Hands down one of the best VW&Audi shops in Portland! Reasonable prices and top tier service.I explained to Rene that I’m a student and need my car to drive to Corvallis, and he squeezed me in on a day that they were very busy. Honestly can’t say enough good things about Hillsdale imports they’re just a good honest shop that I anyone can depend on!I definitely recommend checking them out before going to the dealer, for any services or repairs.
Just awesome. Great communication and professionality. Not every shop works on VW/Audi and those that do charge a premium for the work. Not Hillside, they are fair with their pricing for labor. I will go there everytime I need major services on my VW Jetta. Thank you
Integrity, efficiency, and customer service-oriented are the few words of many I have to describe the experience I had with Hillside Imports. From getting a quote, drop-off, during service communication, and arrange for pickup, they had shown a high standard of professionalism that is rare to see these days. Thank you, Krista, Rene, and the team at Hillside Imports!
A million thank-yous!!Family-owned business is alive and well at Hillside. After being frustrated with Herzog-Meir’s poor customer service I started looking for a reputable VW repair shop. I stumbled upon Hillside and read mostly great reviews with the occasional one-off unique issue with a disgruntled customer - nothing too alarming. I had a check engine light that was coming on intermittently and called Hillside to see if they could diagnose the issue. Because a tech was on paternity leave their booking times were a few weeks out. My check engine light was off so I decided to forgo the issue until the light came back on.The next day my sunroof would not close! I immediately drove to Hillside. They took me on a walk-in basis, did an emergency close FREE OF CHARGE?! Since they don’t do sunroof repairs (I don’t blame them, it’s probably a pain!!) they referred me to Armstrong VW.After speaking to the owner about the technicians, she shared that their shortest-tenured tech has been their 4 years and the longest 20 years. This is a sign of a small business that takes care of their employees.I will absolutely be back for anything that’s not sunroof related. I was so stressed about my sunroof and this family-owned business came through in a clutch. A million thank-you’s to Rene!
In my opinion Hillside imports is #1 for Volkswagen repair and for everything you want and need aftermarket, me and my family all drive Volkswagens and weve been very faithful to Hillside, do you need more of a reason to give them your car keys?
Considering this time during a pandemic, my experience was thoughtful, professional and a treat for my elderly VW plus a feeling of being understood and treated very well. Many thanks for thee attention and work that was done, which for me means a return.
Ive been with VW dealer most of my VW CC life. Expensive and often unprofessional. Came to HI for rear main replacement and was amazed by their professionalism and car knowledge. Also reasonable pricing. Its my shop now. My car loves it, according to the engine sound 😉
Rene fixed my cars two problems below his quote, and the car runs better then it has in years. If you have a VW or Audi, this is the place to go: probably any other car as well.
I am a new customer at Hillside Imports and very impressed with the overall experience. Rene helped coach me through options to fix an issue that had been improperly diagnosed by the dealer. He spent time after hours working with the manufacturer to help give me the most reliable information. Very glad I found this shop nearby!
Hillside Imports is one of the best mechanics that I have ever worked with. I have taken my 1987 VW Vanagon there for about four years. The previous owner of the vehicle also took it to these guys. Rene has gone out of his way to help keep my 30 year old vehicle healthy. After recently moving to Texas, the mechanics here said that my vehicle was one of the better maintained Vanagons that they had worked on. I continue to pester Rene with random questions while living thousands of miles away and he is always super helpful. They shoot you straight, help you make informed decisions on the priority of your engine needs, and are dedicated to making your vehicle last as long as possible. Highly recommended!
My Tiguan got a little fussy on my way to work and had to have it towed. I chose Hillside based on reviews and im more than happy and satisfied with the work done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! MY Tiggy is running like a champ again.
So far so good my Audi seems to like this place and me 2
Great experience! I bought an ‘04 Passat from its original owner who had it serviced at Hillside pretty regularly for a few years. A light came on the dash and I decided to take it back to them, they got an appointment for me very quickly and gave me very clear directions for contactless pickup/dropoff. They kept the car for longer than I expected for a diagnosis but I realize that it was because they thoroughly took their time and communicated to me the whole way through! I tried a VW dealership and they couldn’t figure it out, neither could the tire shop where I recently got tires and where the light came on. I’m so glad that Hillside continued to take great care of this vehicle and made me feel so comfortable! They made recommendations about purchasing a filter (which I will just do myself) and when I declined they were not pushy or aggressively sales-y. Very down to earth people who know their stuff! Pricing was very reasonable and all of the staff was so friendly and helpful. I’m very happy with the experience that I had, you can really tell that they care. 😊
Great service and support from the group and I would easily recommend this shop to any VW driver.
