her call of duty. Allison Thank you for making my morning brighter. You have encouraged me. God bless you.
Subaru of Portland was awesome! Very Responsive and Thoughtful! Chuck was so kind and never talked down to me or over sold me on things either. It may be more expensive but the quality and experience make up for the cost if you are able to swing it.
Responsive, professional service.
Andrew was awesome and so easy to work with. These other items werent his fault but I wish when I set up an appointment the woman had told me a 1.5 hour wait instead of 30 minutes. Also the man who drove my car must have just put cologne on because its all I could smell in my car.
Easy to get appointment In timely manner. Work was done efficiently and a thorough explanation was given to me. I highly recommend this facility.
The service department does a great job of getting your vehicle checked in quickly and service performed promptly. They have a nice lounge space for waiting out small repairs or oil changes.
My service was amazing! And it was also done very quickly. Vaughn was so kind and helpful!!
Took my car in for a free recall adjustment they found some other issues so I got those fixed as well. I was given a loaner thinking it would be a couple days, but they finished that afternoon. Very nice people. Very efficient.
Thank you Subaru of Portland Service Department. I was heading to Mt. Hood and had a tire blowout on a brand new Subaru Outback on HWY 26 near Portland. Yes...Nails damage new cars the same as old cars. Living on the coast as I do this could have been a real problem getting home in time for work on Monday. From our first call Libby took care of us and fit us in to get the problem fixed on a busy Saturday. Thanks Libby and team for getting us all set not only to get home for work on Monday but getting to the Mountain in time to enjoy at least part of the weekend.
These folks were lovely to work with. Kim and her team were wonderful - I took my car in for a service and as it was a 120000 mile service, it was not going to be cheap. Kim helped me identify things that I could get down later in the year to offset some upfront costs, which I really appreciated. For an industry that has historically excluded women, I felt grateful for the kindness and respect i was shown at this service centre.
Overall they were very quick and helpful even when they were busy. I got a pre-purchase inspection and was pleased with the results and the pricing wasn’t too bad. The only thing was that when the vehicle was returned to me the glove box was detached so I had to go back and wait/find someone to reattach it for me.
Spencer kept us informed of the needed repairs of our Outback—which were plenty. And finding a sunroof leak wasn’t easy, but they did it all in an efficient manner. We are very pleased with the mechanic who worked on our car—and with Spencer! Keep up the great service.
Spencer is the man! He made my 30k tune-up and oil change easy, which hardly anything is these days. He was professional and courteous, plus helpful answering my questions and even providing some education about my warranty.I bought my 2018 Outback from this PDX Subaru dealer and have been taking it to this shop ever since. I’ve always had a good experience but Spencer’s service was definitely exceptional.
I had gone in for an appointment to get a new key fob which I was originally told would be only a 30 minute thing but was then given a rental since it was going to be more like 2 hours. Everything seemed fine and I didn’t get asked to come back until the next day around 5pm but was unable to come in time before close because of how far I was from the location. I come back the following morning right after open to pick up my car, and paid for my brand new key fob( sensor unlock function just doesn’t work) and when I went to go to the bank after as I had intended after the original appointment since I had my rent money stashed secretly in my car I realized that suddenly every single dollar I had was missing. I had double checked on it before entering the Subaru and after it being worked on suddenly $650 was just gone. I then automatically called 5 times trying to get ahold of someone because my money had clearly just been stolen out of my console( had things on top to hide and was bundled) and was told by management that I just shouldn’t have left any money in my car when I didn’t know going into a Subaru to get a new key fob meant that I should be concerned my car would be rifled through and my things stolen. I also was only supposed to be there for 30 minutes as was told to me when I made the appointment. Management also just said that he’s been there forever and nothing like that has happened and how i could just be lying because I have no receipt of cash when I just nanny for a family for rent. Nothing had been done to help even after contacting the customer service reps and now waiting on the authorities. Came in for a $298 repair and left -$947.
Spencer was great. Very professional an answered all the random questions I threw at him. I appreciate the good service and will be back.
Chuck, Vaughn, and DeAndre were all very professional, courteous and helpful. Cost was slightly less than the estimate, and I was happy with the work and advice they gave me. Thank you!
Very courteous and friendly. Gave me a nice car to use while they serviced my car. Probably could find the same service for less but you get what you pay for, and I feel confident that they services was performed well.
This was almost going to be a 1 star review because I was having a heck of a time tracking anyone down or getting anyone to call me back for a service appointment. Then I decided to just wander into the shop one day and so very fortunately found Kim Savage. Kim immediately connected me with all of the services I needed, got me a rental car because all of the loaner vehicles were gone and was so friendly and professional throughout the process. Communication has been excellent throughout and I am just so happy I crossed paths with Kim! Kim- you deserve a raise, I was not going to be coming back to Subaru of Portland if it werent for you. Thank you for being so wonderful!
I took my car in at 1pm and was out of there by 2. Melissa was incredibly friendly and was up front about what the cost would be.
I took my car into Subaru of Portland Service for repairs last week. The service manager who helped me, Chuck Hanscom, was great. He explained everything about the work that had to be done and set me up with a new courtesy car while my car was in the shop. Chuck kept in touch about how the work was going and the service technicians did a fantastic job. The cars never felt better and I though the price was fair. Thanks Subaru of Portland - you deserve all the accolades for customer service!
Subaru of Portland always does a great job! I’ve enjoyed dealing with from purchase through ownership.
The staff is so friendly and helpful! They made the entire process super easy, and my car was done much earlier than expected.
Great staff! Excellent service! - Plaid
Kim was wonderful. Thank you for being so helpful, prompt to reply and follow up and overall thorough. Your attention and service was exceptional. The actual hardware, which must be a defect and is honestly unacceptable (regardless of the software update) is something out of your control that still needs to be addressed and should be replaced by Subaru of America.Happy with Kim, sad with end result (so far hopefully).
Blake was incredible. Did an amazing job of getting me in and out. Top notch service. I loved it.
Excellent service and experience at Subaru of Portland on my first visit. Went in for the first service of my vehicle and was in and out in an hour. The customer waiting area is COVID19 safe and very cozy. I will return again.
This was my first experience with their service department. Staff were professional, friendly, helpful and efficient. Loved it.
I went to Subaru of Portland because I received a recall notice on my Crosstrek. I was warmly greeted by one of the service staff, I believe his name was Chuck. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and straight forward. He let me know how long the wait time was going to be (1 week) which was not at all what I was expecting as the woman I made my appointment with on the phone didn’t mention this. But, thankfully they had a courtesy car available. The whole process was pretty smooth and painless, it was also kind of nice to drive around brand new Subaru for a bit! Definitely would recommend!
The costumer service at this Subaru is AMAZING. Terik and Andrew both helped me figure out what was wrong with my car just before closing one evening, got me a rental car, and got my car fixed and back to me by 9am the next morning. Their communication is great, and getting my car fixed didn’t inconvenience me at all. Costumer service like this makes me want to be a Subaru owner for life. Thanks again!
Great service. Have always had my car serviced here, purchased here when it was Wentworth. Subaru of Portland has gone above expectations each time Ive brought my car in. Deseo Perez handled my last visit and fixed my cars problem in record time with care and the problem is totally resolved. Same experience on prior visits with other staff. Great business!
