They spent a lot of time trying to help me get my Garmin chart plotter working but in the end no go. Bought something from these guys on eBay but the part did not fit. The eBay Refund process did not work properly but these guys sorted it out - their customer service line was no-wait (on a Thursday morning). Easy to work with. If I need something for my boat Id buy from them.
Wonderful people to trade with. I had a RC520 with a bad screen. Talked with Max about upgrading to newer chartplotter, which he didnt have but would look for one. No success, but he did have a rebuilt RC520 in stock.Ordered Mon; arrived Tue; swap out Wed. Looks/works good. Max spent a lot of his time on a small sale. Couldnt of been happier. I have used Max Marine Electronics twice to repair my Raymarine C80 for a screen problem and a chart chip reading problem. The service has been excellent each time. They always let you know your unit is received and advise you of the status all the way through it being returned to you. Having an older unit I find it more cost effective to get the repair done than upgrading because an upgrade would require me to change out other units. When I have other repair needs I will go to Max Marine Electronics.
We had to return a Raymarine E120 multi function Chart Plotter display. They bench tested it because it was not lighting up. Not sure why, but cheerfully replaced it. We even got extra time to return again if we have a problem after going to the Bahamas. This is definitely a customer oriented business providing a much needed service to the boating community at fair prices. A little hard to find but call if you go in person rather than mail.
One of the best places and most professional business people. I was getting ready to head north from Ft Lauderdale to Connecticut in early June. Had a problem with my autopilot. Brought it to them the afternoon before. They bench tested everything for me while i waited. Told me everything was good. Advised me on reinstalling it and what to change. Wish every marine store was like them. Owner didnt even want to charge me for their bench testing time.🤦🏻♂️I tipped the tech well and will forever be greatful. I will be a customer for life!
My open array radar crapped out in the middle of our short New England boating season and Max educated me on all the options short and long term. I chose a short term option as the technology is changing and I needed to get up and running quickly. Max hooked me up with a very cost effective option that was delivered promptly and worked flawlessly. He even agreed to take my current system in trade. My marina installed the unit and was sceptical when I told them about the deal I got. Now they want his number. I could not be happier.

Ill take a minute to just say thanks, I didnt purchase anything from this company, but they told what was wrong with my unit and how to fix it! They didnt try to sell me on something else and the advise was free. This is a great business model and I will remember this when im in the market to purchase some new electronics. There are still some great companies left out there, and Im glad I found this one. My most Sincere Thanks to Max Marine Electronics for their incredible repair and service on our Raymarine C120 MFD. I called Raymarine however they didnt make or have an inventory of any parts for our 12 year old multi-function display, however they recommended I contact Max Marine Electronics. The people I spoke with at Max Marine were very helpful and knowledgeable however its my nature to be a skeptic and I had doubts that the unit could be repaired at all. I was amazed at how quickly they returned our C120 and it looks incredible, it functions perfectly and even the polarized coating on the screen that had deteriorated so badly, looked perfect as well. Our C120 hasnt looked this good or functioned this well since the day it came out of the box. My wife Mary and I would like to send you our most sincere Thanks!

I brought my E120 Classic in for the back light issue which is a pretty common problem with these units. They took it in and had it repaired and ready to pick up in one day. Price was reasonable. II will definitely go back when I need repairs to my marine electronics.

I had an E120 Raymarine quit on me when we were getting ready to cross to the Bahamas the next day. We were in Stuart and I called Max to see if there was anything he could do. He said bring it in and will take a look at it. Got in the car drove to Pompano they fixed the unit in about an hour and we were on our way the next day to the Bahamas. Outstanding service!

I am refurbishing my 2001 Beneteau Oceanis 461 and continually run into items that are no longer available from the original vendor.One example - Raymarine no longer carry Seatalk 1 cables since they switched to Seatalk NG.Max Marine were the only folks I found who had some Raymarine Seatalk 1 cables that I needed.Their staff took the time to find what they had in inventory and provided what I needed at a very fair price.One of the cables was shorter than specified and they immediately shipped a replacement.The marine industry is fraught with vendors adopting new standards and no longer supporting equipment that is still in use.We are fortunate to have Max Marine whose specialize in buying & selling this equipment.Many thanks to Max and Tiffany for their help.

I made a purchase of a Raymarine E120 which arrived on time, my complaint refers to the fact that after having asked to send the Invoice in the order then they send me an ORDER which does not serve for the dispatch. They tell me that since they sent it to a shipper they do not send invoice. It was a requirement made in the order and without that invoice I cannot clear the order from customs. In all product exports, the invoice of the seller goes with the correct price. They also charged me a Florida tax. The post-sale treatment has not left me satisfied and it makes me have doubts about the company despite how large it is. More reliability and better service, I do not know if I have problems with the team that answer can give. Thank you