I have used Hillside for both repairs and advice. He recently did a lot of work on my daughters Jetta. She was considering selling the car and now she is so satisfied that she is going to hang on to it. Rene left a little thank you gift for them when they picked up the car. Then, about a week later, the car experienced another problem. It would not shift out of Park. She was in a drive-thru, which was fortunately closed (HAHA). She had to wait for 2 hours for someone to show up to help ( I was out of town). She got the car to my house and I thought that it was something to do with the trans lock. Turns out, that was not the case. I was able to get the car to Hillside and Rene fixed the issue with no charge. They are always helpful and we could not be more thankful for their service.
We use Hillside for maintenance and repairs on our GTI. They have always done a great job. We recently had a couple of issues that were covered by a warrant we were not aware of. Rene directed us to a VW dealership where we were able to get the repair covered. Amazingly honest service.
I have been going here for the last few years or so since i got my VW. Rene and the team is amazing. Never had any complaints with them and they usually get the car in and out super quick.Highly recommend them for any VW, German repairs.
The neighborhood family-run VW shop, competent and friendly.
Theres so much that went wrong here and even though this is my local VW mechanic, Im debating driving 10+ miles for any further maintenance.I called Hillside Imports (HI) due to the fact that I needed a new ignition lock. They quoted being able to get me in and worked on within a few days - having my car back within a week or so. I was impressed with how quickly they could get me in and worked on.I shouldve known better, but due to COVID shipping times (which HI never mentioned once) I ended up being without a car for over two weeks and considering my income comes primarily from delivering food via car, it definitely wouldve been more appreciated to have heard a more accurate quote time. Which, again, Im totally fine and have all the patience in the world. If COVID took the car part 4 weeks to arrive, I wouldve accepted that and been okay with the proper communication; however, HI did NOT communicate ONCE about any delays in shipping times. Now, on the phone, I instructed HI to ONLY do what work I had requested and told them I had a budget of $600. They agreed and said they would call if they saw any other issues.11/3 @ approximately 10am, HI called to let me know my car was done and to contact them back to discuss billing and retrieval of the vehicle. On the phone we discussed what work had been done and HI had taken it upon themselves to do some extra work that was never once discussed. I told them I only had $600 and only requested certain things to be done and never gave any consent for this additional work to be done. UPDATE: HI claims they did the work for free, but when I called to make payment arrangements, they told me my total was x amount higher than what was quoted (without my consent) and had accepted a payment plan for me to pay them the remainder of the balance in due time. The next morning, I went in to retrieve the car and HI had locked the keys in the car after I specifically told them that I didnt have a spare, in which they responded that they would leave the key on the back left wheel... On top of that, the guy working told me that the woman that contacted me had let me know of the additional work that needed to be done via voice-mail on 11/3. But, in fact, there was absolutely NO word about additional work being done. I still have the voice-mail and it only states that the car is ready to be picked up and call to discuss payment and pickup options. If you want an honest mechanic, Im not sure Id trust these guys. Especially if youre a woman, likely, theyll think youre naive (which many of us are when it comes to auto work 🤣) and try to take advantage of you.Not okay.Even though this place is 3 miles from my house, Ill be traveling 10-20 miles for any future auto work on my VW.And I know I told you Id be back to pay for the additional work that was done without consent, but in fact, I wont be anymore. Hopefully, yall can take this one as a loss and realize its not okay to perform ANY type of work without consent (especially when people let you know theyre financially struggling in the middle of a damn pandemic and only have a certain budget to work with!!!!!!)Update: The owner of Hillside Imports claims they are transparent in all that they do, but this situation shows that they indeed were NOT transparent at all.Dear HI, you have my contact information. Feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience. I am happy to edit my reviews with the appropriate accountability and professionalism shown in future interactions.
My 07 Rabbit wouldnt turn over and shops around the Portland area told me that it was so many other things and that they would order me all these parts an charge quite a bit. Called Hillsdale imports and they were super nice, ended up being a old battery issue. The big thing is they actually listened to me and realized what it was. They got it in immediately swapped the battery for a very decent price and out in a very short amount of time. Love the no nonsense service. Will be back.
I was concerned about my car A/C and Hillside fixed it up great! I got my car in a timely manner and they even cleaned the dash, which was much appreciated since I have 2 dogs that ride in my car fairly often.
