Definition of hole in the wall. When you walk in, its a tiny market with stuff everywhere. They sell various Asian products. Then to the right is their tiny restaurant area. Menu is hand written on the wall and theres grandma in the back cooking. Food was great and Id recommend it.

Ive been eating here since high school, and Ive never had a negative experience. Best Thai food Ive ever had; not overly priced, friendly service, fast, and I especially love how they have some grocery items. I loooove the rice noodles and the rice squares; I cant have gluten and these are the cheapest gluten-free noodles Ive ever come across! 🐘10/10

Been a fav.for 21 + years, and counting.Very clean, polite,& fair pricing .Donot let their humble establishments atmosphere mislead you...Their take on Drunken Noodle is on - point. As are theirSpring rolls, & pan thia to name a few of my favorites. If you have not found your way there yet ; its time. . . bring your appetite, The portions are generous .They also have tables :if you prefer Eating in- house.,rather than take-out.

Not the best pad thai. First of all I ordered it with tofu and got chicken. It was very soupy and short on ingredients other than noodles. The flavor was ok, not great. The portion size was good, the price was ok and it was ready quickly.

This place has always been awesome. However I got the shrimp pad thai today and it only had 4 tiny (i mean tiny) shrimp in it. It tasted great but I would think that paying a bit more for shrimp there should be more of them and bigger ones at that. Great tasting food though

Ive been coming to this market for almost 8 years now ( since I moved up from mass). First I will start with the employees, always happy to see you when you walk in. Always smiling( you can tell even through the masks we all have to wear right now haha) always very polite and they remember my name. The Thai rolls to start are never never never a disappointment. Personally I could make a meal just out of thoes, flakey crispy wraps and the inside is always seasoned to perfection. For my dinner I usually go with a 4 star chicken pad Thai or the garlic chicken/beef. You can spend $13 and completely feed 2 people. This is hands down my favorite Thai place, amazing people, amazing food, at a price you can not beat!!!!

Hidden gem! This is the best Thai food and GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS! (Just let the lady know it has to be gluten free, the way they make it it always is but just to be sure). The chicken Pad Thai and fresh rolls are the best and are super affordable. Only $12.99 for fresh rolls and chicken Pad Thai! Not only that but I always have leftovers for later. If youre in Portland and want Thai food go here! Its cute, its little, but if you and a friend wants to grab some food do it! They do take out however they do not have delivery.

The best, freshest, of this specific cuisine.A favorite destination year-after-year . The proprietors have rarely used advertising from the this establishment opened for business well -over a decade ago ...it was in not necessary-word of mouth from those whom visited spoke loudly, and traveled swiftly throughout all corners of our city, and eventually beyond. This is a very humble little building, in nothing fancy, and it may be on your first-glancehard to believe they may have the bestTake of this particular type of ethnic - cuisine, in the state..I do believe you will be back for more, once youve experienced their fine offerings.

Best pad thai in Portland hands down. I used to live just around the corner from this little restaurant and grocery store. Just enough seating room to be awkward but funky for people watching, just the perfect amount of spices and supplies for making your own gourmet dishes and just the perfect excuse for not cooking any night of the week. Five hearts for this little place in the heart of Portlands over-inflated food scene.

Always great food here! One of the top options for Thai food in the Portland area. Great prices, fast reliable service, and a good selection of ingredients if you need any accoutrements to make your own Thai cuisine. Ive been going there for about 5 years, and only once was there a discrepancy (and it ended up being my fault). Great pad thai, drunken noodles, and my favorite: pineapple fried rice.

Usually good is good here. This evening I picked up fresh spring rolls (flavorless, bland, not at all appetizing)- disappointing. And veggie fried rice...awful, could not eat.
