This is the perfect place to shop if you want that small town market experience. The people who run this place are so friendly, and everybody who works there starts to recognize you after youve been there a couple of times. There are wonderful fresh meats, and real gems in the produce department. This is also a great market to hunt for new snacks. Check it out if youre in the area, youll have fun!

They have extensive spices and tea selection. The owner was the sweetest and gave my son some jelly candy and was very accommodating! Plus they have some amazing large porcelain decorative vases and wood furniture.

Great selection of foods needed to cook most Asian foods. The produce clean and fresh with a large selection.

I would love to rate this place higher, because the staff is super friendly. The problem is that they dont run the heat, or at least dont set it very high. This makes it unlikely for anyone to take their time while shopping, so there is lost revenue. They also dont have a public restroom which is a huge departure of other grocery stores.. This is a new space for this store so not all of the space is used efficiently. There are many areas that could be used to generate revenue. The last thing is their rewards program. In order to qualify for a reward, you have to keep all of your paper receipts. If you do, then you can choose an item from one of their top shelves. To put it simply, the top shelf of every food aisle is covered with items that you cannot buy even though they have a price tag. I have tried to buy these desirable items before and I was denied. In my humble opinion, this system of reward and business management doesnt work. I hope they improve their customer service strategy in the near future.

Yeah!!!Want to mention:Handicap Parking is for those with Handicap- NOT to park while you just need to run in the store of one to a few items.Next time a photo will be taken of your car PARKED IN A HANICAP SPACE and Missing the HANDICAP PARKING PERMIT and turned over to the Police & DMV. Be respectful!

The fresh section (meats and produce) is a little small, at the moment. But with some time, it should hopefully expand to offer more varieties. They do have all the essential items at competitive pricing and offer many varieties in the popular brands. There is also a large general section, so the store is a kind of corner supermarket. Definitely support this store, if youre ever in a shop local frame-of-mind.

I cant say enough about this store. I loved them back when they were on 82nd, and they seem to have a greater selection now after moving to their Powell location. Air conditioning was a lifesaver in 90 degree heat and there is a variety of delicious baked goods from the amazing An Xuyan bakery on Foster. The woman who seems to always be working the register is always friendly and is usually giving away free snacks with my purchase. This is a great and nearby store where I get a variety of things.

Nice store the Cashier was really freindly and very nice. My kids had fun in there trying to pick out new candies to try. They even had a point system to earn discounts. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely little family owned place! Like most Asian specialty markets, youll find things here you cant at regular grocery stores, at a better price point. Theyve also got their own reward system.

Lots of great variety for things you can’t buy in a regular grocery store (quail eggs, canned bubble tea, huge selection of noodles and frozen meats). Very friendly owners too! The woman ringing us up gave my 3 year old a free bag of banana puffs and the man came to get our cart in the parking lot and helped me when I was struggling to get my son out of the shopping cart seat. Happy to not have to travel to 82nd anymore for Asian ingredients!

Excellent store for fresh produce and fruit. Nice meat selection for Asian cooking. Prices are much lower than similar products in American groceries. Staff is very helpful and speaks English and various Asian language including Chinese and Korean . I highly recomnend! GBK PDX

Looks like a new store still being stocked and set up. Lots of items have country of origin labels so if you dont read/speak the language you can have selection problems. Friendly staff and moderate pricing.

Compare with other Asian market on 82nd, this market has less products but good for quick shop. Goods are much fresher than other market for sure. The best part is friendly staff, great service.

A hidden treasure. Located in a sketchy looking strip mall, but inside is quality product at affordable prices. Owners/ operators were welcoming and offered info on products we were unfamiliar. (How to best ripen and prepare our fruit). We were offered additional free product at the register and were encouraged to keep our receipt to redeem as points (which never expire) for additional product. We will be back, my daughter (a local) and myself (from Maine). This place is great.