Since we recently moved here and not having anyone to make a recommendation of where to take our 2014 Passat CC I had to rely on google reviews and brief discussion with them when requesting a quote for rear brake rotor and pad replacement. I immediately felt at ease talking with office lady (Sorry dont remember your name), but after explaining what I needed she said someone would get back to me shortly. To my surprise I received a call back within 30-40 minutes to go over quote and the questions about parts (Were they OEM) and when could they get me in. I was able to get in within a few days so I confirmed an appointment. Most importantly through this whole process, I never felt like they were trying to sell me something I didnt need. What a good feeling!Jump ahead a few days and dropped wifes car off and left. Definitely liked the drop-off Covid-19 procedure (Never seeing anyone) and left. 4-5 hours later received a call everything was done, and they replaced the battery in the FOB which the car had been warning me about low battery for weeks, and headed down to pick it up. Upon arrival wife first noticed the car had been vacuumed (Thank you very much), and her key fob was not sending low battery warnings to the cars computer. The work they did seems to be flawless, and I have every intention of continuing to have all my work done by them.Thank you Hillside Imports for being professional in every step of the process! Least important, but want to pass along to those interested, pricing for work done was good, and considerable less then the car dealer who changed my oil a few weeks earlier!Sincerely,Jim
Took great care of me and my jalopy of a VW Rabbit!
This shop is amazing – we’ve been taking our cars to these guys for 10 years, and they’ve always taken wonderful care of us. They’ve never pressured us into work that we didn’t need. They’re always eager to answer questions and provide more information so that we can budget for upcoming service and maintenance. They’ve also completed two pre-purchase exams for us, and helped us better understand the condition of the vehicles so that we could negotiate with the seller. They’ve taken such good care of us that we continue to visit their shop even though we live in N Portland now. Thank you Rene and team, we appreciate you!
Just feeling comfortable.A little far away where I am in Washington.
Honest and fair and affordable service. Years ago they were the only mechanic that could figure out and fix our sunroof leak on our Jetta wagon. Glad we found them, really happy to have a trustworthy mechanic... Wish they were in North Portland too!
The last Honest Car Repair Shop. And great service.
Serviced my MkIV R32. You need to call these people if you love your VW and want high quality service. Its not your average shop. You will notice small details that you would never expect from a mechanic. Example... my hood was the slightest bit wonky when it was shut, something no one else would know about unless I pointed it out. But Hillside saw the flaw. Then they fixed it. I didnt ask and they didnt tell me, they just did it. I am grinning now because I feel so lucky to have a team of mechanics I can trust. Call Rene. Your vehicle will thank you.
I wont bring my ride to any other shop. Rene and his team are the absolute best.
Used Hillside several times after purchasing a 2001 Eurovan weekender in November 2016. This van was a bit of a project, so I really wanted it gone through with a fine tooth comb. It Immediately drove better on receiving it back and had the confidence to take it on some road trips knowing everything was in working order. These guys are super thorough, Rene has a ton of integrity and they even sent me home with a bottle of wine as a holiday gift!
Rene and his crew are champions. They were able to diagnose and fix my Tiguan before anyone else was even going to make time for me.Rene was polite, professional and concise. Most importantly to me, he kept me well informed and always asked before doing additional work.Hillside Imports scored my loyalty in one visit, I dont see a reason to go elsewhere.
Took my 10 years old VW GTI here for the first time (referred by a friend), and was not disappointed! Had some major work done and was very pleased with the communication I got from Rene on what was going on and timing and pricing. Will definitely be returning!
If you have a VW that needs repair, this is the place to take it. Honest, reliable, and they do a great job. Everyone that I know with a VW takes it here for repair because they do such a good job.
Rene has been a great advisor and mechanic to me for years now. I choose to own some somewhat troublesome cars, and Rene always shoots me straight. If something isnt correct, he makes it so. Hes part of my trusted network of service professionals. Hillside isnt the cheapest repair shop around, and they shouldnt be, as you get what you pay for. The service and the quality are hard to beat. Thanks Rene and staff for keeping me and my German fleet on the road!
Hillside Imports does flawless work every time. On my second Volkswagen now, and they have taken superb care of both of the cars. Every time they have been far under the estimates that I have received from other local shops including Volkswagen dealerships. Latest servicing was $200 under an estimate from another shop using new parts as opposed to the other shop using used parts. Will not take my cars elsewhere if I can help it.
An amazing place to have your Volkswagen or Audi worked on. Renee is the owner and super helpful, even if you only have questions about your car. Because of Renees transparency with are Volkswagen we started using Hillside Imports over the dealership.
Hillside Imports stands tall at the apex of superior customer service. I dont go anywhere else for maintenance. These guys have made it apparent that they care, and that my car in its best condition is the only way they like it to leave their lot. Nothing disappoints at HIllside Imports.
A friendly staff with great service and fair prices. I’ll definitely be coming back.
See UPDATE below...Girlfriend took in her Audi for an oil pan leak and also asked them to change the wiper blades. After getting the car back, the windshield was scratched. At first, we thought it was dirt, but after washing it a couple times realized the only way this could have occured was when the wipers were replaced.I called and explained the situation, and the person from Hillside immediately got defensive and belligerent and said there is no way they caused the issue. He kept interrupting me and talking over me insisting I was wrong. I asked him if he personally worked on the car, and he said he didnt even know which car I was talking about. How could he claim they didnt cause the damage if he didnt even know which car I was calling about? He then looked up the vehicle and again said they didnt cause the damage. I asked him if he personally worked on the car, and he said no, that someone else did. I asked him if he watched the work, and he said no.So here is a company who doesnt want to take responsibility for such a small thing (windshield replacements are not that expensive).Horrible horrible horrible customer service for a situation that could have been handled much differently. He could have said, OK bring in the car and lets take a look. Nope, just outright belligerence and denial, even before knowing what car I was talking about.UPDATE after owner response...I dont see how to respond to an owner response, so Im editing the original review. While Im glad to see a response, it is far from satisfactory and inaccurate. This matter is far from settled.First Krista, you were not on the call, Rene was. Second, he did not calmly and respectfully explain what likely happened. Before knowing which car I was calling about (because he didnt ask), he kept interrupting me, insisting that your company didnt cause the damage. He was quite rude and very disrespectful from the start. That is a fact.Second, it is possible and likely that your company caused the damage. You describe the happy path scenario where the technician does everything right. You also boldly imply that they never make mistakes. The facts are, the scratch was not there when the car was dropped off at your company, and it was there after.Im not buying into the brittle rubber can scratch glass theory. Even if this was the case, it doesnt explain how the scratch magically appeared when the vehicle was in your possession.I am quite shocked that you are willing to lose a local customer for such a small thing. The cost to repair / replace a windshield is insignificant compared to the lost revenue from us not using your business in the future. At the very least, I would have expected you to say, Bring the car in, and we will take a look. Nope, all I get are denials, sight unseen. There is a simple way to resolve this. The choice is yours if you want to do the right thing or not.
I had an excellent experience at Hillside. Rene was fantastic and very realistic with me about my new to me GTI and what it will need over its lifetime. They did an install of the diesel geek short shift kit (totally recommend that for anyone with a manual VW/ Audi - makes shifting a dream). Install was done same-day, adjusted appropriately and I could tell they really value their clients and take great care of vehicles. Pricing seems fair as well for the excellent level of service provided. Enthusiasts definitely work there, there are some cool cars around the shop.
After writing this review on Yelp, the shop contacted me to say they would no longer service my car.I started taking my 2005 TDI here about a year ago - Rene and the mechanics here know a lot about the TDI engines, which is a real life saver. Unfortunately my vehicle needs to go there a lot, and its soured my feelings on Hillside as a whole. The customer-service aspect of their business is lacking in some important ways - they do not charge for work in a fair way. Ive brought in my car twice now, explained a few problems, they look at it, cant find the problem, charge me hundreds, and it does it as soon as I start the engine.Ive found them to be somewhat terse when I come in to pay - it has made me feel like they only care about figuring how much money they can get, the bedside-manor aspect is extremely poor. On top of, they didnt even notice the issue I asked them to look at and said it was fine. They are serial overcharges - $300 for replacing a wire harness is way too much. $200 for placing the window pin is beyond ripping you off (took me FIVE MINUTES, the part costs less than a cent). $700 for a brake job raised a lot of my friends eyebrows - thats just not right.(It seems to be a combination of always charging full $100/hr, even when they were unsuccessful in *finding* the problem, much less fixing it, and using extremely overpriced parts)The cost nearly always increases from the call to paying - My transmission job went from 5k to 6k. Why? He was rounding down...Ive personally spoken with Rene about all these issues, and he does not see a problem with it. Im sure it makes sense from a business perspective, but the communication and helpfulness aspect of any good mechanic are *severely* lacking.I chose to wrote this because I was in there only a week ago - they say the car is great, I pay for them not fixing anything (again), get home, and BAM, Check engine light related to what I just asked them to fix, that they didnt find OR FIX. I ask for an appointment, and theyre not available for another week.If you have a TDI, this is where everyone will point you. They will get you car working. Youll be happy until you come back again. And again. And they start not to care about making you happy.