Great place and people! I just wish they delivered like Amazon, maybe just in the area. I always crave for roast pork and dimsum. If they had that, then Ill probably just have groceries and the hot food delivered. That would be the dream. But kudos to them theyre great!

This store is great! They have a great variety of items and very good prices. The people who run the store are the nicest people too, when I was there they us some stuff for free at checkout gave at checkout. The people here clearly love their job and it shows. This is probably the best shopping experience a person can have.

Love shopping here. I come down all the way from Mount Hood villages to shop here. The owner is always at checkout and shes always happy to show you what you need for specific dishes. The prices are pretty good, the selection is great. I like pretty much any SE Asian food and the building-blocks for all of them can be found here. Every time I go, the owner always gives my son something to take home. A little toy with candy or whatnot. The generosity and welcome is always heaped on their costumers. My only complaint is that I wish this grocery was closer to Mount Hood.

I love this place. My husband or I will come here at least once a week for everything from rice to snacks to Filipino hot dogs to that super spicy soup. The owners and staff are so kind and helpful. The store is clean and well-stocked. Their deli and fresh-baked food area has closed up since the start of the COVID craziness, but everything else is still there.Great location as far as being on the border of Gresham and Portland - easy to get to. Not super easy to see from the street since it sits kinda far back, like behind Burger King, but its worth the extra glance to find it.Lastly, they always give away a freebie at checkout, which is really cool. Sometimes its bananas, other times its candy or a coconut water drink. They always have something on hand.I highly recommend this place!Oh, and they have those delicious Boba creamsicles too. I cant find them anywhere else...in case anyone else is looking :)

This place is wonderful! The couple who owns it are so sweet & helpful. They have just as much as Fubonn but they’re closer to Gresham. I can’t believe I just found out about this place 🤩

Go-to spot for Asian groceries and snacks! They are a family run business and have really stepped up their variety of foods-- some of my favorite Hawaiian Sun products and boba ice cream/popsicles are here. Its very clean and well organized, employees are very helpful if you need help finding stuff. They also sell local products. I live more north so I dont have a chance to go to Uwajimaya or HMart so I go here for the hard to come by Asian products

Nice folks! I am glad that theres a market like this closer to my house though I dont mind going to 82nd for miles and miles of Asian markets.Currently everything still looks like theyre still in the process of moving in but it was still worth visiting.

Love this store. They have lots of fresh meat and produce, plus the people are super nice. They used to be near 82nd and Foster in Portland, and Id drive all the way out there from Estacada because they always have what I need. Its a bigger store, and more variety now!

Good customer service and a great selection of products. Their soy milk was a good deal and their prices were cheaper than Uwajimaya. (But more limited in regards to baked goods and prepared dishes.) That being said the customer service was better and we plan to come back the next time were in the area. My wife was a happy camper and enjoyed seeing products from Malaysia.

I love this place, they have too much to look at for one go but their staff was really sweet to my friend and I so Ill be returning very soon! 🧡

Items are organized a bit haphazardly, but the staff are very helpful and friendly. Theres a decent variety of Asian produce and products (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, etc.) at very competitive prices. Theres also a section for housewares.

I needed Japanese curry and this place is located near my house. I was floored by the customer service and selection. I was able to find my Golden Curry, as well as thai curry paste, my favorite canned coconut milk, and a wide variety of sauces. The cashier was so incredibly friendly! This place will be my go-to Asian grocery store in Portland.

I go to this market nearly exclusively whenever I am in Portland (I live in Vancouver). They have the best prices around and the employees are so friendly. Never once have they shamed me for asking a question. And every time I go they give me a free item just to try as Im checking out. Sometimes they even have a couple choices to pick from. There are LOTS of snack items to try and it seems they get new ones frequently. But the most important thing to me is that they carry my very favorite white rabbit candies! Now if only they would bring back the rose milk they once carried, I would be an even more satisfied customer, if thats even possible (I adored that stuff)!