Great customer service. Rene did a great job keeping in communication with us about problems they found (issues the dealer missed). Rates were reasonable and had a very quick turn around in getting our vehicles back to us.
Thank you, Renee! My husband is a shade tree mechanic. We took our 2001 VW GTI in to have them double check our work and do somethings that we could not. We had the whole back end filled with parts and parts boxes from our front-end refresh. They sifted through our mess to save us $$$ money $$$. This place is great, but it has a weird location. I can definitely see why it is named hillside.
I took my ‘03 Jetta to these guys two weeks ago to get the timing belt replaced and the 100k mile service, and as usual they were friendly on the phone when scheduling the service and had no problem taking the time to walk me through what they’d be doing and answer any questions, even though it was obvious they were busy. On the day of the service, they called me as they were working on my car to fill me in on their progress and to recommend various maintenance, which has been typical of the previous times Ive taken my car to them, so expect great communication.Unfortunately, one week later my engine started spraying fluid everywhere, so I had it towed back to them. They assured me that they would make it a priority to check out what had happened, and sure enough Rene called me just a few hours later to tell me I could come pick my car up, as it turned out just to be a minor issue. Because they had done a pretty involved service just 7 days prior, I did feel the need to ask if there was any way they could have had something to do with it (if he had said no I wouldnt have argued), but before I could even finish my sentence he told me that although it was unlikely, he wasnt going to charge me for any of it as a show of good will. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that, and this was even after he had spent the extra time to put my car back on the lift to ease my paranoia that oil was leaking from somewhere. When I picked up my car, I also discovered that they had replaced the broken key-ring part of my key, free of charge (normally $15), which was totally unexpected and very cool of them! They seriously went above and beyond on this one even though they didnt have to. I honestly believe him when he says they probably didnt cause it, but even if they had, their response to it has ensured that they will continue to have my business. I’m confident theyve earned every good review theyve gotten. Take your car there!
Just had major service performed on my 2003 RS6. Had the t-belt, control arms and valve cover gasket/cam end seals. While in there, Luke (Tech) observed some damage connector housings and heat deteriorated hoses which he took care of at no additional charges other than the part costs. I was able to stop by on the second day and he allowed me to a walk about under the car - looking at all areas (CV boots, Prop shaft seals, rear dif, etc. - fortunately ALL looked great. They in the past serviced my A 2.7t - also with a great experience. I shopped around and researched quite extensively on where I was going to take the much more rare RS6. I highly recommend these guys !
Great service(s), and customer service. Work done is excellent, and fair pricing.
These guys were totally fine; admittedly I dont have much to compare them to on account I havent taken all that many cars to a mechanic, so for a layman, they were great. If youre anything like me (and you probably are reading Google Reviews), youre just looking for a place to take your car into and are trusting that the Internets aggregated reviews will point you in the right direction and do the research for you.My experience with these guys was as follows: I saw one or two bad reviews about them here on Google, both written by the types of people who just sound like they want to be angry about something, and both were responded to by the business owners, which to me at the very least says they care. Everyone else wrote pretty good reviews, so I decided to give these guys a chance. They have bankers hours and I work bankers hours, so (like other places) they had a nice drop-off system where you could just take your car in, drop it off, and theyll look at it whenever. This part was seamless, wed setup an appointment within a pretty quick timeframe, they asked some basic questions (one of which I sure I answered wrong cause Im stupid about cars), and all was set. There is a bus stop right out front, so Id advise timing your drop-off around that. When they had my car in the shop, they called me and let me know theyd found a problem (which I was ready for as I inherited the car/was sure it had never been taken into a shop), and that the problem, while not crazy terrible, was big enough that it would cost a decent chunk of change. They were nice enough to give me the option to live with this problem and accept the risks, or pay the chunk o change and get it taken care of now. There was no pressure here to go either way, which was awesome. It was also awesome that they called me at all, because to me every penny counts, so it was nice to be ready for the damage instead of just going ahead with it and billing me without any say.I conceded to it and trusted them (they are mechanics after all), and that was that.Theyd fixed my car, given it the mileage service, and it was ready the same day of the appointment. All was great, Id come back in a heartbeat.
Theyve done excellent work on my car. Being new back to Portland I was leary of anyone else working on it after the shop I used in Bend. Rene and his team have been great! I will continue to use them for all my future VWs.
I am hard to impress, and most mechanical work on my car is done by me personally. I took my VW to Hillside because I needed expert help. Rene, Rob, and the crew are the real deal. The drive from rural WA to Beaverton was 100% worth it. I highly recommend Hillside to anyone who wants their VW/Audi work to be well done.
Hillside has taken excellent care of my diesel VW. Their work is professional and thorough.
Wow! My husband and I just discovered Hillside Imports and I am SO glad we did! I wholeheartedly recommend their service and will be returning to Hillside for our car needs from now on.We had been taking our 2012 VW Jetta to the dealership for routine maintenance because we did not have a good go-to local garage; but we always wondered if we could get the same work done elsewhere for a better price. Yes, we can!! On our last trip to the dealer, they said that both rear brake calipers had a leak and needed to be replaced. They also recommended replacing the air filter. They would not be able to complete these repairs for over a week because they would need to order parts (from New Jersey??) and recommended that we not drive the car in the meantime. They quoted the work at just over $1000. Since this was way more than we were hoping to spend, we called Hillside Imports after a quick Google search. Not only could they do the repair on Monday (this was Friday) they said they would charge $480. In the end, Hillside ended up only needing to replace one caliper, because only ONE was leaking! They also said that the air filter did not need to be replaced at this time, as the dealership recommended. We ended up spending $260 at Hillside versus $1000+ the dealership would have charged us! We are so thankful to Hillside Imports for their friendly, prompt service and for the their honesty. They saved us a good deal of money in the end! We will be bringing our car back to Hillside Imports for all routine maintenance and fixes in the future. I would definitely recommend this shop, hands-down!
They did an amazing job fixing my Audi A7. I had a problem that in other shops was very expensive to fix and I lost trust in other shops. They fixed my car and at a very nice rate.
Locally owned VW and Audi service specialists. Family owned and run. I cant say enough about their attention to detail and professionalism.
Amazing customer service, and highly intelligent mechanics that can work wonders on mk1 vws.
Thank you to the whole Hillside Imports team. Fantastic work on the car. I could not be happier!
Extraordinarily helpful for an auto shop. Volkswagen and Audi experts of the highest order. They saved me after a botched front end suspension rebuild.
Great service, reasonable prices, owners care about customers, very knowledgeable.
Fair pricing, great customer service, the place to take your VW when you want a quality fix.
Had a full inspection for 200 and mentioned how the car needed a jump to start a couple days prior..Get the car back with then telling me that they couldnt find a problem. Fast forward four or so days if driving paces and what not, car doesnt start and isnt with a jump this time. After talking to them about standing behind their work and fixing the problem, the owner Rene, tells us they cant fix it to go somewhere else and pays us 300$...Wow never in my life have I heard of this, dont bring your car here. Hillside had fallen far and they are not with your time, they cant even fix a dead battery.. 0_o0/10. Go to their competitors double Jay motorwerks.---------------In response to the below statements:Disrespecting your representatives??I hardly even spoke to you guys. Also, your pricing scheme is off the charts.I am thoroughly satisfied with the shop that I should have gone to. it saddens me to my core that Hillside wouldnt solve my problem.Regardless, I am sorry you guys felt disrespected. The impression and explanation I received about sending me away was that you had more cars coming in than you had time to fix them and you didnt want to deal with a power draw that could take a lot of time testing and less time actually billing me.It was really pathetic, frankly. The issue could have been handled on a much deeper and professional manner.Implying you were disrespected in a reply to my review when you mentioned nothing of the sort to me when I was asking why you couldnt help me is not only backwards but shady as well.Do what you need to do to protect your image. You have fallen. And far.Minus another star for the sideways response from the owner.
The folks at Hillside fixed a troubling electrical issue and water infiltration problem quickly and charged a reasonable price. This was my first time using their shop, and it will be the shop I use from now on.
Excellent mechanics. Really know their trade.
The folks at Hillside Imports have always been very friendly and easy to work with. I will continue to work with them for a very long time.
The Best
Great group of mechanics!!!
Friendly people but hard to get into
The people here really care about your car
With artists!
